Terminal station, Ponyville, evening

The station entrance is buzzing with activity as you trot in, preparing to catch the last train to Canterlot.

Meanwhile, elsewhere...

A young blue unicorn sits with her back against a wall. She's dressed in the Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns uniform, a cannon-like object levitating in her magical grip.

"I just... put it to my head..." she gasps, putting the cannon directly under her horn, the letters S.E.E.S. reflecting in the light of the setting sun. "And pull the trigger... no chickening out..." The unicorn squeezes her eyes shut, her magical grip slowly tightening on the trigger. The cannon begins to shake, until finally, it drops to the floor. "No... I can't!"

Inside the passenger train "Friendship Express"...

You are now preparing yourself to disembark in Canterlot, as an announcement is played over the PA system.

"Due to a malfunction in the switching system, today's rail schedule has been greatly altered. We apologize to any customers who were in a hurry. The next stop is the Academic District of Canterlot..."

30 minutes later

"The Academic District," the PA system announces as the train pulls up into the station. "This is the final train bound for Canterlot Central. Please take care to board before our departure."

Due to the delay, you arrived late. There are only seconds left till midnight.

1...
Midnight.

The lights in the station, along with every other device running off of electricity, suddenly turns off, casting you into an eerie, green, twilight. Something about the atmosphere seems odd, yet you can't quite put your hoof on what. It would probably be best to hurry to the dorm.

As you trot from the station, you notice coffin-like objects lining the deserted city. You lift your gaze to the moon, towering over head, and glowing with an eerie yellowish-green light. You decide to hurry to the dorm, putting the appearance of the moon out of your mind.

10 minutes later

You arrive at the Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, Academic dorm. This is the dorm mentioned in your admission pamphlet. Upon entering, you are greeted with a high, amused voice.

"Welcome." You turn towards the source, finding a young colt, about 15 years old standing before you. He is incredibly pale with a near white coat, blue eyes and a blue mane and tail. "You're late," he continued, with an eerie grin. "I've been waiting a long time."

The unknown colt is holding a piece of paper out to you...

"If you want to proceed, then please sign here. It's a contract," the colt explained. "There's no need to be scared. It only binds you to accepting full responsibility for your actions."

You look closely at the paper he's holding out to you, reading the words written on the page. 'I chooseth this fate of mine own free will.' Below the words is a blank to sign your name, which you now do.

"...Very well," the colt says, as he takes the paper back. "Time is something no one can escape. It delivers us all to the same end. Wishing won't make it go away." His smile morphs into something akin to a predatory grin. "And so it begins..." With those final words, the unknown colt disappeared, as if melting into the darkness, his grin being the last thing to vanish.

"Who's there!?" a voice cries out behind you. You turn and find a blue unicorn filly, her mouth agape, and eyes wide. "How can you be... But it's...! Wait... Don't tell me..."

The filly is holding something that looks like a miniature cannon in her telekinetic grip, slowly being brought up...

"Wait!" another voice called, stopping the cannon's course. Another pony trotted down the stairs, this one a purple alicorn, obviously the princess of friendship herself, Princess Twilight Sparkle. The lights suddenly come back on, prompting you to momentarily shield your eyes.

"The lights..." the filly's voice breathes in relief.

Princess Twilight turns to you. "I didn't think you'd arrive so late. As I'm sure you already know, my name is Twilight Sparkle. I'm one of the teachers who live in and supervises this dorm."

"Who's (s)he?" the blue filly asks, shifting nervously from hoof to hoof.

"(S)He's a transfer student. It was a last minute decision to assign him/her here," Twilight explained. "(S)He'll eventually be moved to a room in the normal dorm."

The blue filly bites her lip. "Is it okay for him/her to be here?"

"I guess we'll see," Twilight replies, chuckling to herself. She turns back to you. "This is Blue Star. She'll be a junior this spring, just like you."

"...Hi, I'm Blue Star, but you can call me Blue." Blue says, a smile forming on her face.

Your eyes shift down to the cannon, now resting on the floor. You decide to ask the obvious question. "Why do you have a cannon?"

Blue's eyes go wide. "Huh? Um, well, it's sorta like a hobby... Well, not a hobby, but..."

"You know how it is these days..." Twilight cut in. "It's for self-defense when magic fails. It's not a real cannon, of course. It's getting late. You'll find your room on the 3rd floor. Your things should already be there. I suggest you tuck in for the night."

"Oh, I'll show you the way," Blue speaks up, her smile returning to her face. "Follow me."



Dormitory, 3rd floor hallway, in front of door...

"Welp, here we are," Blue says as she stops in front of a door. She then turns back to you. "So, any questions?"

There is one question in your mind at the moment. "Does that colt live here?"

"What are you talking about?" Blue asks, raising an eyebrow.

You decide to just drop the question, since she obviously doesn't know what you're talking about.

"Um, can I ask you something?" she asks. You nod in response. "On your way here from the station, was everything okay?"

You raise your eyebrow. "What do you mean?" you ask in response.

"You know what I--" she cuts herself off. "...Never mind. It seems like you're alright. Well, I'd better get going..." She turns and starts down the hallway, then pauses and turns back to you. "Um... I'm sure you still have other questions, but let's save them for later, okay? Good night." Blue then trots down the stairs.

You now turn back to your room, enter it, and fall on top of your bed, instantly falling asleep.

((Alright! The first post of the RP! This post is in the second person view, so that I could describe the opening in a mysterious way, without giving away too much info. Now, those of you with the Fool arcana, that would be me and blobking, will be woken up by Blue the next morning, and will officially meet each other as we get ready to go to school. Everyone else will be met at the school. So, wait for Grizzly to post how her character comes to wake you up, then you can post.))

Morning began and you hear a knock from your door. "Morning, you up yet?" Blue called, she didn't wait for an answer, opened the door and walked in. "Princess Twilight send me to take you to class, you ready to go?" She asked and smiled.

((something like this? If its not ok i'll do an edit))

"Mrngh" i groan, getting out of bed, and bonk my head, and that makes me wake up comepletely. i stand up, and almost forget my uniform! never really had to wear clothes before, but now i do. so, i put on mt tie, and blazer (?), and open the door.

Dusk is awoken by a thump from next door, followed by a knocking on your door.

i also head downstairs, and meet everybody. Still groggy, i sit down on a selection of couches. "Mrr... Do we get breakfast?"

Twilight chuckled from her position in the dining room. "Believe me Blob, it's times like this that I wish Spike had come with me to Canterlot. I'm afraid you'll have to get something on your way to school. Speaking of which, you should probably get going if you don't want to miss the train. Oh, and don't bother going to the faculty office to meet your homeroom teacher, since you met her last night, and are talking to her right now."

Dusk quietly took a seat across from Blob, as the two waited for Blue to get downstairs.

"So, i had the craziest sleep-deprived daydream. You know the mare that woke us up? yeah, she had some sort of cannon thing. but at least i got sleep. it was like, midnight when i got here."

"Um, Blob," Dusk replies. "That wasn't a dream. That was real."

A moment later Blue walked down the stairs and stood next to Twilight. "Ok, guys, we have like 5 minutes to get to the train, so we better hurry. If you're hungry you can buy something in the school's buffet." She explained and put on a saddlebag which was lying in an near by chair and  waited at the door for the two.

Dusk nods, picking up his own saddlebag, and going to the door.

Blob grabbed his bag too, and quickly became less tired, as he started walking outside.

"Heh, gotta admire his drive for food." Dusk chuckled as he followed alongside Blue.

Blue giggled at the remark and galloped on, they boarded the train in the last possible moment, the door closing behind them and leaving for the school grounds. "Huff, close call there." she giggled again.

"No doubt," Dusk agreed, watching the city pass by in a blur. Say, what exactly can we expect at the school? I've had a few experiences with exceptionally odd teachers."

"Well, we can expect teachers, and paper, and desks, and learning, and things of the sort."

"Well..." Blue giggled and looked around then whispered to the two. "We do have a few oddball teachers."

((and now we need a teacher to be standing behind her to make this scene complete XD))

*Ahem* The trio turn to find an orange unicorn standing behind them.

((Ask and you shall receive. Meet Professor Spell Nexus. Professor of Ancient Runes (basically the stern Japanese literature teacher in Persona 3)))

After hearing the professor's voice Blue's face had a half worried, half 'busted' expression, she turned to him and smiled nervously. "Um... G-Good morning, professor Nexus..." She said half whispering.

"And a good morning to you Miss Star." He said, distaste clearly dripping in his voice. His eyes dart between the two transfer students, taking them in. "Well, it would seem we have two new students. Let me make something crystal clear before we arrive at the school. I am a pony of very few wants. Among those wants is the respect and cooperation of my students. Do as directed, and give myself, as well as my fellow professors, the respect we deserve, and we'll get along just fine." With that, the middle-aged professor turned back to the text book he was studying.

"Whew, talk about a creepy, ice king of a teacher." Dusk said, careful to keep his voice under the Professor's range of hearing.

Blue's ears flopped down and she sighed. "Guess who's getting extra homework in Ancient runes..." She whispered with a saddened voice as the train stopped. "Welp, this is our stop, let's go guys..." She sighed again and exited the train.

The trio step out of the train, quickly making their way to the school while avoiding Professor Nexus at all cost. They eventually walked up to the intricate gate of the 2 story building serving as the Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns high school campus.

A young colt walks past them, a first year blue had probably seen him around the school though they never really talked. His cutie mark was strange too a pony's skull should be unusual to be discovered at such a young age. J notices the two new ponies and looks towards them You're new here? Never seen you around. He says What's your name? I'm Flaxem but everypony refers to me as J anyways.

Mage Heart made sure he had everything he needed.

Yup, all of the necessary supplies were there.

He headed off.

Once he arrived at school, he saw something that he doesn't normally see. A slightly small group of ponies in front of the entrance. He approached the group.

"Are all of you new students? If so... allow me to be the first to welcome you. So welcome!! Maybe we'll see each other in class? By the way... my name's Mage Heart. You can just call me Mage if you want to. Anyway... I'd better be going. You get lectured if you're late so make sure you're on time too!!" suggested Mage and, assuming no pony said anything to him, he headed off towards the school and towards class.

Yeah, ithink that maybe there might be an opening-year lecture anyway..

Flying up to the school entrance is a moonlight colored pony with a dark mane and tail that has a silver lightning bolt streak in it.

She flies up to the group, landing once there, and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Excuse me. Is this the school for gifted unicorns? I have been trying all morning to find it.[/glow]"

She seams a bit lost but also a bit more knowledgeable about certain things. She waits patiently for their reply while also constantly looking at her digital watch.

Interestin. yes this is, but you're a pegasus.

Midnight nods, "[glow=navy,2,300]I am. My name is Midnight Aurora, but my friends just call me Aurora. As for you thing about me being a Pegasus, even we pegasi have need for a few of the classes here. They help us better understand our own weather magic. I am also studying an old Pegasus magic method. it hard to explain right now. Thanks for the help. Did you transfer as well? If so I guess we will be seeing more of each other in the time to come. I guess I got lucky today. cya in class, if we share some of the same classes. Bye for now.[/glow]"

With that Aurora heads off inside first to the school office and then to the cafeteria for a bite to eat. after her meal and if no one else interacts with her she heads off to her first class, trying to be a few minutes early.

Another student, this time a pegasus, talked to the group behind Mage. He was going to say something to this pony as well, but, it looked like this pony had everything figured out, so, he left this pony alone.

With no pony saying anything to him, Mage entered the school as well and began heading to class and wouldn't stop until either he reached and entered the classroom or somepony came up and talked to him.

Bye! see you later, maybe.

"Oh, so many transfer students this year, weird..." She said to herself with a surprised expression on her face and tilted her head. "Anyway, there's a board that says what class everypony is in the entrance hall, so we should check that out, and you new students should then check the faculty office, to see who's your head teacher." She explained and walked in the building, studying the board.

Blue smiled at Dusk. "Yup. And, we have the best homeroom teacher." She giggled. "Do you want to go to the faculty office, or directly to class?" she asked.

"Actually, I heard others talking about some sort of start of year speech from the headteacher. We should probably go to the auditorium," Dusk replied.

Blue blushed a bit "Oh, right, forgot about that." She giggled. "Let's go." She walked off in the direction of the auditorium, most likely followed by Dusk. She walked in the large room and sat down on one of the chairs there, waiting for the speech to start.

Mage looked at the class schedule and noticed that he would be in Class 2-Fa this year. He never got any of those other ponies names...

"Oh well. I'll find out if they're in my class or not when class starts" thought and realized Mage.

Then... Mage seemed to remember something... and a sweatdrop appeared on the back of his head.

"Oh... right... they always have a speech before the school year starts. Guess I'd better head off then before I get lectured for being late..." thought and decided Mage as he made his way to the auditorium.

He looked around. Yup. He saw the ponies that were in front of the school. However, he decided to just leave them be and took a seat in one of the chairs a few rows behind the familiar ponies he saw in front of the school and waited for the speech to begin.

((I'm gonna take control of your OC for this next scene, Grizzly. Just letting you know now))

"...That concludes the main portion of today's assembly." All the students were now sitting in the auditorium, listening to the start of term notices, as well as a very long winded speech from Professor Spell Nexus on the importance of listening to instructions. "Next," the student on stage continued. "We'll hear a few words from the headteacher. Please welcome Princess Twilight Sparkle."

"Thank you." Twilight said, as she took the podium, summoning a stack of note cards, and organizing them in preparation for her speech.

"So she did plan a speech," Blue commented to Dusk. "Well... I suppose it is to be expected, especially after it was sprung on her last year... Plus everypony found her really encouraging last year.

"You can say that again! the colt sitting on Blue's other side agreed. "There's like some kinda aura around her... Besides, she used to be Princess Celestia's student, right?"

It was right at that moment that Twilight cleared her throat. "As we begin this new school year, I'd like to share with you my vision for this coming year. It is my firm belief that each of us must accept the responsibility of bettering our school. However, change cannot occur without sustained effort and an unprecedented level of commitment. That is why we must restructure our daily lives to accommodate this lofty goal. I'd like each of you to dig deeply into your well of motivation, and re-evaluate your convictions, to imagine a bold new future without losing sight of the realities around you. That is the key. I am certain that many of you have your own visions of the future. For us to reap the full benefits of our education, your participation, ideas, and enthusiasm are essential. Thank you." With that, the purple alicorn spread her wings, and teleported off of the stage.

The colt on Blue's other side gave a low whistle. "Dang... That was freakin' amazing...! Did either of you understand what she was saying?"

"Of course we did!" Dusk hissed to the colt.

"Huh? Seriously? Man, you're smart...

"If you found that difficult to understand, how exactly did you get into this school?" Blue asked, eyebrow raised.

"Transferred in last year. Name's Sharp Spear." Sharp Spear explained, while extending a hoof in greeting.

((Returning control of Blue to you Grizzly))

Blue just rolled her eyes as she accepted the hoof for a hoofshake. "I'm Blue, nice to meat you. You're going to the same class as we, aren't you?" she whispered to the colt.

Spear nodded. "Yep, class 2-Fa."

Dusk groaned as he realized that he was gonna be seeing a lot of this silly, though admittedly socially smart, colt. "Just try not to embarrass yourself."

Spear gave a sheepish grin. "A bit late for that I'm afraid."

Mage was speechless. He was in awe of Princess Twilight's speech.

He nodded in agreement with everything the princess said. It took him a moment to get over the state of awe he was in to realize that it was time almost time for class. He blushed a little at his embarrassment.

He noticed the ponies from before talking to another pony sitting next to them. He really didn't have time. Class was probably going to start soon.

He rose from his seat and began heading out of the auditorium. He stopped and looked behind him to see if the ponies had gotten up yet. They hadn't. Mage simply shrugged and headed to class.

Dusk raised an eyebrow at Spear's comment. "What did you do?"

Spear begins to nervously rub the back of his neck. "Well, I may have, kinda, sorta, hit Professor Nexus with an itching powder prank meant for somepony else."

Blue couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, i remember, it was too funny." She laughed a bit more, then coughed and blushed. "Class is about to start, we should go." She said calmly and walked out of the auditorium and straight to the classroom.

((OK, now we enter into the first tutorial of the RP. In class, one of two things will occur: 1) the teacher will ask a multiple choice question that you will then answer. If you get the answer right, your charm stat will rise. 2) the teacher will begin a long winded lecture, which you will then have the the choice to either fall asleep, or stay awake. Just Pegasi and Earth Ponies. And as far as those ponies were concerned, magic was something that only a few gifted species could conjure. So, at this time, Ponies thought that they weren't capable of magic. However, contrary to popular belief then, and even now, you don't actually NEED a horn to perform magic. The last known recorded event of horn-less magic was the petrification of the King of Manehatten, several thousand years ago, before Discord's reign of Chaos. Can anypony tell me who cast the petrification spell?

Professor Spell Nexus stands at the front of the class. *Ahem* Class, please find your seats. Now then. Today we will be looking at the intricacies of Array Spells. Now then, an array, like all magic, must have a focal point, in this case, it will be a series of runes following a circular pattern..."

Will you fall asleep in class?

Blue raised her hoof. "Is it the Mysterious Stallion, miss Twilight?" she more asked than answered.

Aurora does her best to stay awake and learn the lesson the teacher has for the class to learn. She takes enough easy to read notes, that even a sleeper would be able to get the points of this class'  lesson.

Mage prepared his desk... and then...

The first thing Mage did, was take notes on everything the Princess was lecturing on. Mage then raked his brain to try to find the answer. He just couldn't. He just didn't know. He didn't want to run the risk of outright guessing and getting it wrong and being embarrassed in front of the whole class. Luckily for Mage...

"Mr. King. Kindly pay attention to my lecture. Array spells are not to be taken lightly. Some of the greatest spells, as well as some of the darkest spells have been cast with the help of an array."

Midnight Aurora's academics increased

Aurora raises her hoof and waits to be called on.

When she is called on she says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Even Summoning class spells require an array in order for them to work properly, Mr. Nexus.[/glow]"

Professor Nexus nods his head.

"Indeed, as do possession spells and resurrection spells, both of which are among the most illegal of spells.



((Now we come to after school. Grizzly, I need you to do what we talked about via PM. Everyone else, you have until I switch it to the Evening to build some social links. Meaning, you need to start hanging out with each other. I won't be adding any NPCs for social links until after Dusk and Blob have awakened their Personas.))

The final bell rang and Blue let out a sigh of relief. "Finally over." She turned to dusk. "So, what do you want to do now? There's a lot of... Oh..." She paused for a moment. "Sorry but i have to go, forgot something really important. You remember how to get to the dorm no? Anyway you can now do whatever you like, but be sure to be back in the dorm before night." She explained, put on her saddlebag and leaving a cloud of dust behind her galloped back to the dorm.

Aurora looks to Blobking and Blazing Sun. She says to blob, "[glow=navy,2,300]Your the one I saw at the gate right? What's your name?[/glow]" she then says to Blazing Sun, "[glow=navy,2,300]Hi! My name is Midnight Aurora, but my friends call me Aurora. What's your name?[/glow]"

Then to both she asks, "[glow=navy,2,300]Well with that bell, we are free till night fall. What do you two wish to do? On certain days I won't be able to hang out, but today I am off from work. Lets go do something.[/glow]"

Aurora seams to be happy that class is over. She also seams to want to hang out with everyone.

((Please correct me if am mistaken about the spelling of names. She doesn't know your names yet I think.))

I think... i'm going to go explore a bit... any cool places around?

Class was over. Finally.

Mage noticed that one of the ponies with the group of other ponies just left all of a sudden. Mage approached the group and spoke to them.

"You're friend seemed in a hurry there. You guys have any plans? Want to do something? Did your friend show you around the school? If not... I could do that. To be honest though... this school isn't too big. Once you get used to going here... you'll know the layout pretty quickly. If you guys are busy though... I understand" offered Mage.

He waited for one of the ponies to respond.

((Just say no to me I guess. I'll just go study alone in the library or something...  :( ))

Aurora nods and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I have been here a year and I have learned of some good places. I have a shop near to the Canterlot night district. It usually is open from after school to near midnight on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. If am not just hanging around I can usually be found managing my shop. If fun is what your looking for, there is the Canterlot mall. It holds many a shop and entertainment options for just about everything. The school also has a few clubs and some are sports oriented. I do not know precisely if any are excepting at this time, but you could ask at the faculty office. I also have my favorite night club that we could go to. It has the best that the music world has to offer for ones music entertainment needs. This is what I know. So where too?[/glow]"

"Guess I'll tag along with you guys then," Dusk said, following behind the two. "Mage, you should come with us."



The group arrives at the mall, and take in the all the shops. From left to right, theres a night club, a cafe (Charm will increase here, and on mondays, tuesdays, and wednesdays, you can work in the evening, where your courage and charm increases, and you get about 50 bits), a spa (you'll be able to work here on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays, increasing your courage and academics, and earning about 100 bits), a police station (I'll explain this one later), a back alley with a velvet glow coming from it (this will be where you can enter the Velvet Room. I'll explain the Velvet room later), a karaoke bar (you'll be able to increase your courage here), an antique shop (again, I'll explain later), an item shop (fairly obvious what this place is), a music store, and an arcade (this is to hard to explain. If you decide to go there, I'll do my best to explain it).

