I haven't slept in more than 48 hours and I feel great! :3
I'm think clearly and I've written this topic once before, scrapped it, went somewhere else, and now I'm writing it again because I'm... very jittery and hyper. I don't drink coffee but I'm just really awake right now. I feel like a crazy person warding off satellites. It's amazing.

I--it's gone... now I'm just back at regular awakeness levels. I'm not going to tell you what I just saw, but it was pretty depressing.

Ooooop! Hyperness is back! ovO

I feel like this topic doesn't even belong in the off-topic section
Buuut I just checked the forum rules and there doesn't seem to be anything against this. You probably will take longer reading this than it took me to type. :3

It's only been two days :l
describe to me symptoms of this mild craziness, and I'll see if I'm sleep deprived.

Two days is a very long time for no sleep, and Mania can be a broad range of things, in this case excessive bouts of short bursts of hyperactivity, enthusiam and talkativness

Very long "bursts" of hyperactivity and enthusiasm (hours)
and I'm still not talkative any more than normal outside the internet.

I'm going to force myself to sleep now. Toodaloo!

Des Monty

Just go get some sleep, we'll be here in the morning.

You have obviously missed my point. I meant Quality over Quantity in regards to sleep, a person who slept well for 4 days would get more done than somone who didn't sleep, I didn't mean to go over yer head there, buddy.

ITT: we teach OP the importance of sleep

http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/exchange/node/1690

I already know the effects of sleep deprivation, though just never get it.
(I feel terrible right now btw. Been awake for half an hour. I'm usually back to normal in about 5 minutes. This isn't because I'm sleep deprived, I feel like I've slept too much... or an hour less than I should've) :x

Explolguy

Either way, purposely depriving yourself of sleep is an incredibly stupid things to do. Besides slowly going crazy from sleep deprivation, you completely wreck your immune system and open yourself up to get very, very ill. Take it from someone who juggled a full-time third shift position and full time schooling. Going days without adequate sleep messed me up pretty bad last year. It would be a shame to see that happen to someone else.
