That gif is sort of amazing.  lol

I can't think of too many games that annoy me only bosses really. Although that Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde game is the most evil NES game to ever exist in the space time continuum.

Out of games I've played recently, as its the only thing that comes to mind right now, is the last 2 call of duty games. Not only is the typical player bad(from my experience), and not only in game skill, and now all the lag compensation business...

To me black ops 2 is nearly unplayable because of falsified lag due to my good internet speed and the lag compensation. Because of this I can only enjoy the game if I'm being a jerk, shotgun and rocket is really cheap, and when I go to play any other way, I 'miss' all enemies.

I didn't make it that far, but I can completely agree that that home-run derby is ridiculous. lol

ahem.

1)any game with tac goggles
2)any game with a rocket launcher(Unreal tournament '99, 2003, 2004, 2007,3.....i'm sure there's more)
3)any game where you have capture the flag where you defeat the entire team, grab their flag and start running back to your base and they SPAWN IN FRONT OF YOU!  Why do they make you kill the entire team TWICE?!?(Again, that's unreal tournament, and if it wasn't for me making pony voicepacks for it I wouldn't touch it).
4)Any Sonic game on the Wii, and every Sonic game past Sonic Heroes.

I'm sure more will come to mind

Games that seem unfinished. We got this game for the wii, and it seriously looked like a sad, half-asked attempt for a game. We only did one level, then got so frustrated with EVERYTHING. Even the graphics were horrible.

Games with really bad controls / physics... You know, when e.g. jumping simply feels wrong... Or when the usual controls (e.g. A for jumping, B for running / action) are switched... And there are quite a lot of those around... (Yes Bart, I'm looking at your NES games...)

Every First/Third Person Shooter game I've ever played.

I can play them with friends for about 10 minutes, but after that I just wish I were doing anything else.

Why do people praise this game? It's not well made, it's frustrating for all the wrong reasons, and it's full of glitches, as far as having some game breaking situations! I played all the way through this game a year or two ago, and in the end, it didn't even feel worth it. Whenever you beat a "famous for being hard" game, you normally are supposed to feel like you accomplished something as far as "gamer credibility" is concerned, but this game felt like I just wasted my time.  :l

Mindjack...
Square Enix, you really screwed up royal on this game XD It's not enough that you've milked the Final Fantasy franchise so much farther than it needs to be, but this is the game you start out with in 2011?

Oh, before I forget... Prince of Persia! No, not the old ones, they were great, but I have an issue with the new one on the 360... It just doesn't really have that same feel to it the others had. I mean, the main thing that annoyed me is they took away the 2 aspects that I loved so much about this game : The mind boggling puzzles that you could spend forever trying to figure out, especially the ones I remember from Warrior Within, which, I actually NEVER gotten to finish! I'm still excited to actually try that game again, but, the new Prince of Persia doesn't really have the difficult puzzles, and they also took away the challenges the previous games had in the sense that you are IMMORTAL @.@ They seriously made The Prince immortal and took away the fun. Sure, in the old games, you could reverse time to help you fix a mistake, but that, in my case, doesn't count because the sands, you have to use them wisely and they were quite a helpful aspect if you knew when was the right time to use them. If you reversed time too late, then you're screwed like a lightbulb XD But, no, In Prince of Persia for the 360, I think they branched off too far from what made this such a great game for people. Not to mention...
Spoiler: show
THE REAL ENDING IS FOR DLC! WAT?

But anyways, I would really love to see more Prince of Persia games done the RIGHT way... Although The Prince was kinda pushed out of the way by the coming of Altair of Assassin's Creed, so I doubt I'll be seeing the Prince anytime soon XD

While I do agree with you about the immortality/lack of sands and the ending (And I vaguely remember it being a bad ending too), I LOVED that game. It was very fun and very beautiful! I love Cell Shading... Could have used more combat, but it was solid! ^-^

I admit, the Cell Shading actually was pretty beautiful in this game, not to mention I loved listening to Elika and the Prince rant on back and forth at each other, given the circumstance they're in XD I admit, this game does appeal more to it's writing than the gameplay, but it came crumbling down at the ending,
Spoiler: show
Which, if Elika actually stayed dead and the Prince continued to mourn over her death, I mean, yeah! That ending would feel like it fits more here.

