Today's Smile

Joining this thread today with yesterday's and today's smile!

Yesterday, while I was out with my dad, we went to eat at a food court. While we were waiting for the food, he left to buy some stuff, then the food arrived. I was struggling to carry the two full trays when suddenly a cute girl asked me if I needed any help.

It was so sweet of her, so kind and so unexpected... I felt warm and fuzzy for the rest of the day (And today too).

Now today's smile!

Well... My dad bought me the acoustic guitar I'd been eyeing for some time now, and I had the chance to play it for a while. Hint: IT'S AWESOME!

The catch is he's not giving it to me untill Christmas.

My store had a health inspection today.  It passed, naturally, but the inspector actually told me that my department had received the highest score it had ever had since the store opened back in 2006.  It's nice to see my efforts paying off already

Psh. My family is going to buy our fetid-smelling artificial Christmas tree today. The "branches" are held together with rotting sinew.

Seriously though, seems pretty early... not sure if that sounds silly or if I'm jealous  I'm probably going to have to wait till just before Christmas, since my sister is flying in pretty late, and I think she wants to be there for the tree-cutting.

On-topic: effectively getting a one-day school week this week.  Now to hope I have the self-discipline to get a movie or two done.
