Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. Genetic control. Information control. Emotion control. Battlefield control. Everything is monitored, and kept under control. War has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control. All in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction. And he who controls the battlefield, controls history. War has changed. When the battlefield is under total control, war... becomes routine.

I dunno. I was just looking at it and I suddenly got this urge to get inside. No, not just an urge--more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box.

Yeah. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can't put it into words. I feel... safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I'd found the key to true happiness. Does any of that make sense?

(Yes, I know my op was written along the lines of cooperation, but that's not what it was supposed to be about. It was about being the ruling guild and being the guild everypony depended upon)
