This is a sign-up RP, which means if you will need to sign up in order to join. However, there will be a limited spaces for the RPers.
I will make a list of RPers and the OCs they play as and include their race by (E)Earth, (U)Unicorn, and (P)Pegasus (Other races can be used except alicorn). reason not alicorn is because it can throw off the setting, situation and behavior of the past ponies for having appendages of more than one race. The limit is 2 OCs per RPer.

Make sure to put this in good us well on plans so we don't end up with conflicting results.

Da Rules:
1) All Forum rules apply
2) Let us assume that you can only see from your perspective. I know we can read each other's posts, but let's not get too coincidental on knowing other's plans or locations. It is similar to "No Screenwatching" in splitscreen games.
3) If you are playing as one of the past ponies, you can be either the ponies who support unity, or those who are against trusting other tribes.

-----------The story starts as bellow------------

Peacekeeper and his brother Peacemaker go to a library to see books they like to see... mostly I spy books. It is a child book, but they like to play around and find things. Then they stumbled upon a Hearts Warming Eve book. They were fascinated by the story and illustrations. They both checked out the book. They read through quite a few chapters while walking in the park. Then there happens to be a strange writing in the book. Peacekeeper tried reading through it since he can pronounce the words well, but he was confused on the meaning. Peacemaker preceeded to read the passage again. After reading it the second time, a light grew bright on Peacemaker's horn. It grew brighter and some other ponies around were in astonishment and awe on the spell that was being made. After a few seconds of shining light, a flash was made, but the Peaces were gone, along with a couple others around who were too close and are caught in them.
               The group wake up, to realize they aren't in the park they recognize. What they see is a small village in a distance, and they were standing on open land with a small trail. They are in total shock and fear as to where they have been. What they have noticed is a flag at a distance that look similar to the book, and realized, they just went back 1300 years in time, the period before Hearts Warming Eve. Knowing that the tribes and pony races do not get along and trust each other well, the group is in peril of being together. It is a chance they can get caught for treason and be punished. So they have to keep a low profile and be careful to not run into different pony races. It is decided to go to the castle of the two sisters and search for a spell to be able to return to the future. It will be very dangerous, and survival is not guarantee.

The adventure begins...

a young yellow unicorn filly with orange mane and tail wakes up and shakes her head
where are am i? i was just on my way to the library when this flash of light happened and now i am here all of the sudden! she exclaimed *the filly looks around and see other ponies as well* ok i take it back where are we? she asked out loud

I think we went back in time to when the pony races were separated.
Yea. If this is the time, we can be in trouble. In this time they don't get along. We must hide and stay low.

*Feeling guilt* I can't believe it. We went back in time. I am sorry we got you into it, too.

"...Look, I told you. The plan's simple; Get in, do the wandering traveler schtick, and observe. Maybe work a bit to reduce suspicion. You know how they can get." "But resorting to such deception for... Them? It's absurd." "Yes, yes, I get it, you don't like the- Oh jeez, shut it! Up ahead!"

The voices that had previously been clear as they drew closer soon grew hushed as two figures wearing heavy cloaks (more to keep warm than anything) approached, walking the trail.
The two figures were earth ponies. Clearly. And yet the faintest amount of magic stuck to them... Something was off; Any unicorn could tell you that.

The larger, brown stallion stared with disbelief. "Hmph, now I've seen everything. Shouldn't you three be bickering about something or other? Like whose hooves are in better shape?" This resulted in a jab from his smaller, lighter brother. "Now, now, Breaker. Let the uppity ponies have their way. We have more important things to do. You know, making sure we don't all starve? C'mon."

As the smaller stallion walked off towards the town, the larger one called Breaker glared at the group for a second before following.
...Though, it seemed more directed towards the Pegasi.

....no ehh umm its quiet alright ehh umm uhh no better way to.. to umm learn spells than to just do them on the spot r.r..right  >.< she started to clam up due to shyness b..be..besides umm its not like this happened on pur..purpose right  X3 ehhh umm well i..im  *clears throat*  uh umm my name is Mystic Bliss what are your names?

A hooded and cloaked pony watched the strange group of Unicorns and Pegasi from a distance, the cloak covering the entirety of his body, leaving only part of his tail and legs uncovered, and the hood draped heavily over his face, hiding most of it from view. The grouping was odd, to say the least, made more so since they weren't bickering about something inane, which made them rather interesting. Seeing the pair of Earth ponies approach the group peaked his curiosity further, and he slowly and stealthily made his way toward the strange menagerie of ponies, keeping low to avoid detection, attempting to listen in on their conversation.

Oh. Eh, my name is Peacekeeper.
I am Peacemaker. We are brothers.

If there was anything that could've stopped the two earth ponies(?), it was what the two brothers had announced. With a sound much like that of screeching rubber tires, the two had stopped in their tracks, whirled around, and stared at the pegasus and unicorn as if they'd grown extra heads.

"Well, now I've heard everything." The smaller pony said in astonishment. The other... "You-! Don't even joke about such things, you naive imbecile!" Yeah, he was less than pleased with the information.
"You can't be related! No Unicorn and Pegasus in their right minds could tolerate each other's presence long enough to even think of children! It's impossible!" The large brown stallion was poked in the side by his brother. "I dunno, seems kind of romantic when you think about it. A mare and a stallion loving each other despite the racial differences... Ah, I could just see it now..." This statement received a disbelieving shake of the head. "You're an idiot, Finn, I'm sorry to say."

would ya mind keepin quiet I'm to sleepsaid the blue pegisai but when he looked around he realized he wasn't the park any more. what happened to the park but a better question is who are you ponies and why is it so cold?

well umm it is ... umm certainly nice to...to meet you all *she blinks and bows her head fearing that she was in some sort of trouble* she looks over to the pony that just woke up hello... umm  what might your name be and as for your umm ... questions ehh umm we are still trying to figure that out  she struggled to say without mumbling

*scratching head, talking to self* ugh, we brought others here too! Why did we ever get that dumb book!?
Yea. We need to go back. I don't wanna get stuck here.

*To the pony who just woke up* Um... well... You and us kinda got teleported to the past like a thousand years.

Elegan trotted around the area, avoiding the top of the hills where she may be caught by other earthponies.  As she was figuring out a way to get away from earth pony territory she glimpsed a group of pegasi and unicorns just talking to eachother.  At first her whole pelt on her neck spiked up, her temperature rising from fear of the races but as she stared a little longer Elegan realized they weren't arguing.  Putting a hoof on her head she scratched it whispering, "I...I don't understand, they must be from the rebellion or something... that is... if there is a rebellion anyways... is there?"
Her snake responded to the question like tone by just staring at her. 
Elegan shook her head, "I can't be seen with them... if any pony sees me.... I'll definitely put up as a wanted pony..." she sighs.  Knowing that she's just avoiding them to avoid trouble though she misses company.
As she looks towards her right she noticed a cloaked pony.  Elegan whispered to her snake as if the snake can respond to her, "Do you think thats one of those authority ponies?..."
"..."(the snake)
"I'll just stay put here, you're right, it's safer to just stay put."
So Elegan searched for shrubs to create shelter

Frozen gets a blank expression on his face trying to comprehend whats going on.

The brown stallion's eyes twitched as he and his brother were ignored. His opened his mouth as if to say something, but as soon as one of the Pegasi said something about time travel, just stopped then and there, his eyes still twitching.
The smaller brother decided now was his chance for a semi-normal conversation. "Uh... Time travel? Sure, whatever you say... Ah, but where's manners these days. I am-" "very much doubting your sanity. Ponies like you belong in a loony bin, where your insane ramblings can't hurt anypony."

A groan was heard. "Brother! Just because they probably think of us as dirty manner-less peasants doesn't mean we are! Show some decency!" The larger brother looked away with a "Hmph! Suit yourself."

The smaller stallion shook his head. "Good grief... As I was saying, you may call me... Argonz. Yes, Argonz. This here's my brother, Stonecrusher. A, uh, pleasure to meet you...?"

Something was off...

*In shock and a whisper* I think someone heard us and is watching us. They gonna try to capture us.
Shoot! We gotta run away and hide somewhere fast.

Elegan successfully organized the shrubs near the top base of the hill near the other ponies but as she was about to nestle onto the kneaded shrubs a few (pebble to hoof sized) rocks that were holding it together rolled down the hill.
about 10 rocks or so tumbled towards the group of ponies, more particularly near the two Stallions.
Elegan shrieked, "oh no!" *she had her hooves to her mouth*
"Nononononono..." The young mare quickly ducked her head down hoping no one noticed

Nocturna wakes up inside of her tent, and hears the noises of some rocks tumbling down a nearby hill.
"If this is another exploration group.." she sighs, readying her makeshift spear, "Better safe than sorry." She heads towards the hill, and hears some conversing, though it seemed to be downhill, instead of uphill. She decides to go to the top, to get a better view.

Elegan spotted some pony walk up the hill, her snake decided to slither to the pony.
"wait!" she hushed while keeping her head down, "not there!"
As the pony came closer she was forced to stay put, knowing there really was no where to hide. As the pony approaches Elegan tries her best to look not suspicious and sits gentleman-like, "Why...... helllo...?"
Her snake on the other hand just wanted to catch a mouse.

"Hello..you must be an Earth Pony, I would assume.." Nocturna starts, a bit hesitantly, keeping her spear at the ready in case of an attack, though conversing like a friend-to-friend. "Were you the cause of the rocks, and the conversing at the bottom of the hill?" She inquires, awaiting response.

wha...what was that sounded like some rocks just fell... she asked in a worried tone
*lays down and covers her head*

The brown earth-pony that was, supposedly, named crusher, twitched. "My brother decides it's a good idea to treat you all with respect, and you go ahead and ignore us? How typical."
The other stallion, the smaller one that was supposedly named Argonz, had his ears twitch. Looking to the ground, he saw a few pebbles and rocks had rolled in their general direction from somewhere.

"I suppose it was a waste of time..." 'Argonz' said regretfully. "You go on ahead, brother, I just want to check on something."
With one last glare towards the two other brothers, 'Crusher' had left towards the nearby town.

'Argonz', meanwhile, looked towards the nearby hill. Thinking "Why not?", he decided to investigate, marching up the hill, keeping his senses alert for whatever was here.

Elegan looks at the pegasus, "u-uuh... I accidentally let some rocks fall but.." *straightens back, "I don't know who those ponies are, sorry..."
She looks towards them wondering if they're looking in the same direction as well.

"Well, at least you look harmless," Nocturna points spear at the snake. "Keep that thing at bay, and perhaps we can work together a bit.." Nocturna states, looking over the hiding place for a moment, meeting the eyes of Argonz. "Get down, Madame...I never asked your name," She says, before preparing to engage the newcomer.

The young stallion's ears twitched. He'd heard somepony; female, said something about a name... Then silence.
Oh, that could not be good.

Taking a deep breath, 'Argonz' lowered himself into what could've been a combat stance as he cautiously moved forward. Whoever it was, he was getting close to them.

"Oh, don't worry, he's harmless... at least towards ponies." Elegan chuckles quietly.
She ducks down when told and her snake slithers by her and curls up her mane as well.  She whispers to Nocturna, "thanks... oh, it's Elegan, short for EleganChime. Elegan is part of the scientific name of a very pretty cactus like plant." she smiles "you...?"
She stares at the direction Nocturna is staring at

Nocturna is silent for a short period, before sighing. "My name is Nocturna, named due to my nature of appearing mostly in the darkness of the night, or sticking to the shadows." She looks noticeably bothered, not only by the pony coming to them. "We'll wait for the pony to come a little closer, then we'll see who he is, and who his crew is, alright?"

 >.<i..i..im extremely sorry ..please dont think....um ill of me its.. its just that uhh..umm i am scared and...um shy....too i am trying my best... to umm speak with everypony .. mister crusher .ss..sir she said trying hard not to cry and be herd as she stands back up
its ....just that.. i am usually alone and...and now i am surrounded by all kinds of ponies...so i appologize if i seem rude to anypony she says to the entire group

Elegan listens silently then after a long pause, "That's a beautiful name, sounds nice and alrighty I don't mind waiting"
She sits down eagerly waiting to see who is approaching, not the least bit afraid as she was a few minutes ago.

Nocturna's face becomes flushed a bit, not used to compliments. "Alright then, Madame Elegan. Let's keep the meeting nice and quick, I say. She says, before going silent, attempting to hide the flush.

"yes, lets~" She responds. Standing back up, Elegan trots towards the stranger's direction.  (Her snake fell asleep) As she's walking she notices a stallion figure. 

((Am I "The Stranger"?))"Perhaps we should simply halt him, he appears to be in a position of trying to fight.." Nocturna reasons, waiting for a response. She knows it's either he halts them, or the other way around.

If his eyes weren't already closed, the stallion's eyes would've narrowed. He knew somepony was nearby, but they'd apparently wizened up and lowered their voice.
Grumbling, he brought a hoof to his forehead.

A horrible chill went down the spines of Nocturna and Elegan. Right afterward, the young stallion IMMEDIATELY turned his head towards their hiding space.
"I know you're there. Care to show yourselves?"

"I was about to see myself if you would bestow upon us conversation, before attempting harm," Nocturna replies, coming out with the spear at the ready, though not in an active attack position. "Care to be a gentlestallion, and enlighten us to your name, and reasoning for approach/conversation beneath the hill proper?" Nocturna inquires, maintaining a stable position.

Elegan stayed near Nocturna's legs, watching the two, slightly nervous.

"Well, aren't you a sight. A pegasus and an earth pony. Unlikely pairs popping up all over the place, it seems..."
The stallion shook his head, and cleared his throat. "Anyway, I've a few names, but for now, you may call me Argonz. I came up here because curiosity is something I can rarely resist. And about the group downhill there? No clue, the buggers are yapping on about time travel and whatnot but otherwise ignored me very rudely."

'Do I spy little fangs or is that imagination's work?' The stallion thought to himself idly.

"Very well then, Argonz," Nocturna sheathes her spear, adopting a more civil stance. "My name is Nocturna, and this is Madame Elegan. It's a pleasure to meet a well-natured gentlestallion within these parts. I came due to noises made by the Madame, and the noises of that group. I heard you say Time Travel? I've heard tales of a stallion of brown donning a cutie mark of an hourglass before, would he perhaps be with them? She asks him, curiously.

"You mean the one with a blue box?" Argonz said, before turning his head to look at the group downhill. "Eh... Similar, if the rumors have truth to them, but I'd say no dice. They look helpless and hopeless with no idea where they even are, very much unlike what's-his-name. But... Time-travel is impossible in all but theory; even us earth ponies know that."

 "Indeed, it shouldn't be plausible, though some travelers have told me of stories with that stallion. It's very weird, I'll say,"  Nocturna responds, noticing he was examining her a bit.  "If you need me to enlighten you on something you're wondering about, feel free to ask.  she tells him.

