"Hmmm, maybe he is still training and just changed the locatio-" suddenly the pegasus saw Maple's sword lying on a path that was leading towards a forest. "Oh. Nevermind. It seems he left towards that forest, without his sword. I think he might be in a bit of trouble, should we check on him?"

"Wow, nice work Lynx!" Christoph said and carelessly threw away the shield. "Also, congrats on your level-up."
Looking at his stats, the pegasus then added: "I think I'll go back to our little 'headquarters' and rest up for a while. I really want to properly attack again, not just defensively stand there trying to survive... In the meantime, I can also see how bad that scratch from the manticore is. I hope I didn't get poisoned, but just in case, could you, uh, maybe see if you can find an antidote or a doctor or something just to be safe?"

"Thank Celestia that tail is gone!" Christoph sighed happily "Still, I can't do much anymore with my stamina being that low..." He looked around and found an old, rusty metal shield leaning on a wall a few metres away "I'll be right back." The black pegasus flew to the location of the shield, equipped it and returned to the manticore battle. 'I'm usually not the defensive type, but I guess this will have to do for the moment...' Christoph thought and then told Lynx: "I'll just distract the manticore. I will use this shield to block the attacks, and you go for him, alright? Hope this thing takes a few hits..."

Christoph tried to sneak behind the manticore to get out of his view, then the black pegasus flew high up into the air just to let himself fall down onto the manticore with a lot of force and bumping off him in the same move to get a little distance again. The manticore's health fell to 50%, but Christoph's stamina bar was down to 10% again. 'Hmph, I just can't seem to get my bar refilled properly...' Christoph complained in his thoughts just as the manticore's tail aimed at him. The black pegasus somehow managed to mostly dodge it again, but the tail still left a scratch on his flank. "Ouch! That hurt, you know that?" Christoph shouted at the manticore. The pegasus' health bar went down to 90%.

"Understood!" Christoph responded while trying to dodge the few attacks incoming on him as well. Due to his low stamina he had a few problems with that though and only escaped the hits closely with a lot of lucky jumps. "Hng... stupid stamina bar..." the black pegasus sweared silently and jumped away from another hit, accidentally landing below the manticore, quickly hitting him in the belly with his right hind leg out of reflex and fleeing from the spot out of the same reflex, taking a little more distance from the beast for a few moments before returning to closer distance. "Boy, that was close. That could have ended completely different..."

"You're right" Christoph agreed "we better take cover first. I saw these kind of creatures in the forest tonight. The Changelings are medium difficulty, pretty tough, but beatable... but the Manticore could be a problem. He's one of the tougher enemies even for groups, I would recommend not messing with him. That was one big mistake I made tonight..."
Christoph would have loved to immediately start killing every Changeling one by one as soon as they would have been seperated from the others, but his low stamina bar (25%) told him to better be careful with his energy for now. He grinned awkwardly: "Heh... you lead. I will help as good as I can. Just tell me when we are ready to attack."

Christoph decided to stay with Lynx' part of the group and explore that house a little bit while he was recovering his stamina, which was back at 20%. The black pegasus then took a look outside to watch Lynx waiting. Christoph went outside and joined him, asking: "Heya there. What are you doing out here?"

"Oh, a mother and her baby died?" Christoph asked Peacekeeper "Wow. That's harsh. Should have known these black vines I saw in the distance weren't a good sign... I hope you didn't have such a close relationship to them. It's always a shame to lose good friends. But you can't really do much about it in here. The weak die. That's how the game goes..." Christoph seemed to calm down a bit and tried to be at least a little bit more considerate, not really succeeding in that goal...

((Hello there, since this is jump-in, I will just jump in and join you in this RP with my OC Christoph. His description is linked in my signature ^^))
"Well I do!" suddenly a black pegasus popped up out of nowhere "I think the danger is what makes all this exciting! Cause, you know, IF you die, you die honorably in battle... in most cases at least, heh... I don't see a big difference to the real life here, except with more monsters to fight, tame and master!" The pegasus with the brown, messy mane seemed to be overexcited to go adventuring like there was no tomorrow. "So I spawned here tonight and went into the darkest forest I could find to make myself a picture of some dangerous monsters. They were pretty strong and I couldn't beat a lot of them, but the one or two I beat gave me some good experience points! It was enough to hit Level 3, but I was pretty worn down on all my stats after I tried to flee from the rest of the monsters. But then I found a raspberry bush and found out that these things heal life points! But I couldn't take any of them with me since I don't have pockets or anything, so right now my life is at, like, 100% due to all the raspberries I have eaten, but my stamina is still around 10%." The pony just continued to ramble on "Oh, Celestia, I didn't even introduce myself yet! My name is Christoph, adventurer pony and advanced flyer! How are you all doing? And does anypony else have that 'super meter'? I have no idea what that thing means, I mean, it doesn't fill or anything..."