((OK, I'm dying to move this along and introduce the next key character of the RP, so I'm making a tactical move at this point. I'm gonna have all the shops closed, and have social links established. A bit anti-climactic, I know, but this'll take a while if we wait on Blob (no offense, of course)))

Dusk looked around, noting the empty shops, and deserted courtyard. "I think everything is closed right now, maybe we should come back later."

Spear nodded. 'Yeah, probably for the best. It's about 6 right now. Stupid traffic."

With a quick good-bye, everypony went their separate ways.

Blue is already there, talking to an unfamiliar stallion as Dusk and Blob enter.

"Oh, they're back," she says, turning at the sound of the door closing.

[shadow=black,left]"Ah, so these are our new guests..."[/shadow] the stallion says, his mouth twisting into a smile. [shadow=black,left]"Good evening. My name is Blueblood. Former prince, and current Chairman of the Board for your school. 'Blueblood'... The name alone makes you cringe doesn't it? Well, such is the infamous reputation my name holds. That's why I don't like introducing myself. Even I cringe at some of the despicable things I've done."[/shadow] Blueblood looks down for a moment. [shadow=black,left]"Anyhoof, I apologize for the confusion regarding your accommodation. However, it may take a while longer before you receive the proper room assignment. Is there anything either of you two want to ask?"[/shadow]

Blue waited silently while Blueblood was talking. When he was done she poked in him gently with her hoof. "Can i go now, senpai?" She asked politely.

Blueblood turned his head. [shadow=black,left]"Not exactly the type of question I had in mind... Anyway, yes, you can go."[/shadow]

Blue smiled and happily left for her room. It was a surprisingly busy day for it being a school day, she wanted to just jump in her bed and fall asleep, but when she finally did get to bed she wasn't tired anymore. She sat up and growled silently, and took a look over her room, thinking what to do. The room was rather small, but sufficient for her.  Next to the door, on the right, was a large cabinet with clothes. There was a table under a window, with books, textbooks, quills and ink bottles. Next to the table was an old looking TV. And then there was the bed. Blue reached out with her hind hoof, gently kicking into the TV to turn it on. The channel it was on was showing reruns of an old comedy show, and the sound was set so low that Blue herself could barely hear it. Being under the gentle lights and calming noises of the old machine always helped her sleep, it worked like a charm. And before long, she was asleep.

((I know I'm not part of the group yet, but, that doesn't really mean I still can't do something at my OC's own house. lol ))

Mage arrived home. It had been a long day. He thought about some of his other friends. He wanted to check up on them. But they were probably busy so he decided to simply head into his room and study.

After studying for a couple hours, Mage's eyes became droopy. He closed his schoolbooks, groggily climbed into bed and quickly fell asleep...

Aurora not having much to do now it is near dark decides to go into her shop and get it ready for opening tomorrow. she sets everything up and after that decides to try her daily fortune again.

She shuffles her deck and places the usual cards while not looking to keep the positions random.

She always starts with the center card flipping #1. ((hunter or grizzly you can decide what the cards read. if you know about fortune telling.))
Then she flips 6 and 7
((6 is who based on their arcana. and 7 is the outcome or final resolution. There is a chance that 7 or 6 or even 1 is what is known as a wild card. if any of the numbers 1, 6 or 7 show a wild card she cannot flip anymore.))


Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Ok....This is odd. I never ever got the wild card after a wheel of fate and the fooled jester. This is going to be one interesting night.....[/glow]"

When she is done with everything she looks to the clock and sees it is almost midnight. she locks up after reading what the cards say taking her deck with her and heads for home, only to get about half way before the dark hour happens.

When the dark hour happens the runic marks of her summoning array appear all across her body, head and wings.

I think i'll go to sleep. on normal circumstances, i'd be all for the karaoke, or something, but tonight, not really. I go upstairs, and lie down. i can't sleep, so, i study a bit. i get tired, and get in bed.

((Sorry guys, been a bit busy today. Now, to move the story along. I hope you're all ready for a visit to the Velvet Room! And yes, everyone who has signed-up will be here, that includes the two who have just joined us in the past day or two. 0:) ))

Dusk went up to his room and fell onto his bed.



Dusk awakens to find himself, along with all the ponies he met during the day, as well as two unfamiliar ones, in a mysterious, blue colored room. Sitting across from their location is an older, bipedal figure, with an absurdly long nose sitting in an armchair. The figure grins at them and, though it looked creepy, they could tell that the figure was friendly.

"Welcome," the figure said, clearly male from the sound of his voice, as he raised an appendage in greeting. "To the Velvet Room. My name is Igor. I am delighted to make your acquaintance." Igor than held up a hand as he saw a few of the ponies in the room start to speak. "I haven't much time to speak with you all, however, rest assured that you will all have your questions answered in due time. This place exists between dreams and reality, mind and matter. Only those who have signed a contract, or made an agreement may enter this place." He then holds up 8 sheets of paper they didn't recognize, however, the players controlling them quickly recognized them as the OC questions they answered when signing up for the RP (4th wall break!). "Henceforth," Igor continued. "You shall all be welcome here in the Velvet Room. You all are destined to hone your unique abilities, and you will require my help to do so. I only ask one thing in return; that you abide by the contract, and assume responsibility for the choices you make."

The group all nod in understanding.

"Very good, now," Igor nodded, as he reached behind him and produced 8 keys. "Each of you hold onto one of these, it will give you access to the Velvet Room in the future. Now, there is still one more resident of this room, who unfortunately could not be present for your arrival. But, I'll make sure you're properly introduced. Another time perhaps. 'Til we meet again..."

The group's eyelids begin to feel heavy once again, as they all once again fell asleep.

((And there you go, the first trip to the Velvet Room! Now, I have a quick announcement. I will be gone for the next week, so I'm giving full GM-ship to Grizzly. This means that she will have complete control of all the NPCs as well as Dusk Storm, until I get back. This also means that until I get back, her word is law, don't question her. Until next week!))

[Blue's Room]
The gentle rays of the morning sun hit blue's eyes. She twitches a few times and lazily sits up, her untidy mane partially covering her face. She stretched and yawned loudly, then rubbed her head and looked at her TV, to her surprise it was turned off. She just shrugged it off and with the help of a comb fought with her mane for a good twenty minutes, before walking out of her room and waiting outside for the rest of the student residents of the dorm.

[Dusk's Room]
The loud sound of an alarm clock ringed all over his room, waking him up abruptly. He just growled and threw his pillow at the clock, silencing it after he got his bearings. He walked out the dorm and waved hi to Blue, both of them waiting a little longer.

"Hmmmph"

Sabrina mumbled in her sleep. She woke up and gasped. She continued to roll in her bed a little before she went up.

She took her blue west from the clothes rack and a shiny saddle bag which she quickly stuffed with useful stuff for the upcoming day, alot of books and a little meal to name some of them.

She was just about to leave her room when she looked in the hall mirror and saw that her mane was dirty. She used one of her spell to lift some warm water and pulsing it through her hair so she got her normal hair style. Then she went out into the corridor.

She didn't have to walk long to see a blue unicorn and a stallion next to it, they were the only ones there. She w´went closer to them and when she was next to them she tried to start a conversation with them.
"Hello, haven't seen you two around here, what are your names? Mine is by the way Sabrina" She gently mentions and smiles at them.

"Hi, i'm Blue and this is Dusk." She pointed to dusk and continued. "Nice to meet you, have you been here long? Haven't seen you yet. I thought that Twilight senpai told me about everypony in our dorm..." She sighed.

There is a knock on the main door. "[glow=navy,2,300]Hello! Is anypony there. I was told to come here this morning.[/glow]" The voice sounds like the Pegasus from the other day.

"Maybe not, but I usually hang around others in my free time, nor eat in the cafeteria, I spend most of my time studying in my room and praticing hard spells with other unicorns, or yeah, that was last year, the train from my home station this year was late because of a storm, so I came last night, missed the first day, did they have this speech this year too? Can you guys tell me anything about it?" She babbles on without thinking of being polite.
"Oh, what about you guys, heard we got alot of new students this year, met any of them?" She asks with a little shake on the head, like if she had a spider on her nose. Then a pegasus enters the room.
"Hello, what is a pegasus doing at a school for unicorns?"
((I guessed on you entering, is that okey?))

Blue giggled. "It's not only for unicorns you know, though it was at first its now more a school of magic, and everypony has magic in one way or another. Anyway, i don't think there will be anypony in but students, the school is about to start after all, maybe you can come in in the afternoon?" she suggested.

Another door slowly opened, and yet another student who Blue hadn't met walked out, nearly running into them. 

"Okay" Then a black stallion almost runs into her. She looks at him and thinks, then she remembers.
"Hmm, didn't I see you on the train here last night?" She asks and tilts her head.

The new pony adjusted his glasses, looking over the group.  Although he was physically small, it was quite obvious he made up for that through intelligence.  Indeed.  I believe you claimed your name was Sabrina, and this is Dusk and Blue.  Quite obviously, he had been listening to the conversation as he got ready for the day. 

Blue sighed. So many new ponies today... she looked at the time. Dusk wanted to say something but was interrupted by Blue's scared yelp. "Come on, everypony. There's no time! The train will be leaving in 4 minutes!" She said quickly and galloped to the station, Dusk closely behind her.

The new pony galloped to the station as well, although he stayed nearly entirely silent on the trip.

Sabrina follows them to the train, then she looks at the stallion again.
"What's your name?" She begins. "And why did you get late?" She ends.

The stallion adjusted his glasses, then looked (slightly up) at Sabrina.  I am Checkmate, and I was late because of the blasted train conductor.  Refused to accept that I was the 20 year old stallion the ticket described.  That fool.  He said, disdain very clear in his voice.

Aurora had been listening and says to Sabrina, "[glow=Navy,2,300]You really don't remember me from last year, Sabrina? I was the one who always got lost before. It been a year already. I guess I have to blame that studious nature I had last year to catch up. I was home schooled before last year. This will be my second year attending the school. Also just for reference note I am a senior this year. After this year I will have nearly mastered my hidden strength. But.....that is a story for another time.[/glow]" She Looks to Blue and says handing her a note from twilight, "[glow=navy,2,300]The note said to come here. I was fine in my apartment but somepony thinks it would be better if I stay at the dorm. You said the train leaves in 4 minutes. Good thing to I have some research to do. Did anypony see anything strange around midnight last night? If not, then never mind. Lets get going I think some of the teachers will be hard on us if we are late.[/glow]" Aurora gets on the train and waits for everypony else.

Checkmate stepped onto the train quietly, not acknowledging any other pony, and sat as far back as he could, away from anypony else.

Mage groggily awoke from his sleep.

What the heck happened last night? It seemed like a dream. Or was it?

The key that was given to him in his dream was on table next to his bed which also had his alarm clock on it that he always set to wake himself up in time for school.

Mage just sat on his bed for quite a while, speechless. Eventually though... he looked at the time. It was already almost time for school. He quickly ran around his house, gathering what he needed and began galloping to school.

"Geez... I really don't have time for this... I'll worry about that weird stuff that happened to me last night later. I need to focus on school right now" thought Mage

Blob woke up,  went downstairs, and grbbed his schoolbags. he gotto the station just in time to ride the subway to the school area.

J wakes up getting his stuff and heading to the station he checks how much money he has on him to see if he'll be able to do anything after school

Blue took the note from Aurora, but didn't have time to read it just yet. Luckily all the ponies managed to get on the train in time, although it was really close. Blue sighed and decided to read the note. "Hmm...? Why didn't she tell me about this?" She whispered to herself.

Once on the train Dusk spoke to Aurora. "So what was it about the midnight?"

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I had just finished the final preperations for the re-grand opening of Midnight's Fortunes. The store I own inside the mall. If you want to find out what I do there, you just need to visit. For first time customers, the first time I provide the service, it will be free. This is the re-grand opening special. If you haven't been to my shop before, then you get one service for free.[/glow]" aurora seams to have gotten off topic in her excitement.

She realizes this and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Sorry about that. I got off topic. I am just excited that I can open shop again.[/glow]"

She gets right back on topic afterwards and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]As for after setting the shop up, I decided to head home and get some sleep. But as the time struck midnight, I noticed something odd. There was what looked to be coffins everywhere and weird shadow looking things tried to attack me. If it wasn't for my Rotara, Fate's Apprentice, I would not have been here today. When I called twilight this morning about it, she told me to come see her personally. After I spoke with her, she gave me that note and said I should move into the listed dorm. As for why I don't know.[/glow]"

Aurora seams both scared and confused about what she is describing. But something about this Rotara would have somepony asking questions.

she seams to also have remembered something and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Oh yea almost forgot the most important part. do you know what The Velvet Room is? I had a dream about it as well.[/glow]"

Blue hid the note in her bag. "Coffins? Hmm, maybe you were just tired." She tried to shrug it off and act as if she doesn't know anything. "Anyway, if you need help with moving i am free today after school." She smiled.

Dusk tilted his head a bit, growing a little suspicious of the small mare as.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I hope your up late because I won't be available till late evening. I have a shop at the mall to run after school today.[/glow]"

((She did just speak about her shop in the mall called Midnight's Fortunes. Yes, Hunter already approved it. Also, is the day of the week Monday or Tuesday in game time? am trying to set up when the shop is open and when it isn't.))

"Yeah, I do remember you getting lost... sorry for mentioning it late, just had to think" She giggles and takes a seat next to a pony from her last school year and starts talking.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Sabrina, I don't remember you ever coming to my shop last year. If you want or anypony else for the matter wishes to talk to me I am usually there on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday after school. My shop is open till late evening on those days. If a costumer requests it, I can open shop on Sunday anytime. Please do come and visit me there. Even if it is just for a friendly visit. By the way, if I act funny on the day before and night of the new moon, don't worry. It is something that happens every time the new moon comes around. If I cause any problems then though please let me know because I might not remember it afterwards.[/glow]" Aurora reminds Sabrina about the new moon incidents involving Aurora becoming a lot more like a trouble marker during that day and night.

"On the new moon huh. Than we don't wave to worry about that for some time. I mean, the moon is full in two days after all." Blue said with a giggle as the train stopped and everypony headed for school departed.

As Aurora gets off the train she says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Good! Then I will be at my peak strength then. As the old saying goes, One who is bound to the light of the moon with have boosted power on the full moon but become their shadow on the new moon. This was a saying my 3rd great grandmother Vivian taught to all her children and now it is my turn to carry the saying. My 3rd great grandmother was a great fortune teller. She had passed the art from mother to daughter and I am the most recent to learn the arts from my mother, concepts rest her soul. If you will excuse me, I have some research to do before going to class. c'yall at class and if not, c'yall at my shop's grand re-opening.[/glow]"

Aurora after saying her words leaves the group and heads for the library for a quick research study before going to class.

((Aurora just revealed a part of herself to the group. In a way she is bound to the cycles of the moon. I don't know if that grants a level up to the fortune arcana or not but hey. it won't change the event surrounding her awakening her persona.))

Mage was getting close to the school, so, he began to slow down. It looked like his hurry actually made him a bit early.

So... he waited at the front of the entrance to the school to wait for those other ponies that he saw yesterday. Maybe they could help him out with the weird dream he had?

Nah... it would probably be best not to mention it because they'd probably think he was going crazy if he told them about his weird dream and the weird key he now had.

Blob read a book as he st on the subway, and rushed to the school afterwards. he ended up being a little early by doing so.

Once the train arrived, Checkmate silently walked through the crowd to get to class.

Sabrina enters the classroom and takes an empty bench next to another empty bench and carefully lays down all the pencils and books on the desk so so she can take notes and so, then she sees the teacher walk up to the black/white board.

Blue looked at the time and sighed. "Only a minute until the first bell, better hurry..." She said and with a quickened trot went to the 2-Fa classroom, followed by Dusk. Blue entered the classroom, took her seat and the bell rang as she was preparing her stuff. Dusk sat down too and prepared his stuff.

Aurora was right on time and in her seat getting her school supplies out, as the bell for class F-2b to start. she seams to also be in a better mood then when she first arrived at school.

Mage's time sense must be horrible. He ran to class and ran to his seat, hastily got out his supplies and placed them on his desk, and tried to use whatever little time he had left to prepare for class to start.

Checkmate sat at the very back of his class, laying his books and supplies out and emotionlessly looking around the room.

The bell stopped ringing and the classes were on their way.

Professor Spell Nexus walks in the classroom and stands before the chalkboard, looking into the faces of the standing up students. After a good minute passed he sat down and opened the students book. "You may sit down." He said loud enough to be heard and the students obliged. "So, class, today we will be discussing the magics and wonders of ancient runes..." He began his lecture long, boring lecture. You feel sleepy, will you listen to the lecture, or doze off for a little bit?

About five minutes after the bell princess Twilight enters the classroom. She faces the class, a tome levitated in her magical grip. "Alright class, settle down. Today, we will be looking at the origins of magic. A LONG time ago, there weren't any Unicorns. Just Pegasi and Earth Ponies. And as far as those ponies were concerned, magic was something that only a few gifted species could conjure. So, at this time, Ponies thought that they weren't capable of magic. However, contrary to popular belief then, and even now, you don't actually NEED a horn to perform magic. The last known recorded event of horn-less magic was the petrification of the King of Manehatten, several thousand years ago, before Discord's reign of Chaos. Can anypony tell me who cast the petrification spell?"

Checkmate, despite feeling sleepy, stayed up to listen to the lecture, taking studious notes.

Sabrina took notes and asked when she felt like it, she saw other ponies getting mad at her for doing so, but she didn't bother. Some of the most valurable information had actually been through runes from older generations, that was just one of the things that made her find this subject deeply fascinating.

Aurora raises her hoof and waits to be called on.

When she is called on she says,

Did the dream not allow Mage to get that much sleep? Who knows.

He wasn't going to fall asleep in class and risk getting lectured for it. He stayed awake and took notes over the lecture the professor was giving.

Blue had trouble staying up, but did stay up non the less. Dusk slept enough, he had no problems staying up.

Professor Nexus turned from the chalkboard to look into the class, he only sighed when he saw a few ponies napping. "Ok class, now pay attention. This will be on the test." He said and wrote a few things on the chalkboard, waited for anypony awake to write it down and then erased it.

Blue, Checkmate, Dusk, Mage, J all stayed up. Their academics rose!

"That is correct, very good." Twilight seemed pleased and explained a bit more.

Aurora and Blob gave the right answer. Their academics rose!

Checkmate scribbled his notes quickly, and, once class was over, immediately left, finding his room rather quickly.  Once inside, he locked the door, remaining inside for the rest of the day.

Twilight opened her mouth to answer but in that moment the bell rang. She giggled. "Well, we'll have to save that for later. Class's over, have a nice rest of the day class." and with that she left the classroom.



Blue decided to stay in the schools library to do some extra studying. Dusk went straight to the dorm to get some rest.

Naura decided to run after Twilight and soon got to her.
"Have they found out who he was or not? Sorry if I'm annoying, but I really would like to know more" Sabrina explained.
"I found this intresting, does they know if he was a Pegasus or Earth pony?" Sabrina added with a blushing face X3 as she walked after the teacher.

Twilight smiled at Sabrina. "It's alright, i commend your lust for knowledge. I could just tell you, but i think it'll be better if you find out for your self." She winked and levitated a book out of her bag to Sabrina.

Aurora passed a note to all of the ones in her class saying,

"Grand re-opening today. come to the mall and look for Midnight's Fortunes. First service provided is free for new customers."

When Sabrina ran after twilight Aurora thought and gave chase catching them with a little help of her wings. She says to them both, "[glow=navy,2,300]Good afternoon miss twilight and Sabrina. I am about to head out for work. Here have this. it is a flyer stating about the re-grand opening of Midnight's Fortunes. Miss Twilight can I ask a huge favor of you? could you please post one of these flyers on the student board for me? I am running a bit late as it were and well I didn't have time to get the flyer up yesterday. Thanks in advance if you can. If either of you need me or just wish to hang out, I will be at Midnight's Fortunes.[/glow]" Aurora hands one of the notes to Sabrina and one to twilight. After that she heads out and off to work.

((Midnight's Fortunes is now open for business. Aurora will be there on the days she spoke of.))

"Ah... sure..." Twilight said as Aurora stormed off to her place of work. She then turned around and placed the flyer on the student board, which was right next to her. After which she turned to Sabrina. "Sorry, but i really have to go now, we have a meeting now." She explained and was on her way.

Sabrina took the book and was just about to say something to Twilight, when Aurora came and handed them flyers. After that Sabrina forgot what she wanted to ask, so she said goodbye and went to her room and tried to find out about the mysterious mare on her Pc, she didn't find what she looked for, but she found a lot of other different facts that could be useful, so she stayed at her computer for some time, completly forgeting all about Auroras flyer.

Mage breathed a sigh of relief. Class was finally over. As he left... he saw a familiar pony, and a new pony he didn't know, talking to Princess Twilight. He saw Princess Twilight post something onto the student board and the ponies left. Mage went to the board and looked at what was posted.