"Yes, weird... Enough about the doctor, though." Wait, who said he was a doctor? Eh, whatever.
The stallion gave Nocturna a look, himself appearing to have difficulty speaking whatever was currently on his mind.

The fangs he could be imagining... And the odd name that was one letter away from being nocturnal... Did they mean anything?
"...You don't seem like a normal Pegasus. Nothing against them, but you seem nowhere near as rude as I've seen them. Perhaps, in a way other than your manner of speaking, you are not the norm?"

He mentally slapped himself after saying that. 'Hello kettle, I'm the pot. Nice to meet you.' Argonz thought.

"sorry been trying to repair my brain after it blew from the fact that i've time traveled"

*-Woah. This is going by fast... a little too fast for some of us. Would it be okay to limit the length of responses so that some of us can catch up please? Sorry, I forgot to mention that.

Sorry we dragged all of ya into it. We need to know where to finds something to use a spell to go back to our time.
Wait... the castle of the two sisters may have a book that can teleport us to the future.
Don't worry. I will try to protect ya. If they try to hurt you, I will will try fighting them.
We also have to be careful. We don't want to mess up the timeline. So let's not leave anything behind or be known.

*walks over to the peaces* ohh... its ok...being around ponies like this is good for me and my social fears >.< like i said ...umm its not like you meant for this to happen she whispers to them so only they can hear also lets not be too hasty we ....well umm dont want to anger anyone any more than we have already ... the big one scares me >A<  she adds

Yea. Same here. I don't wanna get caught, but I rather have you be saved more.

*tries not to make eye contact with the two earth and looks back*
*with a puzzled look* Something is strange. I am sensing them, and they are actually unicorns in disguise.
Really?
Yea. Somehow they hid their horn so that they look like earth ponies. And this is crazy. These ponies are brothers. I can tell cause their magic is similar to each other, like me and you, Keeper
Oh wow. But only thing is I am a pegasus, and you are a unicorn. We can get in trouble for being related.
Yea. We should go cause who knows what magic he can do. I can sense they know a lot of magic and don't know if I can handle it.

do you really think they are unicorns? she asked quietly

Yea. I can feel their magic.

"You are correct, in a way, that I'm not a normal pegasus-like equine. I've been shunned away from all tribes, due to a situation beyond my control, which I know you should realize. Also, in case you were wondering, my name does mean something. It means I traverse in the shadows, and the night. This time is a bit different though." Nocturna says, looking to the sky. She hasn't talked about any of that in such a long time, because she's had nobody to converse with, except in raiding scenarios. She flinches from the sunlight, looking at the sun, as she's used to the moon shining down instead

*Apologies for the influx of posts, we were just wanting to continue the general storyline, off of the future group.

*-Oh okays. So ya guys have a side-story from the main. Alrights, so ya guys are doing okay.

"...So you're one letter away from being nocturnal. Bad joke aside, this also brings up what your being nocturnal implies. And before you get defensive, I won't pass judgement, and I won't pry any further. While my brother may do so, it's not quite in me to judge others based on what they are."
Argonz absent-mindedly began scratching at the back of his head. "And for what it's worth, you're not the only one here that's in one way or another abnormal."

"I'm surprised, quite honestly, for the lack of judgement, through observation of the other equine species. Also, yes, I tend to stick to the darkness and shadows, due to the nature of who I am." Nocturna replies, looking down the hill once more. "Speaking of your brother, where is he? Did he not accompany you when you came to investigate potential danger?" She asks, a bit confused.

*A side story that leads to the main, indeed. This is the on-the-side storyline that runs alongside the primary, to insure the roleplay stays alive, and to give insight into the past ponies, that the main should eventually encounter.

"I had him go on ahead while I investigated; I thought I could handle whatever could be dangerous. In hindsight... That probably wasn't the best idea; for more than one reason..." Argonz had said, cringing at the thought of what his less than subtle brother could be doing right now. "But, assuming he sticks to what we planned out, he should be fine, only staying at the edge of town 'til I get back to him."

"What are you two planning to do? Does it involve the wanderers of the hillbottom?" Nocturna inquires, intrigued.

"No, those ponies down there had nothing to do with it." Argonz answered. "Our plan was more to do with the village. Get in, see what's going on, get out, report anything unusual. In other words, spying."

"Sounds like my kind of party, is it possible me, and perhaps the Madame, could accompany you in this mission?" Nocturna asks.

"I can think of several reasons why not." Argonz said regretfully. "...But most of them center around racial differences. And really, I could care less about those. In short; You both can come along if you want."

"I can live with that. Madame Elegan, come along if you wish, at your own time." Nocturna states, readying her weapons in the event of trouble later. "Let's go, I say. Lead the way, Sir Argonz!"

*to the peaces* then we should not blow their cover...it could upset something besides ....it looks like they are leaving us alone for the time being....and umm if you dont mind we should...umm uh we should get going ourselves to find a way to deal with our own problem  she whispers to the entire group but not loud enough for anyone else hear

Alrights. Let's find a place we can all stay so we can plan something out. Too bad we cant stay over houses. Guess the best option is in the woods or in caves and seal it with rocks.

*Encountering my camp would be an interesting thing to do with you lot going into the forest/woods

I see a campsite there. Looks like it has been there for a good while and abandond.
What is someone still lives there?
I doubt it. Doesnt seem anyone is there anymore. We can use it.

..umm alright i g...guess we can use the campsite ...  >.< but if someone does live there... i hope they are nice..

Elegan nodded her head, "yes, thank you. I'd like to tag along."
She stayed close to Nocturna still wary of the stallions though this was no evident due to her cheery demeanor.
She looked toward Argonz trying to articulate where exactly they are going, for she daydreamed a bit during the past conversation.

The young stallion nodded, and allowed himself to smile at being called "Sir". Turning, he motioned for his two new companions to follow.
"When we get into town, you're going to have to put on an act." Argonz had said as he started walking in the general direction of the village in the distance. "I'm sure you know relations are a bit strained; you'll have to act accordingly while in public. Miss, um... Elegan, was it? Yes, that was the name... Elegan shouldn't have too much trouble, being an earth pony and as young as she is; any friendliness on her part towards you could be passed off as naivety."

He sighed. "Given time, I could find a way to hide your wings, but brother's not going to wait forever. I'd give you my cloak, but it's the only thing keeping me from looking suspicious as well." He then took on a thoughtful expression. "But maybe... Hm... Perhaps... Yes, that should work.... You could act is if you're my escort, paid to keep us safe. Armed as you are, there should be little question about it; and it would be a suitable explanation for your lack of hostility towards the non-pegasi of our little group. You will still draw attention, but at least you'll have a "reason" to be around me."

"Very well, I shall donn the title of escort until the time of the village is done. If we come upon a pony that recognizes me, allow me to handle them." Nocturna says to Argonz. She takes out her spear and holds it along the walk to the brother, and in essence, the village. "Anything specific being searched for?"

"Anything out of the ordinary will do, it's a quick investigation, and if we pry too deeply the earth ponies will get suspicious and clam up." The stallion had begun explaining. "It'll take until sundown at the absolute most, depending on what we find and maybe investigate. I'll handle talking to the villagers."

Time certainly flew, it seemed. A few more minutes and they'd properly arrive in town. "One last thing. I know it's probably incredibly obvious, but don't get into a fight if you can at all help it. If anypony sees an excuse to arrest you, they'll most likely take it, and there's only so much I'll be able to do if that happens."

"well thats gonna be a problem for me." said frozen with a concerned look,  "I stick out like a sore hoof with my wings."

Yea... *looks at his own cape* I might be suspicious by having this cape on me and think I am hiding my wings.

ya see, i can't remove my wings like you can with your cape without being in sever pain

But I can't remove my wings. I hide them under my cape. I wish I can make them invisible like those unicorns that were spotting us were hiding their horn.

The hooded pony kept his distance from the group as they talked, overhearing that some of the ponies claimed to be from the future. and that a Unicorn and Pegasus were related. Both rather incredulous claims, to be sure. Soon after though, the Earth ponies went their own way, and the remaining ponies went into the woods. Making a decision, the hooded pony continued to follow the group claiming to be from the future, figuring them to be the more interesting of the two groups, sticking to the shadows and attempting to make as little noise as possible as the other ponies walked and eventually came across what appeared to be an abandoned campsite.

"Trust me when I say that'll be no problem. I know how to handle many ponies. I'll remain silent until one recognizes me though." Nocturna replies, trotting along after Argonz. She looks bothered by something, but she doesn't know why exactly that is.

Off in the distance a large bang was heard as a earth pony landed in some trees with a crunch ."Godness that hurt,now where am I"

*Welcome Maplewood! I assume you know where we are, and I assume that happened in the same forest the future ponies are at, and that they'll hear it. Also, I assume you know of the OOC. I hope you enjoy the roleplay!

*hears the boom* That sounded close
Everyone keep low.

Maple got up whacking of the dust and dirt ." how does that even happen "

"Did anypony else hear some sort of distant thunder noise? I might've imagined it." Nocturna brings up, only hardly hearing something.

"thunder? If it's true... then I wonder what the pegasi are doing to the other cities right now...." She stares towards each pony nervously.

"It didn't seem like normal thunder..oh well, we'll know soon enough if it was anything." Nocturna replies, shrugging. "How far until we reach the village, Sir Argonz?"

Maple started to make his way though the bush unroll he tripped and tumbled onto a path way with a crunch

*whispering* I can hear something crunching.

*whispering* oh ok....i...i will do my best staying down *lays down*

The stallion slowed his pace, turning his head to better hear any further thunder should there have been any. "I heard it too. Sounded like it came from that forest over yonder. Besides, the pegasi made a deal, and very few of them will risk their supply of food and sunshine by attacking anypony."

Argonz shook his head. "Nopony of any race would be stupid enough to break the agreement their leaders have made."
He then turned his attention back to the village they were drawing close to. "It's right there; Maybe a minute, tops. Speaking of which..."

"I hope for your sake you have a good explanation for this, Finn." A voice said nearby, coming from... Right behind them? Turning, Argonz gave the pony in question a slightly strained smile. "It's Argonz, brother." He said, putting emphasis on his name.

The pony he was talking to was a large blonde-maned stallion with a brown-ish coat, wearing another heavy cloak like Argonz was. And he stared for a second, before clearing his throat.
"Yes, yes, I know that. But you're changing the subject. What are you doing with them?" The brother asked. Unlike Argonz, it seemed that he had something against the two. "They wanted to tag along." "And you just couldn't resist, could you? What, the Pegasus bat her eyelashes at you and-"

"She's our escort." Argonz interrupted as a pair of earth ponies passed by them, staring as the walked past before deciding to mind their own business. "You remember? The one we paid to fend off all the beasties that are on the road these days?"
He sighed. "Nocturna, Elegan, meet my brother, who for the time being you will refer as Stone-Crusher, or Crusher."

"A pleasure to meet you, Sir Crusher, even if such isn't shared by you. We met your brother as he came to ensure safety of you both, to which he found us, under a united goal coming to the whole of the land." Nocturna tells him, then adds in a quiet whisper, her fangs noticable: "I'm no ordinary pegasus. The tribes all hate me, including my original, as you may see why. Believe me when I say I don't play games, especially not of flaunting manners, as you so rudely assumed."

As maple got up the glow from his cybernetic eye bathed the  landscape in red "man that really hurt " he sighed getting up

Crusher gave the pegasus an odd look. "Manners? Color me surprised, I thought all pegasi had a complete lack of them." His tone was less rude, sort of. It was hard to tell whether he was acting or not at this point. "Whatever. Just keep your mouth shut and stay close to either me or my brother. You'll get the other half of your payment once we leave town. And for the love of the sun, don't start anything here!"
He turned to his brother. "You're still in trouble over this, hiring a bodyguard without even bothering to tell me." He'd said, before turning and walking into the village.

A sigh was heard from Argonz as he began to walk after him. "Don't let it get under your skin, he's like that with almost everyone. He's a genuinely good pony under all the sarcasm and rudeness. A knight in sour armor is what he is."

"I've seen many like him, believe me there. In any case, let's continue after him." Nocturna replies, walking with Argonz. She's still thinking about the thunder, given its direction, and it's noticeable on her face.

Maple started to head down the path sometimes sweeping his light around the area

*Wanted to make a quick note, if it's not already implied, once I respond, I'm waiting for another person in the related story to respond with the next event/dialogue/action/etc. An example would be when I've stated I looked bothered by something, I was waiting for a response to that, but then I decided just to forward it, as it seemed like nobody was responding to the other one. Apologies for the long in-line OOC here, but it was more appropriate here, in my opinion.

*-It may happen sometimes, or perhaps others are busy to respond. In any case, I understand the feel.

It's starting to get cold.
I wanna make a fire, but if someone see us, we are screwed.
I guess the best to do is to use that tent to block the light. We have a wall of dirt behind us, so I think we can be kinda safe.
We can try that. Just not sure if it will completely block the light.

The Peaces take the tent off and wrap it around the trees close to them. They gather wood and Peacemaker makes a fire.
Peacekeeper goes over the wall to check the tent and comes back.

It works. It completely blocks the light.
Cool. Guess tomorrow we start moving.

so...you think that..... we are safe for the time being? she asked she started to get up

... yea. I believe we are safe.

"Right. Nonetheless, I apologize for his behavior." Argonz had said quietly, glancing at a few ponies in the village, making sure he wasn't heard.
"Anyway... First thing's first. I have an informant in town. If we're lucky, she might have something good and we can get out immediately. she normally hangs around the building they pass off as a tavern when we're around, so that's our first destination. Keep your hooves crossed, I don't wanna stick around in this village any longer than I have to."

"What's the name of this pony, if I may ask? Also, I feel the same way about the amount of time present here." Nocturna replies, looking around for any ponies that might cause issues for her and the group.

Not seeing the tent that was strung up make broke though it causeing him to almost tumble face first into the fire

The Peaces jump back in fear. Peacekeeper pulls Mystic up over the dirt mound behind the tree. Peacemaker runs behind a tree to which one end of the tend was tied up. Peacemaker activates his sharingan and readies up a spell in case the pony shows threat.

"Cookie is what I remember; she doesn't want her full name disclosed, just in case the information gets beaten out of us somehow. She's pretty close to the chancellor, though, so odds are pretty good we won't be long."
Before they knew it, the group had found themselves standing in front of a fairly large, two story tall building, where Crusher had been waiting by the entrance.

"Have the pegasus wait by the door when we enter. The locals are on edge for some reason, more-so than usual. The filly can do what she will as long as she doesn't interfere" The stallion had said.
Argonz nodded. "Right."  As Crusher walked in, Argonz held back. "You heard him. Wait by the door, but not out on this side." He said, before following.

"man my head hurts so much  what happened"

"Oh lovely, Tavern Door Duty, my favorite!" Nocturna states as the group goes inside. She decides to look around the town, and eyes two ponies, a mare and stallion whom she recognizes, coming towards her.