I changed my controls immediately in Skyrim because they went with really stupid controls on Xbox360. :l
Can't completely remember what it was. I think it was Y for jump, A for action, and B for menu. I changed it to A for jump, B for action, and Y for menu.

Games with time limits, like Pikmin and Majora's Mask.
I hate feeling rushed.
They require careful time management, which as someone that goofs around in games a lot, is not fun to deal with.

I hate sport games... Mainly football (both american and european). I just don't know what is the fun about them, and having to buy one each year to keep the game together with the real thing is a waste of money....

And games that doesn't have any challenge at all, like Epic Mickey. I played a lot of this game, and they never stopped telling me what I was supposed to do! If it had a puzzle, they almost tell you how to get past it... Even if I really liked the idea of the game, I couldn't finish it because it didn't gave me the challenge I aways look for in games. I don't know if it gets harder at the end, but until the middle it was too easy.

Annoying, but addictive and still fun for me, would have to be FTL: Faster Than Light.  I barely made it to the final boss' last stage before it blasts my ship into oblivion.  Micro-management has never been my strong suit, but I can't stop coming back for more!

Sometimes it's kinda fun to have timed events, as it makes you rush and it makes things exciting. Gives off Adrenaline even. B)

It can be annoying though, as you pointed out Woona. Sometimes you just want to mess around but nope, it ain't hapening. Not unless you want to mess things up horribly.

I mean, Dead Rising for example. One day, my cousin and I decided to JUST mess around. No missions, no nothing, only zombie killing. Almost 48 hours later a nuclear bomb goes off, ending the game because we didn't stop the evil guy. And we were having fun. :l

I dunno, guys. In Okami, there's a part where you have to run through a cursed forest, and it's a timed event. You're running past trees that throw stuff at you, sometimes running across ice, and jumping through holes in spiky veins, and sometimes the hole moves. If you hit the spiky vines, it knocks you back a little bit.

Anyway, after getting through the forest, I felt more "Thank god it's over." than "Wow, I just achieved something!" It did kinda get my heart going, though. Like "Runrunrunrun, gotta make it, gogogo!"

hardest part of the game for me

Hardest part for me was racing Tobi the flying paper through those obstacle courses. :l That's one of the reasons I'm not sure if I'll do an Okami LP. Both times I replayed, I got to that part, and I was like "Why am I doing this again?!"

The blockhead on Oni Island annoyed me too because you have to paint on the dots so precisely it's hard. But then I found out about the exploit I've mentioned around here before. Jump, headbutt invisible wall, backflip over blockhead.

I was talking about a whole game being timed, not an event. With events you're indefinitely glad its over... I hate timed events in some games. Though they do give you an adrenaline rush.

Believe it or Not, Devil May Cry 4... Oddly enough, It annoys me that I can't find any replayability in this game that allows me to complete it from start @.@ And This coming from the guy who loved the 1st, 2nd, and 3, and replayed them who knows how many times XD.

Also, the New Turok game... The original was such a classic; heck, I still have that game, but that new one for 360 and PS3 was... Yeah, the graphics were nice, but It didn't really feel have that same feeling as the original, or a better one for that matter

Maximo Ghosts to Glory (Being overly bias since I haven't gave it too much of a chance XD), because everywhere I turn the goddarn ground falls all around me XD

Halo 3 Odst, Gosh Darnit Bungie XD I enjoyed this, but did you really think this would pass as a full priced game? This looks like an add on!

Not that this next game is bad, but annoys me so darn much XD .Hack// Infection Part 1. Noooooow, the combat system really annoys me, where as monsters can overpower you to points it's crazy, for some reason you have to command your team mates to attack EVERY TIME you jump into combat if they are to use any skills whatsoever.

HALO 4

YES. Halo 4 ANNOYS THE HECK OUT OF ME.

Look, I still like it, but that doesn't mean so much in it annoys me to death.

Here's my little peeves with it that aren't that annoying but still tickle me the wrong way.
~The spartans' armor doesn't cover them completely anymore?
~The thruster armor ability seems a bit too slow, the distance you travel is fine it's the speed. I die a lot from this thing not being fast enough to get me out of danger in time.
~The UNSC SMG is gone? Because of the promethean guns perhaps? Come on, there are bigger games, keep the SMG.
~The people who hold their shield armor ability up even though death is certain. Best example is they're out in an open field with 3 guys aiming at him and he has no where to go and no chance to be saved. Put the shield down, die and respawn earlier than waiting to die you dork.
~Promethean grenade sucks, I've barely gotten any kills with it. It's like a small kill ball with 90% kill power taken away.

