Hello everypony!

The Open Server Event has finished and the servers are now closed. Thanks everyone who played the game this weekend. We hope you all enjoyed your time in Equestria! We look forward to the next Open Server event where we hope to add even more content to the game! Please, feel free to send us your feedback on the game such as things that can be fixed or even suggestions for content to add at [email protected]. It was actually more fun this time, after completing 4 quests in a 2.5-Day-Period. With the extra two days going fast, I give my newly rating of "C".

:l Yes, the cameras are still problematic, as well as the excessive connection timeouts in which, not careful, can spawn an empty shell of your former self. :I

This was by far my worst OSW experience, but that doesn't mean it wasn't still awesome! I'd recommend ditching the room-server idea untill we get enough players to even constitute it (ive only ever seen about 100 max on each room, and moving to a new area and losing friends is NOT FUN). I'd also recommend working on the problems present rather than creating more and more areas. I'd rather not walk through houses in Ponydale or get stuck talking to an NPC. Keep up the work LoE team!

That's what i kept saying since last oswe. Splitting the necessary multiple server further into instances, or rooms as you call them, is a terrible, terrible idea.

It was fun, even though I got to play like 30 minutes, but, well, I got stuck in Crystal Empire. I couldn't travel. Hope you fix this glitch soon!  ^-^ :D <3
Still, the OSW seemed... less fun than all the other OSW's I have played. It seemed... empty. I mean, same maps, all quests complete, etc... then you get bored. I suggest you to add different things, because when you finish all the MMO things you get bored.  ;) Hope to see you in another OSW!

Hmm i read about "Open server WEEKEND" and i tohght that Sunday contains too into weekend! I was on work and waiting, when shift end at Sunday morning and go home to play, but...  ono

I enjoyed playing it, as it was my first time, but there is quite a few glicthes in the game, like sometimes I cant talk to NPC
But I pretty much excited when the servers were going to open tho  ^-^ till next time the servers open again, I'll be waiting :P

That was... The most wonderful and powerful OSW for me!! ^_^ I thought nothing could top my first OSW ever, in August last year... But friday and yesterday nights were... wow... I'm still speechless. Well, my first OSW will forever remain special to me because it was my first and it was the first time I got to feel that my "true form" was actually a pony, along meeting fellow brothers and sisters in Equestria for the first time... Nothing could top that in a way, but still, yesterday night was the first time I cried out of the sweet and caring feelings we had for each other... I couldn't be more grateful to my friends, new ones and old ones, for what they showed me. And also to everypony, who is my friend too! :D And of course, to the LoE team, for making all of that possible!! Thank you all SO much!!

See you all in Equestria next time as well! I will be eagerly awaiting the next OSW!

Well, I must say that was enjoyable. I've beta tested a few MMOs in the past, and they were nowhere near as FUN! I didn't get a chance to be on long, which is cool, since now I'm looking forward to the next OSWE.

For me, the best part was the fact that I was able to play on a MacBook Pro, and for that I thank you LoE team with all my  <3!!

Too amazing & cool in many ways this opportunity to have played LoE, moreover, as it was my first time, it was very excited & happy, unlike others ponies who have been in many times in LoE, & the best part is that many experience I had in these two days, I record for to remember in how was my first time, but, do not to be selfish & probably for the next few weeks the videos will be ready for anypony, that if, the university & my complicated family let me do it.
If anything, I heard that here are a topic where each of us puts the LoE experiences, I would like to know the topic, & once the videos are completed, I will share my experiences with all of you ponies, & also I have pictures, just in case. Some ponyassistance on where is the topic?

Thanks for all LoE developers :D ,absolutely amazing, thanks to everypony that has worked in this game. I do not care much, but sometimes the glitches, servers kicked off, some ping & other errors that I had many times, got me some stress & anger, but at least I had the most important thing: apart from playing it, the recordings & screenshots.

it was my first Osw i was scared it contained virusses because i got a few earlier but it didn´t thanks to all my friend who made me download this it was amazing i cant wait for the next one.