"Hmm... what is this...? 'Midnight's Fortunes?' Sounds weird... but interesting at the same time. I've got nothing better to do. I guess I'll check it out and see what it's about?" thought and decided Mage

Mage headed the mall and looked around. Eventually he found what he was looking for. A building that had the same name as what was on the flyer on the student board.

Mage still wasn't sure of this, but, trying new things was always exciting, in a way.

Mage entered Midnight's Fortunes and looked around to see what the store was all about.

Checkmate had found a similar flyer, and decided to head to the store.  Knowing what was there couldn't hurt him, after all.

J looks over the flyer and decides to visit the shop he leaves school and heads towards the shop entering Midnight's fortunes

Blob heads to the mall again, and notices the fortune shop open. Looks fun... wait, didn't she say it's free first time?  Cool!

Inside the shop is Aurora around the place is what looks to be a large grouping of items that pertain to things a unicorn would love to get their hooves on. The place had things from hoof drawn arrays for spells, with a large active array beneath a table, with various books and fortune based items all around the shop. In the shop behind the table sits aurora covered from tip of muzzle to hoof and wing to wing with what any unicorn would know of as arcane runes. aurora looks up at her school mates entry and the runes covering her vanish as well as the array in the center under the table going silent. She says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Welcome. Your just in time. I just finished my last few customers and have a bit of free time. May I ask, is this a casual visit or are you here for a reading of your possible fortune?[/glow]" With a wing she points to the table in the center of the room. On it is a very recognizable deck of cards. some of the cards are already lain out and three of which are flipped. The three depict the fooled jester, the wheel of fate and The Infamous Wild Card.

she collects the cards and places them back in the deck and shuffles the deck. After that she places the deck on the table and looks to get ready for her new friends and a few old friends. out of one of the side rooms comes a filly Alicorn with a half wheel of fate for a cutie mark. She looks to the group and then to Aurora before saying. "[glow=purple,2,300]I guess the cards were right once again, mistress. You were going to encounter many bound to the arcana today. My name is Rotara. I am Aurora's guide to the other side, as one could put it.[/glow]"

((Meet Rotara, the Apprentice of Fate. Aurora's Fortune/Fate Realm summoning.))

aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Rotara, I told you my predictions are, 9 times out of 10, always correct. The cards never lie. But for some odd reason I keep getting that one combination when it concerns my own fortune. I think the cards are trying to tell me something. The Fooled Jester,, The Wheel of Fate and The Wild Card. It happened last night before I locked up and had that encounter with all the coffin things.[/glow]"

Rotara nods understandingly and says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Remember you called me out then. I helped you get home remember?[/glow]"

Aurora says, "[glow=Navy,2,300]I know. I know. Now lets work with our new friends, shall we? You know your place. Make sure the other customers aren't getting rowdy. I will tend to them in turn.[/glow]"

Rotara says before heading into the front area, "[glow=purple,2,300]Understood, mistress. I am on my way.[/glow]"

Aurora looks back to her new friends after Rotara has gone to the front and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]So what will it be, A casual visit or a reading? Remember for those who have yet to come here and this is you first time in my shop, the reading is free. I tell one's fortunes using my fortune deck.[/glow]" Aurora points again to the deck on the table.

Checkmate looked around the shop, wanting to not be first.  If it appeared legitimate, sure he would take the free reading, but not yet.

Mage's mouth was agape. He was shocked when he saw the filly alicorn. Then again... stranger things have happened... but still.

He quickly tried to shake it off. He didn't want to be rude or make Aurora angry.

He spoke up to Aurora.

"Fortune telling? That's what you do? I'm not really sure I believe in that kind of stuff... but... sure!! Why not? It could be interesting. If your prediction comes true, I might be more lenient to believe in it. Besides... I'll take anything as long as it's free!!" giggled Mage

He then approached the table with the deck of cards and simple smiled at Aurora and waited for her to do his fortune telling.

Sabrina had been studying so long her mouth was getting dry, and decided to go get something to drink. When she came back with a glass of milk she saw the flyer and decided that it couldn't be too bad to go check it out, Aurora would just get happy. She saved the note document she had made and levitated the saddlebag to her back. She then used her teleportation spell out to the hall and levitated the flyer infront of her while walking out of the house.

Aurora Noticed the reaction by Mage and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Ah! You have noticed one of my other abilities. That is Rotara, The Apprentice of Fate. She is my Fate/Fortune Realm summoning. Long story not enough time. As for fortunes, yes I do. Shall we see yours?[/glow]"

Aurora shuffles the deck once again and places the cards out.

Mage said nothing further on the filly alicorn he saw. He looked at the cards and thought for a moment. Then... he pointed his right hoof to the card in the middle, ((1)) the card at the top, ((4)) and the card second on the right. ((3))

"I choose these cards" informed Mage as he waited to see what the cards would be...

aurora flips the first card first ((1)) It shows the wheel of fate.
Aurora Flips the second card ((4)) It shows the sword of strength.
Aurora flips the final card ((3)) It shows the wild card.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Hmm Wheel of fate. That means you are fated for something. The sword of strength. This one means you will come to know the fate of strength, when combined with the wheel of fate card. But like my last few, I always get this card for some odd reason. The future of your fate lays in strength but the future even I can't show you. The wild card means unpredictability. Your fate lays in strength but as for why it is uncertain. You have gotten a strong setup here. The wheel of fate belongs to the fate/fortune domain. The sword of strength belongs to the strength/power domain. This wild card belongs to none and yet at the same time it belongs to all.
Your Fortune is: Your fate is shrouded by a great unknown shadow and only strength will guide you to it.[/glow]"

Aurora looks to the next friend and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Pick three.[/glow]" Aurora shuffles the deck again and places the same number in the same order. She seams to repeat the same process each time.

Checkmate, after seeing Mage's picks, stepped forward next, silently pointing at cards 2, 6, and 1.

((OK To make things Quick for Grizzly, The process will be the same for all friends who come to the shop. The wheel of fate and wild card are the same. the only card that changes is the card representing the one choosing. The card representing you is bound to your chosen arcana.))

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Not again. Still the wheel of fate and wild cards. This time it is the hierophant. Your fate is the same as Mage's, but this time only within the Hierophant can you find it.[/glow]"

Checkmate sighed before stepping aside, somewhat disappointed.

Aurora looks to saddened Checkmate and says, "[glow=Navy,2,300]I don't know why but it seams that the cards are rarely wrong. It also seams that from my own daily fortune. we all have the same fate. Let me check mine again, just to make sure this is right.[/glow]"

Aurora redoes her thing and this time it is two wheels of fate and the wild card. Aurora looks shock and decides to use a rule about combined fate. She says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Ok for all my friends who got the same two cards, I would like you each to pick 1 or 2. This will tell me about a combined fortune. A combined fortune happens when two or more have the same kind of card set up.[/glow]"

aurora calls in rotara who seams very confused about aurora using the combined fate rule. rotara shuffles the cards and places two of them down. ((the two card are the wheel of fate and wild card. their order I will not reveal until the ones who chose have chosen.))
Aurora dicides to pick last and turns away. Rotara will record on a pad the choices of the others.

((OK all players at the shop please pick one of the two cards. Left or Right.))

Checkmate's eyes narrowed and he picked the right card.

Wait, me too, i haven't gone...

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Pick a card then Blob. we only need at least three for the combination fortune to work. I will go last.[/glow]"

With one of the ponies already choosing the right card, Mage pointed his right hoof on the card on the left.

The right card must be the right card, so, yeah.

Aurora smiles and points to the right card.

Aurora flips both cards over and gasps. She says in a shocked manor, "[glow=navy,2,300]This isn't possible! Not in all my years as a summoner and a fortune teller has this happened![/glow]"

Both cards reveal to be the wild card. She looks to everyone there and says, after calming herself down, "[glow=navy,2,300]I think I understand now why events are happening the way they are. We as a whole are bound to the same fate. Our futures are shrouded by a great shadow and only, that which is, the realm we are aligned to can show us how to face this future. In all my years I have never used the combination fortune rule and this has come up. I think our fates or destinies are linked somehow.[/glow]"

She looks to each friend at the shop and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Does anypony here know what this is for? I got it after a dream I had last night.[/glow]" Aurora holds up a velvet colored key.

Checkmate stared at the key.  Something seemed familiar about it, but he couldn't quite place it.

Opening doors. well aspecific door. no idea what door, keys just usually do that...

J watches from the sidelines not wanting to interrupt

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Well the one from the dream said that the key he gave was meant to grant access to something called the Velvet Room, whatever that is. Oh look at the time is it evening already. Well I got a few customers left and then it will be time to close shop for the night. I have something I want to show yall later after I get settled into the dorm that is. Can yall wait till then or even tomorrow after school, so I can show you it?[/glow]"

aurora quickly gets back to her other customers and finish with more then enough time before her original closing time. She then decides to close for the night after that. She says, "[glow=Navy,2,300]Tell next calling Rotara.[/glow]"

Rotara says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Please make sure it is a combat next time. This is a waste of your summoning energy. If it is that power that you want to show them, then that would be fine because it would be more then just me you call forth.[/glow]" Rotara vanishes in a flash of light. The runes under the table igniting for a brief moment.

Checkmate returned to his dorm, interested in what Aurora would have to say.  He'd seen that key somewhere, and the idea was driving him crazy.

Sabrina sees the shop and slowly walks up to it, but sees that she already have plenty of students in there, and decides to go back tomorrow, then she turns around and walks home to continue her study.
((hehe, little late to post this, but just want a little reason to not get caught in a time change))

Aurora sees Sabrina come in as the shop is near closeing and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Hey Sabrina, are yopu going to be at the dorm later. Once I am fully moved in I have something I want to show everypony. I think then you will understand why I go to a school for gifted unicorns. Besides just the usual Pegasus magic stuff.[/glow]"

Aurora ushers the others outside and closes the shop for the night. She then follows Sabrina Back to the Dorm so she can get moved in.

She says on the way, "[glow=navy,2,300]Well I guess a regrand opening was a good way to gain some bits. I made about 300 today. This was a good day for me indeed.[/glow]"

Aurora seams to not want to be caught in something for some odd reason. she closed shop early.

After studying in the library Blue finally made it to Aurora's Fortune shop. She opened the door and walked in, surprised to see how many ponies there still were. She sat down in the corner and waited.

Aurora says, "[glow=Navy,2,300]Sorry everypony but right now I am taking appointments only. If I do not call you name please come again tomorrow.[/glow]"

aurora comes from the back and calls some names, "[glow=Navy,2,300]Mage Heart, Blue Star, Dusk Storm, Blazzing Sun, Sabrina, Flamedren and Checkmate. I am sorry but as of now all others need to leave the shop. Only those whose names I called may stay. Starting Thursday The shop will be open fully for regular business hours.[/glow]"

Aurora looks to all there after the ones who weren't called left and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Ok, some of you have been here for a good amount of time and others are just now getting here. I would like to ask of you something before we begin this for those just arriving. Do y'all know what a summoner's array is?[/glow]"

Aurora looks dead serious right now.

Checkmate shook his head, speaking for the first time anypony there had heard.  I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the term.((Let's just assume he didn't go back to the dorm.  0:) ))

Aurora nods and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I guess I could just tell you but I would rather show you. Rotara just left a little while ago. She is what one would call a summoned life form or summoning. A summoner's array is simply put this.[/glow]"

Aurora uses a wing and pushes the table away while using the other wing to grab the deck off the table. On the floor is a large spell array, shaped in the form of a many pointed star. Within the star itself is symbols any unicorn would know of as planer dimensions.

After aurora moves the table she places a single very recognizable card, The wheel of fate, in the circle's center. She speaks in a language the unicorns of the group would know of as the language of magic. the words spoken translate as follows: "[glow=navy,2,300]From Life to Death. Form Day to Night. From the realms of Fools To the great fate Realm I doth call you. My aid and guide to the other side, Rotara. Come forth apprentice of fate.[/glow]"
Arcane Runes cover Aurora's body from tip of muzzle to flank and from wing tip to wing tip. As the runes remain, the circle flairs to life revealing in it center, when the light calms down, Rotara the Filly Alicorn from before. Rotara says, "[glow=purple,2,300]I guess you changed your mind, Summoner Aurora. I, Rotara, am here to guide and protect you.[/glow]"
Rotara has on her flank a one half of the wheel of fate for her cutie mark and is carrying a staff with the wheel on one side and a clock on the other. The two are at the top of the staff. She looks to be wearing no armor.

Aurora and Rotara looked at eachother and started to giggle at the reaction from Mage. Shortly after what seemed to be a mental conversation between them, they broke out laughing. They couldn't help it, his reaction was just priceless. Aurora says between fits of laughter, "[glow=navy,2,300]Hehehe....Your look....Hahahaha...is so......hehehehe......Pricelesss!!!!Hohohohohohahaha...I wish I had a camera to take a picture.[/glow]" They don't seam to be laughing at him. They seams to be just laughing in general and it was his reaction to the summoning magic that got them to laugh so hard. ((lol))

Blue switched looks between Aurora and Rotara. "Have i been drinking again?" she simply asks.

Mage's look on his face turned into one of anger. It really didn't matter what it they were actually laughing at, to Mage, it seemed like they were laughing at him.

He said nothing and simply turned to leave.

"I swear... that's the last time I try to do something new..." mumbled Mage to himself.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Mage...wait! I am sorry, if I offended you. It is just unicorns usually have a hard time accepting a Pegasus with any form of active magic. It becomes funny when they find out that it is true and give a reaction similar to what you gave. I am honestly sorry. Please forgive and stay. I wasn't laughing at you. your reaction reminded me and Rotara of the last unicorn summoner we faced in a summoner's duel. His reaction was the exact same as yours.[/glow]"

After that aurora looks to Blue and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]No you haven't. Well not that I know of. I am a Pegasus Summoner. I will let Rotara explain about the actual art of summoning. Please don't mind it if she turns it into a little lecture. Rotara can get that way sometimes.[/glow]"

Rotara give aurora a look that says I am insulted. Rotara says, "[glow=purple,2,300]I am not like that professor Nexus. I do not give lectures like his.[/glow]" Rotara calms herself before beginning. ((I know you guys don't want a lecture so you ask questions and she will answer honestly. if am not mistaken this will end late evening about 11P.M. Leaves 1 hour to get back to the dorm.)) Rotara talks about the array itself. The rarity of unicorn, earth pony, Pegasus and Alicorn summoners. She also talks about the strength of each race as a summoner. "[glow=purple,2,300]It is said that unicorns are the weakest of summoners because most of their potential is tied up in their active magic. Alicorns and Pegasi are the same in strength, because they share a common passive magic potential that isn't awakened actively. Earth ponies aren't the strongest but do have their own advantages as a summoner. They can have a summoning out far longer then a unicorn specialized in summoning But not as long as a Alicorn or Pegasus summoner. The rarer the summoner's race the stronger they effectively are as summoners. Any Questions? If none, I think it is time for us to all head to our homes.[/glow]"

Aurora seams to be happy that she has finally told them her greatest secret. That secret being, She is a Pegasus Summoner.

"Oh, so you're a summoner, Aurora? That's nice." Blue smiled. "I tried summoning magic, but i really can't do it. If i recall, the guy trying to teach me said that i have 'blood ties to something that prevents summoning', whatever that means." Blue joked and waved her hoof. "Anyway, i'm here to help you with the moving to our dorm, so whenever you're ready." She smiled.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Ok sure. I had cleared out my evening schedule to make room for all of you guys to come. Also Blue I think I know why events are happening the way they are. this includes me being moved into the dorm. Most of those at the dorm had their fortunes read by me. we all had the same fortune but with a different summoning realm as the one representing us. A dark shadow shrouds our destiny. only with the aid of that which is our power can we grasp our fate.[/glow]"

Rotara knowing what aurora said is true began to pack a few things from around the shop. one of the more noticeable items is a book on summoning. the book itself is half the size of aurora alone. it also looks really heavy. Rotara also grabs a few of the spell arrays and a array scroll and goes over to mage stopping him. Rotara says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Take this. If you can learn it I will teach you about summoning magic. It is a summoning array for summoning ones own guide to aid them. The choice however is yours, Mage Heart of the Strength Arcana.[/glow]"

She hears blues words about summoning blocks and says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Are you sure about that, Blue Star of the Lovers Arcana? It is said that beings attached to the arcana are able to call forth beings associated with them. it is a form of summoning that is different then what aurora uses.[/glow]"

Blue tilted her head, her expression became a bit saddened. "Oh... so you know about..." She pulled out the cannon like object out of her bag and shown it to Rotara briefly. "...this?" She hid the said object back to her bag. "This isn't the time, nor place, to be talking about that though. But i meant 'normal' summoning."

Rotara says, "[glow=purple,2,300]I know. I have set up wards around this place. It is as safe as any sanctuary you have. Not even the dark beings that come out at midnight can get in here. I know of both summoning types. Aurora can use both. But for her that device is not something she can make use of. In time only the cards will tell, when she will be ready. You possess the second type of summoning power associated with the summoners. Normal summoning has many requirements including being bound to an Arcana. Aurora is bound to the Fate Realm or as you know it the Fortune Arcana. I will teach her about it once the cards say she is ready. Even Rota Fortuna will tell me when aurora is ready. I know it will be soon though. beware the next full moon. Darkness will begin its decent then.[/glow]"

Rotara goes back to finish the last of the packing and then brings everything over to Aurora. She says, "[glow=Purple,2,300]If we get caught out at midnight there will be trouble. They are getting stronger and only alexander's Agies field will be strong enough to withstand them. Even my time stop will not function the same on them this time. We are too close to a full moon. It also seams as if they get stronger the closer it comes to a full moon. That is probably why your summonings are becoming less effective and it is getting harder for us to get home. We should make haste before midnight comes.[/glow]"

When aurora nods to Rotara, rotara leaves the bags and merges herself with Aurora the staff Rotara once held is now on aurora's back. Aurora picks up the bags as if they were as light as a feather to her. Besides The fact Aurora gained a few inches her wings seam to have also doubled in size. No other notable changes have happened to aurora.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Ready to head out when you are Blue Star.[/glow]"
Once everypony is out of the shop aurora closes and locks the place up, making first sure no-pony is inside. She says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Despite the fact I had to stop the normal customers this evening, I had a good day of work for my re-grand opening. The shop will be open on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays in the afternoon after the time school would normally end.[/glow]"

"Alright." Blue nodded and walked to the door. "Oh, and you can call me Blue, everypony does." She smiled. "So, now we're going to your place to get your stuff?" She asked and though. Fortune telling, huh. Maybe i should let her read my cards next time i'm here. she let out a chuckle.

Aurora shakes her head and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]All my needed things are already in my hoofty saddlebags here. They may not look it, but they can hold a lot more then you can see, just by looking at them. I have everything I will need in them. so we are all set. what I was needing was Where I would be moving into and from what you saw on the floor here. I will need a room big enough to put the array mat I have down. It makes transporting the summoning array easier to have it sown into something like a mat or carpet. The one I have is a 10ft x 10ft carpet mat.[/glow]"

"Yeah, sure. I'll speak to Twilight, the room across from mine is vacant and should be big enough." Blue said with a smile and took one of the saddlebags on. "Uff.. pretty heavy, alright, lets go."

Magic? summoning? okay.  Blob wasn't surprised, and only heard some things. Oh, we're moving? okay.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]You mustn't be use to carrying the type four saddlebags of holding. They weigh about 80 lbs but you can fit nearly 1000lbs worth of items in them. I have two. That one there contains all my summoning stuff. including the ancient summoner's almanac. Remind me once I have settled in to Show it to you. Rotara was right you know the requirements for being a summoner are many but most if not all of them are easy enough to meet. The summoner that said your bloodline was blocked from summoning had to have not known about the stage two summoners or legendary summoners.[/glow]" Aurora walks with the others back to the dorm and waits in the main sitting area talking with Rotara about the summoners.

Blue blushed a bit. "Well, if you haven't noticed, i'm a pretty small mare. Type four is just too big for me." She explained and panted along. Once in the dorm she sat down and gave a sigh of relief, wiping off some sweat from her forehead.

Every so often Rotara seams to look at one or more of those at the dorm and nods to Aurora, as if answering some unspoken question. Any magic user with a familiar knows they are just mentally communicating with each other.

"Alright, wait here, i'll go talk to Twilight." Blue smiled and walked to the stairs, and up the stairs. After a talk with Twilight she returned to Aurora and picked the to her heavy bag again. "Alright, let's go. Third floor." she said and walked to the stairs again.

Aurora follows blue to her room on the third floor. she says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Well I can take things from here. I will see you tomorrow and hopefully My dreams won't be weird again. BTW do you have this?[/glow]" Aurora shows blue her Velvet Key.

