FFX-2 is really fun, playing it nowadays, but it has a lot of fan service aimed at boys and i still don't get the story, there's this giant weapon that can destroy the world but wasn't used against the big bad of FFX because... why? I still don't get it.

Each Final Fantasy game is a completely different game so it really doesn't matter which one you start with.
