/whisper bug - when two ponies share the same name

Hi, I have found a bug.

My friend, Starbeam97 has a character named Starbeam. Theres another player however who shares her in-game name "Starbeam".
When I try to whisper Starbeam I get a message that "I need to be more spesific"

Something like this:

Please be more spesific

Starbeam97 - Starbeam
someotherusername - Starbeam

I am completely unable to PM my friend! I have tried every combination. Also tried to PM username and not pony name. Regardless I am just given the message above. This is my first post, hope I didn't make any mistakes ;_;.