Rotara unmerges from aurora returning aurora to her normal size and begins to set up the room for use with summoning and to set up the wards she used at the shop so the array is protected when they are not there. "[glow=purple,2,300]I will be here for a good while Blue. If you or Lady twilight need anything please don't hesitate to ask me. I am learning from aurora as she is learning from me.[/glow]"

Again Blue sighed in relief as she put the bag down. She tilted her head and looked at the key Aurora was showing to her and nodded. She wanted to say something, but was interrupted by the lights going out, the whole city it seemed was silent, and the moon glowed brighter than ever before, even if it was still a day away from being full. "Oh, it's midnight already? Well, better get some sleep. If the dark hour is good for anything than it's the extra sleeping hour we get." She chuckled. "Well, good night. And of you need anything my room is right here." She pointed to the door across from Aurora's and tiredly walked in. She yawned loudly and jumped in her bed, this time she fell asleep instantly.

Blob just arrived. Why am i always left behind?

Aurora and Rotara nodded to each other before Rotara once again merged with her. Aruroa went down stairs and out the front door checked the perrimiter Rotara set up while they were coming in. Then they went back to their room and Rotara handled setting up the Summoning array as Aurora went to sleep. The near full moon caused Rotara's Staff to flutter slightly.

As Aurora slept, Rotara went to her staff placing it on the Array. In words not even a unicorn would understand she speaks. Soon after during the dark hour Rota Fortuna appears. "[glow=purple,2,300]So Rotara. IS she ready for tomorrow night.[/glow]" Rotara looks to the sleeping aurora and nods her head, "[glow=purple,2,300]The cards have shown a combined destiny with the one here at this dorm. Even if I were to say no she isn't the cards say that she is. She will awaken as a stage two summoner tomorrow night. She will be able to call forth the legendary summons. I fear though that if you are called it would reveal too much about us. She will be receiving the Persona Summoner's Gun as part of the wheel's revealing of her awakening? I hope for all of our sakes these ones can do it this time. All the others who have tried have failed.[/glow]" Rota Fortuna nods and vanishes. Rotara however just goes invisible to the normal yes of the pony folk. She waits for her mistresses morning call.

Mage didn't really respond, however, he took the book nonetheless

"Could be interesting to give it a read... I guess..." thought Mage.

Mage then left the shop and headed home.

Once he got home, it was to late to study, so, he simply went to bed and quickly fell asleep.

((Guys... Mage doesn't live in the dorms. Not yet. He needs to awaken to his Persona first. I think? So he's excluded from the fortune that states that it involved them all. Though he will be once he moves to the dorms. ))

((The fortune predicts the future. It could be near future or distant future. but the fortune applies. That is how fortune telling works. Aurora doesn't know when her fortunes come to pass but she does know that they come to pass usually within a few weeks to a few months. BTW am waiting for the morning post. Aurora is sleeping now.))

Rotara heads out of the room making sure the wards are held to protect aurora from the shadows that lurk during the dark hour. Rotara goes in search of the one called Twilight Sparkle.

((Rotara is currently invisible except to alicorns and magic users with powerful sight spells.))

Blob stopped. meh, i'll just go to karaoke. And so he did. and sung some next-persona-generation songs. like "Reach Out to the Truth." and "Time to Make History"

Sabrina had gone to her room and studied before falling asleep.

---Early Morning---
Blue was shuffling in her bed, she had problems sleeping tonight, although she fell asleep right as she got to bed, she woke up about an hour later and wasn't able to get any more sleep since. She sat up and looked at her alarm clock. "Ug... four in the morning... Let's get ready for school..." she grumbled to herself and backed her stuff for the day, brushed her mane and tail and then sat down on her bed and sighed, turning on the TV and watching for a bit, as she still had more then enough time before going to school.

((Rotara was looking for twilight last night. Would it be ok if she talked with twilight that morning, Hunter?))

Aurora woke She knew that the full moon was tonight she already could feel the fact of A.) She couldn't sense Midnight. B.) Lay next to her bed were the Lunar Moonlight Twin sabers. Also laying next to the sabers was her deck with a wrapped card on top. Aurora knew that when certain events or rank ups accrued things like that may happen. Aurora is up with the sun, normally well before the others would be up. Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Rotara are you there? It will be a full moon tonight.[/glow]" Aurora was meet with silence. She knew Rotara would always be near unless something had come up. 'Rotara must have been given a task to complete' Aurora thought.

Aurora heads down stairs to the kitchen to get something to drink. her mouth was dry and her sleep was a bit on the restless side. She had the constant feeling of being watched while she slept. She knew not why but her acute sense of perception was one of the reasons she was called to try her hoof at summoning by her mother.

Blob woke up in bed, barely remembering how he got there. he got up groggily and made his way to school.

After a few minutes of watching the TV Blue's stomach growled. She sighed and turned the machine off, left her room and as quietly as possible trotted to the kitchen. Once there she was surprised that she isn't the only pony up. "Morning, Aurora." She whispered and fixed herself a bowl of cereal, sitting at the table and eating slowly she tried to start a conversation. "You two couldn't sleep?"

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]As a summoner it has become a habit to wake up early. By the way, Have you seen Rotara this morning at all? I called to her and she didn't respond. I know she hasn't returned to her world yet because tonight is the full moon. I found my lunar moonlight twin sabers by my bed this morning. It always happens the day of the full moon.[/glow]" Aurora is drinking a warm herbal tea. she holds out a second glass to Blue and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Here have some. It helps with those who are summoners in training, and are needing to wake up early. It also helps those who aren't particularly a morning pony.[/glow]"

"Thanks." Blue took the tea and drank a bit. "I guess you can say i am more of a 'non sleeping' pony than anything else. Always had issues with it." She giggled and drank some more. "And no, i haven't seen Rotara since yesterday."

"[glow=navy,2,300]I wonder where she could be. That one has always had a mind of her own. Well....Who can blame her? She is the apprentice of fate after all. Out of all my summons she is the only one who acts on their own.[/glow]" Aurora says as she drinks the herbal tea. she then says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I myself am more of a day sleeper to be honest with you. but because Lady Luna wanted me to learn about magic itself sense she found out about my summoning powers. I had to shift from staying up all night, to admire her night, to sleeping threw it. it is a long story. But part of it is easy enough to tell by asking a simple question. Have you ever heard of Lunis, the Lunar Capital?[/glow]"

Blue rested her head on a hoof and slowly eat her cereal. "No, not really." she answered and yawned.

Aurora nods and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]During Luna's 1000 year banishment. she created a form of life on the moon. They were called Lunar Ponies. Their capital was Lunis. A great tree sits in the center of town but even the lunar ponies knew not what was inside the tree. the name of the creature that eventually came out of the tree is forbidden to be spoken by either the alicorns or us Lunar ponies. I can say what they are. so beware the shadows that consume the flesh.

I am a descendant of the last Lunar Pony. That tale is recounted as part of my family history. One part of our history, that I am not happy about, got our family cursed by Luna. Our light and shadow were to become two beings. Essentially two spirits inhabiting one body. On the nights of the full moon and new moon, the two spirits would normally fight. Because they are even, no matter the moon's phase, they would slay each other and the body would die.

About three years ago I by accident figured out how to prevent it. By becoming loyal to Luna the curse itself that made the two fight would be broken. I however didn't figure it out in time and mother passed before I could tell her. It is because myself, my light, and [glow=red,2,300]midnight[/glow], My shadow, being linked to the moon in this manor, that I am able to sense the coming of the full and new moons. Our seperate names are what make up the whole of my full name Midnight Aurora. I was given this name because A.) I was born on the night of a full moon surrounded by a bursting aurora and B.) because I was born at midnight exactly.[/glow]"

Aurora pauses for a moment to let the info sink in and then says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Now you know about as much as anypony would about me.[/glow]"

Blue yawned. "Interesting..." She said with her eyes closed and continued to eat her breakfast. It was pretty much clear that she didn't pay attention to Aurora at this point.

Aurora put another glass of the tea in front of her and got up to go study her summoner's guide. Aurora went to study the section in the guide about the legendary summons. She doesn't know why she keeps reading this chapter over and over again, but she feels she needs to know what is in here for something. when it is time to go to school aurora is already by the door waiting for the others. She prefers walking with them to the train.

Blue finished her breakfast as well as the second cup of tea, put the used bowl and tea cup in the sink and returned to her room, to get her bag, and the walked in front of the dorm, waiting for others. All this time she held her eyes closed, almost sleeping while standing. "Another great day of school..." She whispered while standing outside.

Sabrina woke up early without feeling like she needed to sleep longer. She quickly put on her vest, brushed her mane and tail while dipping them in hot water.
Then she took some home-made bread cookies that she could eat when she got out of the dorms.
The mare looked at the scheme and packed her saddlebag, not as much as yesterday cause she found it not as needful.
There was something she knew she had forgotten, but not what. She continued and walked out and was on her way to the train.
((We need to ride a train to the school every morning I presume))

As aurora came to the door she saw Blue again. she says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Hey Blue. You seam to be in a better mood now. Did the tea help?[/glow]" Aurora stands waiting with her till it was time to get to and on the train.

Checkmate walked past the pair, stepping onto the train quietly.

Blue nodded "Yeah, it did. And it tasted really good." She smiled and blushed. "Oh, and about what you said earlier. I think it's kinda unfair that i know so much about you now, but you don't know as much about me. But i'm really not good in just talking, so if you have any questions, just ask."

Blob had already gotten to the subway. he sat, reading a book.

Aurora says, before getting on the train, "[glow=navy,2,300]Naw, it is fine. There is still plenty to learn and plenty to see. Well lets get to school.[/glow]" Aurora has the twin sabers with her but she quickly puts them in her bags right now they look like a set of bracers. the blades are no where to be seen. However, one can tell they do bear the moon's symbol and the tree aurora talked about before.

Sabrina sees Aurora enter the train and runs after her, when she gets on, she looks around seeing who she could sit next to.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Hey Sabrina. How fairs your morning? Also Be cautious tonight, There will be a full moon out. I also get the feeling something bad is going to happen.[/glow]" Aurora is near checkmate but not uncomfortably close to him.

((Am still waiting on Hunter's reply to my request to have Rotara talking with twilight this morning. That is why Rotara isn't around.))

Mage's alarm went off. He slammed his left hoof onto it to stop it. Mage groggily got out of bed. He was up to late last night. He forced himself out of bed, had his breakfast, and got ready for school.

"That's the last time I'm up that late, I swear..." thought Mage.

He got his things together, locked up his house, and began heading to school.

His eyes were droopy. He was still sleepy. He would have to bear with it and he would. No matter how much he wanted to, he would not allow himself to fall asleep in class. He didn't want to end up getting caught and getting lectured for it.

He slapped himself in the face with his front hooves to try to wake himself up. After that, he simply continued to walk to school.

Dusk yawned as he groggily woke up, dragging himself out of bed. He glanced at the clock, noting that he still had about 20 minutes before he needed to go. He grabbed his bags and went down to the dorm lounge, grabbed a sandwich, and made it onto the train, just as it was leaving.

"Morning Blue, Aurora." He greeted, seeing the two in a nearby seat.

J gets up a little early to get in some training before school. Around the time Dusk wakes up Flame heads downstairs to the lounge sitting at the table reading something

It is the night of the full moon. For us summoners, who have unique setups for their power, it means out power to summon is limited to that which we specialize in. For others it means unlimited power for even more then that it means the end. IT is hard to explain. I just have this feeling tonight I think we should call the others over for a sleep over. What do you think blue? Would Twilight approve a sleep over at the dorm?[/glow]" Aurora waits for their answers while polishing the bracer form of moonlight, Aurora's twin sabers.

Checkmate sat at the back of the train, reading his books.  Personally, while it was fun to get his fortune told, all of that was just fun in the end.

Sabrina sat down next to Aurora and raised her ears to the conversations around them.

Blob looked up from his book. Full moon, eh? lat couple of nights i've felt.... watched, or something. then again, my dreams were about video games, and such.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Not that kind of sleep over. That one is usually meant for say a filly's or cult's sleep over. This one is with us all in the same building. Some of us, if we wished, could stay up but it is normal sleep hours.[/glow]"

"Oh... and what's the point then? I mean, all of us already are living in the dorm, no?" Blue asked and rubbed her chin.

"I do" Sabrina answers, but soon regrets of being the first one saying it, its always awkward.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]The point is for those who don't to spend a bit of time with those of us that do? it is more of a bonding experience.[/glow]"

Blue rubbed her head. "And what do you mean by us then?" she question, confused.

Aurora shakes her head and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]The word 'us' refers to those who do live at the dorm. The sleepover would allow the ones who do live at the dorm to spend time with the ones who don't. so we can get to know each other a little better.[/glow]"

"There you go again. I don't get it." Blue sighed and tilted her head. "Those of us that do with those of us what don't." She gave extra proclamation to the 'us' words. "What do you mean by us?! Our class? Our generation? What?" she questioned, growing frustrated that she didn't understand what Aurora meant.

Checkmate narrowed his eyes, listening on the conversation.  This was getting interesting, and he wanted to see the reasoning behind all of the secrecy and planning.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Never mind. I also can't sleep a wink on the nights of the full or new moons. So I will just hang around. It seams that the night will be like all others.
Everypony usually goes to their own rooms. No pony really talks and gets to know each other, except when we are out of the dorm during the day. The sleep over was to change that even for one night. We could invite those we, you me and the rest of the dorm, have meet in these past few days that don't stay at the dorms as well. This would allow us, you me and our new potential friends that we meet over the last couple of days, the chance to get to know each other.[/glow]"

((Grizzly, Is blue really that dense that she could figure out that aurora was talking about the potential new friends who didn't stay in the dorm and the ones who did stay at the dorm.))

((Uh... no. I don't. IIRC, a few of us don't move to the dorm until we obtain our Personas. Or at least that is what I understood from one of Hunter's original posts about it. I could be wrong though. So, in all honesty, I'm not sure.  :s ))

As to what it pertains to, Rotara knows about personas. Rotara was the one who put in the request for Aurora to be transferred before the next full moon into the dorm. Aurora is just about ready by Rotara's Standards to gain the Persona Summoning ability and Summoner's Merge 2 ability. Summoner's merge 1, only allows for the merging of the summoner with a single summons to allow for stronger summons to be called to fight. Summoner's Merge 2, will allow her to merge a summons with a persona.))

The train grinds to a screeching halt in front of the school building, 5 minutes before the first bell rings. Dusk quickly steps off the train, spotting Twilight speaking to a young alicorn filly.

Blue sighed as she trotted off of the train and to school. She visited the little filly's room to make sure her mane looked alright and then went straight to class.

Mage arrived at school, still a little tired. He noticed the filly alicorn from the shop talking to Princess Twilight.

Whatever they were talking about was really none of his business, though it would be a lie if were to say he wasn't curious about what they were discussing.

It really didn't matter anyway, Mage had to get to class. He walked past the two into the the school, went into the classroom, took his seat, and prepared his materials for class to begin.

Hopefully... Mage could force himself to stay awake...

Blob puta bookmark on his page, and started walking towards his homeroom.

Sabrina walked into the classroom and sat down, waiting for their teacher to arrive. She looked around in the room in the meantime, hoping to find something that could entertain her, but, the rooms colour and form was plain simple and nothing unique caught her eyes. She gasps and puts her pencils on the desk while laying her head against her hoof in a sign of being bored.

Rotara and twilight seam to be talking as if they had known each other for some time.

Rotara's words come out in a language any non Alicorn wouldn't know.

Twilgiht says, "[glow=purple,2,300]So it is then time for that. Ok I know what to do. Lady Fortuna must have something planed then. yes. yes. I know. for now she is assigned to the dorm just like the others. If what is said about it is true then they will not be the only ones. Really now? She did a group prediction and still that card came up. hmmm I need a list of all who would be affected by that prediction on my desk soon. No Rotara, she can't make use of the cannon. It falls out of her league. Being a summoner already, she can call forth beings of great power. I know and will leave that to you and Rota Fortuna to keep a hoof on it. Now I have to get to class before it starts and you have a summoner to watch. Yes it will appear tonight. the signs show as much.[/glow]"

for any who listened only twilight's side of the conversation was heard but it is still not enough to get what they were talking about. Rotara vanishes from sight and aurora not really paying any attention to the conversation has already gone to class.

((Because of the language used by Rotara, only twilight's side would have been understood. It is a bit of foreshadowing. But when beings of great power talk they tend not to say too much. that is why some of twilly's words are cryptic. it will raise questions. that is what it was designed to do. Rotara didn't expect to have this talk with her so late in the morning.))

Checkmate was in his usual spot in the back of the classroom, playing chess with himself while waiting.

J ends up sitting next to Checkmate looking over to him Playing Chess alone hm? He asks I would figure it'd be boring after a bit.

Of course not, you only learn by playing against the best possible opponents.  Checkmate said without looking up.

hm okay I'm not too good at it but I also enjoy a nice game of chess He says before looking forward again feeling like he's probably bugging Checkmate

Checkmate sighed, resetting the board.  If you wish to play, just say so.

Dusk raises an eyebrow as he hears Twilight's words, but can't understand the younger alicorn's words. Shrugging it off, he quickly trots to class, just as the first bell rings.

About 5 minutes after the bell rings, an older, mint green, unicorn mare trots into the room. "Good morning class, and welcome to Mythical Creatures 101! I'm your host, Professor Lyra Heartstrings! But, please, call me either Professor Heartstrings, Mrs. Heartstrings, or just Lyra, I'm not too picky. Now, please open your textbooks to page 42. Oh, 42, that brings up so many memories of my time traveling the universe, searching for the meaning of life with a crazy stallion in a blue box. The sad thing is, the only answer I found was 42... Professor Heartstrings continues to ramble, will you fall asleep, or will you stay awake?

Class 2-Fb (Blob King, Midnight Aurora and Naura's class)

The class walks into the room to find a brown earth pony stallion, with a dark brown mane and tail and an hourglass cutie mark waiting for them. Once they were all seated, the stallion puts on a goofy grin before saying, "Good morning class, are we sitting comfortably? Good! Now, my name is Dr. John Smith, but please, just call me the Doctor. You are now about to enter the realm of history! Before we begin, I have a quick starter question to begin the lesson. Out of the following names, what is the stage name of the stallion who wrote 'Moonrise: A Symphonic Metal Opera'?

Blue yawned and rested her head on her hoof. I'll just close my eyes for a minute... She said and almost fell asleep. When she was almost out her head slipped from her hoof and she hit herself on the desk, which waked her, she rubbed her nose. With a red nose and a gentle blush she payed attention, making sure not to sleep again, it would be too embarrassing for her.

Aurora politely raises a hoof and waits to be called on. when she is called on she says,

This also gave him something to do so he wouldn't fall asleep.

Checkmate sighed, taking more notes.  As much as this bored him, it was better than running the risk of missing important information.

Aurora seams more interested in the fact that The Doctor was teaching, then the actual lecture he started after the question. Aurora waits till class ends and then would approach the doctor.

J does the same taking more notes though he would stray off and end up doodling something next to his notes most of the time strange sigils and markings

Sabrina thought at first that she wouldn't like the song to much, since she isn't into rock music, but the song was actually suprisingly good.

blob frowned at his wrong answer. it was a metal/orchestral sounding name, so, hethought... nevermind.

Mage continues to take diligent notes from the lecture until the class was over.

It didn't take long for Sabrina to start to mimic the song when she got into it.

Dusk exited his class with Lyra, still in shock at how quickly the lesson had turned into an account of her adventures. In any case, his stomach was telling him to go eat some lunch.

Checkmate had left the classroom silently, sitting in the darkest corner of the school to eat.

Sabrina took the usual and sat down at a table next to a window so she could look on something if she got bored.

Aurora is in the cafeteria having a nice Crystal Empire fruit salad with clear crystal glaze dressing. She seams to be eating quite the high sugary foods today. she looks around to see who is all in the cafeteria today.

J sits on the room meditating instead of eating Lunch

Right when the bell rang Blue's stomach growled, and was growling the entire way to the mess hall, which was embarrassing for her, the whole way she wore a gentle blush and nervously looked around, hoping nopony will hear her stomach. Once she could pick out a meal she took a lot of pretty much everything they offered for lunch and walked to get seated, with a mountain of food on her plate.

((Is anypony sitting next to Sabrina? Then I'd like to start a conversation with 'em))

"What was your lesson about?" Sabrina asks while she lifts her sandwich to her mouth.

"Oh, just on how the universe was created." Blue giggled and started to munch on a few tomatoes.

Blob sat down anywhere he could find a seat not caring by who he sat. he had a lunchbox with a soda, a sandwitch, and chocolate.

"Oh, but that sounds rather intresting, who was the teacher? Twilight?" Sabrina says and starts to munch one her sandwich.

"No, professor Hearstring." Blue answered and put a whole tomato in her mouth. "And how was your class?"

"Hmm, pretty fine, we had this teacher... Smith something? He wanted to be called "Doctor" anyway, which gave us questions on music" Sabrina says after she swallowed the piece sandwich and looks at the blue mare.

"About music? So he has like a art class or something? Hmm, Smith you say? Must be a new teacher." Blue continued with the conversation while working her way through the giant pile of food in front of her, onlookers would be puzzled where exactly is the small mare putting all of it.

Aurora comes over and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]May I join y'all? I couldn't help but over hear you were talking about the doctor. He is what I would call unique.[/glow]"

"Go ahead, Aurora, i don't mind." Blue nodded and smiled, then continued working through her lunch.