"Well, well, if it isn't Little Miss Outcast? What are you doing outside your forest in the wide wide world? Don't you know how dangerous it is for a little filly?" The stallion says, laughing.

"I don't know who you're talking about, my name is Ravenn, I don't recall ever being ran out of a town." Nocturna replies, lying through her teeth.

"I don't think it's wise to lie to your arrest officers." The mare states back, showing her badge.

"Oh! You have a badge now! Good for you! That still doesn't mean you can do anything to me though." Nocturna replies back, smoothly.

"You want to bet? You know that group of yours? Let's just say that if you don't allow us to arrest you and hold you here, they're in for a, rather painful, surprise, with their "Informant" they think they know." The mare says back, smiling. Nocturna falters slightly at that, before flashing her fangs.

"I don't think you would dare try to harm them, Yuki and Trade." She says angrily to them, spear in hoof.

"Look at the defensive filly, looking for a fight. We're the only ponies that can call off her orders, and we have security in their to stop you from getting to your group. Give yourself up now, or you risk losing them." Trade states calmly. Nocturna doesn't even ponder it before both the mare and stallion are pushed against the wall.

"I have no intention of killing you two, as I'm better than you, but I will stop you from doing anything to any of us." Nocturna says in a final reply, breaking their legs with the spear to where they cannot move. She then rushes into the Tavern.

"Arg-" She tries to say, before a hoof is over her mouth by the single posted agent. Nocturna laughs into the hoof at how ridiculous the two officers were, posting the agent with no knowledge. She bites his hoof with her fangs, drawing blood, but more or less just hurting him. The agent cries out in pain, gaining the attention of the group.

"Argonz! Crusher! Elegan! Get away from that 'informant', she's not who you think she is!" Nocturna yells at them.

*If you don't want it to go like this, feel free to tell me so, and I'll remove and rewrite. I hope this post made sense, I'm quickly typing them before heading to dinner. Anything seeming out of place, substitute with how you think the conversing would've gone, and roll from there(I think I butchered my own personality in this post). I'm unaware, also, at the rating for roleplays, but I would assume a simple drawing of blood or breaking a leg doesn't break the rules.

Peacemaker first looks at him, and sees no threat. He deactivates his sharingan, and uses his magic to lossen the tent off of Maple. He returns the cover to it's proper place.

Peacekeeper comes out of the tree on the mound.

are...are you ok mister...that..umm looked rough she asked

As maple got up the glass covering his cybernetic eye was cracked and shattered" yeah I guess " he said not noticing his eye was broken.

Guess you were teleported like us to the past. Eh... your lens looks broken.

Maple quickly placed his hoof on his eye" oh no this can't be happening"  he quickly started to look around for the pieces of the lens

"Your fillyfriend's not following." Crusher noted upon entrance, raising a brow. "I told her she could come in. In fact, I said don't wait outside. And she's not my fillyfriend!" Argonz replied, earning a small chuckle from his brother. "Sure she isn't. C'mon, you can tell me; How long have you known her?" [Color=orange]"I only met her maybe half an hour ago! And I have no-"[/color] "And I suppose that whole romantic love between two ponies thing was just a coincidence?" "Yes. Yes it is, Crusher, now can you shut up a moment, I'm trying to see where friend's at."
As the smaller stallion scanned through the tavern, of which some of it's patrons were sending curious glances towards them, he noted a rather cold feeling throughout that sent shivers down his spine. A feeling the something was wrong... And where was she...?

"She's not here; There's one mare dressed similarly, but clearly an imposter..." "You think she-" "No. We should probably..."
It was at this moment that the scuffle outside had made enough noise for the two to notice, especially once their "bodyguard" had shouted for their attention.

"Time to go." Argonz said simply, making a dash for the door. Before he even made it to Nocturna, a pony entered his path, causing him to bounce off said pony and fall to his rump. The large stallion he'd been blocked by gave an unpleasant smile as he stared down at Argonz. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!" Argonz heard his brother shout, before Crusher charged directly into the blocker, knocking him down.
Before he knew it, Crusher had brought his brother roughly back onto his hooves. Recovering, Argonz resumed his quick dash before anyone else tried to stop them again. A faint glow was visible near the two stallions' foreheads as Argonz took Elegan into his grasp while Crusher grabbed Nocturna.

A bright white flash was the last thing anypony in the vicinity saw. By the time the pursuers recovered from their temporary blindness, the entire group was gone.

*Elsewhere...*

The next thing the group knew, they were standing, albeit perhaps unsteadily, just outside the village entrance, the two brothers having apparently teleported them directly out of the conflict. "Shake it off, we can't stay here any longer!" Crusher's voice was heard saying as Argonz kept trying to nudge Nocturna and Elegan along.

"Last time I got teleported was with that one exploration group.." Nocturna says, shaking her body to ward off dizziness. "Let's head back towards the forest, I can direct us back to my camp. Not many know of its location, and those who do know not to go to it. I'll explain later what was going on. " She adds, keeping Elegan steady and helping her move along. We all trot in the direction of the forest, as the sun progresses into the later day.

The Peaces search for the ground for pieces as well)

*Picking some up with his mouth and placing them on his hoof* Are these some of it?
*Doing same thing* I found some.

"doesnt matter now I can't find  a way to put it back togather "

Huh? There is a book?

Nocturna starts shaking violently, something coming over her. She tries to shake it off, but can't calm herself down. She doesn't say anything, hoping nopony notices. She remains dead silent as well.

Peacemaker pics up the book and reads it.
Hmm... it reads Nocturna. Not sure what it means.

*flying back to the campsite* Hey Maker. I actually found a cave behind a big rock. It looks pretty empty. We can hide there.

Really? Cool. We can take this stuff and put it in cave. I don't feel much comfortable being out here. You never know if somepony finds us here and wonder why each race is grouped together.

"thanks" he grabbes it and wraps it around his eye and hooks it over his ear to hold it in place."how do I look "

Looks good. It covers the eye well.

Yea. Well... let's take this stuff and take it to the cave. We gonna hide in there.

The Peaces takes whatever remains of the old-looking campsite and ties em together to prepare to move to the small cave.

"alright so where are we anyway?" he asked looking around

We are back in time where the pony tribes of each race are separated. We are sometime before Hearth Warming Eve.

So... if we went back 1300 years, and Luna's banishment was 1000 years before our time, We are 300 years before Luna's banishment.

As the two brothers marched on in silence, keeping a watchful eye, Nocturna's hopes that neither noticed her shaking were soon dashed away. "Hey. Something wrong?" Argonz asked with genuine concern.

*While taking the stuff* I believe we are safe in that cave. Besides, we can hide it with the rock. No one can look in there.

Peacemaker uses his magic to try to move the bolder with magic.
This thing is friggin heavy.

"great so should I be with you two" he asked looking very concerned

Peacekeeper helps out his brother push the rock

Pretty much. You are safer with us than out there. You meet some other pony out there, things can go bad since they don't trust ponies of other races. We are the only future ponies. Me, my brother, and Mystic.

"ah ok well I need to rest I took a lot of hits when I landed"

Okays. So now we can put the things in. You can sleep with us in the cave. We be safe in there. I can use a technique to sense other ponies magic to check if it is clear.

Peacemaker returns and puts out the fire.
The Peaces pic up the stuff and carry it into the cave.

Maple carefully laid down in the cave giveing a grunt as he laid on a wound ."yes this is going to be a very long night"

Peacemaker uses his magic to seal the rock while his brother tries to roll it along.

Peacemaker makes a fire spell and makes a small campfire. Peacekeeper puts up a cover from the inside with the tent tarp to hide the light.

This is much better. We are more safe here. We should be good for the night.

"I think I cut myself man that hurts" his head nodded off as he fell asleep

*unfolds one of his wings and wraps it around Mystic*

The hooded pony kept his silent watch of the strange group of ponies as a bizarre joined up with them at the campsite. It seemed he was another pony from the future, and just looking at him made it hard to discount the idea. The group soon left the camp and moved it into a nearby cave. The pony followed them, taking up a position near the mouth of the cave, curiosity bringing him in ever closer as he listened in on them, trying to figure out the outlandishly baffling concept of members of different races actually getting along well, even despite their situation, if their claim of time travel turned out to be true.

Elegan was shook, even though a few moments past by just watching the two ponies harass Nocturna made her skin boil a bit.
On their way to the forest Elegan tried to focus on keeping up the pace with everypony else.  As she was walking however she noticed Nocturna's change in pace.  After hearing Argonz voice his concern she merely looked back at Nocturna smiling hoping that that her concerned smile would cheer her up as she was walking. Elegan refused to talk for the moment that they were walking in hope that she wouldn't trigger anyone from harming them if there were anyone harming them.
Elegan gestured to her snake to move ahead of us to which she turned to face the group, "um... he's just going to check the surrounding area if there's anypony that might just hurt us...." she squints her eyes, "I hope that's alright." She pauses, "Nocturna, how far until we reach our destination?" she brings her attention to the unicorns, " maybe if she can describe the forest,and maybe with your magic, if you can, you can somehow look at who's around us? Like a mini map?"

*Apologies, fell asleep. Also, we're on our way to the forest still, to my knowledge.

"I'm...fine. I have a feeling there's something wrong happening though, hence my shaking. Alongside that, those two were one of my biggest problems back in the day, almost killing me by taking all my supplies." Nocturna replies, sighing. She sees the forest up ahead, meaning her camp isn't too far off. "Be sure to follow me and stay close, the pathway isn't too confusing, but one wrong turn and you're lost." She explains.

"Whaaat?" Argonz asked. "What magic? We're clearly... Oh, sod it." Another glow in the forehead, and oddly enough a glowing in their cloaks, and the two brothers had horns shimmering into existence onto their foreheads.
"And for the record, while I can detect ponies by actively seeking out the magic in their bodies, I can't just map out an area by description alone."

After this, the two brothers listened to Nocturna in mostly silence until she finished.
"I am going to assume they took your supplies without your knowledge. You do not strike me as the sort to take that lightly."

"Most groups like that are too scared to come while I'm there, as they, mostly, know who I am, and why I was ran out of all villages as an outcast. Those that dared to face me usually lost a member of their party, though those two managed to get me while I was there, trapping me as they got away. Nowadays, I've prepared for that, but that didn't matter at the time" Nocturna says back.

Maple woke with a start and looked around. With a wild eye scanning the area ."great where still here I was hoping for it to be a dream but I guess not"

*Overhearing Maple and says to himself silently* I wish it was.

Alright. Ima go to sleep. Ya guys should sleep, too. *walking to a pile of sheets and hay and lays there*

Yea. Hopefully tomorrow we can find our way home and not get caught. *walks into another pile of sheets and hay*

Crusher gave as close to a shrug as he could while walking."I'm torn between saying you're a savage or you did what needed to be done."
"I thought you didn't approve of excessive violence?" Argonz asked. "I approve of her taking matters into her own hooves to at least get payback for being wronged." "Oh. That makes sense..."

For another few minutes, the brothers walked on in silence.

"Oh, I almost forgot..." Argonz had eventually said. "Since we've no need for disguises anymore, we also have no need for false names. Yes, the names I gave you were false. Since we're going to be traveling together for who knows how long, you should at least know the names we go by. I am most commonly known as Grand Illusion."

Ar- I mean, Illusion, turned to his brother, lightly jabbing him in the side. A sigh was heard. "Spell-Breaker." The larger stallion, Breaker, eventually said.

*As the future is out of the camp area, we shall proceed!

"A pleasure to meet you two properly then." Nocturna replies with a small, genuine smile. As they approach the camp, Nocturna goes ahead a bit, and stiffens, stopping, as she reaches the camp. The whole camp was strewn every which way, the tent laying, dismantled, as though it was a covering for something and fell off, and her supplies taken, apart from little bits and pieces. "Not again..." She says quietly.

"Oh... Oh dear. When did this happen? Nopony could have followed us let alone rushed ahead to get here... Either way, I'm-" "Don't apologize when you can do something to fix the problem."
Illusion stared at his brother in disbelief. "You're honestly suggesting to help her without my convincing?" "This affects us, too. I'd rather not sleep in a camp that's been ransacked."

That deflated the smaller brother's hopes real quick. "Oh... I see..." He then turned back to Nocturna. "It appears whoever was here got careless; there's a fair amount of hoof-prints around the site. I'm not really a tracker, but maybe we can hunt down whoever did this. It'd be the least we could do after your warning us of danger back in town."

Elegan smiled warmly, "those names sound better than the last, I'm glad to know we are all honest with eachother! If you are curious, my full name is EleganChime. My snake's name would be Alfredo... Like the saussse"
As they approached the scene, Elegan gave a big sigh, upset about the possibility that some pony did this.
She looks back at the three ponies talking and Alfredo slithered back.
She pokes Illusion, "um, i think he found where the tracks lead to"

Maple could take it any long with some great effort he sat up a bandaged the wound."yo peace you getting a bad feeling about this place?"  he asked feeling a shiver  go down his spine .

Actually. I feel more comfortable here than outside. I mean, nopony can find us here. The exit is sealed, and this cave is only this room and the entry way and we are the only ones here. I just hope nopony is outside in front of the entrance when we wake up.

" I guess so " he quickly lay back down . "so how DoD you guys get here because I kinda fell ?"

She wipes up any threatening tears, holding on to the hope that her journal still remains. "Just so you know, I'm not deaf. If you only want to help to have a proper place to sleep, say it to my face. If you don't care to help me, feel free to leave me alone, as I've always been. Madame Elegan, Sir Illusion, can you please help me find a....book of mine? It has my name printed on the front of it, and is fairly important." Nocturna says, looking around and starting to repair her home. She hears about the tracks, and her ears perk up a bit. "Proper tracks? I've never seen raiders that leave tracks behind, especially not the ones constantly after me. We'll follow them as soon as I locate that journ-book of mine." She states.

We didn't fell. We just woke up. Me and my brother got a book that tells the history of Hearth Warming Eve, and we read a passage, and my brother somehow unlocked a magic spell that teleported us and Mystic. I guess it kinda got you, too, but weird that you popped from the sky.

"yeah it kinda hurt, God what is poking me in the back" maple rolls over to find a book sticking out of a box."oh what's this*opens it* looks like a journal written by a mare by the looks of it "

Elegan nods her head, "okay" She starts picking up items and lifting things up, coming across many books but all which do not contain Nocturna's name.
She starts looking towards the ground and digs a few things up, "that's odd."
Elegan kept searching with great effort.
She tumbled upon a fallen branch and was able to get herself back on her hooves again when she noticed a book with the letter "N" on it.  Ears perked she calls to Nocturna, "I found something~"
she pauses and picks the book up, "oh wait.... nevermind...."
The book's title was faded, revealing the words, "Never Ending" on it.

