The Off-Topic forum has been really quiet lately, so a random question popped in my head...
Coca-Cola or Pepsi?
Keep the arguments sound and peaceful please, people will always have a different opinion.
Personally, I enjoy my Coca-Cola, it has a sharper and sweet taste; compared to the smooth sweet taste of a Pepsi. The Vanilla Coke brand isn't that bad either.
Coca-Cola all the way
Vanilla Coca-Cola is pretty good... But I also love the smooth Pepsi taste, too.
But if I had to choose one, I would probably choose Coca-Cola.
It be coke for me I like vanilla and cherry coke, and sometimes normal. Pepsi causes me stomach problems. :c
I detest both ^-^
They taste completely different but I don't bother to choose. Which one is easier to get or is nearer I take it.
I prefer Coke. At family gatherings at my nanna and papa's house, I end up having to drink Pepsi, so I tolerate it, but I don't like it as much as Coke. Coke is the kind of soda I can drink every day, sometimes switching it up with Cherry Coke. I like Dr. Pepper too, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to me like the kind of soda I could drink every day.
1)YOU HAVE VANILLA COKE IN THE STATES!?! My sister will HATE that, we haven't seen it in years here
2)I prefer coke, if not because of my dad being addicted to it, because it would be more awkward inviting friends over for rum and Pepsi....

Yeah, it was discontinued, only to return a year or two later in the United States.

Coke with Lime, however... has been reduced to its only availability being Diet Coke with Lime. :'( And even then, I don't think I've seen any of that lately.
I think if they had put more lime flavoring in the Coke with Lime, it would've gotten more sales and I would've liked it even more.
Either one is fine by me.

While this is a coke vs pepsi debate I'll have to say nothing will beat Jones Soda. That stuff is so sugar loaded that's exactly why I like it
However at $1.80 a bottle i'll just stick to my usual diet of coffee, more coffee, water with crystal light and the occasional aforementioned relaxing beverage that requires Coke, which I am currently enjoying waiting to see if anyone wants to talk to me tonight :).
I just realized a coffee costs $1.80 as well.....I made my OWN argument invalid..../facepalm
I used a big word correctly!

Yeah, I don't see Pibb Xtra around much at all. Then again, I don't pay a whole lot of attention in the drink aisle.
Disregarding my previous hyperbolic display, I will say, with arrogant levels of certainty, that Jones soda is, beyond most shadows of maybe a few doubts, the best soda this side, or any of the two sides for that matter, of the Mississippi.

Let's bring science into this. Because science. Not just science.. But Woona Science.. Because I'm Science Woona... DON'T JUDGE ME.
Lets start with acidity
Coca-Cola has a PH of 2.525
While Pepsi has a PH of 2.530
MEANING... well, not much. The .05 difference doesn't actually affect much, they can both kill a fish and insects. Thats about it.
They also have corrosion stuff and blah blah.
Coke has a lower PH by .05 (Celestia forbid the next soda is .001 PH lower)
DENSITY!
Coke = 1.03 ± 0.21 g/mL
Pepsi = ... why am I even doing this, density wouldn't effect anything..
Flavor
According to Woona's Law (thats a law now)
If one physical item attracts a Woona more than others, proven by science, shows that Woona likes this object more. However, if such object is forced upon a Woona, the above statement is void. According to the law, the Woona will simply repel such object and have an attraction toward the proper object. Thus showing the attraction of the Woona and the object.
I performed this experiment and each time the Woona was attracted to the Coca-Cola
I once replaced it by replacing the coke with pepsi and the pepsi with coke. The Woona repelled it from her mouth and immediately made an attraction with the Coca-Cola. So according to science, Coca-Cola is better.Spoiler: Also these other awesome scientists did this with diet coke show

I took a survey that told me it was gonna be about soda, but it turned out to be about Pepsi. o_O It started out with general questions about all kinds of soda, and when I expressed that I dislike Pepsi, it transitioned into questions that basically make me feel that Pepsi is trying to figure out how to start advertising better to get more people to want to drink Pepsi.
Mehhh. The advertising they pitched to me in the survey didn't really get me. X3

I once replaced it by replacing the coke with pepsi and the pepsi with coke. The Woona repelled it from her mouth and immediately made an attraction with the Coca-Cola. So according to science, Coca-Cola is better.
Spoiler: Also these other awesome scientists did this with diet coke show
What's a woona?

