Thanks I'm hoping I'll do well when I take the written test, then the actual drivers test which will be the most nerve wrecking part.  :c
(I won't be taking the actual test for awhile though but I will be studying and practicing.)

I'll probably end up being a slow driver that people complain about and pass on the road, especially since I'm new to driving. o_o

Trixster

by just following speedlimit in my country.... you  are slow by default

Sea Foam

I've been putting off learning to drive for too long. I have my permit, (I SHOULD have my license, but I was very late in getting my permit) but I've only been behind the wheel about 4 or 5 times; never on the road. Quite frankly, I'm terrified.  >A<

Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes;
they call me on and on across the universe.
Thank you, Durpy, for the banner!

The Wandering Magus

sometimes i don't know which is worse: slow in the city with jaywalking pedestrians, or fast on the highway with crazy motorcycles

Jaywalkers, those are the silly ones that just walk over the road where they like are they not?

Do they not know that there are giant metal boxes that weight more than 1 tonne that are running past at high speeds?
Also, I'm the odd kind that would not want a licence for driving, as I do not like most of them, and they are too expensive for my liking. But that's merely me being barking odd.

Oh, it would appear that I got some fancy title, Notable pony, now that's something that I had not expected to gain.
Thanks everypony, for this most brilliant thing.

yep, and it gets SO frustrating when they think they're gods and just swagger into the road like it's none of anypony else's business...

Goldenrod

I was driving once along a road with a hedge next to the sidewalk, and this biker just came tearing out through a gap in it and dove across the rode about a foot in front of my bumper. Never even looked at me as I slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting the moron. Then after the screaming rubber got his attention, he just gave me a dirty look and kept on going. DD:

It's nothing bad. You just have to take it easy at first. Then move up to larger streets, and integrate yourself into the flow of traffic. And go on scenic drives to nowhere in particular.

I still don't care for freeways myself. Just so much traffic. Stop and slow. Speed up and keep up, but not too close. Cut in front and cut off. It's grating on the nerves.
May you walk on warm sands.