Hmm... really? I think 'Maker found it. Not sure what it is. Probably a journal or some other kind. Does it say Nocturna?

Illusion shook his head sadly before turning to his brother. "Just do us all a favor and keep your mouth shut, Breaker. I know you don't like the other races, but I didn't defend your honor just so you could act like an irredeemable jerk."

And with that, the stallion had joined the search. Naturally, when Elegan seemed to have found something, he was right on it.
And he too was disappointed by the actual result. "You know, I'm thinking it's likely that our thieves may have taken it, either from callousness or cluelessness."

"yeah I does why"

Hmm... just wondering. It kinda looks like a journal. Maybe it can tell us more on where we are and how to survive. We also got a couple of books, so I hope it can help us learn the different tribes, and maybe a map.

"Perhaps it's time to tell you all a story, so that you may choose properly whether to continue helping me or not." Nocturna states to the group.

With a flash of her fangs, she begins. "A while back, I escaped my parents, as they were going into states of insanity, the reason why I still don't know. I fled to this forest, encountering a castle a bit of a ways. There I found some documents, detailing a spell of time travel, and took them for research and possible completion. Another group encountered me on my ways out, leading to a chase that left me and the book in the middle of nowhere. I came across a pony who led me to a clearing of the forest, but had more in store, biting me. I went to get some general supplies from the town, and fangs started growing in, as it was quick, alongside that group told of robbery, leading me to be chased out. I ended up building the camp, and the rest you know. That book, or should I say journal, has the time travel spell within it, and exact documentation on the execution of it, alongside other personal entries from my time. In the wrong hooves, it can be bad. That was one thing I tried to protect the best I could, and how I knew about the validity of The Doctor, though the technology is beyond the capabilities of the spell proper. If you want to keep helping, great, if not, I'll go alone, like I usually have done. So yes, Sir Breaker, you had valid reason to be suspicious of me, even though I only wanted to help and be part of a group that didn't want me dead and gone." She explains, closing her eyes for a time after, waiting on a reply.

*Woah, that was a mouthful to type on Mobile. Here's hoping everything made sense!

whats that...you guys have there is....it a book?

oh and i forgot to mention....im not very good with magic yet ...... thats why....thats why i was going to the library and i like reading books i want to learn magic....

"I... I see." Illusion had said. "Still, it doesn't change much. We, or at least I, am going to help you find that book. You don't have to- Brother what are you doing?"
The sound of slow hoofsteps could be heard before they stopped right next to Nocturna as he seemingly tried to burn a hole into her with his gaze alone.

"I... Might have misjudged." Breaker had said, causing some surprise to be visible on his brother's face. "It may not mean much at this point, but... I apologize. My behavior was... Uncalled for."
It certainly sounded genuine, albeit with Breaker having apparent difficulty spitting the words out.

The stallion cleared his throat. "You will have my assistance, if you'll accept it."

Hmm I see... but I think the book is just things that is going on here in Equestria.

Honestly, I actually want to learn magic myself. I wanna be the first pegasus to do magic unassissted, meaning no help from a unicorn or any other magic stuff, just myself.

Once we get back to the future, maybe we can help you find a book that helps you learn. Maybe help me understand how it works as well. We can try learning together.

"I don't know peace this book is filled with magic looking runs and stuff" maple turned the book around to show him

Wait... magic? *gets up to look at it*

Hmm... it does look like some kind of magic spell or something. It says time travel as well... but I think it is a safe bet to not say the spell. We don't know if it does take us back to our time, or worst. Not sure who to show it to if they know what it does and how it can help take us back. Best chance is my brother since he can visit the unicorns.

we.... should be careful....dont want to be taken advantage of....or landing the book into the....... wrong hands.

Yea. If it does have a time spell and it works, who know what will happen. I mean we are already in danger of messing up our time by being here if we did something bad.

"That sounds awfully terrible... but, we already know you're a very caring pony, so I don't care about your past as much as others would Nocturna." She smiles, "I'm just glad you found me, I'd probably be dead by now....honestly..." she puts a hoof over her head to scratch it, she yawned, "Ditto about what Breaker said.... I'll be here to help~" *rubs her eyes* On her shoulder you see Alfredo staring at everypony.
"If there were ponies that came here to ruin your camp... maybe we should try finding a secure place to sleep rather than sleeping in this same location...." Elegan's eyes dart down as she mumbled, "I- I don't want any other pony to catch us somehow and we'd be in trouble, or worse, hurt."

"Thank you all, it means a lot to me, despite what you may think. I accept the help, Sir Breaker, it's a pleasure to have a more linked group now. In regards to that fact, I think we need to travel towards the direction of the raiders, instead of waiting for them to travel more beforehand. Even a little bit of progress is better than none, I say." Nocturna states, smiling.

The large stallion nodded. "You're welcome, ma'am. And in regards to your plan of action, I agree completely. Best we gather what we can and move on than stay in a location we know to be compromised. And should there be hostility, you need not worry with us on your side."
Illusion jumped a little at this. "Hey, who said anything about getting in a fight?! I'd rather there not be meaningless violence!"

This protest went ignored as Breaker turned to Elegan. "You, Earth pony!" "Elegan. No excuse, brother." His brother interrupted. "Elegan. Apologies. You said a while ago your snake-" "Alfredo." "-Alfredo, had found tracks, yes?"

"oh ok I guess I should just put away then" maple skids the book back into a box the leans against the wall

Hopefully the books can tell us about equestria, or just this place right now.

Well... guess we should sleep now. Hopefully we can get find a way out of here soon.

*Gets to his pile and lays down,  checking the fire and behind the tarp to see it blocks the light to the boulder-sealed entrance. Then falls asleep.*

Elegan nodded looking at her snake, "yeah...he did. He'll lead the way"

(Im going to an event today won't be back until 11pm EST)

Alfredo hovered his head back and forth as if he was trying to get more input on the area from where he found the tracks.
He looks behind to the other ponies and started to slither off.
Elegan: "we should follow him~ come"
She trotted to follow her companion, checking back frequently for her comrads.

"Keep your defenses sharp, they may be smarter and planned a lot more than we think." Nocturna tells the group, reading a dagger she held onto, since her spear was left out of the teleportation. "Here's the plan: We encounter the group, Breaker and Illusion will stay at the entrance of where they're hiding, or if it's on the path, guarding the escape routes. Me and Elegan will converse with the ponies, me primary to convince them to be reasonable, and give back what they stole. If I can't, Elegan will give her two cents, and if that doesn't work, then we fight." She explains.

"Oh, wait!" Illusion suddenly said. "If that doesn't work, could I work some of my magic before you go brawling? I mean, my name's Grand Illusion; What do you think my talent is? I could conjure something up to scare the probably nonexistent pants off of them if they don't cooperate! Heck, we could probably sneak in instead if that's what you'd prefer; a quick spell and you'll be practically invisible!"

There was a few seconds of silence. "But your way's fine, too, I guess..."

"I have a feeling a simple invisibility spell wouldn't work too well. Diplomacy and possible Hostility is the best course. However, if you could create an illusion making it seem like they're trapped except for the guarded ways, that'd be beneficial." Nocturna responds, thinking to herself about the course of the meeting.

"Oh... That makes sense. 'S'kinda pointless if they have unicorns with them... Never got around to making the spell undetectable... Anyway, will do what I can, no way they'll think they can escape! Illusion made a gesture that could've passed for a crude military salute. "And before you even ask of the possibility, not even teleporting will let them get away scot-free!"

After this, Breaker was heard clearing his throat in order to get attention. "I realize a plan of action is a necessity, but if we're going to confront these raiders, we should probably quicken our pace. You're going a bit too slow for my liking." He'd said.

*Just as a note, I have limited WiFi this weekend as I'm camping, replies may be few or non-existent. Feel free to expand upon different things with eachother and get closer, but give me time to respond when the two groups find eachother.

"I agree, a slow trotting is never a good thing to do in these woods anyway, much less when we're trying to locate raiders." Nocturna responds, looking around to remember where we are.

Maple began to hum a tone as he began to clean up a area for him to sleep without anything poking him . Half way though the construction he realized he needed fernes for padding so with a simple push he quietly pushed the boulder open enough for a small gap that he could squeeze between.

"This doesn't look like the kind of forest one can easily navigate..." Illusion observed as Nocturna looked around. "From the looks of it, it's kinda growing on it's own... Forever free, I'd say. Hm... Ever free... Everfree... Has a nice ring to it..."
The stallion spent a few seconds in semi-deep thought. "This forest is all twisty and turny... If you want, I could try to reach out with my magic to find who we're looking for. You know, the same method I used to find you back at the hill? Might save time and/or keep us from getting horribly lost."

"I forgot about that, that would probably be very helpful to us, go ahead and do so" Nocturna replies.

After 5 minutes of trying to find ferns maple deicides to just sit down and relax

Elegan waited patiently with Nocturna

"Alright, then. Just a few seconds..." Illusion had said, his horn beginning to glow a bright green. After a second or two of concentration, the unicorn let his magic go, apparently sending off a wave of it in all directions.

He was completely unaware of the chill going down the spines of those he'd detected...

"Hm... That's odd... I'm sensing what I think is an earth pony, but his signal's all sorts of wonky. Could be nothing, though... The rest is weak and faint; either they're really beat up or they're underground..."
Illusion turned his head to face the direction he'd found the signal. "There's without a doubt a unicorn with them, though. Odd, but looking at this little group of ours... Either way, all the signals are in this general direction, and it's not even that far. C'mon, let's go."

With that, the stallion walked off at a fairly quick pace.

"Seems like a normal group of rogues to me." Nocturna responds, trotting at a brisk pace alongside Illusion.

Up in the sky there was a little yellow pegasus name Gracie Sky flying around lazily. She was constantly surveying the land below, amazed by all the interesting things she saw. Trees, rocks, clouds, and birds! She occassionally closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Unfortunately, during one of her breaths, she accidentally ran into a bee. It got caught up in her mane and started making angry buzzing noises. Gracie heard this buzzing and gave a frightful scream! She flailed around in the air in a frenzied panic, trying to get the bee off. Somewhere, she lost the bee, but by that time, she was in a free fall and lost her balance.

She crashed down to earth in the strange forest area she happened to be flying above. Still unaware that her bee companion had left her, she continued to flail around on the ground, shouting out something about not liking bees.

Peacekeeper wakes up to the screaming, but with his eyes still closed.

(I hear somepony screaming. Sounds like she is captured or something)

*starts getting worried* (I think she is gonna get punished, but I can't mess up the timeline. Hopefully they don't find us in here. I don't think anyone knows about it.)

*tries to go back to sleep*

"Before any of you say it, I'm aware of the yelling, but we cannot stray from our path and risk harm to us, or even the pony herself. It seems like we're coming close to some sort of entranceway, at least I think a boulder usually yields a blocked entrance, especially with unicorns." Nocturna says, in response to hearing the scream.

"Um... Right..." Was Illusion's somewhat uncomfortable response. Just leaving a pony to whatever fate befell them just wasn't sitting well with him.

"That most definitely looks like a blocked entryway, but you don't necessarily need a unicorn for this work. Look, it's been moved slightly to allow ponies to potentially squeeze through." Breaker had said, keeping his voice quiet to prevent being overheard.
"Anyway... Looks like we have three options here. One, we stick to the original plan; Diplomacy and possibly violence. Two, we blast the rock and demand they give back whatever was stolen. We outnumber them, after all. And then there's plan Three, Forgo talking altogether, blast the rock, and take 'em by surprise."

"While they may have ransacked the camp, I sense there's a reason they left so carelessly, and that diplomacy would be the best choice for both of our groups." Nocturna reasons. She gets prepared for the encounter, waiting on Illusion so that they can get in and converse, with the entrance guarded.

As maple returned bearing a very large amount of ferns he noticed the group out side the cave."oh horse feathers what I'm I going to do". A twig broke as he hid

Nocturna whips over to the direction of the noise, pointing her dagger as she does so. "I heard you, whoever you are. Come out, and no harm will come to you. We're here to talk, not fight." She says, quiet enough to where the cave group wouldn't hear, but loud enough to gain the attention of the pony.

"oh hay she heard that" maple stayed where he was

Illusion let out a sigh, before his horn glowed. "If you'll excuse me..." With a white flash, he disappeared.
"Of course we heard that." Said the stallion's voice directly behind the pony known as Maple. "But it's not a question of whether we'll hurt you or not, but rather a question of if you'll cooperate or not. Put simply, if you're a rude ruffian like I think you are, then we, or more specifically, you, are going to have problems. If you're not... Well, no harm and all that."

Maple jumped out of the bushes into the open where his injuries where visible ."woah hold it there who are you?"

(Radiovid: Would you rather I find you instantly and spoil whatever surprises you might have planned? I can still do that, if you want. )

As the earth pony jumped away, Illusion followed, sporting a creepy grin on his face as he stopped about eight paces away.. "Who am I, indeed? I have many names, after all... But you're not entirely in a position to ask. Why don't you tell us yours, instead? And please, no screaming for help; I really don't wanna get violent over a misunderstanding."

"trust me there's nothing worse you could do to me" he chuckled lifting the bandage covering his broken lens

((And if I wasn't so out of shape when it comes to RPing, I might actually have a surprise or two planned. Sadly, I do not. X3 ))

It was only a matter of time before Gracie finally stopped flailing and popped her head up. After casually examining her mane, she came to two conclusions: she did not have a bee in her mane and her mane was a mess now.

Gracie took a moment to plan her next course of action now. Her first thought was to simply take off back into the sky... but she knew there were bees up there possibly. Her eyes fell to the ground and she noticed that she was sitting on grass. The grass looked different than what she was used to, so she lowered her head to sniff the grass a bit. Then she took a few bites out of it. She concluded that it tasted like grass.

Another insect landed on her mane, but this time it was a butterfly. Gracie saw the butterfly on top of her and became enamoured with it. It slowly started flying away from her and she began following it, as if she were in a trance.

(S'alright, I'll give you some time to come up with something... Or do you want to be found and be introduced to the groups?)

"Whoa-ho! That's one fancy-looking albeit busted fake eye!" Illusion remarked. "But is that a challenge I just heard...?"
The stallion's creepy grin widened. "Oh, I can think of a few fates worse than having to get a replacement for your eye... Petrification comes to mind..."

All the light in the area soon began to dim, leaving only the two ponies in the clearing with any light shining down on them.

"Think about it... Stuck in one place for all eternity as a statue. Oh, I'm not referring to a cockatrice's gaze, here... You'd be keeping your awareness... You would be unable to move a muscle, unable to even sleep for all that time, forced to watch as years, decades, and centuries go by, helpless as time marches on... And maybe if you're lucky, all those years will take it's toll, and you'd crumble to dust..."

The stallion chuckled. "And that's only one possible path. Sadly, if I go much further with the details, someone I know will get in trouble for my being a little too vicious. Child-friendliness and all that. Rest assured, none of it's pleasant."