Now here's the things that just upset and dissapoint me.
~Where's the Arbiter?! I know he was never the focus of either of the games he was in but he was AWESOME. Why is he not here now? Did he pass away? Did he stay on his home planet? I would've thought he'd show up to help the chief take down the Didact.
~No human air vehicles? Why? Were they just too much for the new MANTIS? HMM?
~No promethean vehicles at ALL? WHAT THE- >:O
~A good handful of the armors are either (A) hardly distinguishable from each other. I'm looking at you chest peices. Or (B) look stupid. I'm looking at you helmets. A lot of the helmets look like 343 tried way to hard to make them look cool. Some of them also have no visors, which is a lot like taking a person's face off.
~Leveling up seems WAY too easy. I've seen some people who have cleared at least 4 specializations back in December and late November where as in Reach it took far longer to reach max rank. That and people who have specializations at max level get special perks.
~A lot of the mulitplayer maps just annoy the crap out of me. I think Rangorok is heavily overrated. Most of the game is you and everyone else standing behind hills and peeking at each other for headshots. In fact, quite a few of the other big team maps are like that. The mantis is doomed on Rangorok, just get behind a hill with 4 buddies and shoot it till it explodes.
~Melee seems so awkward. If I go to melee a player I don't lunge unless my gun is touching theirs. A lot of times I'll miss, they'll just shoot me dead or shoot me till my shields drop and then somehow land in a melee kill. I was fantastically good at melee in Halo 3 and Reach so either I'm not used to this melee system or it's messed up.
~I really don't know what it is but all the guns that aren't the SAW, shotgun or rocket launcher just...don't seem right. I really don't know what, but they just tend to feel far less efficient then they ever have. The assault rifle seems to run out of ammo just before a kill and seems to loose accuracy far too fast. The DMR sprays after 2 shots so using the "bloom" and timed shots rather than spamming the fire button is needed all the time. The battle rifle has been...nerfed for the first time? Its damage seems a little too low, like it's supposed to be so weak that you'd only use it to compensate for not having a DMR. The needler has enough ammo for about 2 kills now and it's clip is extremely tiny. The sniper rifle no longer seems to have vehicle destruction power, which upsets me cause I loved destroying tanks with it. A lot of the promethean guns just suck, they give away your position in multiplayer and do little damage and fire slowly. Except for the OVERPOWERED INCINERATION CANNON. With ONE shot I destroyed a mantis, the 4 little explosions after the shot blows up destroyed it.....stupid incineration cannon....and that mantis had full health, I saw the guy from across the map get in it and march to the frontlines. And where's the sentinel beam?!
I won't go any further on weapons, you'll be reading all day cause this is big enough already.
~Finally....there were reports of hacking....WITH PICTURES TO BACK IT UP. Players were modding they're characters to that they're bodies lacked the armor pieces of the spartan suit so they just looked like thin black....stick men. That also made the helmet invisible, we all know the spartans lack heads and faces in the game so theirs just nothing there. This means you can't see their heads, which makes it VERY difficult to headshot them. They could peek at you from a hill and you'd never know they were there. You know, unless they're using promethean guns. x3

Look Halo 4 is an....okay Halo game but 343 really needs to get their crap together if they expect me to buy Halo 6 after a possibly worse or just as bad Halo 5.

Sands of Destruction: Actually not that bad of a game. The voice acting is nice, and the story is interesting. I have a majorly irritating nag about it though. The random encounters. There are waaaay too many. At least in Pokemon you can avoid them in most places or you have a way to prevent them. In Sands, you have no prevention, you are only safe in cities, and they happen like.... every five steps! Not to mention that when you enter an area for the first time, it's really easy for any random encounter monster to totally wipe you. Unless of course, you get lost in the mazes that serve as the areas and end up level grinding for two and a half hours while trying to find the way out.

