The Retirement Home / Add/Subtract/Multiply/Divide to 100,000

So this is sort of a trust or betraying thread. Here's an example. First poster will set a number. Second poster can add, subtract, multiply or divide that number by any numbers from 0-9. Here's an example.

First post: 1
Second post: 1+1 = 2
Third post: 2x8 = 16
Fourth post: 16-5 = 11
Fifth post: 11/8 = 1.375
Sixth post: 1.375 + 9 = 10.375

And so forth...

Original Characters / Keeping my ponies canon

This is just me but when I make an OC I want the ponies to be in canon. So I have a question to everyone on the lore of MLP. Does their name have to completely reflect their cutie mark? Because Pinkie Pie seems to be an exception to this rule (Pinkie Pie has balloons for a cutie mark but Pinkie Pie doesn't sound like balloons :p), and on second thought Celestia's name does not reflect the sun on her flank but then again I guess some can argue that the sun is a "celestial" body.

MLP: FiM SD Archive / Why so much love for voice actors? What about the animators?

I mean seriously. I also want to know why whenever I look for the names of the animators in anime or cartoons you it's so hard to find them? Is the top executives keeping underpaid artist students out of the credits so they can't get any sort of credit for their work and that it all belongs to the executives?

In MLP this is just one of the things that puzzled me. Isn't it the animation that really matters? Without them you have no cartoon.

Video Games Archive / Where do I start on making games?

So I have zero knowledge in making games. I took a CS course once before but I don't remember a thing about it at all. :O

I have fiddled with RPG Maker for a long time but I want to try a slightly more professional way of developing games. I'm aware that I will be faced with lots of failures but if I can simply make something where you move a pony from one side of a screen to the other side that can be something.

Anyone know where I should start? A program or something to fiddle around with?

MLP: FiM SD Archive / Cadance and Twilight as the new Celestia and Luna?

Just something to tickle the mind. Both Celestia and Luna appear as opposing ends, light and dark. Cadance and Twilight seem to also have something like that, Cadance seems to be a pony of the light, Twilight is the pony of the dark. Of course Twilight could be considered somewhere between light and dark but if you think in this parallel she could take Luna's place of raising the moon and Cadance could raise the sun. Perhaps they will be soon learn to raise the sun and moon later.

To make it clear Cadance and Twilight are both alicorns and princesses. They are sisters-in-law (Luna and Celestia are sisters). Cadance may have her own kingdom but that doesn't mean she can't be given the task of raising the sun.
