There used to be a little arrow on the right-hand-side of the topics that would take you to the last post in the topic. Did that change with the layout or is it just not there?
On the left, there is a "Go Down." button. It takes you to the newest or last post on that page.
(Newest inside topics, oldest on boards.)
To get to newest/oldest page you can just click the numbers also. 1 or whatever the highest number is.

Let me re-phrase, there was a shortcut that would take you to the newest post within one specific topic, it was a small arrow pointing to the right located on the center-right hand side of the topic's bar.

Either I had no idea that was a thing, or just never used it.
I've always just clicked the topic, the number and then Go Down.

You can click on the "New" icon if it's present, or on the last post date in the "Last post" column to go to the latest post of the topic.
