Eden Eternal has a string of quests now starting from around level 10 or 15 that awards people for levelling. My level 36 halfkin has almost full costume set now. Plus there's also the housing system, And you can get costume items through doing reps. they're fairly common too, though Non-tradable. I got 2 in my first 4 or 5 tries.
Since a lot of things Eden Eternal gets are being coded into Grand Fantasia it's only a matter of time before it gets something similar. There's already been published screenshots of an Island Housing system on the Taiwan server.
My main on Grand fantasia is level 68 now. I guess what kept me going is because it was an escape from my worries, really.

I hope they have beta testing later on, that'd be awesome.
Am thinking, beta might come out at the end of summer or the year. But ya that'd be nice.
Hate to burst le bubble, but they are not doing everything on the Road to Alpha in less than a month. And I honestly doubt they'll be done by the end of the year.

or how they would always state NO MATTER WHAT the situation is THERE ARE TOO MANY or WE ARE OUTMATCHED!!! if they are hit at all... I had a wild boar tackle my lvl 150 pawn and they yelled WE ARE NO MATCH!!!

Oh! I have this game!
Don't have my xbox hooked up to live at the moment because of the logistics of doing that, but I had a Lvl 70 Ranger before I restarted as a mage to try Magic Archer.
So far I've enjoyed the needing to run around because fast travel was always my biggest complaint in Skyrim and Oblivion since it ruins any immersion.
My only complaint is the pawns endlessly rattling off the same 5 lines every time you exit a town or run down a road.
and they always say it without emotion

anypony got any mods?
Yep, although most of them aren't too flashy. Here are the main ones I use now or have used in the past:
-Jaysus Swords - weapon mod with tuns of visual variety (and load screens with depressingly bad grammar)
-Sounds of Skyrim - sound mod that makes the game sound a lot more alive
-"Ultra Realistic World Lighting" - makes the game less gray, more colorful, and a bit darker at night
-Ranger Ridge - modest-sized but very cool house for ranger-type characters
-The Asteria - a friggin' airship home
-Apocalypse Spell Package - adds tons of interesting new spells, although some of them are pretty overpowered
Those, and a handful of balance mods to make Destruction and Heavy Armor less awful.Quote from: Book Smarts on 2012 Jul 24, 18:42:53
I could buy every house possible in skyrim since I gathered 100k worth of gold with no mods or cheats
I'm kind of tempted to start a new character to see if I can get that high without ever killing anything - just by abusing alchemy, which is absurdly profitable. I guess this could get boring quickly though
edit: You know what would be fantastic? A mod that makes it so that almost every NPC is dead, and you have to survive on your own, without having craptons of cheaply available crafting materials and potions and stuff like that. A sort of post-apocalyptic Skyrim, I guess.

Ugh, racing games look easy, but the multiplayer is so crazy,
people will hit you out of the race at the starting line