Blob continnues eating and not talking, but listening to the conversation from behind.

Aurora nodded and sat down, "[glow=navy,2,300]The question seamed to be about music, but I think another application was used with it. I think he used it to start a history lesson. probably thought it best to use something we could relate to get us interested before teaching the lesson itself.[/glow]"

"Yeah" Sabrina says and starts to munch on some strawberries she brought in a box.

Once the bell rang, Mage headed to the cafeteria, bought some basic lunch, sat at a table, and simply began eating.

((I'm just going to have Mage eat by himself, though if any of you want to talk to him, feel free too  :s ))

"But, the teacher you had... Heartstrings was it? I think I've heard the name before, was she here the last year? I'm guessing its a mare" Sabrina asks and ate some more strawberries.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Yea. Miss Heartstrings is in charge of the mythological creatures class. Though to be honest with you, I know of one who could have done a better job. Miss Shy could have done allot better last year then Miss Heartstrings.[/glow]"

"Oh yeah, I remember her" Sabrina says with a smile on her face.
"I even got a private lesson from her once, it was amazing how much she knows about animals and mythical creatures" Sabrina replies and giggles.

"It is indeed impressive Sabrina," Dusk says as he settles into the seat beside Blue. "What's even more impressive is the fact she finds the courage to, not just take care of them, but teach us about them too."

Checkmate overlooked the ponies eating and sitting together and grumbled, returning to his book.

blue was still working through her mountain of food, but gradually it got smaller and smaller.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Quick question, are we all at the dorm or does some of us not live there. I was thinking of a sleep over at the dorm with all our friends.[/glow]"

Blue finally finished with her food, leaned back, patted her now plump belly and sighed in delight. "Ah, that was good." She let out a barely audible burp, covered her mouth and blushed.

Sabrina licked of the remainings of the strawberries on her cheek.

((Alright, I'm gonna introduce a new element, completely unique here, though I am partially stealing from Attack on Titan... X3
Also, it will be following Twilight, but from Dusk's perspective.))

Dusk quickly finished his food, just as an unfamiliar bell rang. Twilight, sitting not far away groaned. "Ugh, not again. Why can't I ever get a quiet Wednesday?" She spread her wings and took off, grabbing what looked like two long, light blades in her magical grip.

Dusk rushed to the window to find a great black portal closing behind a massive... thing! It looked like an ordinary pony, but with a few key differences. Firstly, it was 15 feet tall. Secondly, it had very little skin, let alone fur, showing the muscle on the body, and the teeth in it's impossibly huge mouth. Finally, it seemed to have a taste for pony flesh, since it attempted to grab ponies and eat them.

Dusk watched as Twilight swooped in with her blades, plunging them into the eyes of the giant pony, blinding it. She then flew behind it, slicing an enormous chunk of flesh out of the back of its neck. With that, the creature's eyes rolled back in its sockets as it fell over dead, the body quickly evaporating into steam.

"Um, what did I just watch?" Dusk asked to no one in particular.

"Titan attack," a voice spoke beside him. Dusk turned to find none other than Blue standing next to him. "It typically only happens here in Canterlot, so I'm not surprised you've never seen one before. We don't know much, but what we do know is that they come from another dimension, and that their only weakness is the back of their neck. Beyond that, we have absolutely no idea what they are."

Dusk nods, not sure how to respond as he turns away from the window and heads back to class. Thus he gets a first hand look at Princess Twilight's fighting skills. Skills that he would eventually see again.

((Sorry for not letting you know about this ahead of time, Grizzly, it was really just a spur of the moment thing X3))

Sabrina looks at the princess like it was nothing usual, she had seen those attacks before.

((OK, I feel I should explain that scene a little. That scene was to show everypony what sort of skill set Twilight has. The Titans appearances will be few and far between, just a side note really for the main RP. However, there will be one appearance that corresponds with a boss battle, so the boss will be teaming up with a Titan. Hope this clears up any questions you guys might have X3))

Blue was speechless.

Sabrina went and got more food and then sat down next to Blue, munching on her treats.

((As much as I like AoT too myself, I just don't feel like this fits here. This needs to remain a Persona RP. But obviously that's just IMO  :s ))

Mage had no idea what just happened, however, he was speechless with how easily Princess Twilight took out the large... whatever the hell that thing was as his mouth was agape again and he wasn't even moving with how shocked he was.

Blob mostly just stared in confusion.

Aurora grins and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]That makes 12 points this year for team Canterlot. IT is a 12 to zip landslide win currently for team Canterlot. Twilight, why'd you have to go and show off like that today?[/glow]" Aurora chuckles. finishes the remaining parts of her food and then heads back to class.

Twilight shrugs, "Not my fault the Titans can't take a hint and back off. Besides, its better to put everything into attacks like that, better to overkill then underkill, if you know what I mean. Anyway, should all start heading to class, the bells gonna ring any second now."



Dusk staggered out of the chemistry room, followed closely by the rest of his class, as well as a large cloud of smoke. "That's the last time I take a class with a wall-eyed pegasus mare as the professor," he managed to choke as he coughed into his hoof.

The aforementioned professor, Professor Ditzy Doo, also known as Derpy Hooves looked around her empty classroom, sighing. [shadow=black,left][glow=black,2,300]"I just don't know what went wrong..."[/glow][/shadow] she said to no one in particular.

Blue noticed the sad mare and walked to her "Are you alright?" she asked with a caring voice.

Aurora is fanning her wings to clear the smoke. Before heading out to see who is available today to hang out. She decides to head to the park for a relaxing time before night comes. She mutters to herself, "[glow=navy,2,300]Tonight is the full moon. Normally a Summoner would try to take my moonlight shine summon matrix. However I think something played by the cards is going to show instead.[/glow]"

((Midnight's Fortunes is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.))

Once class was over... Mage let out a sigh of relief. He started looking around for the familiar ponies to see if any of them would be willing to hang out with him.

However... something was bothering him. He couldn't exactly put his hoof on it, but, something definitely seemed wrong. Something inside of him, almost like a gut instinct, was telling him he should simply go home and do nothing today.

This bothered Mage to no end, he wasn't sure what to do...

((Okay I'm a little confused here. Is today the night of the full moon or not? That's why I made this post, assuming it was the night of the full moon.  :s ))

Blob was not in said chemistry class, and was instead in a very intersting Magical Technology class. [I'll let HOTD decide who teaches that.] He left, and noticed his favorite former-mailmare-but-now-teacher, also being his favorite teacher in general. Um... Mrs. Doo? Are you alright?

Blue smiled and sat next to Ditzy. "Wan't to talk about it?" she asked.

Ditzy nodded. [glow=black,2,300][shadow=black,left]"I would,"[/shadow][/glow] she glanced at the clock and sighed. [glow=black,2,300][shadow=black,left]"But, I need to go pick up my daughter. Another time perhaps."[/shadow][/glow] The grey professor then took off, but not without giving a sad smile to Blue.

"Anytime you want to talk, i'll listen gladly." Blue answered with a wide, comforting smile, even though she was much younger than the professor.

((Just a quick question, Where is Dinky Doo? If she is in the park Aurora is there to sort out her thoughts in preparation for the night to come.))

Blob just left, looking to maybe hang out  with somepony.

J heads back up to the roof watching the view from the top of the school wondering if anypony else would come up here around this time

Everypony seemed to be leaving.

Mage decided to head to the library and study to make up for the one night when he didn't study. If somepony came in to talk to him, that would be fine too.

However... Mage's strange feeling was still bothering him... but he tried to ignore it as he went into the library and began extensively studying...

[so, hang out with Mage, J, or Aurora? tough choice...]

Dusk returns to the dorm for some much needed sleep.

((Alright, sorry I haven't done anything with this for a while, but now its time to move on))

It was starting to get late, so, Mage finished studying the page he was currently looking at and closed the book he was studying.

He stood up and stretched out his front hooves and yawned. He put the book he was studying away and headed home.

Mage had studied enough for one day, so, once he got home, he went straight to bed.

Aurora spent time at the park thinking and preparing. she aligns her summoning matrix for the moon's coming phase adjustment. She then heads back to the dorm.

((Ok, I'm gonna jump ahead a bit to get the story moving. It is now the Dark Hour, and those at the dorm are asleep, except for Twilight, Blue, Blueblood and J, since he's gonna be the Akihiko of the group. So, I'm gonna go ahead and take control of J and Blue for this next part, so, yeah. Time for the Shadows to make an appearance))



All was quiet in the dorm, the inhabitants fast asleep except for Blueblood, J, Twilight and Blue, all of whom were were in various locations of the building watching for anything amiss. As usual, however all was quiet, until J spotted something unusual.

"Hey guys? Take a look over that way and tell me I'm not seeing what I think I'm seeing." J said, pointing to a large blob in the distance.

Blue and Twilight ran over, looking out the window.

"No!" Blue breathed in shock "It can't be!"

Twilight's eyes narrowed as she took in the sight before her. "Star! Go get the others in the dorm and take them out the out the back! Me and J will hold it here!" she pulled out the same swords as before, grasping one in each of her wings. Blue just stood there in shock, staring at the monstrosity before her. "What are you waiting for? Go!"

With a quick nod, Blue went to do as she was told.

((Returning control to original players. Time to get serious! Grizzly, come and wake up Dusk first, then we'll wake up the rest of the dorm together. I need to know how many of you are in the dorm, so please let me know in the OOC thread who is in the dorm. Oh, and just a heads up, if you like Sword Art Online, go check out the new RP I started for SAO.))

Blue galloped upstairs, and burst right through the door to Dusk's room. She walked to the sleeping pony and shook with him a few times, while exclaiming with a panicked voice. "Dusk! Dusk! Wake up! We have to move, now!" She had a expression of pure horror in her face.

Rotara had been meditating along with Aurora. It would seam the two were asleep until Rotara opened her eyes and says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Aurora, get you cards. It is coming. We need more information. I have not sensed a summoning like this before. it is dark and it is huge.[/glow]"

Aurora nods and grabs her deck. She also grabs the now glowing moonlight twin sabers. She then opens her door to see blue heading into dusks room. She says, "[glow=navy,2,300]What's the rush? It is this dark summoning Rotara sensed just now?[/glow]" As she sets her deck, she notices a blank slate card in it. She looks to Rotara and Rotara says, "[glow=purple,2,300]It is a Blank Legendary Summons Card. Why it would be there, I do not know. Keep it in your deck for now. It may help us later. The large summoning is getting closer.[/glow]"

The sudden noise of Blue kicking open his door, and then being shaken by her, Dusk awakens in a panic. "Bwah! Whats going on? Whats with the light? Why are you panicking?!"

Fore now Rotara merges with Aurora. Runic marking appear all over Aurora. Aurora's wings also double in mass. Aurora and Rotara say as one, "[glow=blue,2,300]Blue, what is wrong? Is it that huge summoning we detected a moment ago?[/glow]"

The small blue mare had no idea how to handle this. "No, yes, i don't know! We need to wake the others and get out of here via the back exit, now! Twilight's orders." She said quickly and walked to the next door, making as much noise as possible to wake everypony up.

Aurora helps blue and tries to calm her down. Aurora goes to the next room and tries to wake the next pony up. "[glow=blue,2,300]Come on, wake up. There is no time to explain. We got to go.[/glow]"

((Um... my character [Mage] does not live in the dorms. Not yet anyway. So whoever that is isn't me.))

((she is just helping wake the others in the dorm. Game Master gets to decide who she wakes.))

J's horn glows as his scythe materializes it front of him  Alright let's go we need to keep this thing away He says waiting for Twilight

Blob conviniently wakes up, but doesn't get out of bed.

Dusk decides not to argue, and goes to Blob's room, bursting in yelling "Get up! Need to go! Twilight's orders!"

When the words: "Twilight's Order!" went into Sabrinas ears, she woke up immedietly.
"Huh? What's happening?" Sabrina roars out.
"What does Twilight want us to do?" She says with a calmer voice and walks out of the room with a sandwich, a mane brush and a newly packed saddlebag levitating in her blue magic.

Mrah.... Blob gets up, and notices the urgency. he grabs the closest thing he has to a weapon, being an extra shower pole, and leaves as quickly as could. What the hay is going on?

"No clue," Dusk replied. "I'm just going with what Blue said."

Blue goes through every other room, getting all the sleeping dormsmates up and about. "No time to explain everypony. We're in danger and we gotta move, now! Follow me outside!" Blue said loud enough for everyone to hear her. She walked to and down the stairs, hopefully followed by the others.

'Blue, can you hear me?' came a mental shout from Twilight.

Blue charged her horn and created a mental connection to Twilight, while still leading the group down. "Yes, senpai, i hear you loud and clear."

'The back door is blocked, make a stop at the armory on the fourth floor, then get to the roof! Everypony needs to be ready to fight! The one we're fighting down here isn't the same one that J spotted earlier, so stay alert!'

So, am i going to have to hit something with this shower rod?
[i'm going out for lunch, so i'll be gone for a bit.]

Sabrina uses one of her sneaky spells to hotwire the last part of the talk between Blue and Twilight. Usually she is sneaky about her spells, but this time isn't great for that. She goes to the middle of the group and shouts.
"Everypony who is ready for a fight to the roof! But first stop by at the armory!"

Oh, good. i prefer sharp things to blunt objects. Wait, you have a freaking armory? Sweet celsestia on a stick, this place is awesome!

Aurora says, "[glow=blue,2,300]I have moonlight & moonshadow, my twin sabers, and if we are on the roof then moonlight will have direct full moon's light and be at full power. Also I have Rotara, my summons, and Rotara's Staff of Fate.[/glow]"

Mage began to squirm in bed and was constantly moving. He began to sweat and was tense as well as he continued to move around as he slept.

He was having a bad dream. A dream that involved all the new ponies that he had met. They were in trouble, and, he could do nothing to help them. The dream was so bad... that he couldn't seem to wake himself up from it...

((I don't like not being able to post so here's a post from me that all of you can just ignore I guess.  :( ))

Once in the armory Blue went to the back and opened a container, pulling out and putting on a shelved dagger, She had the strap of the dagger around her neck. "This way to the roof." she pointed to the stairs once leaving the armory, waiting for the others to finish gearing up.

aurora waits with blue, five cards held in her wing. She says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Alexander the guardian realm defender, The blank slate again, the wild card, the wheel of fate and...[/glow]" She gains the look of a surprised card drawer. She then says, "[glow=purple,2,300]...Wow, Another wild card. Why does this always happen on my first draw during the full moon? I got two wild cards. I can summon just about anything with these.[/glow]" Aurora seams ready for anything now. she follows blue where ever she goes. On the back of one of the wild cards, blue notices a mask instead of the wheel of fate or fortune deck marker the other cards have. this one also gives off a glow that is similar to her cannon. blue seams to be the only one to notice the glow of the card.

Sabrina quickly ate up and teleported the brush back to her room. Then she carefully looked at what the armory offerd her. Her eyes went over daggers, swords and armor. She chose some boots made out of iron and a iron body armor. She couldn't take a helmet cause that would lower her evasion drastically. She then levitated a sword that looked sharper than some of the others and set it into the holder in her armor. Then she took after Blue who seemed to know exaclty what was going on.

(( well i meant it as= the belt connected to the sheath of a dagger or a sword. Blue's dagger is made so that she just throws the 'belt' around her neck so that she can draw the dagger with light movement of her head, holding the thing in her teeth. ))

Blob grabbed a simple longsword, not thinking heavy aarmor would be neescesary. all he had on was his school uniform

Dusk walked down along the shelves of weapons, looking for something he could use. His eyes finally fell upon a long, black sword. The Elucidator. He quickly grabbed it in his telekinetic grip, and galloped out to where everypony else was.

"Quickly!" called Blue. "To the roof!" She then took out a couple hoof cannons and began passing them out. "Take these as well, you'll know what to do with them!"

Everypony nodded, quickly galloping up the last set of stairs, grabbing a hoof cannon as they ran past Blue. The group quickly ran through the door, locking it behind them.

"OK, we should be safe now." Blue sighed in relief.

"Or not," Dusk replied, pointing to a black shape pulling itself up. A hand holding a blue mask was shoved up to eye level and turned this way and that, getting a good look at the roof. Several hands soon followed, each one holding a short sword.

'Blue!' Twilight's telepathic voice called in Blue's head. 'Don't go up to the roof! The anomaly is up there!'

"Um, its a bit late for that now, senpai" Blue gulped in fear. "D-don't worry, everypony, I should be able to summon mine... the young mare pulled out her hoof cannon. "I just... Put it to my head... And pull the trigger..." she muttered, clenching her eyes shut. But before she could work up the nerve to pull the trigger, the black creature jumped onto the roof, taking a swipe at Blue, knocking her unconscious. The rest of the group suddenly felt the urge to bring their own hoof cannons to their heads, the group collectively closing their eyes.

"Per... Son... A!" The group cried in unison, pulling their triggers as they snapped their eyes open. Immediately behind each and every one of them, creatures materialized.

'I am thou... they each heard, though it was a different voice for each of them. 'And thou art I...' the group didn't have long to marvel at this though, as they all fell to their knees in pain, clutching their heads. The creatures were all in an equal amount of pain, as a strange force pulled them together, joining them together into one creature. It roared and charged at the black creature, ripping it to shreds before giving a roar of victory, and once again separating into the individual creatures once again.

((Don't worry, you get to write about the actual fight with the minor Shadows, I just needed to get the Persona awakening out of the way. Grizzly, your character needs to regain consciousness and notice the Shadows crawling towards you.))

"Blue!" Sabrina shouted and ran up to her classmate.

((Of! Quick thing before I forget, if you remember in P3, the character Ryoji was sealed inside the protagonist. It'll be similar in this, but Ryoji will be split and sealed inside all the characters on the roof, except for Blue, hence why all the Personas fused together to create Thanatos. Hope I was able to answer a few questions before they came up ^-^))

Blue was unconscious, with a cut injury on her head from the Shadow's slash attack. She wasn't reacting to any stimuli.

"How do you feel? What can I do? What do I do..." Sabrina starts to panic.

Dusk was about to run to help Sabrina, but then notices something. There were still remains of the black creature, and they were begining to move on their own, aiming to attack.

"Sabrina, we can worry about Blue later, right now we need to get rid of these things!" With these words, Dusk leaps into action, swinging his Elucidator into one of the attackers.

((I will put together the post for combat once everypony has posted at least once))

"Mhmm" Sabrina replies and lifts the sword from before with a levitaion spell and swings it against the monsters.

Aurora seams to have already engaged the creatures.

Aurora pulled out Rotara's staff and calls out, "[glow=navy,2,300]Summon gate! Come forth Rotara, Apprentice of Fate.[/glow]"
As the summon Matrix opens Rotara seams to have been called out of Aurora. Rotara looks a little confused, but it seams she trusts Aurora. Aurora then removes the Alexander card from her hand and says, "Summoning Union! Merge Rotara and Alexander."
rotara gains what looks to be armor of a fortress guardian mage. Rotara then realizes that Aurora was boosting her def stats. Rotara says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Nice one. You boosted my defense because Alexander's offense is useless on the night of the full moon. But I think you might want to try a Summoning Merge using the wheel of fate and both wild cards.[/glow]" Aurora says, "[glow=Navy,2,300]Next time. We needed the Def boost first. Then I merge summon. You mean the legendary blank slate with the Wild cards Right?[/glow]" Aurora seams to have spent her actions for the time being.

Rotara gains DEF and MDEF up stat boosts for the duration of the merge. Alexander's HP acts like a HP shield for Rotara. When The shield fails her defense boosts also expire.

((OK, time for the combat tutorial. Remember, once we are in battle, we can't move on until the battle is done. For this battle, since it is the first one, we will not be using HP/SP (health points and spirit points) what will happen in the first post of a battle, is I will post the characters that are fighting, the enemies they're facing, the moves they can use, and their HP and SP. If my character, Dusk, is fighting as well, the first post for a battle will also have his first move as well. Now, lets see if this made sense. Sabrina ran up to one of the blobs, first stomped on one of them, and cut with her sword towards another one of them.

Aurora has Rotara fall back defensively, and Fortuna use Bufu on one of the remaining shadow creatures.

Blob Stabs the remaining thing seemingly crawling out of the ground, not knowing the name because he has no way to.

Dusk quickly follows this up by putting the hoof-cannon to his head again, summoning Black Frost and shouting "Agilao!" The dark blob is immediately engulfed in flames.

With the black, blob-like creatures destroyed, the entire group on the roof start to feel dizzy, one by one falling to the floor, unconscious. Blue comes to, just in time to see Dusk fall, quickly running over to check on him and the rest of the group.

As she comes too and sees the passed out ponies Blue runs to them, calling their names and checking them, but she didn't gen an answer. When Twilight got to the roof Blue was panicking, tears in her eyes. After some calming down they took the passed out ponies to the hospital. Several days go by, two weeks actually, and all the ponies were still passed out. They were all in one hospital bed, and blue watched over their sleep, all of them saved her life, this was the least she could do.

Checkmate stepped into the hospital to visit those who had been involved in the incident.  Not because he cared, but because he wanted to know more about what had happened.