Phantasy Star 0: Probably one of my favorite games ever, actually. I love the fact that you can be a robot. I usually play as a newman, but it's nice to have the option there. Anyway, considering as I play as the physically-weak, yet magic-adept newman, it's a bit tougher to start out. And the newman starting area would have the most irritating boss. I am talking, of course, about the cephalopod menace: Octo Diablo. As if trying to beat this sucker at level 10 wasn't hard enough, your AI companions are completely useless. Their attack power is so laughably weak, it really isn't worth reviving them to help out.

He appeared in the book Halo: The Thursday War. See this (http://www.halopedia.org/Thel_Vadam).

I must say I agree that Halo 4 is quite annoying; not for the same reasons, but because 343i twisted up the lore and backstory so much it's painful. The game didn't have that traditional Halo feel for me, either.

Vindictus @.@ I like it, but it's ungodly repetitive. Not to mention the physics are glitchy and it's pretty linear :T
Kai is overpowered in the sense he's an archer who specializes in either charging into battle or staying behind in the sidelines with AoE attacks and so on, while Eive ... Basically she just has Mana shield and Mana amber which protects her from a LOT of damage XD.

XD I don't think any game for the kinect has been good, aside from dance central.

Starwars The old Republic and I haven't even played it yet! I Think my main reason might either be with the launcher or some external program because for whatever reason, the Launcher.Exe file always seems to kill itself whenever I launch it and the fix file isn't really helping me out that much either XD Like, as soon as I launcher the client file, about 5 seconds late it automatically disappears from my task manager list and I haven't even gotten the client banner to pop up yet.

I dislike it when the AI's melee attacks in games (like Halo) has a strike radius about twice as far--and wide--as his weapon physically swings.  I dodge the weapon like a boss, but I can't be blamed that every creature that picks a fight with me has the force...

Oh, and Star Wars: Battlefront II.  Space battles.  You're flying along, in the middle of nowhere--and suddenly, the game throws every fighter on the map, ally or enemy, in your path.  It constantly interrupts long-range missile strikes, generally gets in my way, and even gives me team-kills.  Worst idea ever, psycho programmers...

First off, great game actually, but they took away a few big pieces from the game that everybody really liked. Say for instance, Dante and Virgil are now not as likeable as they once were and...

I agree, although in Okami, I haven't gotten there. Okamiden on the other hand... I was like, "Could ya run any faster Chibiterasu!?! Get out of the event already!!!" I still liked the game though.

Assassin's Creed 3.
I am not a fan of the series, this is the only game I have ever played past 15% of the story, finished actually.

I wish I didn't. I won't spoil the ending, but that was the worst ending to a game I have played in a long time.

Now, what annoys me?
~Enemies are too frequent and the world design makes it near impossible to escape pursuit. I know that in the previous games had much more rooftops to them and less guards. In AC3, theirs little rooftops and TONS of british soldiers all over.
~Combat and Money is too easy. I had 20k E right at sequence 6 due to "hidden" chests in the game. Combat is too darn easy, press B+X to win.
~Historic battles are disappointing. Wanted to go fight the british head on? Too bad, your path is set to go around them, the battles are very linear. Some battles make you tell soldiers when or where to shoot.
~This is probably just me but, I wanted to play Desmond more.
~The characters SUCK! Connor is the least likable protagonist I have ever played. The only characters I liked were the founding fathers, Sam Adams and Haytham, who made me chuckle at his attitude.

I despised that boss too, and I think it's the main reason I don't play the game more often.  I love most of the other bosses, Quadraxis in particular, but I just can't bear the thought of dealing with the Boost Guardian again.

Not a happy ending=/=bad ending.

Also I have no idea what you're talking about in the rooftop thing. There is a huge amount of rooftops that I barely even get to the ground.

Also this is assassin's creed. It's not the combat it's how cool you look doing it. The combat system was never something to bring people in. Also the game is set so that by sequence 6-7 which marks half of the game you would have at least 10k so you don't feel the need to constantly find money. Think of how annoying it would be to have to look for tons of money to buy something , and you already beat the game.

Also the saddest part is that you thought it would be a good idea to let the player pass through the entire British army. The whole thing is self explanatory , and if the creators did what you were trying to say it would make the game a failure. You can't beat an army. Even if you have an army helping you no assassin would survive going through them. No matter who is helping him there are too much , and he will eventually get shot/stabbed.

