Here's a thread to talk about anything dogs!

I love dogs, and my brothers are the only other ones in the family who do. Well, my dad likes Mastiffs because they're huge, and some other breed that was bred for fighting.

We're thinking of getting a couple of Golden Retrievers when we get property. My little brother's will be called Scout, and mine will be Voulk (Russian for wolf). I really can't wait!

I love certain dogs.
I loved the last dog we had.  He was an American Eskimo.  He was VERY hyper and always seemed to find a way off his chain, which was how he passed away.  I wish I was home enough to take care of a pet then I would go get a dog like this

But anyways, I absolutely love dogs. Last month when we visited my aunt for Thanksgiving, I spent the entire day playing with her dogs. I hardly talked to anybody. xD That was fun. And whenever I see someone walking their dog(s), I absolutely have to look at it and guess what breed or mix it is in my head, . Not that I'm any sort of expert, I forget breed names all of the time.

I own a silky terrier mix who doesn't play with toys due to how her previous owners brought her up. I love her to death and I'll never, ever replace her, but it does make me yearn for a dog I can play with. So one day when I can afford it, I plan on getting another dog (most likely labrador retriever). Then we shall go to a dog friendly park and play fetch for hours and hours and live happily ever after.