As Check stepped in the hospital and asked for the unconscious ponies he was directed to their room by a nurse. When he walked in Blue turned her head. Her mane and tail were messed up, she had baggy eyes and her fur was a bit fluffier, clear indications that she hasn't sleep for some time. She waved her hoof tiredly in a 'hallo' gesture. 

Checkmate nodded: he was certain he'd never met this pony before.  Are any of them awake yet?

The blue mare shook her head. "No, but said they can wake up any moment now." she said with a tired voice.

Checkmate nodded and sat near the wall, checking a notepad before pulling out his game and playing against himself.

The blue mare sat still for a few minutes, but as she was here for so long she needed desperately some distraction. She was looking at Checkmate and soon just sighed and sat next to him, setting the board of the game anew. "So, what's your name?" she asked, all her shyness taken away by how tired she was.

Checkmate looked at her for a few seconds, his eyes zooming all around, before he spoke up.  Checkmate.

"I'm Blue Star, everypony calls me Blue." she said and made her first move. "You're a friend of anypony here?" she asked.

Checkmate looked at her confusedly.  Friend?

Blue tilted her head. "You don't know what a friend is?" she asked, and after a few seconds of silent staring she sighed. "Its like an acquaintance, but closer." she tried to explain.

Checkmate nodded, scribbling that down quickly.  Visible in the notebook was now the words "Friend=Vulnerability?"

As blue saw the scribble she frowned and sighed. "Friends aren't a vulnerability, they're a reliance. You got their back and they got yours, and there is strength in numbers." she sighed again and made another move.

Checkmate made his move, scribbling further and scratching out the "Vulnerability."  An ally, then?  Someone to be used when the moment suits it?

"That's more accurate. But there's a lot of trust in that alliance." she said with a sigh and made her move.

Checkmate made his move while scribbling further, his facial expression not changing.  "Friend=Trusted Ally: Trust?"

Blue made another move, sighing again. "So, what do you like? Your favorite food? Favorite color?" she questioned so that the conversation would not stall.

Checkmate moved quietly, before sighing.  He figured this mare couldn't hurt him with this knowledge.  Nothing, nothing, and nothing.

Blue raised an eyebrow. "So why do you play chess if you don't like it?" she asked and made another move.

Ponies seem to dislike it when I attempt strategems on them.

"You sound like Sherlock." Dusk groans as he comes to, having listened into the conversation.

"What's a strategem?" blue questioned, then turned her head to Dust, jumped away from her chair and the game and hurried to his side. "Oh my gosh you're awake!" she gasped. "Do you need anything?"

Checkmate watched quietly, keeping his words to himself.

Dusk chuckles. "A stratagem is another way of saying strategy. As for if I need anything, how about an explanation. What the hay happened back on the roof?"

Blue shrugged. "I was knocked out, when i came to you guys were out too, so i don't know." she said and folded her ears.

According to official reports, lights and sounds happened, and you were found unconscious.

Dusk frowns, knowing full well she was hiding something. "That wasn't what I was talking about. I meant everything that happened that night."

Checkmate went silent, ready to write.  He too wanted to know what had happened.

Sabrina walks into the room with a glass of water levitating in front of her.
"Hello everypony!"

Mage wasn't sure what to do. He had heard some sort of "accident" occurred at the nearby dorms which had hospitalized some ponies. He also knew that some of the ponies he had met, and he actually was starting to like, lived in the dorms.

School continued onward of course. After school though, Mage bought some flowers and a "Get Well Soon" card and headed for the hospital. He asked about the room at the receptionist desk, and entered the room.

When he entered... he saw two ponies playing chess with one another, and another pony with a glass of water.

Mage set down the flowers and the "Get Well Soon" card on a nearby table. One of the injured ponies had apparently awoken.

Checkmate scribbled all of their words down, taking it seriously.  He was not a skeptic when it came to supernatural ideas, mainly because it made more sense than the official story.

Aurora wakes up and says yawning, "[glow=navy,2,300]I have three things to say. One, What the heck happened? Two, Where are my summoning cards? and three I will ask when we get home.[/glow]"

Checkmate stared at the strange pony.  What happened?  Summoning-True?

Aurora looks at the one who asked and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I am a summoner. Normally on the night of the full moon my summons are not very effective against those shadow like things. but that night I called something out that seamed to have really been effective against them.[/glow]"

Rotara materializes and says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Well Aurora, You really gave me a fright but Rota told me you wouldn't die from that. Those 'SHADOWS' were really weak besides the big one. As for your deck, it seams a new function has been unlocked for it. So I had to get the deck analyzed by the summoner's guild. Here ya go. It seams you can now perform both persona fusion summonings and Legendary summonings. In the last 1000 years, you are the first summoner to be able to call forth the legendary summonings.[/glow]" Rotara hands the deck to Aurora. She then turns to blue and says, "[glow=purple,2,300]Blue I think it is time they new. Mage, you and Checkmate there Might want to step out before this conversation starts to get over your head. I mean no disrespect but for those who do not have a persona what will be said is not for your ears.[/glow]" Rotara waits for their response.

Mage didn't know what to say. Even the pony who told fortunes was saying the same thing. He honestly didn't know what to think at this point. He didn't know if this was one big joke or if they were truly being honest. If it was a big joke... it was going a bit far at this point.

Mage said nothing further. He headed for the exit of the room. However, first he stopped close to the chess-playing pony.

"Coming? They obviously don't want to tell us what's really going on here..." remarked Mage. Regardless of if the chess-playing pony followed him or not, Mage left the room anyway.

Once he was outside... he went into deep thought about these so-called 'Shadows' and 'Personas'

What were they? Were they dangerous? What exactly was going on here? Mage had too many questions... and not enough answers...

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]To be honest with you I had an idea about it. I have seen those shadows, as Rotara put it, for the last 6 months now. Every time the full moon came around, I would use Rotara's Time Stop Staff ability to slow them down, so I could make it home. As for those persona entities, They are new to me and it seams my deck is able to work with them to summon what is known to the summoner world as Persona summonings. Also I now realize that whatever the fooled jester, the wheel of fate and the wild card means, It has something to do with both the shadows and the personas we unlocked. Blue, how long were we out?[/glow]"

"Wait, TWO WEEKS?!?" Dusk all but screamed. "Whos been taking care of our notes and homework assignments?!?"

"I have." Blue said with a sigh.

Dusk calms down after he hears this, knowing his academic life is safe. His frown returns, however, as he turns back to Blue. "Now that we've got that out of the way, I believe you have some explaining to do."

Blue sighed again. "Yeah, i guess. Problem is that i really have no idea where to start..."

"How about you start with those things, and those weird creatures we summoned?"

Blue rubbed her head. "Well, we don't really know what exactly they are. We call them Personas. We use this..." she pulled out the cannon like object and showed it to Dusk and the others. "...to summon them. These things are envokers. You just point it to your head and pull the trigger. I can't really do it yet, so mine is just a training thingy." she tried to explain.

"Huh, so we basiclly kill ourselfs amd comeback back to life?" Sabrina said in a shocked tone.

"I... don't know. I never did it myself. Twilight senpai said that it feels like dying but you don't actually die." blue whispered.

J soon arrives at the hospital room he stands in the doorway leaning on the frame. Not saying anything yet.

Checkmate ignored him, pressing further into the corner and scribbling.

Besides, wouldn't really make a lot of sense for high school student to have a full time job at the hospital. A volunteer, maybe, but definitely not a full time employee))

The door opening caught Mage by surprise, and he jumped away from the door and tried to act innocent.

But the ponies seemed to just ignore him. Mage looked to the side and grind his teeth together.

Dusk trotted into the dorm after being released from the hospital, to find J, Twilight, Blue and Blueblood waiting for him.

[shadow=black,left]"Have a seat, Dusk; we're still waiting on the rest of your dorm-mates."[/shadow] Blueblood said as he entered.

Blue was just lurking in the background, not getting into anypony's way and successfully dodging attention. The happenings on the roof were a big blow to her already fragile self confidence. 'All i could do was get knocked out... I really am a liability...' she thought and tried to sneak out of the room. She didn't need to hear the speech anyway.

J was sitting on the couch waiting for the others to get back thinking to himself about the happenings a little while back

Mage went home, after the weirdness of the day was over and studied for a few hours before going to bed.

Sabrina trotted along the halls and suddenly saw Dusk, J, Blueblood and Twillight sitting in a room.
"What have I missed?"

Dusk shrugged, "I just came in, and I was told to sit down, I'm probably just as confused as you are."

"I guess I know what I shall do then" Sabrina replied and sat down next to them.

Aurora comes over to the others and has a seat. "[glow=navy,4,600]So that night on the roof, what happened to Rotara? Before she couldn't lay a hoof on those things.[/glow]"

Blue was sitting in a chair heavy in thoughts, interrupted by Auroras question she smiled. "Oh, hi. Sorry, i have no idea. And no, i have not seen her today."

Check stepped into the room quietly, hiding himself in a corner immediately.

((Finally! Now I can write out the introduction of the Dark Hour!))

Blueblood nodded. [shadow=blue,left]"Ah, now that we're all here, lets get down to business. Allow me to start by asking all of you newcomers this: would you believe me if I told you that a day consists of more than 24 hours?"[/shadow]

Everyone, except for J, Blue, Aurora and Twilight shook their heads, or tilted their heads to the side in confusion.

Twilight chuckles in amusement "I'm not surprised by your reactions. However, you've all experienced this truth firsthoof. Dusk, Blob, do you remember the night you two arrived? You had to have noticed the signs. The streetlights went out... Nothing was working... Coffins everywhere... The rest of you, on the night of the full moon, didn't you notice the green moon? Didn't it feel like you were all in a different time? That's what we call the Dark Hour -- a time hidden between one day and the next."

Dusk raised an eyebrow. "Hidden? Thats a bit far-fetched, don't you think?"

Blueblood shook his head, an amused smile playing across his face. [shadow=blue,left]"I know how you feel. Who would believe such a story? But the Dark Hour occurs each night right at midnight. It'll happen tonight, and every night to come."[/shadow]

J leaned forward in his seat. "Normal ponies don't realize it since they're all asleep inside their coffins. But that's not what makes the Dark Hour so interesting," he grinned. "You all saw those monsters. We call them 'Shadows'. They only appear during the Dark Hour and attack anypony not inside a coffin. It's our job to defeat them... Sounds exciting, doesn't it?"

Twilight glared at the teenage colt. "J! Why are you always like this? You just got hurt the other day!"

[shadow=blue,left]"Now, now. He does his work well,"[/shadow] Blueblood replied, attempting to diffuse Twilight's anger. He then turned his attention back to the new dorm occupants. [shadow=blue,left] "Long story short, we are the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad. SEES for short. On paper, we are classified as a school club. But in reality, this group is dedicated to exterminating Shadows, much like how the Titan Squad is dedicated to defeating any Titans that teleport into Equestria. Princess Twilight is the leader, while I am the club adviser."[/shadow]

"A Shadow feeds on the mind of its prey," Twilight explained. "The victim becomes a living corpse. They're responsible for most of the incidents in Equestria Daily, if not all of them."

Blob's eyes widden. "If that's the case, then how are we supposed to fight them?"

Blueblood chose to answer this question. [shadow=blue,left]"Although rare, there are those that can function during the Dark Hour. Some may even awaken to a power that enables them to fight the Shadows. Thats 'Persona' -- the power each of you used the other night. The Shadows can only be defeated by Persona-users. Which means its all up to you guys."[/shadow]

The newcomers tilted their heads in confusion.

"What he's trying to say is we'd like you to join us," Twilight explained. "The choice, however, is completely up to you."

((Alright! Finally we have activity! Now then, its time for your characters to make a decision. Will they join SEES, or will they simply try to live a normal life? Its your choice!))

Blue say quietly during the explanation. She listened only by half, she was lost in heavy thoughts about herself and the group she associates with.

Rotara comes in and saye, "[glow=navy,4,600]Sorry am late was chating with Mistress Rota. There seams to be more to it then that. Summoners like Aurora are also active during the dark hour. I and Rota Fortuna beleave that Aurora is the first summoner to awaken the persona fusion ability. It allows Aurora and the others to work together to create a large class summoning. Large summonings like the physical form of the persona cerberus. It can only be done using persona fusion. Also by making use of the summoning circle, we can create new more powerful personas and, maybe just maybe, Aurora can awaken the legendary persona summonings.[/glow]

Aurora asks, after listening to Rotara talk, "[glow=navy,2,300]So We can do things others similar to us can't? But that still doesn't explain, how were you able the hurt the shadows now?[/glow]"

Rotara looks to twilight and asks, "[glow=navy,2,300]twilight would you do me the honor of explainin the second effect of persona fusion and how it effects summoned creatures? You are the athority when it comes to magic.[/glow]"

Twilight smiled. "Of course, Rotara."

Everypony suddenly found themselves sitting inside a large lecture hall

"Welcome everypony, to Professor Twilight's Persona Lectures!" the purple alicorn declared with a grin from the front of the hall. "Today we will be explaining Persona Fusion! In battle, one would normally take turns using Persona Skills to attack the enemy Shadows, however, if two or more Persona-users work together, they may temporarily fuse their Personas together into a more powerful Persona. In the case of Aurora and Rotara, Rotara is able to fuse with Aurora's Persona, Fortuna, to become Rotara Fortune, since they are both summoned creatures. Fusions can can also take place with the Persona and the Persona-user, allowing the user to temporarily use their Persona's skills and weapons themselves."

And with that, everypony found themselves back in the dorm lounge.

Rotara smiled and then added, "[glow=purple,2,300]thank you twilight. One final note if another user paired with Aurora I would be able to fuse with their persona and we both would benefit from what is known as the doppelganger effect.[/glow]"

Rotara returns to to Aurora's side and waits for the others to speak.
Aurora asks, "[glow=navy,2,300]So Rotara was able to finally hurt the shadows because she was merged with the persona Fortuna? It would make sense. Would it be possible to summon other beings besides Rotara Fortune in the same way with persona fusion?[/glow]"

I'll join.  The pony in the corner spoke in a monotone, looking out at them.

Blueblood starts at the quiet voice. [shadow=blue,left]"Hmm? Oh! Checkmate, I forgot that you awoke your Persona as well that night. Yes, thank you for agreeing to help."[/shadow]

Dusk shrugged. "I'll join as well. I mean, what are the chances that we'll be able to have a normal life with those Shadows attacking us each night?"

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I'm game. We summoners never have normal lives anyways.[/glow]

Aurora is toying with a new item. it looks like it could be a pistal from anther world. Rotara is wispering something to her and every so often pointing to it. When Rotara points to the item Aurora's deck and then to herself Aurora's eyes go wide and she nods vigorous to Rotara.

Not that any of us mind... I mean at least I don't. Nice way to train and get stronger He says leaning back crossing his front hooves a bit

I've literally been standing here the whole time.  The quiet pony noted, stepping forward finally.

Blueblood smiled and nodded. [shadow=blue,left]"Excellent! Now Twilight, if you pleas..."[/shadow]

The purple alicorn nodded, using her magic to levitate a small hoofcannon, and a red armband to each of the new SEES members.

[shadow=blue,left]"I took the liberty of having an Evoker and armband made for each of you,"[/shadow] the white stallion explained.

Check took his, looking at them curiously.

Aurora recieved the arm band, but showed the device she was holding. She says, "[glow=navy,2,300]It is called a summon blaster. The runes on it match the summoner's summoning cyrcle. Only summoners who can use personas are allowed to use it. It works similar to the evokers.[/glow]"

To show how it works, Aurora holds Rotara's card and the fortuna persona card before the device and pretends to fire it through the cards and her head, as if she was useing it.

Blue held her head. "Alright everypony, i need to get some rest, so good night." she sighed and walked upstairs.

[shadow=blue,left]"We should all get some rest. We have a big day tomorrow. Or should I say, tomorrow night."[/shadow] Blueblood agreed.

Dusk yawned as he slowly trotted to his classroom. He had decided to stay up till midnight to check the validity of Blueblood's claims regarding the Dark Hour. He wasn't really surprised when he found that Blueblood had indeed been telling the truth. He also saw a mysteriously glowing door just standing in the street. He intended to investigate it with one of the others at a later time. For now, he needed to focus on classes, and trying not to fall asleep.

Blue had another sleepless night behind her, watching the magic lights of the small TV in her room. Lost in her thoughts she was barely paying attention to the class nor the lessons.

Doomato was sitting at his desk, writing down notes "from the lecture", some of which included;

Mage groggily awoke. The dream he had was still bothering him. However...

"It was just a dream" thought Mage

He got his things together, headed to school, entered his classroom, took his seat, and prepared for the lesson to begin...

J had spent most nights how he normally did training. waking up he makes his way to class and sits down in his seat

Doomato rolled his eyes and rubbed off the writing on the paper, finally making real notes.

Aurora was downstairs bright and early. She was mixing a summoner's tea blend. Rotara was sitting at the table, eating something not of this world.

Aurora was doing her best in classes and practicing her summoning in her shop and working. She feels she will be ready for dark hour that night.

Class 2-Fa (Dusk Storm, Blue Star, Mage Heart, J, Doomato and Checkmate's class)

As the bell rang for classes to begin, Professor Twilight teleported in. "Good morning class! Due to an unfortunate accident involving muffins, the teacher you were originally meant to have, Professor Hooves, has called sick. Today, I will be taking care of your chemistry class. Now, who here can tell me the chemical equation of water?"



Class 2-Fb (Blob King, Midnight Aurora and Naura's class)

The Doctor quickly trotted in. "Good morning class! Are we sitting comfortably? Good! Now lets pick up were we left off last time. During the final days of WP (World Party) 2, with the capital city of Prance, the Hoofans and Prench were partying as you wouldn't believe. In the midst of this, a stallion by the name of Dorian Mode began to..."

"...after that, we found ourselves washed out of the catacombs, and under the Sheiffel Tower, the Will-O-Wisps defeated, and Dorian Mode with a sound mind once again. After that we left, but not before teaching the Prench the Charleston," the Doctor said, wrapping up his lesson, noticing that some heads here and there were beginning to nod, except for those of Sabrina and Aurora. It was precisely at that moment that the bell for the end of class rang.

Sabrina and Midnight Aurora's academics increased!

When class is over, Aurora goes over to the doctor and asks, "[glow=navy,2,300]Doctor, do you have a minute?  I would like to ask you about a matrix of a sort.[/glow]" She is being some what hush hush about it and sounds important as well.

Doomato continued to make notes from the lecture.

Mage also continued to take notes on the lecture until the class ended.

J leans back in his chair looking to the ceiling as he uses his magic to take notes

Blue remained heavily in thoughts, paying absolutely no attention to the lecture, nor any happening around her.

When either an "o" or a "0" happened to pop-up, Doom's mind would instantly change the topic to sugar-donuts.

Check took notes quietly, ignoring the world around him except for the class.  Once he had finished his notes, he left.

((Sorry for the delay, but I've been very busy the past couple weeks))

Dusk slipped out of his seat as the lunch bell rang. He quickly made his way to the cafeteria, removing his lunch and sitting at an empty table.

Doomato jumped out of his seat, forcefully, and trotted into the cafeteria.

J gets up heading to the roof as he normally did. Sitting on the ground as he starts eating a lunch he prepared that morning

Mage gathered his supplies and headed to the library to study further.

He didn't want to be ill-prepared for any unexpected "pop-quizzes"

Doomato walked into the cafeteria and chose a random table.

Dusk looked up from his food as Doom took a seeat at the same table as him. "Hello there," he greeted him.

Doomato snatched a sugar-doughnut from his school-bag and stuffed it in his face. "Huy."

J sighs deciding it'd be better to have at least some social interaction preferably with the newer members of the team he heads down to the cafeteria finding Dusk and Doomato and sits at the same table as them Hello Dusk and.. Other. He says not knowing Doom's name How are you?

The stallion finally swallowed the baked delight, "Zeeblezooble! I'm feeling splendid today, thank you."

Dusk raised an eyebrow. "'Zeeblezooble'? I don't understand that term. Please explain."

Well that's good to know and what about you Dusk? J asks turning his attention to the other pony

Dusk shook the confusion from his head before turning to J. "Fine," he replied. "Still a little shaken up from... You know..."

Understandable I know I was as well at first..  He replies with a smirk

Dusk nodded. "I'm not sure if I would have believed it if I hadn't, well, lived it. Anyway, is there anypony else whos in the know?"

Doomato suddenly butted in, "Know what?" He asked, eagerly.

Just our group so do be careful. The Black furred pony replies before looking to Doomato What? He replies resting his head on his hoof

Doomato's burst in didn't even register a beep on Blue's radar, she sat on her chair behind her desk, staring blankly into nothing.

Doomato looked over at Blue, noticing how much she had spaced-out. "You are aware, that in space, nopony can see ice cream." He joked.

Blue gave no reaction to that remark, though she would quote a famous horror sentence if she was in a different state.

Doomato rolled his eyes and began to poke Blue in a strange sequence, "Hocus-pocus!"

After a few pokes Blue closed her eyes and made an annoyed face. "Yes, do you need anything from me?" she asked.