Yes it is just you. Playing as Desmond breaks the immersion , and the deep lock you have with the characters. I love Desmond's story , but it was a bad move to have you play Desmond right when I started to be immersed in the great world.

Now this one made me think you barely knew what you were talking about. Connor is a combination of Batman , George Washington , and Link from the legend of Zelda! He grows as a child finding that his mother was murdered , and seeks both revenge , and to liberate everyone who has suffered injustice while also going on adventures while looking awesome. Also I have no idea how you saw amazing characters such as Achilles bad. You need to train harder on your character development abilities considering you think these characters are bad.

I am begging you. If these are reasons you find that masterpiece bad then stray away from game design , and reviewing at all times. Because it seems you don't know much about them.

Eh, that just seems like Blue, don't worry about it Teal, but he has a point about rushing head on into the british army. It doesn't seem very assassin like XD

My opinion, I'm kinda stuck on where the heck is AC going on after this anymore, I assume we're going to be playing more of Desmond in the next one, but after the American, where else is there to go? Civil War? WWII? I'm gonna be surprised to see how they place in an assassin in WWII for Assassin's creed because I think this means you're more stealth oriented? Whatever, that's just bugging me now.

Rooftop jumping is rather dumbed down in my opinion, where as In previous games you had a chance to get down before the guard gets you, but here it's insta-aggro. I wonder if this is to accommodate for the fact that they know he's not a normal civilian? XD

And blues, you dare call it a masterpiece? Sure, it's ok, but I don't exactly find the game series so replayable, where as I have no motivation to actually replay the game. Sure, I like the game's story, but it kinda has that feeling thaaaaaat I've already seen this somewhere before XD. And I agree with Teal, the game is pretty casual. Sure, you can mix up attacks, but when the game is actually so easy you only need a certain button combination to win without death... There's something seriously wrong there. Though, most of the time I was either countering or throwing knives at people, which is VERY effective.

I wasn't stomping on your opinion. I was trying to point out flaws in your reasoning. Which seems to be how normal debates happen. That last remark was me saying that you should either work on your abilities to judge a game , or stray away from it. Which I found as advice any person would give "You should either work on your ability , or leave it.".

Also Stars those are basic faults you can find in any game. I still find it a masterpiece because both of you haven't thought about what it has done right , and what measures it took to make those things barely noticeable.

I suppose you're right Stars, that's just Blue.

I'm annoyed by the CoD series. Here's my top 3 reasons why.

3. The stories are boring. I can't care for any of the characters in the stories, when one dies I just shrug it off. "That sucks"

2. Core game never changes. I'm not talking about killstreaks, perks, weapon attachments, or any of that. I'm talking about what you're limited to in the "Barebones" game modes for multiplayer. To me I see that as the core gameplay and it never changes between the games. The meta for these games is "Brainless shooter"

And my Number 1 reason. It's easy. Way too easy. I distinctly remember for each CoD game I played my first multiplayer match in each game I had completely dominated in, except for MW2. I know it's not supposed to be hard but...I find a lack of challenge to anything. The most challenge I get is trying to find a way to kill a corner camper or control my gun. Guns and their recoil in that game...

I can't hold this against the series but I hate the CoD fanbase. These people just obsess over the game, play it till they hit 10th or whatever the max prestige is in just a short time, insult anyone who says the series is bad, ect. you should know. I don't mean to anyone who likes the games, but to those who are those crazy fans. Those guys need chill pills and OJ.

@Blues doesn't change the fact I was infuriated trying to just walk the rooftops in the game. :l
I hate the game, you don't.

Far Cry 3's multiplayer.
Why is it a CoD rip off? It's not even a good CoD rip off, which is kinda laughable since CoD is...CoD. lol

Why is that the new default me  :l .

Could you people please get off my back? I see one thing I disagree with , and for sharing my opinion I am somehow beating the living crap out of other opinions. When someone gets mad for some reason I try to clear that up , but they out right ignore the post , and pretend I did nothing but insult them. For some reason Blues is now considered an insult. I disagree with your opinion. So? Just because I don't have your point of view doesn't mean i'm stomping on your opinion. Just because i'm clearing what someone was wrong in doesn't mean i'm calling them dumb.