The light returned immediately as the creepy atmosphere vanished instantly. "So let's not dwell on that! Name, please!"

Maple burst out laughing."oh my I like this one name's maplewood, Lt Maplewood of the E.R.D" maple continued to chuckle as he got up holding his cybernetic hoof out .

If he weren't already doing so, Illusion would've grinned. "Grand Illusion, nice to meet ya!" He said, shaking the offered hoof with quite a bit of enthusiasm.
He then looked to the other three ponies that he had been with. "C'mon, don't be rude. Introduce yourselves!"

Breaker rolled his eyes. "Stone-" "Real name, please." A sigh was heard. "Spell-Breaker, at your service..."

"nice to meet you, oh and by the way this isn't a fake eye watch" he smiled as a broken hologram barely exited the broken lens

*-Whenever you are ready. Surprise us at any time.

The group continues to sleep.

While Gracie Sky wasin pursuit of the butterfly, she heard the sound of voices coming from behind a bunch of trees very far off. Her ears perked up and she looked in the direction of the voices. She couldn't really make out what she saw through all the foilage, though.

She lowered herself a bit, remembering how mean the ponies around here were to her the last time she tried talking to them. Of course, maybe whoever was over there weren't as mean. Gracie thought to herself that she should assess the level of niceness of the voices behind the trees before deciding whether to approach them or not.

Not that Gracie was a master of subtlety, but she attempted to carefully sneak around and get a glimpse of whatever was going on over there.

The hooded pony heard more ponies heading toward the cave the ponies 'from the future' where hiding out in after clearing out the campsite. He couldn't make out what they were saying, but it sounded like they were heading directly for the blocked cave. He moved toward the new group, maintaining his distance and listening as they spoke. He caught a few names and presumably, why they were there. With this many ponies coming together, it was only a matter of time before his presence was noticed, most likely by one of the unicorns, and the hooded pony struggled to come up with a story in the back of his mind at the thought.

*Mystic wakes up to talking outside*
huuh what...is going on... who is talking... the whispers to herself *gets up and runs to Keeper and Maker*
h..he..hey Keeper...Maker i think somepony is outside.... she whispers to them trying to wake them up

*waking up*Hmm? Talking outside?
*waking up, talking softly*So, there are ponies talking right in front of our cave? Don't worry.
*talking softly*Yea. The door is sealed with the boulder and nopony can't even tell there is a cave in here. Come sleep with us if you feel uncomfortable.

oh ok... but what about the yelling sounded like someone was in trouble.. she calmed down and whispered *lays down with keeper and maker keeping on guard*

*silently*... We wish we could help them, but if we do, we can get into more trouble.
*silently*Yea. Also, we are from the future. If we change something here, like saving the life of that pony, we can mess up our future. We can't just jump in. I know I want to really help, but it is best that we are safe and that we go back to the future. *places his hoof over Mystic*
*silent*If they do come in here, I will do my best to protect you. Besides, I have a special eye that can paralyze anyone who sees it when I stare at them, and it can kind of predict their attack. If not, I can teleport to a pony outside and we run.

The Peaces begin to sleep.

Gracie popped her head out of a bush, excited by how sneaky she was being. Her mane was covered in leaves and twigs and maybe even a spider she didn't notice.

In fact, she was so excited about sneaking around, she became oblivious as to the reason she was sneaking around in the first place. Oh right, those ponies. She definately could tell they were ponies now.

She heard a rustling nearby and hid back under her bush. She noticed another pony wrapped up in a dark cloak wander near her bush and settle nearby. From what Gracie could tell, he was also eavsedropping on the conversation. Maybe he was also trying to figure out if those ponies were nice or not! They had a common objective! Gracie thought the whole process would be easier if they worked together!

He was facing away from her bush hiding spot, so she slowly crept her head out of the bush, trying to figure out a way to get his attention without scaring him. A light poke on the back was the best idea she could come up with.

The hooded pony had let his guard down, focused as he was on the ponies near the cave. By the time he heard her approach, she was effectively right next to him. Still, he didn't expect her to reach out and poke him, causing him to shift a bit to the side, turning to face the Pegasus, glancing down at her, raising an unseen eyebrow under his hood. Even in the darkness, the bat ponies goldenrod eyes shone, revealing the  strange slitted pupils, and his fangs clearly visible. "Filly, what are you doing?" Radiovid asked quietly, keeping in mind that they could be overheard by those near the cave if they spoke too loudly.

"I want to see if those ponies talking over there are nice!" Gracie replied in a loud whisper. She pointed over to the ponies she was refering to. "I saw you sneaking around like me, so I thought it would be best to sneak around together! Good idea huh?"

The young Pegasus seemed too eager in this particular endeavor to notice the unusual eyes and fangs of the pony she was whispering to. All she knew was that he was wearing a hood, which she thought was only to make him more sneaky.

"A pleasure to meet you, Sir Maplewood, though I must ask, are you of the future ponies group, that has ransacked our camp, plaguing us with complications?" Nocturna inquires, holstering her dagger.

"well mabye I just joined the group but let me go and talk to them " maple quickly squeezed back though and went over to the others."umm peace we kinda got a problem"

"Illusion, I don't trust your new friend too much. I think he's going to blast this whole plan into bits." Nocturna informs Illusion, quietly so that nopony hears. "I say we go in now." She continues, going closer to the boulder.

"Whatever happened to diplomacy? He seems nice enough even if he looks like some weird golem. Besides, this is pretty much the only entrance. I vote we give him a chance!" Was Illusion's protest.
He saw Breaker shaking his head. "You're a bit too trusting, brother. Who knows what he could be doing in there? I say we go in. Too bad, it looks like you've been out-voted."

"Elegan can back me up on this! Won't you, El- Where'd she go?" Illusion looked around rapidly for the earth pony that had mysteriously vanished.
"Out-voted." His brother repeated, walking up to the rock and shoving it aside a little more with his magic, providing easier entrance.

"Ladies first." He told Nocturna. "You wanted to speak to them yourself in the first place, did you not?"

"Indeed, and we will be diplomatic, but we have to stick with the plan, to keep a backup. Inwards I go, you know the drill." Nocturna replies, trotting in through the entrance.

Maple turned around fast ."wish what is this" a sword made out of pure energy  quickly forms from his metal hoof

"Holster your blade, Sir Maplewood, and allow for me to speak, instead of you, to the group of which has stolen and harmed my group. We wish for no violence to occur, and I would hope the same applies to you." Nocturna states calmly, but diplomatically. "State your names, ponies of the future realm, so that we may communicate in a proper fashion." She continues.

Maple sighs and let's the blade dissipate."fine but I do not feel that was are intention"

The Peaces wake up in terror and cower to the wall covering Mystic from behind.

Peacemaker activates his sharingan and lightens a spell in case they start an attack.

We don't mean harm. We just don't know where we are and are hiding here so we don't get in trouble with the other tribes. Please!... Please don't hurt us!
... My name is Peacekeeper, this is Peacemaker.

We didn't know it was yours. We thought it was just an old abandon camp so we took the stuff and hid in the cave so no one can find and hurt us. I don't wanna fight ya either. How you know we are from the future? Maple told you didn't he.

*to Maple*Maple, you shouldn't have told them. We could mess up our time!
*to the group* We are sorry. Please dun hurt us.

.a...and i ...a.am Mystic ..Bliss i mean no harm im just a filly .....trying to ....learn magic she said with fear in her voice please dont... fight .....i dont want to fight..

"I see. Given the filly, it's my hope you are all smart, though pulling your weapons is hardly friendly, peaces." Nocturna tells them, still keeping her defensive state. "We are mostly hunting for my journal, one very important to me, which you probably know to contain magical research within it. The journal contains my name on the front, Nocturna. Return that, and we're on better terms than before." She continues.

"sorry peace they caught me as I was gathering ferns" maple sighed feeling   a little childish for being caught .

Peacemaker subides his magic charge, but maintains his eye.

Wait... that's your book!? Didn't know to take it. We were hoping to learn the current state of Equestria so we can learn how to survive and get along with the groups. Sorry for taking it.

Peacemaker levitates Nocturna's book and returns it to her.

Okay you have your book. We can give you your camp back, too. All we want to do is to survive and return home to our time.

*to Maple*It's alright. As long as we don't cause anything major the future should be okay.

*to the group* Please promise to keep our existance a secret. We don't want to alter our future. We probably already messed it up, but we don't want to make it worst.

*to Nocturna* Hopefully if it isn't too much to ask, but there was somethng that said about time. We were wondering if it can help us return to our future.

"To be honest, I was hoping to utilize my research to ascertain a way to the future, through the expanse of space and time. This research was compiled from the study located at the castle inside the Everfree. I have never been able to set it up, but it's theoretically possible to bend the nature of space and time, catapulting you to a different time period, AKA your future, for example." Nocturna states, looking through her book again. "Also, about the state of Equestria at this time, the three races hate eachother, those that communicate and hang out with the other races are considered traitors or outcasts, and those different from the "Pure" nature of the three tribes, any race, are exiled and ridiculed, such as myself." She continues, flashing her fangs.

Peacemaker deactivates his sharingan, feeling more hospitality from Nocturna.

Oh, so you are a vampony. I can see why. Crazy enough we were reading through a book, we read something, but I guess it was a spell that teleported us to this time. We were actually planning to go to the castle to find a spell to get us back home. I know for sure me and Keeper are in huge danger since we are related. We are brothers.

Maple started to get nervous he was not ok with vamponies at all .

Radiovid looked at Gracie for a moment, noting her excitement and her odd reason for walking up to him, before sighing. "Fine, do as you want. Just be sure to be quiet, alright?" He said, redirecting his attention back to the cave, as the two groups finally met inside the cave, moving closer and closer to it too keep an ear on their conversation. Tensions seemed high at first, but quickly cooled down. The mention of a time travel spell was particularly interesting, as was the proof that the ponies in the cave, Maple, the Peaces, and Mystic Bliss were from the future and that Nocturna was a vampony.

"Well, it's not that they outright hate each other. They just don't trust each other much farther than they can throw each other. Though some can throw quite a long way..." Said Illusion as he popped into the cavern. "Also, Hi. And bye." And with that, he was gone.

Maple started to inch away from nocturna trying to get as much distance as possible

Wait... *To the two unicorns* Ya were the ponies from before who looked like earth ponies, arent' ya?

"Wait! I didn't even get to say my name yet!" Gracie whispered after Radiovid. Unfortunately, there was no time for such formalities, so she trotted after him in great haste.

Where he stopped was close to this boulder covering a boulder-shaped cave opening. Safely hiding behind her new pony friend, she peered into the cave. She could make out some pony-shaped silhouettes, but it was really dark in there, for the most part. There were also voices inside the cave, but Gracie couldn't make out any words.

It was most upsetting. She really wanted to know more about these ponies. Maybe they could even tell her where in Equestria she was. Eager to figure these figures in the cave out, she flew up on top of the boulder and tried looking in from there. She saw the same silhouettes, except bigger.

"Oh, us? Naaaah..." Said the unicorn who had walked back in. "That's about as believable as time-travel! Oh, wait..."
Illusion laughed nervously, and was about to say something when somepony's voice interrupted...

*Meanwhile, outside...*

"You there, don't you dare move a muscle!" Shouted Breaker as his horn glowed blue, glaring directly at the pegasus laying on top of the boulder, apparently trying to eavesdrop.
How she'd not noticed him standing guard right outside the entrance this WHOLE TIME he did not know. Or perhaps she did know and just didn't care.

Either way, she was an unknown and would be treated accordingly.
"Explain yourself! What reason have you for being here?!"

Gracie Sky instinctively jumped up in shock when the loud unicorn yelled at her. After that, she tried her best at not moving any of her muscles as she was instructed. But then he had to ask her a second question which would force her to violate the first command she was given. She pondered on how to respond without moving her mouth, but it was a lost cause.

After giving it a second thought, he only instructed her not to dare move a muscle. Gracie's limited definition on the word "dare" made the entire command confusing all of a sudden.

Either way, she knew an answer was expected out of her. "I... um... have the reason of wanting to find out if the ponies who went into this cave were nice or not. I thought since you were also hanging around out here, trying to listen in, maybe you were a friend of that pony in a cape that I was following around. He wanted to listen in too and... I want to listen, and I'm guessing you want to know if they are saying nice things too, right? We all have a common cause! Listening!"

Gracie started to wonder what she just said.

Breaker opened his mouth as if to speak, paused, closed it, and after a few seconds tried again. "Pony in a cape? Who would you be talking...?" He trailed off as his eyes narrowed.
The glow in his horn intensified, and everypony in the vicinity felt something akin to being hit by a wave of cold water. There wasn't even the possibility of mistaking this for anything other than magic.

The next thing anyone knew, the stallion was glaring directly at the hiding spot of a bat-pony. "I know you're there..." He said menacingly, horn still glowing as he prepared spells to defend himself and/or attack if necessary.

"It seems we have one pony in the mix that doesn't appear to like me at all." Nocturna says, pointing to Maple. She lightly sighs, but maintains her demeanor. "In any case, anything at the castle has been obtained by me, time-wise, so going to the castle would be a wasted, and dangerous, trip for information, though I believe it has to be utilized for the spell to take place." She continues, making note of where all the magic in her journal is located.

Maple just keeps on moving away until he is leaning against the wall

"Sir Maplewood, if you need to say something, then say it!" Nocturna snaps, angry at his behavior.

Radiovid sighed as Gracie ran right up to the entrance of the cave, getting herself spotted in the process, and immediately after, he slowly put a hoof to his face as she casually gave him away to the Unicorn that had spotted her. He gave a slight shudder as the detection spell passed over him. He hated the way unicorn magic tended to feel like an unwelcome dip in a river. Well, it wasn't like he expected to remain hidden forever with so many unicorns around anyway. So he walked out from his hiding spot, eyes shining under his hood in an unimpressed expression. "Stow it magic user, I'm not here to fight, I'm just... curious about your time travelling 'friends' in the cave there. Besides, I'm not the one threatening fillies."

*To Illusion*I already know feeling your magic, plus you look the same. Pretty neat spell to hide. I need to learn that. And yes, we are from the future. Just keep it a secret so to not change our future.

*to Maple*Maple! It's okay. Don't get too scared. Be here with us if you to scared to be standing there. *giving a facehoof*

Peacekeeper is a bit curious on what was going at the entrance and tries to look and listen from where he is standing.

*To Nocturna* So you already have the time spell. Can you help us how to get back? We need to get back home and we don't want to mess up our future.

"I suppose I could attempt to help, though performing this spell itself can alter a lot itself, as we would need to sneak into the Castle of The Two pony Sisters(that is the name, right?), and go into the hidden library wing, in order to prepare and execute said spell. All the materials I've been gathering, if you haven't destroyed them." Nocturna says, hoofing the book back, with the notes and bookmarks.

