I really like the prospect of having a Scootaloo episode dealing with her flight troubles.
PowerPonies? Wut O.o
The Apple-core song was good.
Mixed feelings about return of Nightmare Moon. Will have to wait and see how it turns out.

We finally got a in-show map of equestria now :D

Except the placements of things are alittle different and there seems to be more added to it

We already knew Scootaloo can't fly. It's awesome that we'll have an episode all about it, too!

Okay SO here's my reaction to ALL the things:

  • Finally addressing Scootaloo's lack of flying. YES. YES YES YES. I've been waiting for this since season one!!! (Also Diamond Tiara sounds like a mini Glenda from Wicked, omg)

  • GO GO POWER PONIES!! Also cheesy and over the top the top villain this is going to be greeeeaaat!! I hope it's like some kind of canon AU or something!! I don't want Maretropolis to be a real place...maybe Twilight zapped everybody inside a comic book?

  • I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO THIS SONG FOR HOURS ON END, SOMEBODY SEND HELP!!! Also Applebloom's voice has matured a bit since the last time she sang haha..

  • I'm pretty sure Twilight is re-living Celestia's memories here. The writers wouldn't be so lazy as to rehash Nightmare Moon. Plus it'd be an insult to Luna's reform if they just had her turn evil again and again.

I'VE GOT IT! EUREKA! I just realized something, guys!!

Remember, before season 3, we were told there'd be more about Celestia and Luna's past, but that never happened in season 3? WHAT IF...

What if they didn't know that season 3 would be a half season yet, and that episode about their past is being put in season 4?!!! And that's what the thing about Luna becoming Nightmare Moon is about!

I was just saying 'in-show' meaning a map in the show and not outside of the show. The only map we seen in the actual show was that old map granny had of equestria and even then. Old maps tend to outdated and in need for some revisions because of ect and ect reason. I never said there was no cannon map of equestria out already, all I stated was that the show seems to be showing a newer version of the map that isn't outdated like granny's map.
But, I understand the confusion of my post, as that can be taken the other way like you thought It was talking about. X3

I didn't watch the video, but, I know what's in it due to reading about it on Equestria Daily.

I'm hopeful that this season will satisfy everyone.

love, love, LOVE the song. :D  Looks like Pinkie got adopted into another family.  Or are they distant relations?  It's nice that she gets to feel some Apple love. :')

Poor Scootaloo!  But at least the issue's finally being addressed seriously.

Oh, and "bask in Your precious light" sounds like Luna's not actually talking to Twilight, but to Celestia, and that Twilight's just reliving her teacher's memories, since she clearly doesn't recognize the throne room and Luna seems to be ignoring all of Twilight's questions and comments.  Just a thought.
