I know it's just a cartoon but I always felt if they can control the weather, sun and the moon why wouldn't they just control them to grow the crops they want for the right seasons and other things?

Well in terms of militaristic power I believe the strongest would be the Elements of Harmony. Something Celestia or Luna doesn't have anymore since they rely on the six mane to utilize it. That could be a sign of a new generation. Celestia and Luna still hold the political position in power and can still control the sun and moon, but I feel if Twilight can achieve alicornhood she would become stronger later. And Cadence she is born an alicorn isn't she? Celestia has told Twilight she was the only one so far that was able to become an alicorn rather than be born as one.

Video Games Archive / Where do I start on making games?

So I have zero knowledge in making games. I took a CS course once before but I don't remember a thing about it at all. :O

I have fiddled with RPG Maker for a long time but I want to try a slightly more professional way of developing games. I'm aware that I will be faced with lots of failures but if I can simply make something where you move a pony from one side of a screen to the other side that can be something.

Anyone know where I should start? A program or something to fiddle around with?

Just something to tickle the mind. Both Celestia and Luna appear as opposing ends, light and dark. Cadance and Twilight seem to also have something like that, Cadance seems to be a pony of the light, Twilight is the pony of the dark. Of course Twilight could be considered somewhere between light and dark but if you think in this parallel she could take Luna's place of raising the moon and Cadance could raise the sun. Perhaps they will be soon learn to raise the sun and moon later.

To make it clear Cadance and Twilight are both alicorns and princesses. They are sisters-in-law (Luna and Celestia are sisters). Cadance may have her own kingdom but that doesn't mean she can't be given the task of raising the sun.

Does anybody else think "Flash Sentry" is a strange name?

Yes it is weird. Flash makes me thinking of the verb "to flash at someone" as in show your privates to someone. And sentry sounds like someone was playing too much TF2. You put it together it makes me think Flash Sentry is a machine or some sort.

If there was I have a dreadful feeling it would try too hard to be hip. It will be talking about pony twitter and be set in the future. Or it will become another Halo wannabe. Yeah that's right pony space marines. Like every game is turning out to be.

But since Diamond Tiara and Silverspoon as well as the rest of their class got their Cutie Marks but the CMC didn't it doesn't seem like ponies get their cutie marks at the same age. The mane six did get all their marks at the same time but they were probably different ages.

I would say Fluttershy just had her growth spurt early as well.

I wouldn't like it but after they made Cadance and Twilight alicorns, I wouldn't be surprised if they did this.

Well, they are thinking of removing Derpy Whooves but haven't decided yet. So let's hope they don't remove her.

They removed her persona but not the model. Her model remains she's just not known by any name and is just used for stock extra.

She does eat fruits, meats and vegetables seen it in some episodes or referred to. That's what really matters. All the sugar is burned off from her being so active. And she probably has a high metabolism as well.

More focus on Fluttershy for one episode. More focus on Rarity on another episode.

Also anyone noticing that every episode in Season 4 that isn't CMC is trying to put all the mane six into it? Lacks focus on the characters.

I personally disagree with this. Just look at the filly stage of Fluttershy, and the filly stage of Rainbow Dash.





Look at how long Fluttershy's legs are! None, and I mean NONE, of the other mane 6 are as tall as her. This always leads me to believing that Fluttershy is the oldest.

Unless it's some sort of mutant filly stage that makes her taller even if she's the same age.

From that I thought Fluttershy was just that tall shy girl, Rainbow Dash was the shorter spunkier girl. There are anime archetypes on that.

Well, non-alcoholic cider usually doesn't usually have foam.

Root beer has foam. Apple Cider seen as a drink "for a good time" parallels Butterbeer in Harry Potter or Root Beer in Snoopy. Gives the sense that they're drank for socializing but not alcoholic.
