Is it possible to apply for Mod? I mean I grew to this community! I love it so much now ;-; and if so can you tell me under what category this falls? Public relations?

If there is an opening, they either  (  A ) Apply internally (secret process) or ( B ) Post a announcement on the forums.

I don't know which one they do (since being here a short time) but I haven't seen any announcement on the forum.

Well I'd be a happy pony if they could send me a message with the info of maderations. I mean if I CAN be a mod or not, just inform me

I think when they post an announcement, that they'll post a list of the requirements.
In the meantime, enjoy what the fandom has created.

The servers aren't currently running anymore (as in, they're closed).

Check back often to see when the next time the server will be open.

Did you try unzipping the ZIP file?

The loe and loe_Data file should be in the same folder.

If not, try re-downloading it and try again.

If that doesn't work, torrent the file and repeat the necessary steps.

Maybe I can shed some light into the situation.

The forums uses the default encoding of UTF-8, which includes support for Cyrillic symbols.

However, you only get ? right?

It's (most likely, from what I can gather from other forums) that the OS is having trouble recognizing the characters (since it uses a different character encoding than UTF-8)

If that is the case, then downloading the Russian Language support pack for the OS should solve the problem.

Everything that I can gather suggests that it is the OS and not the forum itself.

It was opened for the alpha testing (until 4am EST today).

I'm sorry for the trouble that you are having.

First:

You'll have to press the windows key and r at the same time. Type appdata press enter then once it loads open LocalLow and delete the LoE folder. This will reset LoE back to default settings and should fix the small menu.

Second, the server was under huge demands so the only way to login was to keep trying to log in. Eventually you'll get in. Just be patient.

I didn't need to run with admin privileges in order to get it to work.

Something else is at play.

Apparently, something happened in PHP that caused the page to break.

Try clearing your cache and since it happened once, i don't expect it to happen again anytime soon.

Can  confirm that the KB size is not an issue (uploaded a 4K desktop background no trouble at all).

    Access is denied.

That's likely a browser issue. Your download is still downloading or has been corrupted mid download due to a network issue. You'll have to try downloading it again or see if it's still downloading already. Also if you're on windows 7 or 8 a lot of things can't be edited easily in your documents folders.

Like Trege said, it is most likely still downloading (since when you are done downloading, it should end in a zip file and not 580. Try redownloading it again and once it is done, you shouldn't have to do anything to the naming the file, just run it.

Essentially, what you are telling the computer is to take a file (while it's still being downloaded) and changing the file type (which most likely causes the access error).

Taken from another thread:

Try right-clicking the loe program and select  "Troubleshoot Compatibility." It should then prompt you to Troubleshoot the program (select option 2) then select "The program opens but doesn't display correctly". Finally test the recommended settings and see if that fixes your problem.

Strange, I have Windows 8 and it installed without any trouble (torrent).

Explain to me why you think that it isn't compatable?
