There is a story, but I can't tell you any of it because of spoilers. Sorry. But it is great, and you should check it out. It is possibly the best Derpy/Ditzy fanfic out there.

This is a big one. 59 chapters, and over 400,000 words, and it still isn't finished. But it is worth it. It is set in a canon where only the first part of Season 3 happened. In fact, the author himself hasn't even seen any other episodes, until he finishes the story.
This is a Twilight ascension story, and in my opinion, it does it in a better way than the show does. It creates well-established canon about magic and related magical artifacts, and the story accurately simulates pony politics without boredom. In addition, it has an overall story arc that is complex and mysterious, while having mini arcs that are fun and exciting to read. The lore alone is fascinating enough, and there is even a separate "Rites Encyclopedia" that explains the canon if you missed it in the story, and don't want to go back trying to find what you missed: http://www.fimfiction.net/story/153395/the-rites-encyclopedia
Oh, and Alarm Clock has some pretty great sequels, too.

I hardly ever read fanfics of anything and even if I do I very skeptical towards them, but I am so glad I read this!
I stayed up till 1:00a.m. twice in a row and still couldn't sleep even after dropping my phone so I wouldn't keep reading all night and spent the entire next day thinking about it and trying to sneak away for a few minutes at a time to keep going. I too am often skeptical about fanfics... thank goodness this was my first ever, I don't know if I would feel the same had I read anything different (maybe that's a bit harsh of me, but as I was completely new to fanfics at the time I wasn't sure what to think about the whole thing really.) I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and if you want more the author, the amazing Pen Stroke, has made a few sequels as well

Ah, the catch to playing the game early... 
a good one, for sure! Unfortunately, I lack the much-needed confidence in my abilities to be able to help in this endeavor. That, and I have a lot of friends who are waiting for the full release... so I'll wait patiently for the game to come out for everypony. From the ponies waiting, to the ponies that do get in:
We're counting on you to tackle those bugs and glitches! May you find as many as you can as swiftly as possible, so that the full release will come sooner! Best of luck to all of you!

Congrats to all the winners, and thank you to everypony that participated! A bit saddened to see mine didn't get in... 
oh well, that's alright though!
I'm a bit curious now- will there be any more styles added once these are implemented? 25 is a big number, in addition to the few already available. I would love to see even more styles myself, but I could understand if you stopped there (don't want to go overboard, after all.
) Up to you guys of course, I was just wondering about that.

An LoE mane-and-tail design contest? Time to get drawing! A couple of questions first though...
1. If I submit a hairstyle on this thread, will that one automatically be my entry? Do I have to specify that it isn't (not a problem if I have to, just curious if I need to or not.)
2. This is more of an idea, but also a question too on General Zoi's pony creator (v3 version), there are many mane styles, that are quite unique. There is also the ability to turn the head, for three angles out of the four shown. Is it possible you could use those mane styles in the game? Unfortunately, the tails are only shown from one angle, so... that makes it a bit difficult to work around that. 
Anyway, I can't wait to submit an entry (and hopefully just throw a few around) it's difficult to get the hair looking right from every angle, but I'll do my best!

I see. So with that, I am now wondering what kind of encounter this is between them. Is a first meet, where personalities are discovered and there is shock? Is it an attempt to change the personalities of the evil mane six? Or perhaps both?
Maybe Applejack could say something about how dishonest the whole situation is, and that they need to stop their ridiculous ways of wreaking havoc. Also something about how they're disrupting the peace and tranquility of Ponyville (Equestria?) Or (if it's just a first time meeting) she could say something about how it can't be true and it must be a dream. Sort of like a disbelief kind of thing.

Are the mane six trying to stop them and their wrongdoings, are they hearing negative things and questioning the things they love, are they being framed and are now on the run... I feel like I might need a bit more info, either that or I am completely misunderstanding what you said above... I'm sorry if it should be obvious and I am.

Been a while since I've been here... surprised to see life being breathed back into this thread! It's good though.
I'm working on a fic, a one-shot about Scootaloo and... her brother! I made him up, of course. I really need to finish it, I started earlier this month, and we're almost in August now! (Admittedly I sometimes lose motivation to write, it's just sometimes hard to keep going for whatever reason. One day I'll write without stopping! ) Also, if anyone wants any help with writing or ideas, I'll be happy to offer my assistance hope it's been going well for everypony! Awesome story ideas too, keep up the good (writing) work!