"Oh, a secret? Hm... You know, it might not even matter. Chances are, whatever changes you've made have already occurred in some way. A stable time loop, also known as the Predestination paradox or the Destiny Trap; You can't change history if you're a part of it. And that's not even mentioning the possibility of alternate timelines."
Illusion looked to the entrance. "You guys do know somepony's out there, right? And that it's not just Breaker?"

*Outside*

"In this day and age, anyone and everyone is a possible threat. For all I know, the filly was to be the distraction so you could sneak up and sink your fangs into my throat. And how do I know for sure she's even a filly at all?" Breaker replied, returning the batpony's unimpressed look with a burning glare.
"And for the record, he didn't threaten her." Said a smaller stallion who'd poked his head out the entrance. "All brother did was tell her not to move and make a demand. More intimidation than actually threatening."

Then it is either half and hald. Either whatever we did actually connects to our line and was hidden this whole time, or we pretty much screwed our time up already.

*reading the book* Looks almost the same as the other book that sent us back in time. Well I don't want to risk doing it if I don't know that it will send us to our. I wanna make sure it IS the spell to our time. Guess we do have to go to the castle.

Well... we can try going tomorrow. If ya like all of you can sleep over with us in this cave and close it with the boulder. Nopony will find us here.

"While I doubt anypony will, it's worth noting we found you all easily" Nocturna says, chuckling.

"Um, weren't you paying attention? We were already found." Said illusion, re-appearing at Nocturna's side out of seemingly nowhere, pointing a hoof at the entrance. "Pegasus and a bat right outside. Or did you already know and just didn't care?"

If ya found us easy, then I don't think this is a good spot to hide then.

Wait... there's more?

"Heeeeeeeey!" Gracie scowled with an angry glare, "I am too a filly! And I'm not a distraction. And I'm not threatening either! A-and I wasn't intimidated! That's right, I'm a brave, non-threatening and non-distracting filly!"

Maybe those ponies were meanies after all, after calling her all those bad things!

you mean.... th...there are more ponies that found us.... i ....i hope they are nice

"Uh, yeah? Didn't you hear brother shout? Speaking of which, I should make sure he doesn't mortally offend them..."
And with that, Illusion was gone. Again.

*Outside*

"Well, duh! You'd have to be brave to even consider walking into a spooky forest with nothing but a strange bat-pony as your guide!" Said Illusion as he poked his head out the entrance again. "Don't let the knight in sour armor tell you otherwise!"
"Don't encourage her, brother." "Or what? Going to let loose some snark at me?"

Breaker just sighed, applying his hoof to his face

"I heard about the outside ponies, though made the assumption you could handle diplomatic relations of outside the cave proper, while I communicated to the interior group standing before me." Nocturna tells Illusion.

Maple just sits down and begins to hum to himself trying to calm down the fact that this was happening

I never knew of the ponies outside. I don't want to get in trouble with them. Well... lets see together. Keeper, stay with Mystic.

Peacemaker concentrates, and tries to check every pony's magic across the vicinity by absorbing whatever source of magic around him. Sure enough, he finds 2 more at the door of the cave, a pegasus and a bat pony.

Hopefully they aren't a threat. Looks like the brothers are with them as well.

so...where do we go now...i mean if we were found here that easily.. hmm  she begins to think

Maple gets up  in a fast motion ."nocturna I'm sorry for making you feel unwelcome I have just never meet any of your kind and am very sure this didn't happen to you with your consent."

Radiovid rolled his eyes at the Unicorns glare. "Typical assumption about my kind. Always fear what you don't understand, right? Better to push and intimidate than learn." He gave a slight smirk as Gracie spoke up to Breaker. "Well said, filly. Don't let yourself be pushed around." He glanced at Illusion as he poked his head out of the cave again and addressed the filly and Breaker. Seeing how pretty much everypony there most likely knew what he was now, he reached up and lowered his hood, giving them a better look at his dark blue coat, and mane of light blue and grey. He addressed Breaker again with a chuckle. "At least one of you has a sense of humor."

*Just realized what you meant, will now respond to it.

"I don't see how that's better in any way, but I do accept your apology about making me feel unwelcome. Believe me, you aren't the first, though you are the first I've encountered that hasn't tried to execute me for being who I am." Nocturna says, a blank expression present on her face.

At first, Gracie was really happy to recieve a compliment from the hooded pony she was previously following around, but then he took off his hood and revealed his face.

It looked... different, to say the least. Gracie had never seen anything quite like it! It was rather fascinating, though. She wondered how he got those fangs and those wierd eyes. Maybe it was common here, where ever here was. Still, Gracie couldn't help but stare excessively at them. It was as though she were being hypnotized by them. She even comtemplated getting a closer look, but there was that gruffy unicorn down there that called her a threat! She didn't want to get anywhere near him! At least not until he said something nice to her first! Quite, she was rather content with sitting on this boulder. She even forgot why she was on this boulder in the first place, to look at the ponies inside the cave. Those fangs and pointy eyes were all that could hold her attention at the moment.

"what is going on out here ?" maple asked poking his head out

*to Nocturna* Since you know a lot of this place, I feel I can trust you, and we would like your help a lot. I could hardly trust anyone around me, especially this time period. You and the others outside can stay here in the cave so no one wll see us. Just hope those others outside don't mess with me or anyone. I don't want to fight, but I don't want to lose anypony. Promise me you and those ponies NEVER do anything bad to me, Keeper, Mystic, or Maple.

"Promises are nothing but words, unless there's more applied to it." Nocturna states in reply, chuckling. "Though you should know that I have nothing to go back to anyway, so there'd be no reason I would do anything to your group, and risk going back to a dark, damp forest alone." She reasons.

Hey, all I am saying is that I don't want any trouble. Just really promise me. You don't mess with me, I wont mess with you.

You say that you are alone. Alone I know is dangerous. Together we got a better chance to survive. Well... so much for not trying to mess with my future, but I just want to go home. You also said that you were wanting to go to the future, right? We can tell you some things about it. Just remember to not tell anyone in this time.

"Who would I tell? Talking to anypony usually results in a fight and ponies chasing after me. In any case, even if they didn't, they don't deserve to hear a word about anything like that." Nocturna says. "Also, I promise that under no circumstances will harm come upon you by my group or myself."

So... you can call your group in. It is pretty late. Ya guys seem to be tired too.

"To put it quickly, you all really need to learn how to hide your tracks, and to camouflage your hiding place. A giant boulder in front of a place looking like a cave is also a clear sign." Nocturna says, shrugging. She calls the rest of the group in, hoping they'll come and go to sleep.

Gracie's ears perked up when a pony from inside the cave started calling out to come inside the cave to get some sleep. Unfortunately, Gracie wasn't particularly tired at the moment, since there were so many interesting things going on! Of course, there was a high chance that whoever was doing the calling out wasn't talking to her, unless the pony was talking to everypony outside. Gracie had to be sure and thus allowed her train of thought to run rampant.

"Um, does that mean me too? Can I come inside? I want to go inside the cave! Can I, please? Are all the ponies inside the cave nice? I only like nice ponies and no grumpy ones! I promise not to make a lot of noise or cause any accidents! Why are we all hiding inside this cave anyway? Is there a party in here? Hehehe! I love parties, but not ones that are too loud. Is there any food? I'm actually really hungry right now and I could use some chips! Are there chips inside? And punch too, that's my favorite drink! I'm so excited!"

Gracie proceeded to fly into the cave blindly in hopes of finding chips and punch, oblivious to anything else at the moment. She even forgot that it was too dark in the cave for her to see, and not even allow her eyes the time to adjust to the darkness. She eventually crashed face first into a wall inside the cave, falling to the ground and stunning herself momentarily.

Oh wow. Didn't know they can track hoof prints well. We could have gotten killed. You got lucky Keeper.

*shrugging and worried, looking at his own hoof and print* Sorry. I thought it looked well to hide in the cave. Well... one thing I did tried was to hide the light of the fire.


They then noticed a filly flying in and crashing. They run to the filly.
Aye! You okay?
*lifts her head, and massaging her head*

Illusion chuckled. "Just about everypony here could be considered nice. Except Breaker; he's a party-pooper." He had no idea what chips and punch were, but they sounded delicious. Before he could ask, the filly small mare had bolted into the cave. He winced as he heard a loud thud that could only be her face meeting a wall.

Being the nice guy that he was, he naturally rushed to her aid (With breaker following him inside while still staring suspiciously at the bat-pony).
"You alright there? Didn't get a concussion? Actually, better question: How many horns do you see on me?" Illusion asked the small and stunned Pegasus.

Maple sighed as he heard the thud and decided to simply sit outside and think

oh goodness ....i hope she is ok

Gracie Sky wasn't particularly in a state of mind to comprehend the questions being asked to her, but that was easily fixed! All it took was a vigorous shaking of her head to bring her back to her senses. She looked slightly disoriented, but it was hard to believe she was feeling any discomfort with how she was smiling.

"Whoops! Already one accident!" she exclaimed cheerfully, "Okay, no causing accidents starting now!"

Gracie gave the cave and the ponies inside a brief glance. A few of them had wandered over to her, apparently worried that she injured herself. She didn't feel the need to explain how she was always crashing into things on accident back at the orphanage and that it would take more than a silly stone wall to hurt her. But she did feel happy that they were showed signs of concern for her. Maybe they were nice ponies after all!

Gracie knew the perfect way to express her gratitude for their concerns. "So, where's all the food? I haven't eaten since lunch! I'm hungry! Somepony said there were chips and fruit punch here!" (unknowingly refering to herself)

(Wow. Even gettin hit like that she still feeling crazy happy?)
(This foal can tolerate pain as much as my nephew. Crazy.)

Chips and punch? Eesh we don't have some.
There is a bag and a jar of water... eh... (Kinda dirty water) and we have some fruits. But sorries, there are no chips and juice.

"It seems we have a lot of accidental discoveries, huh?" Nocturna says, organizing the cave and getting sleeping areas set up. "Question of the day, who originally thought it was a good idea to take a bite out of the red cloth?" She continues, laughing a bit.

Radiovid felt Gracie staring at his eyes and fangs, be decided not to say anything about it, and before long she ran headlong into the cave. He walked into the cave after her and Breaker, completely ignoring his glare to look around at the gathered ponies. The only one that caused him a moment of pause was the Vampony, being nearly as out of place as him, and he took a moment to glance over the Pegasus and Unicorn brothers, but he moved his attention to Gracie as she got back up from running into the wall to ramble. "Nothing keeps you down, does it filly?" He asked with a chuckle, keeping his distance from the main group, remaining near the entrance, just in case his being a Bat Pony became an issue.

Nocturna heads over to Radiovid. "What's wrong? You're acting like Sir Maplewood did, though he just doesn't like Vamponies in the slightest." Nocturna inquires, after which realizing her rudeness. "Oh, I forgot to ask, what is your name? My name is Nocturna, or as you may know by other names, the "Lone Moon", "Shadow Wanderer", or the "Bloody Flier", depending on which idiot was retelling it to their children or little circle." She says, laughing.

Since it appeared there were, in fact, no chips OR punch here, maybe it wasn't a party after all. Gracie lost all interest in eating spontaneously and decided to find the next interesting thing. Her ears propped up when she heard somepony introducing herself. That's right! Gracie never introduced herself, so these other ponies must've been wondering who she was! And that pony who was introducing herself was talking to the bat-like pony! The one she was following around before, albiet for only 30 seconds. He was the first pony around here who was nice to her and he looked different from all the other ponies she knew, so she was oddly compelled to talk to him as much as possible.

Just as Nocturna finished introducing herself, Gracie Sky popped between the two, directing most of her monolouge towards Radiovid. "Hello! My name is Gracie Sky! I come from Canterlot, and I oftenly visit Ponyville! Can you tell me your name, Mr. Bat Pony? How come you look like a bat, anyway? Does that mean you hang upside down when you sleep? Do those sharp teeth make it harder to brush? Could I get wings like those if I tried hard enough? Does everything look skinnier to you since your eyes are so up and downy like that? Can I take you home with me?"

Maple chuckled from his sitting postion as he listened to the Gracie ask question after question.

The Peaces chuckled of Nocturna's question and Gracie when hearing her asking a lot of questions as they had sibling that can relate to her.

Peacekeeper realized something about Gracie and whispers to his brother's ear quietly.

*whispering to Peacemaker* She says she's from Canterlot. It's impossible for a pegasus to reside in it.
*whispering to Peacekeeper*What are you saying? She is from... Wait! She could be from the future, too. That's right. Pegasi don't live together with unicorns, and Canterlot is all unicorns.

hmmm..... how can she of visited or be from those places.... they should not exist yet should they? she whispers to the peaces quietly being unsure if she is right or not

*whispering to Mystic* Well... Canterlot has been around in this time, too. In this time,only unicorns live there.  Actually, now that I think about it, Ponyville actually didn't exist in this time. So that means Gracie IS from the future.

*Whispering to Peacekeeper* So that is another pony that teleported with us. Wow, this spell was really big. I just don't know who else may have teleported to this time.

Radiovid shrugged slightly as Noctunra addressed him. "Just taking in the absurdity of so many races coming together like this Besides, hard to trust members of the races that hate you for existing." Before he could say more, however, Gracie jumped in between them, launching a barrage of questions his way. With a small smirk, he decided to answer her questions in the order they had been asked. "My name is Radiovid, I look this way because I am a Bat Pony. I only sleep upside down when the mood strikes me, or I don't want to be found, and my fangs were only a problem when I was very young. No you can't, but be proud of what you were born with. Make no excuses for being who, or what," he paused to give an aside glance to Breaker, "you are. No, I see the world the same as you, well, except that I can see in the dark." He gave a chuckle at the last question, though. "Now why would want to go and do something like that? Also, what's Ponyville?"

oh....ok that explains a bit then thanks ^-^ she whispered

Gracie rapidly nodded her head after each answer was given, although the probability that many of the answers were immediately forgotten were high. When she was asked what Ponyville was, she giggled with excitement. "You don't know what Ponyville is? I guess I never see any bat ponies there, so I guess maybe you wouldn't've heard of it. But it's this wonderful place where all the ponies are friends with each other! I go on field trips there all the time and I always get a lot of chips and punch! You should definately go there once, but you'll have to work on smiling much better than you are. The ponies there get easily scared by scary looking things, like those sharp looking teeth you have. But if they are smiling sharp looking teeth, maybe it wouldn't be as scary! If somepony like me could make friends in Ponyville, I'm sure you could do it if you tried! Maybe I could take you there right now, once I figure out where I am first, though. Maybe you know?"

Peacekeeper was hesitant to say that ponyville doesn't exist so to not affect the future even more than what he thinks.
Peacemaker was just as hesitant, but doesn't want to worry Gracie that she is in the past and get her scared of the current situation.

"So you don't know where you are, hm?" Nocturna inquires, debating how to word what she wanted to word.