When will I ever hear the end of this? People have been on my case ever since I said something they didn't agree with.

Teal I really don't care anymore. I actually won't care about what anyone posts about this. I'm not starting anything. I just want to get people off my back.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________

Call of duty is not as bad as people say. It's one smidge better than what everyone is calling it.  I hate it , but I would play it  when I have no other options. It's a small time passer.

[glow=darkgreen,2,300]I agree, but theres other options as the mmofps what you can play for "free" (as ever, the one what pay, the one what get too powerful weps) and you can make your way. I saw people with real money bought weapons and they failed or called me hacker for just kill them :l

Seems what being good in something turn you into a hacker in a mmofps, I used to be a good sniper (now im very average since I dont play and lost skills)

Example: you kill with the normal "bad" sniper someone with a "good" weapon, then you are called hacker or noob[/glow]

I recall Ubisoft making a big deal that they compensated for the lack of rooftops with the fact that you can go through buildings via the windows and such.
I also recall seeing that they seemed to have designed trees for parkour/free-running, as well.

Just wanted to point that out. Though, I haven't gotten to play my copy of AC3 yet, so I dunno how successful Ubisoft was at that system. From the videos I've seen of it in action, it looked like it was pretty good.

Really hate that in Mabinogi every monster can spam you with the exact same skill and get you in a stun lock possition >.>
Another thing, the Lycanthrope enemy always regenerates unless you use the skill Windmill, or you can 1 shot kill them.
Also, the Latency issues Nexon has every time they host an event... Why bother hosting events if your servers cant handle the load?

I feel exactly the same way.
Been playing Vindictus more or less since it came to America.
Nowadays I play it maybe once a month, because every time I log in, I'm reminded how much I dislike Nexon.
No game company is as undeserving of their good fortune as Nexon is.  :]

I just finished the original Assassin's Creed for the first time. Yeah, I've been meaning to play the series for a long time and I'm just catching up to the party. The only reason I decided to pick it up now is because I got AC3 free with my graphics card and I don't like skipping games in a series. Heck, truth be told I thought the game was just about an assassin doing his job back in middle age Israel. I had no idea it was a sci-fi game.  :P

Really though, for an assassin game I found it extremely lacking when it came to...oh, I don't know...STEALTH? Really, stealth seemed like a complete and total afterthought in this game. You can't press yourself against walls to be stealthy, you can't peer around corners, you can't crouch down behind low walls. Hell Altair can't even really 'sneak' at all.

First, the upfront combat is laughably easy. I could take on mastodonic hordes of guards without the slightest bit of effort. Altair is supposed to be an assassin, no some super-warrior one man army. What's the point of even trying to be stealthy when it's so absurdly easy to get by on brute force? Just wait till the enemy attacks and counter them for a one shot kill...totally thrilling combat d00d...

Second, Altair can only move at three speeds. One of which looking like he's on a Sunday morning walk, and the other two being running: which you can't assassinate someone without Altair jumping on them like a wild hyena and alerting every guard in the same zip code. Yeah, I know the game is supposed to be about being incognito and blending into the crowd. But late in the game when the cities are on high alert and know to look for the 'guy in the white hood'. (Protip, Altair. How about you just take of said white hood?) Your cover is blown very easily when walking the streets, meaning rooftops are a far better option. When that roof archer turns around you'd better hope he can't see half of Altair's as you're awkwardly staring out from behind a pillar. And if you happen to be behind a waist-high wall at the time, you're screwed. Forget bending your knees and crouching down behind the wall like any other rational human being would do. Altair is apparently too cool for that. He won't stand to have creases on his pants, oh no!

What's more, there's really no true incentive to play incognito. It seems the guards in the Holy Land have the eyes and ears of hawks, but the attention span and memories of Alzheimer's patients. You can run around on a murdering spree in the middle of Jerusalem, then sit on a bench around the corner and become invisible. Because it's so hard to look for the guy in the white robe with 9000 knives all over him amirite?

Speaking of murder, despite how often the characters demand respect for the Creed and not to harm innocents, there's really no consequences at all for killing civilians. When I realized this I just made a habit of killing beggars and drunkards who push you on sight. Don't know why so many poor women in the Holy Land think it's a good idea to continually pester the heavily armed man in a hood.