Doomato backed out of the room, then burst back in. "You better call whom!?"

"I don't follow..." Blue said, tilting her head at Doomato's shenanigans.

"Anyway, guess what I heard from the new transfer-students, Blue!?" He exlaimed, excitedly. "Except from it NOT being Taco Tuesday..."

"I still don't follow, when was it ever taco Tuesday?"

"On Tuesday; duh!" He replied.

Aurora hooves to the doctor a drawing. It appears to be a summoning matrix. She asks, "[glow=purple,2,300]What do you think of this matrix? I can't seam to get the delta rune and omega rune to align with the others.[/glow]"

The Doctor sighs, "Honestly, I have very little experience with runes. Now if you wanted to know more about the Matrix created by the Changelings in the movie "The Matrix", I'd be able to help..."

Dusk watched the random colt bound out of the room before sighing and turning back to J. "So, aside from fighting Shadows, I assume we have an overall goal in the group?"

((Hey all! Sorry about the lack of updates, but I've been busy with college classes, and preparing for Kids Camp here. Anyway, Doom, as well as anypony else who hasn't joined the main group yet will be brought into the group in the evening of this day, just before they go off to Tartarus.))

Indeed we do destroy the source Tartarus. J says crossing his hooves on the table resting his muzzle on it. With the few of us it posed as nearly impossible though with you few joining us the odds have been raised. Hopefully with your and the other's help we can end this nightmare. He adds looking to Dusk his red eyes seeming to have a spark in them

The grey colt nodded in understanding. "The fewer there are, the harder the job," he replied.

As Mage was getting ready to leave, he was stopped by one of the teachers. Apparently they needed help. Mage wasn't the type to say no, so, he agreed to help the teacher.

((Just trying to set up Mage ending up getting found by one of the team members. Him helping the teacher will end up pretty much taking until late at night/The Dark Hour and when he leaves... well... you can surmise/make up the rest. So there you go.  X3 ))

It was beginning to take longer than he thought it would, but, it wasn't really bothering Mage. He continued to help out the teacher.

Dusk sighed, rubbing his eyes as he rode the train back to the dorm. It had been a very long day, and he was ready for short power nap upon getting back.

((Hey guys, I am so sorry for letting this sit yet again, but you can't control life. Any who, everyone needs to get back to the dorm before we bring our new Persona-users in and head to Tartarus.))

Aurora sits alone on the train, deciding not to open shop for the day. she made sure to put up a note stating that due to important personal matters the shop is closed for the day. will resume services with resume tomorrow. Her and Rotara are having a mental conversation about the coming mission.

They are also thinking of using the fusion summoning circle to bring a new power into the summoning game. Rotara reveals that more personas are required to make the fusion summoning work.

When they get back to the dorm, aurora waits for the other users to gather before she makes a motion as if to request their attention.

Things were going wrong. Badly wrong.

Despite the fact that school was over, Mage was still at school helping the teacher.

Hopefully he could finish up before it got to late...

Doomato was in the local arcade, spreading coins into the machines and playing.

He stopped to look inside the arcade. Somepony in there was completely destroying hi-scores like nopony's buisness.
"The heck?! He must be one of those pro gamer ponies."

J heads up to his room sitting at his table as he spends a few hours studying and working on some last minute homework.. With a sigh he lays in bed bored out of his mind ready to get back to fighting and training.

Sabrina got off the train to the dorms, being a little drowsy she decided to take a quick nap and was struggling with the keys outside her room.
((I dunno if dorms have locks, but since I want her to stay in the hallway, I'll just say she put it on because of her lack of trust for the first days))

((I think I was having my character helping a teacher to set up him being brought in. I was waiting for someone to make a post indicating when I was done helping the teacher, but I never got it. I assumed we were going to start over from the beginning. But I guess I"ll just keep going?  :s))

Mage finally left school. The teacher kept him there far longer than he wanted. The teacher seemed to feel bad though and apologized to Mage constantly. Mage could only sigh once he was finally outside of the school. He couldn't get angry. He was the one who choose to help after all.

He began making his way home and subjected himself to not getting a lot of sleep...

((I'm going to assume that the Dark Hour will begin before Mage reaches his home and that is how he is brought it. I leave it to everyone else to decide how.))

Azure was done looking through the arcade. Turning away, he began making his way through town, looking for his new school.

J sighs sitting up in his bed Sleepless night yet again. He mummers holding out his hoof eyes glowing as he summons his scythe looking it over i guess it should be starting soon. He says looking over to the clock in his room as the scythe dissipates Heh maybe I should head out for a bit get rid of some energy.   He looks out the window Those shadows from before... what were they about.

The Dark Hour has now begun, waking Dusk from his snooze, only just now realizing that he slept through his alarm. Ahh, crap. he thought, rubbing a hoof over his eye. Overslept again...

He quickly got up, grabbing Elucidator from the wall where it hung as he stepped out of his room, trotting to the Command Room.

J opens his door smirking heads down the the command room seeing Dusk. Hey Dusk. He says following the  pony You know I was thinking about heading out you want to come?

Azure suddenly felt odd. Not only did he realize he was outside at night, but also he just felt something was...off.

Lying in her bed Blue stared at the stopped clock above the door in the darkness of her room. Locked in her room she stared at the frozen clock for a few more tedious seconds before shifting her sight to her nightstand, where her evoker lied. The young blue mare took the gun shaped device and held it in her hooves while shifting her sight yet again, this time blankly staring into the ceiling with the evoker in her hooves. "A team is only as strong as its weakest member..." she whispered to herself.

Sabrina finally opend the door and went inside her room, where she immedietly fell down onto her couch.

As soon as the dark hour commenced, all of the lights and arcade cabinets in the arcade shut down and Doomato looked at the coffins. "This 'insanity' thing again? I keep seeing this." He muttered.

All of a sudden... on his way home... it was like everything froze. There was even a chill in the air. Mage shivered. He rubbed his front hooves together to try to warm himself up.

"What the heck? It shouldn't be this cold already..." stated Mage slightly aloud to no pony in particular.

"I'd... better hurry home..." realized Mage as he continued to make his way home.

He passed the arcade and thought he saw something move. He froze in place. It was probably just another pony. Mage couldn't help but feel embarrassed. He was getting paranoid now. Who would be out this late though? He decided to stand there and wait to see what would happen next.

Somehow... Mage was positioned in a way in which he couldn't clearly see the coffin that seemed to be currently in the arcade...

Dusk nodded as he kept going to the Command Room, both to check in with Twilight, and to retrieve his EVOKER. As he stepped in, he spotted Twilight over at the bank or consoles. "Hey Twilight, me and J are heading out to get some practice, is there anything we should know?"

"Actually, there is, Twilight replied. "There appears to be some sort of activity at the Palownia Mall. Go check around the area while you're out."[color/]

Dusk nodded, "You got it." With that, the grey unicorn started back downstairs to the door where J was waiting. "Twilights says theres some sort of activity at the mall. She wants us to check it out while we're out."

Sure thing. He replies with a nod heading out But we'll need to hurry so let's get going. J waits for Dusk to follow him out before darting off towards the mall checking back every few seconds to make sure Dusk is keeping up

The Palownia Mall during the Dark Hour is a spooky place. The eerie green light of the moon, and the coffins littered throughout the mall made it feel more like a graveyard than anything else. Dusk held his Elucidator sword at the ready, his EVOKER in his saddlebags as he walks slowly through the mall with J

"See anything, J?" He asks, keeping his eyes peeled for any movement.

((Ok, because of the time jump, we are now about twenty minutes into the Dark Hour, and the ponies who we are gonna bring into SEES, are now gathered inside the night club, since its one of the few buildings that are unlocked. I also plan to begin the first real Shadow battle while we're at the mall as well, so hold tight, since I need to figure out J's level, and stats.))

As Azure walked around uneasily, he actually spied a few ponies heading somewhere. Following them, he ended up at some sort of night club. What was even more unnerving was that there were ponies with weapons here.

J looks around his horn glowing as he summons his scythe as he looks around the night club he uses his magic to keep a grip on his EVOKER as he examined the area

"Hey, do you mind not waving the weapons around here?" Doomato was looking at J from the higher floor of the Nightclub.

"I have no idea!" Match exclaims, stopping and standing beside Mage.

What these three failed to realize, was the fact that while they were grouping in fear, a Shadow began to creep up on them. While they might have missed that, two other ponies spotted it.

"You three, get down!" Dusk called to them, jumping between the Shadow and the three frightened ponies, J hot on his hooves.

J chuckles rushing at the last Maya summoning his blade and slashing at it

At this point. Mage's mouth was wide open as he could do nothing but watch these ponies take on these strange creatures with what looked like monsters helping them.

Mage was just too shocked for words now.

((Really nothing else to do and that would probably be how I would react too. lol))

Sabrina woke up again, and realized she had forgotten to close the door. She rushed out in the hallway and realized it was awfully quiet. But she didn't mind, if everypony was sleeping she could study better. She went back into her dorm and made sure to close the door this time. She then decided to read through the notes from the lessons she had been to this far, and did some more research on a few things, all while listening to some calm music.

((Just a heads up, its better to avoid posting stuff thats outside of the the area of combat, mostly to avoid confusion. It also makes it easier for me to keep track of the battle. Now, back to the battle!!))

The Shadow, quickly recovering from J's strike slithered over to him in retaliation, landing a slash on the older stallion.

Dusk, spotting an opening, pulls out his EVOKER again. "Black Frost, mudo!" He cries, before a dark magic circle springs briefly into existence beneath the Shadow, before it blasts it into oblivion.

((Whew! That took forever to decide on what it dropped, and how much EXP it awarded! Anyway, I'm putting together a thread that will track the stats of each character in this RP, so that way, we won't forget important info.))

Mage was still in utter shock at what he saw. He still couldn't believe it and wasn't really moving or saying anything.

Azure heard the sound of conflict. Reluctantly, he left the club looking for the sounds, only just catching the end of the fight, but seeing the monster they were fighting.
Shaking, he stepped out as the monster seemed to be destroyed.
"W-What was that...?!" He whispered.

Were they the only ones? J asks checking around one last time to see if there were any shadows left.

*Slowly walks though the quiet streets filled with coffins* Hmm... *looks at map, then looks ahead* So it's that way... *puts map up and walks towards the dorm* *looks up at the moon* It's a beautiful full moon *continues on his way to the dorm*

(Wait so has he already awakened his persona?)

No... He's just got lucky. anyway, im a change it, that way, he'll just arrive at the dorm on that night

He doesn't awaken to his persona yet, until the night of the runaway train.

(Ah well weapons can't harm shadows until they awaken them just for future reference ^-^ )

"Who there?" She yells out and starts to trot down the hallway, hoping the pony will speak again so she can localize their location and get to them as quickly as possible, in case of any emergency.

"Thestral? Amazing!" Sabrina gasped in awe. She stood there and just stared at him for some seconds before shaking her head.
"Well, its really late, if you tell me what number your room got, I can guide you there, or are you planning on also going out?" She gave him a graceful smile.

The figures body was illuminated by the bright green moon, a ladre smile spread across their face. However even with the moon shining brightly behind them the ponies couldn't make out who this was. Because of the cursed the malicious have awaken, what story will thou spin? I shall be waiting to see your answer  The pony says with a voice of a female, however it was low and distorted. Almost like it wasn't a pony, as it turns and walks away it's body seems to dissipate into thin air Hrm that was odd? Who  was that? J asks looking to see where she could of gone.

Shadows are the embodiment of ponies' darkest emtions and the dark hour  a hidden twenty-fifth hour that takes place every midnight, during which the world comes to a stop and ponies reflexively contain themselves in coffins. Of course there are ponies like us who aren't effected by the dark hour.

Dusk glances over the unconscious pony. "Take him, and the rest of them to the dorm, Twilight will have an easier time explaining things to them than we will."

Of course and what about that pony? Should we be cautious of them something seemed off. He replies refering to the feminine figure that had appeared before the group earlier before vanishing into the glow of the moon

"Leave her for now, its obvious she can take care of herself. Besides, if she wanted us to follow her, she would have told us to." Dusk replied beginning his trot to the dorm.

Twilight was staring at the monitors in the Command Room, watching both the sensor that she created to detect Shadows, as well as the interior cameras of the building. Her gaze stopped on a particularly miserable looking mare, deciding she should switch gears from leader mode, to friend mode. She quickly toggled the room-to-room intercom. "Blue, are you alright?" she asked.

Blue sat up and looked around after hearing a voice, she sighed and hopped down her bed, walking to the intercom and pressing the button. "Yes, i'm alright, thanks..." she said not very convincingly.

Twilight quirked an eyebrow. "You do realize I can see your face right now, right? And its clearly written on it that you're upset. You sure you don't want to talk about it? I can easily teleport in and put up some privacy barriers."

Blue closed her eyes and nodded, sighing and whispering "Yeah, sure..." she suddenly stopped and gasped. "Wait, you can see me!?" She asked quickly

Twilight, although no one could see her right now, had the decency to blush. "uh, yeah, I put some spells in all the rooms of the dorm. It lets me see in them to make sure there aren't any Shadows around. In any case, give me a second here."

The purple alicorn concentrated briefly before disappearing with a pop, only to appear in Blue's room. She quickly cast three different spells to prevent unwanted eyes and ears from monitoring the conversation. "So, why is it that you look like its the end of the world or like Tirek's back?"

Blue giggled a bit as she heard Twilight explain the surveillance spells. Blue sighed and looked away. "Well, its just... How long have i been here? In all this time, training and studying, i didn't improve a bit. And now we even have new members that are way better from the get-go..." she tried to explain but found it hard to find the right words.

Twilight sighed. She knew that Blue was having self-confidence issues, but she had no idea it was this serious. "Blue, theres a saying that my mother used to tell me. You're only as good as you think you are. Do you understand what I mean by that?"

"I heard that one before..." Blue whispered, avoiding eye contact.

Twilight shook her head, "I doubt it was meant in the same way I'm about to explain it. What I mean, is that strength is all well and good, but its the willpower that can turn the tide of any battle. For example, Spike has been sending me a few volumes of a manga series called Fairy Tail, I'm pretty sure you or somepony else has heard of it. Anyway, the manga is filled with magical battles were the characters are always pitted against overwhelming odds, yet they always manage to pull through, you know why? Because the refuse to let themselves give up. I look at you, and thats what I see, a filly whos giving up. What I'm trying to say, is don't give up. You're far stronger than you give yourself credit for."

Blue sighed once more. "Never heard of it. But stories like these are all the same, 'fairy tails' for little foals. I'm not a filly anymore, and what these stories failed to explain, at least to me, is that willpower is all and good but its no use if you have no strength to begin with."

Twilight sighed. "You're kinda missing my point, though I can kinda understand why. Which is why, tomorrow you'll meet me in the command room right after school is done for the day."

"Is that an order, senpai?" Blue questioned, lowering her ears.

Twilight shrugged. "If you want to treat it like that. I would appreciate it more though if you treated it as me wanting to spend time with my friend."

Blue sighed and nodded. "Very well, right after school in the command room."

Twilight nodded before removing her spells. She turned back to Blue, a sad look on her face. "I really do consider you my friend. Its been so many years since most of my friends passed on..." her voice trailed off as her mind went back to happier times, before the tragedy that took the lives of 4 of her friends, and before the Dark Hour was born.

((Thats right, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash died 15 years prior to the start of this RP, leaving Fluttershy Twilight's only surviving friend from Ponyville, who is now a rather elderly mare))

Blue waited for Twilight to leave her room, then sighed again. Walking to her bed she realized that she had been holding her ENVOKER all this time, with another sigh she put it in the drawer of her nightstand and lied in the bed, as always unable to sleep unless her little TV played, at least as background.

Dusk's group silently moved through the city, making their way back to the dorm. You could easily tell the Dark Hour was coming to as close, as the light cast by the moon constantly flickered between the normal night colors, and the green of the Dark Hour. He glanced over to the colts following behind him before asking, "How many of you are in the co-ed Canterlot Dorm for CSGU (Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns)?"

"Well, I have no home in this dimension, I refuse to go into a dorm and I'm from another dimension... Does that add up to a no?" Doomato asked, stupidly.

Looking at the fainted Mage, Match takes a deep breath to calm himself and struggles to lift him from the ground.

Wakes up a while later, feeling groggy "Maybe I should read... I think I saw a book in the lobby. I'll read in there. Oh! and I better light a candle!" Moon walks out and enters the Lobby area and found a small candle on a table. Using the talons on his wings, strike them against each other, creating a spark, thus igniting the scented candle. Moon looks around until he finds a book titled, 'history of magic' "Ah. That'll work" Moon picks up the book and starts to read it next to the candle light.

hm we're about 5-10 minutes away so pretty close just keep going down this road and we'll get there J say looking around the area

Dusk nodded. "Then we should probably pick up the pace. The Dark Hour will be over in about 6 minutes, if the flickering is anything to go by." He then began to take off at a gallop to the dorm.

Blue lied in her bed staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep in the darkness of her room. "The dark hour should be ending soon." she whispered to herself and sighed.

Looks outside the window to the moon "Looks like the Extra Hour will be ending soon" Moon said to himself, then continues reading. (He doesn't know what the Dark Hour truly is. He just calls it the Extra Hour)

Moon closes the book after finishing it. (He's a quick reader) Then sets it on the table. However, before he gets off the couch, his wing accidently knocks over a lamp, thus causing a loud thud and crash at could be heard through out the Dorm, "Moon, you clumsy pony!" Moon growls quietly to himself in panic, trying to clean the mess of metal and glass.

Sabrina heard something and immediately say up in the sofa. She used her unicorn magic to "feel" what had happend, and by who, so when she understood that it had just been a lamp falling off a table she sighed with relief and tried to go back to sleep.

Zora enters the School for Gifted Unicorns. She follows the signs leading to the main office.

Dusk swiftly guided the group of ponies back to the dorm, ushering them in and directing them to take a seat at the dining room table, not noticing the new figure on the couch as he moves to the intercom to call Twilight down.

Moon slowly pokes head up and sees the other ponies at the dinner table "Sabrina did say they might have been out" Moon says to himself, "They probably didn't notice me" Then Moon, without noticing, stepped on some glass, "OUCH!!" Moon yells out in pain, holding his injured hoof. His wings flair out in pain, making him ominous and frightening in the dark.

Hearing the shout, Dusk turns his head just before he starts talking to Twilight. "GAH! Who are you?!?!?"

Moon doesn't answer. He was still holding his hoof, which had five large glass shards in it. Moon leans against the wall, breathing heavily in pain.

Dusk sighs, going over to the intercom. "Twilight, we have a slight problem, could you come down to the main lounge?"

"Of course, just a sec." came her reply.

Dusk then turned back to the stranger holding his bleeding hoof. "Here, let me help with that, he says as he uses his magic to remove the 5 glass shards, and the harder to see fragments from his hoof. Next he brings out a first-aid kit, and bandages his hoof. "There, now that thats taken care of, mind telling me who you are?"

Moon uses his other hoof to reach into his saddlebag and pulls out informances papers of the transfer."This should explain everything about why I'm here" Moon hands the paper to Dusk.

"My name is Moon Hourglass, I just transfered to this dorm" Moon softly smiles at Dusk.

Moon turns his head towards everyone at the table. Moon, then gives soft smile.

Dusk, taking the packet in his magic offers a friendly smile, just as a purple flash, accompanied by a pop signaled Twilight's arrival.

"Alright, what seems to be the problem, Dusk?"

Dusk nods over to the group at the table. "We got some new ponies with the potential who need an explanation. I thought you'd be the best to explain things to them. Also, I think our Thestral friend here, Moon Hourglass, possibly has the potential as well, since when we arrived back he wasn't a coffin."

Twilight nodded, "Good call there, Dusk. Alright everypony, gather round...

Twilight then proceeds to explain the Dark Hour, the Shadows, and Persona.

((If you need a refresher, go google each of those terms))

"Persona... another side of you self... But wait, I don't have a Persona!" Moon starts to panic, "Don't tell me I need one to get enrolled at school..."

Twilight and Dusk looked at each other, before bursting out laughing, with Dusk laughing so hard that he managed to collapse!

"No, no, not at all, Mr. Hourglass. Normally we wouldn't tell anyone the information you just learned. We're telling you now though, because you seem to have the potential to summon a Persona. We'll see about helping you summon yours tomorrow."

Oh... Moon says, calming a bit.

((Almost, I'm about to have Dusk go to bed. Speaking of which, those of you who thought they weren't at the dorm yet, you are currently at the dorm.))

Dusk's laughter slowly came to a stop as he picked himself off the ground.

"Well, while this has been both an exciting, as well as amusing, night, I need to get my sleep. See you guys tomorrow!"

With that, he climbed the stairs, entered his room, put his sword, Elucidator, away, and flopped onto his bed, sleep claiming him as soon as his head hit the pillow.

"I'm gonna follow his example and go to bed as well" Moon graciously bows to Twilight, then heads for bed.

Azure was just standing there, dumbfounded. That was Twilight. Plus, he'd only just been sent to this school, and now all this was happening.
With a sigh, he found his bed, climbing in.
"How are we supposed to fight without weapons...?" He murmured to himself.