I had lots of fun i got done with three quests,Fought three dragons,danced on top of roof tops and in front of SCC in a circle.Maybe you could add Batponies,Crystal Ponies,and maybe more quests.

I can't WAIT for the next OSW! ;v; And Even moreso, I cannot simply wait until the servers are up 24/7 for everypony to enjoy whenever they please!

There were quite a few glitches with the pony models' tails- but i'm not upset about it, It was more funny, actually!  X3

Can't wait to see you all next time!  :P

As always, I am ever grateful for the ability to be a part of such a wondrous experience. Unfortunately, there were not as many ponies on the servers when I played. And for me (and probably many of you), the  social component is half the fun. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my quick romping session  :]

I look forward to the next event, any new content, and the players who make this game amazing! And as always, thank you to the entire LoE team for creating one of my favorite places to be on the PonyNet.  ^-^

I had a lot of fun! :D This was the best OSW i've experienced! It's also the only one. I had a lot of fun exploring the evershade, and hanging out in sugar cane corner with friends. A lot of people had trouble with the room servers, maybe teleporting to friends could fix the issues. Or being able to create parties, so that A group of friends will all be teleported to a room with room for all of them. Again, I had an amazing experience during my first OSW, and i soo can't wait for the next one!  lol

Darn it, I missed this entire open server weekend, I should have checked the LoE website regularly for updates... Oh well, hopefully we'll get another real soon.

Sadly, it disconnected a lot during this OSW... But it was still nice!  ^-^

I thank everypony who was there, helping to further develop the game experience! It was indeed very fun!  ;)

I had a lot of fun this round. Thanks for all of that. I hope the next open beta focuses on connectivity issues though.

Roseluck (on the final night)

It was especially fun to RP as Trixie.

I was able to play this time at least.

It's just... skills weren't working and I couldn't teleport even though I chose unicorn.

Missed it this time, didn't get a chance to play it at all. Even after it was updated, the Mac download didn't work for me.

I know this is a bit late, but I had a much fun time playing the game. I look forward to next time!  ^-^

Tremendous fun, despite the only-to-be-expected glitchiness; everything is better with ponies, even bugs.   :D  Very immersive and the art was lovely.

I suspect a lot of what was going on bug-wise had to do with connection dropouts putting the client into an unstable state.  Most, or perhaps all of my issues were resolved by reloading the game; not being able to equip, talk to NPCs or use certain transition objects, primarily.  I loaded the patch easily enough but I suspect from reading the comments that some folks didn't realize there was a patch or didn't know how to replace the Managed folder.

I know you had to spend a lot of resources defending yourselves from DDOS attacks this time around...  >:/  Not exactly the fun side of programming, that.

I think it may be a good idea for the OSWs to create a bug report button in the client so you can tie the reported behavior with recent logging.  I bet you're probably getting less than 1% of your bugs reported on the forums.  You'd also be able to structure the results better to get frequencies of certain known errors.

I'm going through the Unity3D tutorials now, just finished the second one... I can tell that the programming is the easy part - creating the assets on the other hand... anyway thanks for all your hard work!

I had more fun than I expected I was going to have this time. ^-^

The game isn't available so it's not going to update. Also the update launcher thing wasn't even working the last time.

Just keep an eye out for future announcements. Either check up on the forums every now and then, or follow us on our various social networks listed at the top.

I think it is necessary to download the new launcher right?

I am wondering that too. I just know in the future, the full release will come, we can play LoE anytime!  X3 ^-^ and the game will be so popular it will be on TV! heh.. X3 just a guess, but very very VERY good game! awesome graphics! and here's a request for new races in the future!!: Bat pony, CrystalPony, purr pony(cat and pony hybrid). and plus instead of the standard Pegasus wings how about alicorn wings?? bat wings?? and fairy wings! or big angel wings, you may not add it into LoE, but hat would be awesome!  ^-^ :s 0:) that's all I have to say!