Don't get me wrong, I found the story of the game quite interesting and I'll probably play the rest of the series if only for this. I hope the gameplay gets better further in the series. Actually playing the game between story progression felt more like a chore than fun to me.  >:/

you have to think of the setting when the first one came (you have the ability to free run, look cool, cities were huge, graphics were awesome, and just the sheer number of npcs were amazing)
yes the game was repetitive and could be boring
but what I look at is how much better 2 was from 1
the leap was huge in my opinion

yes at time it can be frustrating but no matter how mad I got I was still having a blast plaing

tl;dr: AC 1 should be terrible compared to the new ones, that shows that they are making the games better and better

Spoiler: show
I just finished the original Assassin's Creed for the first time.

Christ Almighty, what a rant. I think I'm done.

I skipped AC1 and read the story simply because my friends told me the gameplay for it sucked and that they improved it in AC2. I think they were right.
One of the characters even tells Desmond that their Animus 2.0 is a much better version of the Animus than the one he used in AC1, just as a little reference to the improved gameplay. lol

By the way, killing civilians has a consequence in AC2. They have a tiny bit of leniency just in case you did it completely by accident, but if you kill two or three, it desynchronizes you and sets you back. Killing includes grabbing a civilian and throwing them in water because apparently all NPCs can't swim. X3 I... was testing a theory... after I bumped into someone on a bridge and wondered "Wait, did he just... drown? Seriously? :I"
(Bumping someone off a ledge into water doesn't count, but throwing them in does)

There are missions that you fail for being seen, especially the ones where you have to follow someone. Some missions are easier if you do it stealthily.

Mabinogi, and maybe just anything Nexon's produced XD
Also, the Latency issues Nexon has every time they host an event... Why bother hosting events if your servers cant handle the load?

I feel exactly the same way.
Been playing Vindictus more or less since it came to America.
Nowadays I play it maybe once a month, because every time I log in, I'm reminded how much I dislike Nexon.
No game company is as undeserving of their good fortune as Nexon is.  :]

I liked Mabinogi. but I found that Mage PvP is horrable :P

XD Try Bard PvP or Elf Archer pvp... DoT effects in that game are overpowered in PVP :U

I picked up AC2 and it's definitely worlds better than the first game. The new blending system is much more immersive and combat is more varied. There's no question that gameplay is better so far. In the first game every chapter was more of the same stuff: Climb some towers, save some citizens, collect some intel, assassinate boss. Every. Read the forum rules.. Chapter.

Some complains though is that the no notoriety system seems like a joke. It's easy as hell to lower your notoriety. If in real life clearing your name was as easy as tearing down a few posters, well we'd be in trouble. You just tear down wanted signs and guards instantly forget who you are. It should at least take time. I like to keep my notoriety up anyway, though, because it feels more immersive that way.

I also really wish you could choose any three weapons for you hotkeys, instead of having to fiddle with the weapon wheel. I much prefer daggers to swords. And I certainly don't want to lug around a big freakin hammer. Have you never heard of 'subtlety'?  :I If it were up to me, I'd hotkey dagger, hidden blade, and throwing knives like a real assassin.  ovO

Also, Ezio's street clothes were cool. I wish I could choose to wear them instead of the assassin's robes. Or at least take off that stupid look cloak.  >:/ Glad they at least let you die your clothes, though. I dyed mine dark brown, I prefer dark colors.

Sonic adventure. :l Don't get me wrong, I do like, and enjoy the game, but it has so many problems. Though the  version I'm specifically referring to is the PC dreamcast collection version.

It's literally a port of the dreamcast game, with locked 480p resolution... Of all the problems this game has there are only two that should have been fixed by now, the 8 directional movement, and the resolution. They just did such a abhorrent job of porting the game.

Though the biggest complaint is that SA2 on steam is nearly a perfect port; HD and widescreen output, and surprisingly better multi-display support than some current games. They really should release a patch for it. I mean if some fans could create a hack to get it in HD and proper widescreen, sega should have no problem, seeing as how they have the development files, and are not limited to the final product. Stupid lazy developers.

The fight with Fortune on Metal Gear Solid 2. She literally fires her rail gun so much that it's kinda hard to dodge it, and then to top it off, your bullets go around her whenever you shoot her. This boss is a nightmare on Extreme difficulty XD