Moon walks up to Azura before he heads up the stair and then, using his wing, hugged Azura, "Night, Kid" Then Moon walks past the stairs and enters his own room, flopping into the bed, forgetting to close the door.

"Well, okay then. That's interesting, I think? What do you horses want me to say!?" Doomato crawled over to the sofa in the dorm reception, and thrown himself onto it.

Mage wasn't really sure what to say. He wanted this to be a dream. However, every time he poked one of his front hooves with his horn, he didn't wake up. Every time he did this, he could only sigh. It wasn't a dream.

He needed to process all of this.

"I need to sleep on this. See you all tomorrow" stated Mage as he dragged himself upstairs, found an unused room, and immediately collapsed onto the bed.

Eventually, Mage got himself comfortable, and tried to go to sleep

Blue tried to sleep as best she could, but even the glow and sound of her tiny TV could not provide enough comfort to her to actually fall into dream. She sighed and rolled out of bed, walking out of the door and to the stairs, down the stairs and into the kitchen, to get a glass of water.

He tried his best. He really did. But, Mage's mind seemed to be running a mile a minute. He had way too many things on his mind. He couldn't go to sleep. He went downstairs into the kitchen to see if this place had any milk so he could warm it up. He always heard that helped in getting to sleep. He noticed another pony in the kitchen. However, he entered the kitchen anyway.

Mage opened the fridge, and as he attempted to find the milk, he tried to talk to the pony.

"Looks like I'm not the only pony who can't sleep. Though I guess I could be wrong..." remarked Mage. Mage then let out an audible sigh.

"Ugh. I'm still trying to process everything that Twilight said. Almost makes me think this is just a very realistic dream. However, it's obviously not." stated Mage

"Yeah..." The small blue mare sighed and drank a bit from her glass of water. "... But i've been having sleeping problems for a long time now." She sighed yet again, keeping her folded.

Mage wasn't sure what else to say to this pony. Luckily, he finally found the milk. He used his magic to grab a glass and carefully poured the milk into the glass until the glass was about half full. He then placed the glass of milk into a nearby microwave, set it for fifteen seconds, and turned it on. While he waited, he also put the milk back into the refrigerator as well.

It was now a strange awkward silence. The microwave went off and Mage grabbed his now warm glass of milk and began to drink it.

((Yeah. Not sure what else to talk about.  X3))

Blue watched the pony in the awkward silence, sipping on her glass of water. As the microwave started to turn she finally decided to talk a bit more. "So, you live in the dorm too? Are you a presona user? The name's Blue, by the way."

Doomato snapped out of his boredom. "Oh, Blue! Guess who it is!"

Twilight watched the group in amusement. "Alright, I think thats enough amusement for one night. You all need to get to bed, otherwise you'll sleep in class tomorrow."

Blue turned her head to Twilight and nodded, sighing and turning her sight back to Mage. "Well, guess i'm going back to bed now. Nice meeting you, Mage..." she then looked at Doomato "You too." then finished her glass of water and trotted back to her room.

Once in her room she hopped in her bed and stretched, getting into an comfortable position and knocking the on button on her TV with her hind hoof. There was a show about fortune telling on, though Blue didn't pay attention to it, she only needed the light and the slight noise to sleep, not too laud but not too silent as well. She closed her eyes and slowly passed out.

Azure stayed awake for quite a few hours, trying to make sense of everything. Sure, being at this school was better than the Hive, but at least the Hive didn't have coffins everywhere at night.
Eventually, he fell asleep.

Mage nodded and took his warm glass of milk back with him to his new room.

Drinking it did seem to help. Worrying wasn't really going to do Mage much good anyway. After a while, Mage was finally able to go to sleep.

Doomato set up a tent in the reception of the dorm and slept in it.

Moon sleeps until his silent alarm rings at four a.m.

-BEEP- -BEEP- -BE - -click-. Dusk's hoof gently tapped the snooze button on his alarm clock as he cracked his eyes open. Yawning, he rolls out of bed, grabs his saddlebags, which are still filled from yesterday's classes, and stumbles out his door and downstairs zompony style. He really needs his daily dose of caffeine...

Mage heard a loud "beeping" sound. On habit alone, he reached over and shut off the alarm. He slowly opened his eyes... and... realized that he was still in the dorm he got lead to after everything that happened. He had to face it, everything that happened wasn't a dream. Mage simply sighed.

"They put an alarm in here? Great..." thought Mage. He then groaned a little. He was still a little sleepy...

"I didn't get enough sleep. Oh well... I'll just have to grin and bear it..." thought Mage as he began to force himself up and made his way down to the dorm kitchen once again, trying to find something to eat before he headed off for school.

Azure slowly got up, and looked around as the rest of the dorm seemed to come to life.

Sabrina woke up fixed her mane, and went out of her room, still so sleepy so she had forgotten to pack her food, or to even bring her saddle bag.

After the sound of the alarm woke up Blue she growled cutely and threw her pillow at the clock to silence it. It took her some convincing to get herself out of bed and onto her hooves. She grabbed her bag and walked out of her room, heading for school, still partially asleep, or with her mind somewhere else, she seemed distant.

Match Stick awoke, still tired from the long drive to the school he partook in yesterday.

Mage made his breakfast and attempted to eat it as quickly as possible. Once he was finished, he went back up to his dorm room and began to prepare for the school day.

Moon enters the kitchen area and starts making breakfast for everyone.

Dusk, still more zompony than pony, slowly trudged his way to the coffee pot, pouring himself his first cup of morning joe. The first cup of many.

Sabrina walked by all the ponies in the corridor, looking confused and tired.

Moon sets some plates on the counter, ready to place omelets down.

With coffee held in his magical grip, Dusk trudged to his seat at the table, taking small sips as waited patiently for food to come.

Blue, with her mane and tail uncombed, walked pass the ponies at the table, her eyes half shut, her bag almost falling off of her, she walked straight to the door and out of it, heading for the train and to school.

Sabrina felt the good old smell of omelets, and took some steps towards Moon, gently sniffing in the air around him.
"What are you making?" She asked with a loud yawn.

Azure finally got out of bed. Going downstairs, he saw everypony at the table. Quietly, he took a seat too.

Mage grabbed everything he needed and headed downstairs. He saw that a lot more ponies were awake now and were sitting around the table. With nothing else to do, Mage attempted to find an open seat and took a seat at the table as well

Moon slides a plate to everyone, each plate carrying an omelet.

As the plate slides into his field of vision, Dusk gives a cry of "Itadakimasu" and pays homage to the manga and anime gods as he does an impressive imitation of the anime character Ranma.

It was at that moment that Twilight, who was just walking in, raised an eyebrow at his display. "You getting enough to eat there, Usagi?"

Dusk chokes on his food. After a couple coughs, he croaks "Usagi?!? Why would you compare me to Sailor Moon? I'm more like Ranma!"

"I beg to differ. With that display, your cry of 'itadakimasu', and what you just said a moment ago, you seem more like Usagi." Twilight chuckled.

Dusk pouted for a few moments before a wicked grin split his face. "So does that make you Rei?"

Twilight's chuckles evolved into a full laugh. "Perhaps."

Sabrina saw the princess and without any kind of manners, she sat down, took a big bite of the omelet and said while chewing:
"Guud mojning pwincess." as she swallowed the omelet, feeling her energy returning.

"Morning Your Highness" stated Mage to Twilight as well. He was still trying to get used to talking to a princess as if she was an equal, but, the "Your Highness" still came out.

Mage could only hope Twilight would just ignore it as he also began to eat the omelet. Even though he had already eaten something, he thought it would have been rude to decline the food he was given.

Twilight flinched slightly at the 'Your Highness' Mage gave her. It had never felt the same after most of her friends had died to be called 'Your Highness'. She forced a smile before replying "Good morning, Mage. Are you settling in alright?"

J stretches as he gets up and heads downstairs. Seeing everyone sitting around the table he goes over to the couch and sits down opening a book and reading before they have to leave.

Twilight giggled at Sabrina's antics before saying that she'd see them in class before teleporting to the school to greet the newest transfer student.

Mage finished up and left his new home, apparently, and made his way to school.

Sabrina quickly brushed her mane, packed her stuff, and rushed like never before down to the train station. But she had been running too fast out the dorm, and was out of energy to even simply walk two more steps. So she laid down on the ground, panting and gasping loudly, hoping she wouldn't miss the train because of how her morning had been going this far.
"If I miss that train... Celestia, it will be the first day in history I won't be present. And that day will never happen!" She jumped back up on her hooves and took a giant jump forward, before realizing her mistake. She fell face flat back on the ground, groaning.

Zora using her exo-suit flies towards Canterlot. She soon arrives and enters the castle.

Spotting her new student, Twilight steps outside to welcome her. "Good morning! Welcome to Celestia's School for Gifted Ponies. My name is Twilight Sparkle, may I ask your name?"

"Must, get, to, the, train!" Sabrina moaned while she slowly dragged herself forward using magic, her legs had lost all sensation since she never had to run like she had just done.
I am NEVER EVER going to stay up late again, pinkie promise on that... She thought to herself while grunting, looking pretty mad and weird to nearby passing ponies.

Azure was on his way to the train, too. He saw Sabrina dragging herself across the ground.
"Um...do you need any help...?"

"No, I can do this..."
NOOOOOO, YOU CANNOT
"I am perfectly fine..."
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
"But, well, a little help would be appreciated."

Azure helped her to her feet, before continuing to the train. He felt really nervous.

"Thank you..." Sabrina whispered, and slowly trotted after Azure, not wanting to put too much weight on her legs.

With a soft 'pop' Dusk teleported to the station just in time to see Azure helping a stumbling Sabrina onto the train.

"Why didn't you just teleport here?" He asked, trotting up to them. "We may not be allowed to teleport onto school property, but you're still able to teleport to the train."

"Hmm, you should know how teleportation works. I used too much energy during the night, and I couldn't even teleport 3 hooves infront of me, no matter how much I would've liked too." She said and took the last steps onto the train, where she collapsed with a happy sigh.

Dusk followed, pulling out a glass flask and extending it to the exhausted mare.

"Here, its an energy replenishing tonic I call a Soma. I make them myself for times like these when I'm fresh out of energy. It'll fix you up in no time."

Match lumbered his way to his new school with his face downcast, finding no solace in his inclusion in such an elite education opportunity.

"Hmm, okay..." Sabrina levitated the bottle over to her face and started to drink. Some seconds later, she took some shaky steps and stood up, but hurried over to a seat to sit down. She drank some more and then levitated it back to Dusk.
"Thank you, I don't usually feel any effect of these "voodo" potions, but this one was good. Really good!" She smiled. She felt so much better than before, and just to prove that to herself, she stood up and trotted around on the cart, before teleporting back to her seat, grinning at Dusk to show her appreciation.

((Um, Naura, I was trying to introduce a powerful healing item that fully restores both HP and SP for the entire party. In the Persona games, they're fairly rare, so I thought it would be interesting to have a character who was able to brew them... That being said, I kinda wish your character felt a little bit better...))

Dusk shrugged. "They should still come in handy during You-Know-When"

"Mhmm, hope I won't have to experience it the way I did last night, messed up my entire scheme." She blushed in embarassment.

Moon cleans up the table and dishes, leaving no trace of any mess. After cleaning, Moon levitated his school things into his saddle bag, then levitated it, from his room and onto his back. Once he made sure it was fastened and the oven was off, he headed through the door. Moon, then opened his wings and took off towards the school.

((Just giving this a little bump. Still waiting on a few ponies to post))

A short few minutes later, Moon landed infront of the school gates and calmly strolled into the building.

Mage made it to school and entered. He made his way to his classroom, took his seat, and summoned his supplies to him and waited for the class to begin.

When the train stopped Sabrina quickly got off and went into the correct classroom where she sat down and laid out all her things in a symmetrical order.

Azure disembarked as well, hurriedly heading to the building and, after a brief moment of getting lost, arrived at his classroom.

Dusk trots to his desk, sits down, and waits for class to start. He glances at the clock, 7:55. Five minutes till class starts...

Blue was already sitting at her desk, her bag on her desk, her mane a mess and she stared out the distant window, as if mentally absent.

Dusk noticed Blue's distracted look.

"Hey, you OK over there?" He asked her.

Blue started off for a bit longer before shaking her head "Huh? Whoa? What?" she asked confusedly. "Sorry what did you say?"

"Huh, bit distracted are we?" Dusk chuckled in amusement. "Anyway, I asked if you were OK, though judging from your reaction, I'd say somethings really bothering you. Whats up?"

Blue waved her hoof and yawned "I'm fine, i'm fine." She yawned a little more before stretching in her seat "Just the usual nightmares getting a little annoying to deal with, my absolute combat incompetence and now Senpai wants to discuss something with me after school."

"Ah, so business as usual than." Dusk jokes, maintaining a straight face.

At that moment, a bright light shines through the room, concentrating behind a single pony in a rainbow of color. She was tall, pure white, with a mane that appeared to be a rainbow of hues when viewed from the front, but when viewed from the back, it appeared silver. Her tail was the same. As for her cutie mark, it appeared to be a trio of crosses made of numerous stars. She also wore a very glamorous outfit.

[shadow=black,left]"My name is Ragyo Kiryuin, and from this day forth, I shall be your homeroom teacher. As this is my first day, I wish to pose a question to you. What is clothing?"[/shadow]

The class just stared at her, like she had grown a second head.

[shadow=black,left]"No one? Well then, I shall tell you. Clothing is si-!"[/shadow] Ragyo suddenly found that she had a large red blade protruding from her body.

"Oh no you don't!" A voice spoke behind the white mare. "You already ruined one world with your Life Fiber infused clothes, I won't let you get your grubby mits on another world!" The mare that spoke was a rather small, when compared to Ragyo, yellow unicorn, with a black mane streaked with red. She held a massive, red scissor blade, and wore a very skimpy black and red outfit.

As soon as the mare finished speaking, she slashed with her sword, making Ragyo disappear in a red flash. The yellow mare than turned back to the class. "Sorry you had to see that, guys." there was another bright flash, signaling the end of the mare's skimpy outfit. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ryuko Matoi. That'll be Professor Matoi to you though. I will be your homeroom teacher, as well as your magical defense Professor."

((I would like to apologize for my silliness right now, and I would like to assure you that this will be the only big Kill la Kill reference I make, though that won't stop me from making small references later.))

Blue seemed rather unimpressed, leaning her head on her hoof "Professor? You don't look over 55, and you cant have that tittle unless you're that age." She frowned untrustingly.

Ryuko raised an eyebrow, before turning to the door as Professor Sparkle entered the room.

"Miss Star, I can personally vouch for this mare's employment with us. Professor Matoi is indeed the new Defense professor. I suggest you treat her a little more respect. After all, since she's the defense professor, that also makes her the Physical Education instructor. I'd be careful what you say if I were you." Twilight lectures with a frown.

Professor Matoi grins. "Thats right, be careful what you say, otherwise you might find yourself in the awkward position of running with boulders tied to your ankles."

Blue sighed and flopped on her desk, covering her head.

Professor Matoi's grin drops as Professor Sparkle leaves the room.

"Alright, lets get right to class then." Se said, picking up a piece of chalk. "Who here can tell me what the most basic protection spell is?"

Blue's ears twitched 'Are those even spells?' she asked herself and wondered for a bit about the answer. She thought of it for a bit and though that the 'guard' option was correct, but she remained silent to not humiliate herself even more.

Azure tilted his head. "Well, Protego sounds like an upgrade, and Guard sounds very basic...but I have heard of Aero being used for a shield...and becoming stronger spells like Aerora and Aeroga, but would that apply here...?"
Azure's thoughts kept analyzing the names. Which was it?

Moon was writing notes in his journal while listening to the class.

((Give it your best guess, they are all protection spells from various franchises. Protego is a shield spell from Harry Potter, Guard is a move from both Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, and Aero is a wind based protection spell from the original Kingdom Hearts game. Thats all the help I'll be giving, you'll need to figure it out on your own which one is the most basic. ^-^))

Azure wasn't too keen on answering out loud, but he did write down his answer on his paper.
"Aero, because the spell is both defencive, plus able to upgrade into better forms, like Aerora and Aeroga."
He would hae answered out loud, but 1. He didn't want the class to laugh at him if it was wrong, and 2. The fact that the teacher had a SWORD made him just a little bit more nervous.
(For the record, I haven't seen much of Kill La Kill, but for some reason my brother, who has never watched anime and often said he hated it, actually watched the whole series. I only saw two bits; one with some guy with hundreds of boxing gloves, and the other...well, I'll say if no-one jumps into a room yelling "I'm on official buisness!" by the end of the RP, I'll be sad  X3)

(( also to explain my previous reaction to the professor thing, i'm not sure if this is universal but where i live Professor is the highest possible academic tittle, given ONLY after 30 years of teaching + other requirements. And from how you described the new teacher she just did not seem the professor type X3 ))

Professor Matoi stopped mid-sentence as something crashed into the door.

*CRASH!*

The door flew off its hinges, creating a shockwave that blew everypony out of their desks. "Oi, idiot! We're in the middle of class right now!"Ryuko called out, bringing her sword scissor back out.

It was at this point that a massive head, shoulders, er, massive pony in general, forced himself into the classroom. He was white, with a short black mane and tail. "I'm on official business, stay out of this Matoi!" The colt turned to the class, giving them a stink eye before bellowing out some more. "I'm the disciplinary chair of Hounoji Academy, Ira Gamagori! Students of class 2 of Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, it has come to our attention that there is one among you who is hiding from the justice of our academy. Step forward now and accept your fate."

Dusk looked around noticing a shadow dart towards the door. Apparently Gamagori noticed it to, since he darted to the door, grabbing the fleeing mare around the neck. He turned to Ryuko with a smirk. "Sorry for the disruption, Matoi. Satsuki tracked another of her mother's agents here."

"Ah, no big deal, Gamagori. You actually missed Ragyo, or at least a clone of her, about five minutes ago. Just don't break the door down next time you want to visit. Say hi to sis for me!"

With a grin and a nod, Gamagori, dragging his prisoner behind him, disappeared through the door.

Professor Matoi turned back to the class. "Anyway, where were we?"

It was at that moment that the bell rang for the end of class.

"It would appear we are out of time. Before you go, I'd like to appologize for the events of class today. Hopefully it won't happen again. Class dismissed."

Azure, after the commotion, sighed to himself.
"Yay, first ever question in this new school...WRONG..."

Mage just wrote down notes, pretty much ignoring the insanity currently going on in the classroom.

((Yup. Going to just ignore all of that and keep to the Persona theme.))

"Well, 'That!' was interesting" Moon breathed as he puts away his journal and walked to his next class.

Blue watched the events in stunned silence, before blinking a few times. "The hay just happened?" She asked and tilted her head. "And protego is NOT a basic spell... did she just trick us?" she added in thoughts.

"Old friend of mine." Ryuko replied, popping up behind Blue with a smirk. "All you really need to know is I have lived, and still live, a crazy life. As for Protego not being basic, I beg to differ; all you need to do to cast it is focus on your need for protection as you channel magic through your horn. Very basic in my book. In any case, Professor Sparkle wanted me to pass on a message to you. She wants you to meet her on the Archery Field after school."

With that, Ryuko's horn glowed before she teleported out.

After the mention of professors 'book' Blue looked away and whispered to herself "Oh i bet you wrote the book on Mary Sue." after which she just sighed, flopped her ears and lied her head on her desk. She figured that if the professor answered to something she said only in her thoughts it has no point concealing herself to thoughts anyway.

((Not trying to be Mary Sue or anything, its just how that spell works.))



Dusk made quickly made his way to the cafeteria, got his lunch, and sat at an empty table.

Blue didn't leave the classroom for the lunchtime, just sitting at her desk and wondering about various stuff.

Azure left at lunch, if only to get his bearings on the place.

Mage made his way to the cafeteria, found some snacks, and began to eat.

Sabrina just ate a simple hay sandwich for lunch, as she was thinking about their earlier class, and what they had actually learnt.

Dusk slowly trudged into his next class, Magical Theory, sitting down in his seat by the window.

Blue was already in her seat waiting for the next class to start. Her head in her hooves on the desk, again she looked like she was mentally somewhere else.

After he was finished eating, Mage made his way to his next class, took his seat, and prepared for the class to begin.

After the last few students trudged in and found their seats, a bright flash appeared, followed by the appearance of Professor Sparkle.

"Good afternoon class, please turn to page 394 in your textbooks. Now then, a little pop-quiz to get you thinking this morning. Which of the following spells are commonly known to be fueled by emotions?"


((The only form of help I can give you for this question, is saying that the Moko Takabisha is from an anime called Ranma 1/2))

Blue rubbed her chin and thought about it before she sighed and raised her hoof. "The patronus and the moko takashiba are emotion based, the killing curse not." She said somewhat confidently.

Normally, when a question had an option of "All of the above" that tended to be the answer. However, Mage wasn't 100% sure.

However, he attempted to answer anyway.

"All of the above?" queried Mage, unsure of his answer himself.
