AFAIK, you can do whatever you want, there will no doubt be videos of gameplay posted on youtube at some point this weekend, unless I hear differently.
But really, just downloading the game and being on the server will help the team, that's the true point of the stress test.

Of course. If there was any issues your antivirus(I assume you have one) would see an issue anyways.
Erm, well, then again, avast seems to think my VB program is a virus and I had to add an exception to get it out of the "sandbox". I Lol'd, I think i'd know if my own program was a virus....
ooh, off topic, I re-installed windows XP on my "laptop"Spoiler: Remember my Laptop? show
So I should be able to install VB on it and continue programming!(Considering for whatever reason VB's dll files aren't compatible with Windows 7...)

If you download it straight from the site there shouldn't be any problems

You can't have too many OCs, it's like putting a cap on how imaginative you can be.
With that said... they all suffer from "too much". I never was a fan of ponies wearing a lot of clothes and all your OCs are wearing Vests and the whole 9 yards. Their personalities do seem a bit focused on a specific personality trait, but you can get by with that if you play your cards right.
I do like the variety you've provided, though.
I happen to have 4 right now, with two more in development, in an attempt to make my own personal mane 6, if you wanted to know.

Heh... I created too many... didn't I?
No. I have 32 Ocs.

what's amusing is that "serious" and "laid-back" are very mixed on this forum you'll have informal RPs filled with fighting and duels, while having extremely formal, serious RPs that forbid any fighting and strictly utilize diplomacy and ingenuity to solve problems.
I hope to see you over at Silverdale Saga, Royal Academy of Magic, Before Equestria and Pony Cosmology if you are interested If you like, I also hope you can take a look at Legend of the Cursed Moon of the Sea, P&S Adventures and other RPs

i hope you have a nice time here!

Then I'll look forward to seeing you in my rps at some point if you choose!

perhaps I might invite you to take a look at the RPs I personally GM? Pony Cosmology, Before Equestria, P&S Adventures, and Royal Academy of Magic; there is also Silverdale Saga for advanced RPers, and of course all the jump-ins for just plain fun/relaxation/informal

oh that's quite all right! What kinds of roleplays do you prefer? We have all sorts here!

hello and welcome to the forums I hope you can stick around after the stress test, and maybe while we wait for the beta. Do you roleplay?

I would imagine you won't have a problem with running the game with this system.
LOE isn't that powerful of a game
yet
If a dev could confirm that i'd love that, but...
Edit:Just noticed your other thread Swebow already posted in
Quote from: LaptopCommandStation on 2012 Sep 24, 20:41:04
What hardware are you currently running?

However... well... I don't think I can. The recommendations call for a dual-core processor and the computer I want to play it on does not have that. It has 4GB of RAM which is good because my other computer only has 2GB of RAM. But... it looks like I won't be able to play the game because I don't have a dual core processor...Quote from: SweBow on 2012 Sep 24, 12:01:53Quote from: Rainbowe on 2012 Sep 23, 21:20:16
Will you be able to adjust the quality? My computer is really bad and I think it could possibly overheat, cause it did that with other games I had that have quality like that.
Do not worry. We manage to get the game running on an Intel Atom computer. It worked... not good, but it worked.
The Intel Atom Processor can range from 600 MHz to 2.13 GHz, judging by Swebow's context I believe the processor they used was on the lower end of that range. I wouldn't think you'd have any issues running LoE, depending on what CPU/GPU you run, idk.
BTW, where do you see recommended specs, I don't remember seeing any here?
