Well, in a video of the upcoming EG and MLP toys, they revealed some details about what Equestria Girls 3 is gonna be about and gave a tiny spoiler.
(I also spotted a tinier spoiler in the actual pony section of the presentation.)
EG3 is looking pretty interesting, but right now, I can't say for sure if I'm gonna be hyped about it or not.

Oh I do hope you are right. This would be such a great way to introduce her character. The potential is all over the place, and it is kind of like a call back to the pony world in that Twilight wouldn't think making friends is important to her life. (Unless the Shadow Bolts happen to be a friend team, I don't know.) I also like the Shadow Bolts being like the originals from Episode 2. They worked for Luna and a nightmare Twilight. It's all so very exciting!

Hasn't Principal Hugelegs Celestia learned her lesson about hosting events like this by now? Canterlot's taxpayers can't be too happy about the untold damage to school property they keep having to fund repairs for...
After a short conversation with Trege, we've come to a conclusion about the plot, and since we might be right, this is possible spoiler material.
[spoiler][spoiler][spoiler]Human Twilight is friends with the Shadowbolts, and they're really mean and a bad influence, so they cause her to be mean, too. It shows how being friends with the wrong kind of people can influence you and cause you to become the wrong kind of person.
This also explains why she apparently becomes Midnight Sparkle toward the end of the movie, like that lady in the video said. Human world Twilight
is the antagonist! The past two movies, the antagonists have had transformations during the climax of the movie! Sunset Shimmer turned into a demon, and the Dazzlings powered up to have wings and pony ears and then summoned astral projections of their siren forms. The fact that human world Twilight will have a transformation toward the end shows that
she is the antagonist of the movie! 
Does this mean pony world Twilight will come to the human world to help the rest of the human mane six save the day?!
Edit: Orrrr... Will Sunset Shimmer have to band together with the other five to save the day?!
I'd love that! In Rainbow Rocks, she got a pony power-up, so we know she can do it!

Reading everyone's thoughts just makes me want this movie more. I don't think I'm spoiling anything by saying this movie looks like it will be more epic than the first two. 0:) Though I did like the 2nd one a lot.

I think the problem for Flash is that pony Twilight permanently lives in the pony world and rarely comes to visit. He's never gonna get to have a real relationship with her, since they don't even stay in contact. He even showed that he misses her by asking if she was gonna show up in the beginning of Rainbow Rocks.
However, human Twilight on the other hand permanently lives in the human world. If they get together, they'll actually always be around and have a foreseeable future together.
Remember guys, human flash and pony twilight fall in love for not reasonable reason and they can't be together anyways, stay with the human twilight is the most reasonable thing to do, supposing she fall in love of him as her ponyself :v

That is strange, how do you bring that romance out. Like, Flash can't just walk up and try to be 'friendly' without human Twilight getting frightened by his sudden advance. It's strange. But I guess it's okay because pony Twilight was crushing on pony Flash at the same time so . . . yeah, this got even more awkward.

The bump into thing is adorable, but it was kind of a "I suddenly have a crush on you for little reason" thing. Though, I really applaud them for not having Twilight be like girls typically are in high school movies/shows where the only thing she would be able to think about at all times is Flash. When he's around, she gets adorably awkward. When he's not, she gets back to business and focuses on stopping evil. I like that. Girls in real life don't become mindless zombies when they get a crush on a boy, so why should girls in movies and TV shows become that?
I do believe in long distance relationships, but so far, Twilight hasn't really held up the "relationship" part of "long distance relationship." If she had, Flash would've just asked her if she was gonna visit for the musical showcase instead of going to the human world mane five and asking them. He misses her and apparently doesn't have contact with her while she's in the pony world.
Honestly, the only way I'll really be okay with Flash switching to human Twilight is if he, pony Twilight, and human Twilight all three mutually agree on it.

Spoiler: Strange Idea • show i had a strange idea that i don't completely agree on but...
what if Human Flash & Pony Flash switch places? its not like Human Flash has much of a strong connection to the Human world (as far as i can tell) aside from his crew/band mates who could come along with him besides the Portal is open as far as i can tell so...
but i can't think of why Pony Flash would leave Equestria
just think about it though it could be like that certain Disney movie :3
I'm actually looking forward to EG3, which is awkward to say but there ya go. Will be interesting to see how Josh Haber's writing turns out. I expect the movie to be good, but I doubt it can top Rainbow Rocks since that one had a musical theme and thus played to the strengths of the studio.
As for spoilery stuff... O:
I actually don't mind if human Flash falls for human Twilight. Never liked that a mere 5 minutes after pony Twi had a huge panic attack upon seeing her new body, she falls for one of these strange and terrifying creatures. Might even be the other way around; human Twi coming onto Flash on account of her different friends giving her a very different personality.
In regard to Midnight Sparkle, that sounds pretty cool. Almost like if Twilight had betrayed Celestia and joined forces with Nightmare Moon, ha! The idea of an evil Twilight gives me new hope that maybe,
just maybe, Friendship Games could have a chance to top Rainbow Rocks.
One thing I'm hoping for is that in the end Midnight Sparkle gets redeemed and joins the Mane6 at CHS, thereby completing the group and maybe... Sunset Shimmer will consider returning to Equestria permanently? As Twilight's student or something. And she'd feature in the main series from time to time.
PS: I hope there's at least one song in Friendship Games that is actually performed by the Rainbooms. X3
This is why I personally think EG movie series really has nothing to do with FiM with all the tweak and changes of the characters and randomness story lines wrapped around music playing humanoid pony's... Yeah, I really don't care where this derailed train is going...
Plus no soccer? Well then again they did not play any soccer other then when Twilight and Rainbow Dash played really... Maybe they cancelled it due to the budget cuts from the repairs from Sunset Shimmer demon tantrum?
I just want to see where DJ-Pon3 (aka Vinyl Scratch) is going in the EG series, I mean at least they did a good job with the short "Music to my Ears"