"Wherever you may come from, whether it be from the future or an alternative universe, this time period has different villages, housing one singular race within each, to maintain a "True" blood. The ponies of the cave are of the same or similar time period as you are perhaps a part of, whilst I'm from the past. We're looking into getting them back to the future, and for me to see the future. Do tell, however, how did you possibly managed to utilize the time-warp/time-travel spell?" She continues, curiously.

Gracie Sky blankly looked at Nocturna, scratching her head once. "The what? I didn't utilize anything! I swear I didn't!" she shouted out defensively, "I don't understand what you're saying! I don't know what a time-travel spell is! I'm not even a unicorn! I think I just got lost... somehow... even though I was trying not to! Oh, please don't tell the matron I lost again! She's probably already mad at me... probably already wondering where I am!"

Gracie's uneasy gaze fell to the ground as she considered how much trouble she could possibly be in with the matron. She subconciously started walking backwards at a crawling pace, struck with the urge to leave and attempt to find the group she was with earlier that day until everything went crazy.

The Peaces hear Nocturna spill the beans about being the future, and Peacemaker decides to fill in what may have happened.

Um... I think I can tell you how you got here. I think you probably teleported with me and some others to the past accidentally. I think you got caught in the magic field, too that got you here.

wow... a bat pony....you..seem....nice so .... i am going to say hello nice to meet you i am....Mystic Bliss

Maple started to come up with the conclusion that he most likely wasn't going to get back in time for the ceremony and so groaned with frustration sending his metal hoof though the trunk of a nearby tree

"Magic field?" Gracie repeated, still unsure what all these technical sounding words were refering to. She scratched her head and stared down at the ground, trying to recall what exactly happened to her. These ponies seemed to know much more than she did, so maybe they could figure it out. Maybe they could even figure out a way she could get out of trouble!

"All I remember happening was being told that I could go play outside. I love playing outside, so I went flying around all over the place. I was on my way to the candy store, since they always give me free candy, which I love. But on the way, I saw this strange flash engulf me and then I was suddenly in like a plain field sort of place! I think I must've fallen asleep while flying and didn't wake up until I was in the middle of nowhere. Maybe I'm still sleeping and you're all just a part of my dream! Hehe... well anyways, I saw a strange looking hut thing and wondered why the hut was so strange looking. So I landed near it and you wouldn't believe what happened! An Earth Pony came out and yelled at me! Something about Pegasi belonging in the sky and away from the ground. I don't like mean ponies, so I just flew very far away and looked for somepony else to talk to! But then I crashed into the ground because I ran into a bee. Bees are meeeeeeeean! I got stung by one before and all I did was sniff it a few times! Thankfully this bee that ran into me flew away and that's when I met... (unable to recall Radiovid's name) the bat pony! He led me to this cave! Isn't all that interesting??"

Gracie was so proud of herself for telling that story and started prancing around gleefully.

The Peaces feel more guilt.

Yea... that flash was from me and my brother. We were reading a book and we accidentally read a part of the book that had a spell that took us back into this time. Sorry for putting you here. Ponies of other types will be mad since in this time, other ponies of other types hate each other, but not all. We all care for each other.

*yawn* I am feeling sleepy. Feels so late not.

"Let's all go to sleep for the night, I say. During daybreak, we shall head out for the castle." Nocturna states.

Breaker raised an eyebrow. "I was under the impression you were nocturnal, or at the least preferred the night. And then there's the literal bat-pony; who should be nocturnal."
He glanced towards the bat-pony in question. "Or am I judging based on what you are?" He said mockingly.

Either he didn't trust the bat-pony or he just didn't like him. Probably both. And it would take more than a few words to convince him...

"Brother, please. Enough. Let's just get some sleep." Illusion had said. "What, so he can-" At this point, the smaller brother had heard enough. "Good lord, Cyrus, nopony's going to bite or otherwise harm our throats! You're being cautious and don't trust anypony, I know, but for Bullion's sake, don't be such a jerk about it!"

Several seconds passed. "If you're that worried, you can set up a barrier while we sleep. Just don't be like this."
More time passed, before the larger of the two sighed. "Very well..." He'd said, before walking off, farther back into the cave.

Illusion gave the rest of the group an apologetic look. "We'll be sleeping in the back of the cave." He'd said, before following his brother.

Maple waved them off "I'm ok you guys get some rest I still need to think about this"

Okay. Oh wait...
He gets up and goes outside, taking a branch so that he can try to hide the hoof prints. He goes back in and tries to seal the door with the large rock.

He turns to the bat pony near the exit.
Come in with us. We got a fire to stay warm. *continues to walk to the back and rests on his portion of the bed.*

*-Everybody ready to go to sleeps to take it to the next day?

Gracie Sky was overhearing the others talking about sleeping. She wasn't particularly in the mood to sleep and had no quarrels hiding this fact. "What, already? I'm not even sleepy, though! I at least need something to snack on, like chips! How do you even know it's late enough to go to bed? With that boulder blocking the cave entrance, I can't even see outside. Last time I looked out there, I couldn't even see fifty stars in the sky! And how am I supposed to sleep in this cave? Are there even any blankets around here? And what about the matron? She'd have a fit if she found out I was having a sleepover without her permission! I guess you could all pretend to be certified foalsitters and pretend you were just taking care of me the whole time, but you'd need to feed me chips to do something like that. And I can't fall asleep unless somepony reads me a bedtime story, and it can't be anything scary either! It has to be a good story where all the good ponies get what they want, like chips and fruit punch! I also wanted to sleep upside down today, like I was a bat pony! Any idea how I would attatch my feet to the cieling? Do you think I could drink punch while I was upside down? *blah blah yada yada*"

Despite her unhealthy obsession with chips and punch, it would probably only take 5 minutes of this rambling before she would get bored and doze off.

Radiovid simply smirked slyly at Breaker as he continued to act like a child still afraid of the shadows around him. There were so many ways to get back at him for being so judgemental and paranoid, but instead, walked further into the cave after one of the Peace brothers. Finding a good spot, he set himself down for a short nap.

Everyone dozes asleep in the closed cave. Now hours has passed by, the sun has rose over the horizon. However the cave was still dark since hardly much of the light can shine through the small holes at the sealed entrance, and the campfire was out. Not much after the sun rises, some ponies begin to wake up.

*stretching and whispers to himself* Oh mane. I wish it was my house. Forgot I am in the past.

Maple was still outside not really tired "man morning already"

Gracie was up early and exploring all the nooks and cranies of the cave. She was somewhere near the back, sniffing what appeared to be a small rock with tiny legs. "Hey! I found a bug! It's a rock bug or something! Look at it crawling around! Hey, bug! I'm going to call you "Rocky", because you look like a rock and all. Would you like to be my friend? I'll take really good care of you and feed you lots of... whatever it is you eat! Maybe other rocks? Don't worry, then! There are plenty of rocks for you to munch on in this cave!"

Gracie repeatedly nudged the rock bug on the side to see how it would react. It slowly kept moving, paying little heed to the curious philly.

Nocturna stood outside, as she went there sometime during the night and didn't care to go back in. She seems deep in thought, a frown of sadness upon her face.

"That, little one, would be an engorged tick." Said Breaker's voice not too far from the filly investigating the small bug. "They don't eat rocks. And unless you like mosquitoes, you won't like them, either."
His expression was entirely one of stone as he regarded Gracie with a cold yet surprisingly non-hostile stare.

"G'mornin'." Illusion's voice was heard saying to Nocturna as he wandered outside, letting out a huge yawn. For the time being, he didn't seem to notice her state of apparent melancholy.

Hmm? Looks like everyone is awake.

He gets up, looking around for something to eat.
Hmm... what to eat? Not sure if there is any around here *looking around*

"I've got nothing" maple sighed getting up but as he got up the signs of sleep were showing on his face.

"Good morning Illusion, I hope you had a restful sleep." Nocturna says, looking towards the cave. "Everyone awake already? That's surprising if so." She continues.

*Getting up* Hmm? Ah I forgot we are in the past. Mane the bed felt so good. So... what do we eat?
Uh... good question. Would be a risk going out to get food. Also I don't know what kind of money they use in the past.

Well... let's get ready.

Gracie heard the reply from Breaker, but she became too distracted by Breaker himself to listen. It was him! That pony who said mean things to her! He was staring at her... and talking to her at the same time! Gracie spent a few seconds trying to figure out how she should react to his presence. All she could really manage was returning his stare, except far more intimidated. She remembered the time she told herself that she wouldn't talk to him unless he said something nice to her. However, he was talking to her, and failing to reply would've been rude. But Gracie had little idea what to tell him without insinuating that he wasn't very favorable with her at the moment.

Apparently she managed to utter the following:

"You-- woowoo raaaaaaaah naamma uhhh. I do-- doooooow I dow bad BAD! Aaaieeeeeee!!"

After that, she galloped away from him and hid behind the closest pony, who happened to be Peacekeeper. She peered at Breaker from behind her new shield.

"Yeah, well... Normally, I'd still be snoozing, but brother's the kind of person that prefers waking up bright and early, and he insisted on waking me." Illusion let out another yawn. "What I wouldn't give for a bed or even a bedroll... On top of the wake-up call, I hardly got any sleep... Stone is NOT comfortable..."

His ears perked up upon hearing something that sounded like a filly screaming. Letting out a sigh, he returned into the cavern to see what was happening.

*Inside*

"Uh..." Was pretty much all Breaker could manage, staring blankly as the small Pegasus yelled something in mostly gibberish and ran off, hiding behind one of the Peace brothers.
"Breaker, what did you do this time? I thought we talked about this!" He heard his brother saying. "I was being sociable." Was Breaker's response.

Illusion looked to the Filly hiding behind Peacekeeper, then back to his brother.

"Sociable indeed." He deadpanned.

Radiovid watched the entire scene between Breaker and Gracie play out, holding back a laugh as the filly freaked out and hid behind Peacekeeper. Allowing himself a chuckle as Breakers brother came back and jumped to the worst conclusion, he decided to speak up as well. "You're just the life of the party, aren't you?" He noted sarcastically, a small smirk on his face.

"It's like a big brother and little sister, quite adorable to me" Nocturna says, chuckling.

Hey, wha? *Looks around and sees Gracie hiding*
You hiding from someone?

When Peacekeeper addressed her, Gracie glanced up at him and her expression brightened up. It was as though she didn't realize that she had chosen him as a hiding spot. In fact, her train of thought got broken and she almost forgot that she was hiding. "Oh! Right! Hello hello! What are we doing today, Mr. Foalsitter? Can we go to the park today? I know this really nice spot with lots of flowers and--"

She interrupted herself, remembering that she was most recently upset about something. She shook her head violently in an attempt to retain her grasp on what was currently going on. Her eyes quickly relocated on Breaker and squinted at him subtely. She whispered to Peacekeeper, "Him him! He told me I was all sorts of bad things! He said I was threatening and and (failing to recall the things he called her) and MEAN and not brave! He even told me I wasn't a real filly! He made me feel really bad! You'll stand up for me, won't you? I-I'm not scared of him, but maybe he'll listen to you, so tell him to be nice to me, okay? Oh... and I need some chips too. And punch. I'm hungry!"

*To Gracie in a low voice* Well... it make take time for him to get used to you. I don't think he is comfortable with a lot of other ponies. Give it some time, and I think he be okay. I'll help you if he were to do anything to you.

Same here. I know how to make chips actually, or some fries. We just need potatoes and oil.

"You, shut it! Not interested in your drivel!" Breaker snapped at the bat-pony.

Illusion just sighed. "Did you try apologizing for... Whatever?" "I'm not going to apologize to-" "Not him!" He interrupted as his brother had begun to motion towards the bat-pony.
"What, the filly? There's nothing to apologize for!" "Then why's she whispering about what I assume to be you?"

Breaker glanced towards Gracie's hiding spot, eyes narrowing as he saw her muttering something to Peacekeeper.
"Because she thinks I eat fillies like her for breakfast. Not happening, brother, I'm just not doing it."

"Oh, come on! You could say sorry to a vampony - A vampony! - but not an innocent little filly?!"
There was silence for a few seconds. "You're not... Sweet on Noc-" "NO." Breaker said firmly. "She stuck her neck out for us, put her life on the line for our sake. The filly, on the other hand, hasn't. We don't even know if she's all that innocent, either."
Illusion face-hoofed. "This again?! For Bullion's sake, what do you think she's gonna do to us?! Poke somepony with a sharp stick when nopony's looking?" He asked. Breaker answered in a completely serious tone. "Yes."

Illusion groaned in frustration. "You are just the WORST!"

"I'd be a lot more caring if it didn't sound like an old married couple around here" Nocturna says to breaker and illusion. She then trots to the filly. "Just so you know, he's actually a big softie under all of that. He doesn't know how to respond to young mares/fillies, hardly stallions." She says, just loud enough for Breaker to overhear.

After hearing what Peacekeeper and Nocturna had to say, Gracie Sky blankly stared at the ground as the gears in her head began turning. The only words that managed to hold her attention were "not comfortable with" and "doesn't know how to respond". Even the word chips sailed over her head as she began connecting the dots. All these words meant something very important regarding that mean pony she was hiding from.

After a few seconds, she came up with the most convoluted conclusion her simple logic could muster.

"He must be scared of me!" she quietly whispered to herself. "That's why he called me threatening! That's why he called me intimidating (incorrectly recalling who called who intimidating)! I can't let him be scared of me, I have to do something! Oh! I have a terrific idea! I'll be less scary to him, so he'll be more comfortable with me and maybe even be nice to me! If he doesn't know how to respond to me, I can teach him! I know exactly how I like ponies responding to me! This is going to be the best idea in the history of best ideas!"

Then her eyes found Breaker again, causing her to instinctively tense up. How in Equestria was she going to do this if the mere sight of him made her uneasy? She had no immediate plan, but that never stopped her before. Without thinking about it any more, she started galloping back to Breaker. When she reached him, she awkwardly stood in front of him, trying her hardest not to look intimidated. She did eventually attempt to talk to him as well.

"... I... like... um... ideas. That are good. And I have one. An idea, I mean. And it's good. The idea, I mean. The idea is good... ... ..."

She began really wishing she could remember what the good idea was again.

Both stallions froze upon Nocturna interrupting what was probably going to be a raging argument. Breaker rolled his eyes, and Illusion just scoffed.
"WHAT?! How dare y- MPH!" Breaker had burst out upon hearing just a little of what Nocturna was muttering, before a hoof was shoved into his mouth to silence him.

"Don't." Illusion had muttered to him before removing his hoof.

Before long, Breaker had found himself looking down at Gracie trying to talk to him. It didn't help that the lighting had made it so his shadow was cast over her, making his appearance even more intimidating despite him genuinely trying not to be.
"I... prefer good ideas too..." He awkwardly stated. Glancing towards Illusion, Breaker saw him motioning for him to continue. "And... I... Like your... Mane?"