Fandom reference to Luna's "cute" form. When spoken in a foalish tone, the "L" slurs into a "W", thus "woona".
Coka-cola obviously, anyone who says otherwise is a heretic, and thus their opinions don't count.
I've been downing Vanilla Coke all this week, so...
SPRITE!
...Any is fine for me, actually.
COCA COLAAA!!! :D :D
Please avoid spamming emotes
i'm a mtn dew guy but if i had to choose..........i'd mix both of them to mekr coca-pepsi!

It has less sugar and tastes better.
And it's made in Slovenia.
Which do I prefer?
Well, my wife drinks Coke pretty religiously, and I prefer to stay married... ipso-facto, I prefer Coke.

Lol.
I prefer Coke Zero or just regular Coca-Cola. Depends what feel I like drinking at the time.
Is Dr. Pepper an option?
Pepsi, always and forever (and maybe some Dr. Pepper)
Sarsaparilla.
You guys aren't very good at answering the question correctly. You've got two options here, and yet, you're bringing in new variables that were not even offered in the beginning! x3
Pepsi
Vanilla Coke>Pepsi>Coca-Cola

THIS IS BAIT!
mountain dew voltage
this is a pepsi product
I once saw a Bloom County comic on this very subject. At the end they reach the conclusion that "both taste like malted battery acid", and I admit, I would have to agree. But were I to choose my poison, I would say Pepsi. I think. :s
Pepsi because..... Coke has like 45 packs of sugar per can..
For the Question of the 2 given options: Pepsi.
On further elaboration: I like Vanilla Coke better than Pepsi, but nothing beats IRN BRU!!
IRN BRU is also supported by Vampires: The Masquerade - Dont get in the face of an IRN BRUjah! lol
Pour both in the same cup.

Which soda taste better? Pepsi or Coke?
They taste the same.
Well, here in my country Coke is more common for everyone than Pepsi so I grew liking more coke

As someone who drinks Coke a lot but usually has to drink Pepsi when I visit my grandparents, I can honestly say they do not taste the same. I like Coke better than Pepsi.
Pepsi tastes a little different, but just enough for it to be different enough.
Or maybe I just have super sensitive taste buds. Could explain why pure peppermint taste overwhelms and sometimes hurts me.
@Chishio Kunrin
Well, I'm in a household where there's a coke vs. pepsi war... They're always like, "How could you say they taste the same??? Pepsi is soooooo much sweeter!" and whatnots. So they must be different but they both just taste like cola to me T.T
I like Pepsi it's has a sweet taste than coke...
Coffee.
I'm not really one for carbonated sugar water.

Coke for me, but if there's something I love, its when we have Julmust in sweden ovO

((Its just like Coke and Pepsi, except its christmas themed X3))
Outside of coke and pepsi, I really like the sprecher's sodas. Honestly, better than both.... they're just more expensive.
Coca- cola all the way...

I have drinked both and I beg to differ. I even mixed them up together one time and tested the strongness of Pepsi and the smoothness of Coke.
Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I prefer Coke. Unlike Pepsi whenever I drink it; it doesn't make my eyes water.
Vanilla Coca-Cola. I once had an entire 5 days alone in my quaint little summer house in New Hampshire and I had the ultimate party plan involving Vanilla Coke I bought myself. But right before everyone else left for the 5 days, everyone drinks my Coke! I was so infuriated with all of them and they just left! >:O