That doesn't really have anything to do with Equestria Girls 3. There's a thread (http://forum.legendsofequestria.com/index.php?topic=13654.0) about season 5 that you can discuss it in.
Also, remember to put spoilers in spoiler tags. Details of the episodes are spoilers until two days after their release.
I don't think we have a specific time requirement for the movies, but I'd personally say a few more days than that after the movie's release, since not everyone can see the movies within the first two or three days of them hitting theaters. That, and sometimes the movies only release in a small amount of theaters.

and about Sunset Shimmer returning "Permanently" i am pretty sure i already heard many others say that her place is with the others back in CHS but they would like her to go to Equestria in a few episodes since the portal is now freely open and also your the 2nd person i met to say Sunset Shimmer would be Twilight's Student...but Sunset Shimmer has proven she is pretty smart and well rounded in magic already and maybe a complete match for Twilight as a Unicorn but since shes an Alicorn thats another story and i personally prefer a tag team against an immovable foe cause tag teams are awesome :3

Spoiler: Since the trailer is finally out i think i'm gonna say something here! • show In the season 5 prim trailer we see Starlight Glimmer which some thought was Aria Dazzle and i thought it was somepony related to Diamond Tiara.
Now! in the Equestria Girls Friendship Games trailer we see someone that looks like Suri but some think its Starlight Glimmer.

I don't like Equestria Girls so much, but, after Rainbow Rocks, I was really curious about the real human Twilight.

Looking at those pictures, I just now realized that it seems Hasbro's advertisements of the Shadowbolts dolls are different from what they're actually going to look like in the movie. I mean, more different than it is with the mane six.

I loved the Unleash the Magic song. It sounded amazing, and it really had a sinister feel to it, and I love the way it built up with Twilight's part.
The way Twilight screamed when the magic fully enveloped her gave me a really serious feeling, though. :I And she was crying as it overwhelmed her, just like how Sunset cried when the Element of Magic overwhelmed her.
I like how Sugarcoat was brutally honest. "Sugarcoat" is a term meaning that you make a harsh truth sound less harsh, but Sugarcoat didn't sugarcoat anything she said. lol
Sour Sweet had a rather interesting personality quirk, as well. Fake kindness, then rudeness.[/spoiler]

Like I mentioned somewhere else, I liked parts of this movie: it was better than the first one but not as good as the second in my eyes. "Unleash the Magic" and the climax are definitely the high points, but the rest of it was...meh, I guess. I'd have loved to see more signs of Crystal Prep students being almost controlled by Cinch's overbearing, like we saw with human Twilight. It seemed like the students had an honest hatred for Canterlot High, despite the fact that none of them (barring those held back) would have that kind of deep personal conflict with them...it made the switch at the end a little rushed for my tastes.
That, and the fact that school and sports-based competitions mean pretty much nothing for me. I never got the sense of school pride just because of my interests, so a big portion of the movie's emotional investment just didn't resonate. Still had fun with it though.

the only things that i disliked would be that one Crystal Prep student who told Twilight not to trust in Applejacks help even though she was the only one helping her at the time so she most likely shouldn't be talking unless she herself would help Twilight besides its in there best interest given there on the same team anyways, unlike others the change of heart that the Crystal Prep students had sorta made sense to me given it went farther then the "semi friendly" competition between there two schools, well i was watching the transformation moment i honestly thought we would see Phoenix Sunset Shimmer but instead we got another new Transformation that seems almost "godly" with a clash of magical beams instead of what i had in my head at the time where Sunset Shimmer would be dodging Midnight sparkles magical beams until a certain point, still loved the ending none the less given how emotional it was
Whole movie was great! I especially loved the final battle with
Midnight Sparkle and
Daydream Shimmer. Also, AJ helping Twilight with the archery was adorable.

i'm shocked they would cut anything that has Sunset Shimmer in it so yes i totally agree besides the first part of the song still sorta gets on my nerves for some reason, with Sunset Shimmer being in it as a duet i really could have just ignored that part