I wouldn't know unfortunately, as both my phone and laptop for some reason have great difficulty loading wikis, thus I try to avoid them often. It's fairly annoying though, since I know a lot of info can be found on the wiki. Perhaps I'll try my phone again this time around, I know there's no way my computer could handle both the game and wiki at the same time.

Hmm, this seems interesting. I'm not quite sure if I have the required skills, though I am pretty good at solving issues between people and coming up with a solution, and even better at organizing and analyzing situations. Perhaps I will submit something, though I am a bit fuzzy on what pertains to this job and is exactly needed. Hopefully I can find the courage as well as the right words, though, if not... well, then I do hope you'll be able to find the ponies you're looking for to fill the position.

Not every pony someone makes is a ponysona, though.
I have a ponysona and two OCs.
One OC is a unicorn named Mystic Mage who never grew out of the magic surge phase of infanthood. She works using her excess magic to charge and recharge enchanted items that need charging.
My other OC is a deaf earth pony named Silent Sky. She's a glass maker. I came up with the pony first, then sat around for weeks trying to figure out what her talent could be. Then, I looked at one of the glass humming birds I bought from Six Flags several years ago, and I thought "That's it!"
Neither of them is supposed to be me in the slightest, so I call them my OCs.
Those are some cool oc's~ I like how they have some interesting talents, but also have a bit of a "flaw" as well, it shows that you can have some really awesome characters without them being perfect. My oc's are a bit like that, too- I have quite a few, so I'll just give a quick explanation of them:
Lyrical Charm: A blue Unicorn mare that absolutely loves music, and aspires strongly to one day be a DJ for a big name radio company. (a bit out of left-field for a place like Equestria, but I still like the idea anyway.
) Occasionally writes, makes music for and sings her own songs.Thunder Spring: A green Pegasus mare that's always on the lookout for adventure- the longer and more risky it is, the better! Can hardly ever sit still, and is always trying to get one of her friends to go with her... but if she can't find anypony to do so, she won't hesitate to go off by herself.
Obsidian Quake: A black Earth Pony stallion, and also a demolition specialist. Although a bit reserved and quiet on the outside, once you get to know him you'll find that he has a heart to match his large build. Currently dating Strawberry Cream. Is also terrified of heights.
Strawberry Cream: A pink Pegasus mare. She loves to bake sweet treats, that she always insists are "made with love, because love is one of the most powerful magics of all!" When she's not baking you can find her practicing her flight skills, or spending time with her coltfriend, Obsidian Quake. Is also afraid of loud noises. (a bit ironic, these two that are dating and their fears XD)
Gear Spark: A brown Unicorn stallion and a genius inventor, Spark loves to build and create all kinds of new gizmos and gadgets. Sometimes he can get so immersed in his work, he'll forget to take a break and get some fresh air, or even eat at times. He has a rare muscle disease that makes him a bit weaker, but with the aid of his inventions he can do most- and in some cases even more- of what other ponies can do.

That aside, my Ponysona is a Pegasus named Featherdust I chose a Pegasus because personally the idea of soaring through the skies is highly appealing to me. Her colors (a pink coat with a yellow and purple mane and tail), are my three favorites, and her eyes are blue like mine. Her cutie mark is a yellow feather, and instead of representing her talent, its more a symbol of her personality: kind, gentle and patient (I don't know if I'm like that, but people have said it I guess? Also I'm not really good at anything so... XDDD) I wanted my ponysona to be simple, nothing too crazy or extreme she's pretty much your average Pegasus, her speed is a bit better than some, but nowhere on an RD level. She got her cutie mark after saving a baby bird once (I actually did happen to do that one time.)

Well, I guess I'll start by suggesting a fanfic- if you haven't read it yet, that is
Past Sins, by Pen Stroke. (warning- this story is slightly dark, with a teen rating. Tags: Dark, Slice of Life, Sad)
This is by far my favorite fanfic of all time. Its just so good! Amazing plot, very well detailed, and the same characters you know and love, as well as some interesting new ones, too. I highly recommend you check it out~ its a bit of a long read, but definitely worth it. I remember staying up late night after night, just to find out what would happen next. And as I read through the comments, I found that so many others had done the same. If you're interested, feel like reading, have the time or all of the above, you should definitely check it out.