Another glance; his brother was nodding, but still making the motions.

He uncomfortably cleared his throat. "Yes, your mane... Green... Green is a good color for you. Let nopony tell you otherwise."

Maple chuckled from the corner where he was now standing next to the bat pony

*to Keeper* Please don't tell you gonna foal sit her?
Uh... she just wants to hide behind me and wants chips
*Facehoofing* Oh my Celestia. You can't even take care of your nephew at home. Besides, she is older than the kids.

Peacekeeper stays silent, unsure of what to say.

For a moment, Gracie Sky forgot that she was being addressed by Breaker and twirled around once. "I know! Green is my favorite color and I'm really glad that my mane is green! Of course, I don't think I've ever had another pony tell me that my hair was a different color not green, but sometimes I can't see my hair, since it's always behind my head, so sometimes I can't give it all the attention others give it, which kind of makes me sad sometimes, but if it were in front of my head, it'd probably get in the way of my eyes and I wouldn't be able to see whatever else was in front of me, so I guess it's okay that my mane is behind my head."

After that completely necessary run on sentence, Gracie realized that she just casually spoke with Breaker. Or perhaps she subconcsiously responded to the hesitantly kind thing he said about her. Either way, it appeared that it was possible for her to happily talk with this pony, now she just needed to figure out how to do it again!

"Hey! That was fun! Say something about my mane again! No... no wait! I need to say something good about you first! Um... um... Ooh! I know! You cast very... magnificient shadows! Yeah! You're very good at blocking the sun, and that's useful on days where the sun is really hot!"

"This reminds me of my foa-" Nocturna begins, changing the topic quickly after she said that. "So we need to figure out our plan for getting past the castle defenses" She says, hoping nobody heard the initial statement.

I was referring to others saying it doesn't suit you, but that works too... Breaker had thought to himself, trying to keep up with how fast the filly was speaking. Rather excitable, but no worse than brother after entirely too much sugar... Thank Platinum...

"Ah, yes... My shadow. I've not been complimented on that very often. Sadly, the sun's not been very hot these days, on account of the accursed weather we've been getting these..." He stopped short, immediately changing the subject. "But enough of that. Your mane... Is... In a very interesting style; for not giving it much attention as you say, it does look well cared for."

He could hear Illusion struggling to hold back his chuckling, and mentally cursed his name.

And speaking of Illusion...

"Magical protections shouldn't be an issue." He'd said, appearing almost instantly at Nocturna's side upon her mentioning a plan. Either he didn't hear her previous interrupted sentence or was not willing to pry. Either way, he didn't mention it. "There's a reason my brother's called Spell-Breaker, after all. He's pretty good at breaking down magic; Both in an analytical way, and the obvious way."

"That'll help us in the vault-esque area, indeed. However, getting in we would need to try not to gain attention," Nocturna explains. "Believe me when I say that drawing attention to yourself too quickly leads to a good bit of problems to befall upon you, if you have forgotten how you now hold the key to getting back home."

I got an idea if ya guys want to go in. What I can do is transmit to one of you. I am able sense magic to "pull" myself to you. My idea was that one of you go inside, and once one of you are clear, I can bring 2 ponies at a time to teleport. It also makes no poofing sound, so nopony can hear us.

It does sound dangerous, but guess we got no choice if we want to go back home.

"That's the best way to go about it, probably. Unless someone wants to try to convince the guards to let you in, there should be a way to sneak in. I'll scope the place once we get there, and see what they've fixed and what they haven't." Nocturna says, thinking both aloud and to herself. She ponders if the batpony or Breaker had heard the original statement, but decides it's pretty unlikely, and that she would deal with it later even so. "If we're lucky, the passageway I used for my escape may still be open, and it bypasses all the entrance security." She continues.

*Mystic Bliss sits there listening* (hmm i need to listen to all of this i seems to be important.) the thinks to herself

Maple had been listening to everything that had been said even bits that had slipped by everyone else. He didn't know how useful he was with only one eye .

"Any questions?" Nocturna inquires, looking around. She notices maple and thinks he might've heard it as well, but tries to shake it off as just paranoia. She made a mental note to check later if he(it?) doesn't bring it up.

Uh I do. I wonder how are we all gonna travel over there to the ruins from here without getting noticed? We have a lot here, and we are all different types. If we get noticed by the tribes, they surely be angry at us.

"Easy, we stay off the main roads. Nopony wants to risk getting lost, after all. All we'd have to do is not get lost ourselves."
Illusion glanced around. "Besides... Even if we're seen, there's ways of making ponies forget certain things." He said, adding in an unnecessarily creepy chuckle.

*Aren't we during the time where they aren't ruins? If so, then that means Nocturna could probably point out they aren't ruins

*-Oh wait that is right. In this current time the castle wasn't known as the ruins, so the past ponies, like Nocturna, would point it out.

"I assume by ruins you mean the castle, and I assume why you know it as ruins is for another time. In any case, Illusion is correct. The pathway though is relatively hidden away, and no patrols ever navigate it. Unless they've done patrolling updates, then we're clear for going to there." Nocturna explains.

Oh, sorry about that. I meant the castle.

Gracie jumped a few times in place gleefully in response to the second wave of praise and it was almost more than she could cope with. A blush was imminent, so she began running around the cave, squealing giddily.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hahahaha!"

About around that time, she saw a lot of ponies hanging around the same spot, talking about something. Of course she had to join the conversation! She snuck in right behind Nocturna and stood in the middle of everypony, smiling brightfully!

"Hi, everypony! My name is Gracie Sky! What are we talking about? I heard the word "castle", so does that mean we're building a castle? I think that's a really good idea! It sure beats this cave! I'm not really good at building, though, so I think I'll just watch."

Radiovid raised an eyebrow slightly at Nocturna's offhoof comment, but remained quiet about it, quietly listening in on the plan the others devised to get themselves into the castle in order to the poonies of the past back to their proper time. "And what of the spell itself and the rest of us getting back out? I doubt a spell powerful enough to send all of you through time itself will go unnoticed."

Maple bent down to Gracie giveing her a smile "your right a castle would be nice, in fact even better then this cave"

Hmm that's right. Not sure if we all will go back to the future and bringing ya guys with us. If us future ponies only go to the past and the spell is heard, ya guys would be caught.

Yea. Ya guys will be sacrificing your lives. I really don't want ya guys to suffer just for us. How bout this, we can get the book, and then we escape somewhere where it is silent, and we cast the spell right there.

"Uh..." Was pretty much all Breaker could muster upon seeing the little filly almost bouncing off the walls with joy. Believing his work was done, he discreetly moved over to where his brother just so happened to be.

"How about this..." Illusion began. "We sneak in, grab the book, get out, and you copy the spell down before you try anything."
Breaker, knowing precisely what his brother was up to, nodded. "Assuming you're reading it directly from the book, there's a possibility you'll end up taking the whole tome with you, or should the attempt fail, damage it. Writing it down on a scroll and reading from that will effectively eliminate the chance of losing the spell."

Gracie almost instantaneously lost her enthusiasm when the other ponies continued their conversation without paying much heed to her deliberate attempts to distract them. Perhaps their discussion was more important than her desire to watch a castle being built. Regardless, Gracie lowered her ears and slowly backed away. She wandered to Maple's locations, seeing as he was the only pony who acknowledged that she said anything.

"They must be talking about some super important grown-up stuff, aren't they? I don't understand all this "magic" and "future" stuff they keep bringing up, so I should probably keep my nose out of it. Ugh... I wish I was smart like a grown-up, so I wouldn't be so confused all the time and be able to talk to them about... that complicated-sounding magic stuff. How long are they going to talk, anyway? What are we even doing here? When are we going back to Canterlot? I've never been away from my group for two whole days! I'm so loooooooooooooost!!"

Gracie laid down and buried her face in her hooves, hoping she would wake up from this dream where she was lost.

"You do know the reason we're actually going, right? It's to get to a certain room that has the conditions set for varying spells, including this one. All the material spell-wise is within the journal you already have." Nocturna states once more, wondering if they even realize that if it failed and they needed to escape, she has done so before.

So the spell is in that journal, right? Alright then, so we just go to a special room to do magic?

"Basically correct, yep." Nocturna replies.

Hmm I see. Alright, so that is the plan.
I got one question. Can we eat? I am hungry.

"Sure, do you want the Poison Joke Salad, or the Timberwolf Grass Stick?" Nocturna replies, laughing. "Jokes aside, I believe you ponies wrecked my food rations, and you'd all be suicidal to attempt to go back into the village, not only because of distance, but because you'd all be on Wanted Posters there, like myself." She states.

Maple put his hoof up"and why couldnt I go into the town besides I look the part"

Oof. Looks like you are really in hot water.
Hmm... the only pony that can grow food are Earth. The only one here that is Earth is... Maple. My brother can help with the rain and Ima see what spell I can do to help grow food.

"Waaiiit..." Illusion began. "You're overreacting, Nocty. Everypony's suspicious, but they don't outright hate each other. For the most part. To assume they're on the wanted posters when I doubt they'd been seen much at all... Yeah, that just doesn't sound right to me."

*Note to self, remember who went or not. I completely screwed that up, my apologies. Continue with instead Nocturna stating that none of the group she traversed with could go, but that it's quite unsafe for the future ponies to go there alone.

"so I can't go then " maple asked questioning

Yea. Oh wait... I know I am a pegasus, but this shirt helps hide my wings. One thing Maple is you gotta hide your robot eye. Here, you can use this cloth like a eye patch.

Good idea. Funny how it tricks others.

Maple sighs"I guess it is broken"  he took the fabric and placed it over his eye bidding it completely

Don't worry too much Maple. I think we may find a piece of glass that we can use to make into a lense.

Now, I think we need one of you ponies of this time. I am not sure of what to say to a merchent of this time. Just don't wanna get in trouble saying something wrong, ya know?

"alright who wants to join me,because I'm most likely to get very mad at some poor merchant"

Uh... well... I go with ya.

Overcome with boredom, Gracie Sky slipped outside. She figured that it was very unlikely that they would notice her step out, since they apparently didn't notice her when she was actively trying to talk to them. She was hoping the others would do something rather than just talk about all this stuff she was totally clueless on. If she weren't so lost, she'd probably go look for Canterlot herself!

It was partially cloudy outside, but there were nice patches of sunshine here and there. Gracie loved laying in the sunshine, so the sight of it made her smile briefly. She also noticed several patches of grass scattered around. Wild grass generally didn't sit well with Gracie, but it didn't sound like there was much promise of better food from the ponies in the cave. Gracie was also hoping to see something interesting, like a bird or a chipmunk wandering around outside. She loved cute animals! But... she didn't see any from where she was.

Gracie wandered over to the closest patch of wild grass and started sniffing it. It smelled terrible! Like stale bread terrible! She decided to just wait it out and hope somepony knew how to cook or something. Gracie then wandered into the closest patch of sunshine and closed her eyes softly. At least the sun was as comforting as she remembered!

Gracie's ears twitched as she heard what she thought was something akin a small snap... and some rustling, but the sound was faint and far off. Gracie stared in the direction of the sound, but she didn't see anything out of the ordinary. She then focused on trying to hear for something, but there was no sound. At all. She began to find the silence a bit unnerving, like she was being watched or something. She could have just been imagingin things, though.

For some disturbing reason, she began wondering exactly how far away from the cave entrance she had wandered. Without making any sudden moves, she took a subtle glance back at the cave, which was about 20 yards from her position.

"With one of us, you'll never get out of there. Effectively take how we communicate, and utilize it while speaking to them. You can also just be silent, nodding and pointing. Either works great." Nocturna states, looking them over. "Try a brown cloak, and I'm going to remain as backup on the outskirts of the village in case they suspect anything." She continues.

"man I hate cloaks they make ponies look weird" he groaned placeing the cloak on himself

Okay. We will try our best. Let's go. *Walking out the cave*

*To Gracie while walking odd to the village* Hey, uh... *blushes in embarrassment*

Gracie's train of thought was interrupted by Peacekeeper as he attempted to greet her. It looked like they were finally going to do something! Hopefully whatever it was got her back to Canterlot too!

"Hi!" Gracie replied cheerfully. "I was just enjoying the sun! But this place is a bit wierd. It's so quiet and the air seems thick. Why aren't there any birds chirping or anything like that? Where are we, anyway? The grass here is all nasty and I hate nasty grass. Hopefully we're going somewhere to get a hayburger!"

Peacekeeper doesn't want to say what is really happening as it will worry her, so he tries sugarcoating the situation.

Well... right now it is a bit too early for the birds and everypony else, so the probably be still sleepy.

Sometime later on we all gonna go somewhere. Ima bring some food back. Not sure how or where to make haburgers, but I know how to make home made potato chips and hay fries. You can come if you like, but be careful. It is best you wrap my cape around you so it hides your wings.

Inside the cave...
Hey you two. I was wondering how ya guys could hide your horn. I wanna know how to do that.

Gracie tilts her head, slightly confused. "Why do I need to hide my wings?"

Maple looked at peace  "well you better tell here what's going on then"

Well Gracie. We are going to a store to buy food. The problem is that there is a pony that doesn't like ponies with wings or a horn. So I think it is best to hide them. So we don't make him cranky.

"Us?" Illusion asked the unicorn brother, Maker. "It's my work, a spell of my own invention. I weaved an enchantment into our cloaks to hide our horns. I doubt you'd be able to pull it off, though, it's a real tough thing to cast. Oh, sure, any common unicorn has enough raw magic, albeit perhaps barely, but the casting requires a sort of finesse, and a lot of it. And even then, it's tailored specifically to the unicorn it was intended for; For example, me wearing Breaker's cloak wouldn't do anything except make me look ominous. Now, if you had a cloak, one with a hood, I could probably enchant it for you, given some time."

Hmm I see. I should try to practice doing that. I wanna trick others that I am an earth pony. My brother tricks everyone he is one with his shirt. Now by hiding my horn, it will be funny.

"Doesn't like ponies with wings or horns?" Gracie repeated. She placed a hoof on her chin as she perplexed. It was clear she didn't seem to agree with the concept. "So you want us to pretend to be somepony we aren't? Isn't that like... lying? I was told never to do something like that. Of course I don't want to make the store pony upset, but something still feels wrong about doing something like this. Are you sure we couldn't just... get along with him?"

Unfortunately no. He just doesnt like pony of other types. So we do have to hide our wings. I mean you can still be yourself, just keep the wings hidden. It is a little lying, but it couldn't hurt so that the merchant is happy to see us.

Maple was growing impatient mostly because his right. Side was a blind spot due to the eye patch "we good to go, because I'm starting to get nervous"

Gracie frowned for a short moment, but slowly nodded. "Okay, then..."

She grabbed the cloak and flung it over her wings and tied it around her neck. She looked back at the cloak and fluttered her wings slightly to see how the cloak would react to it. "Are you sure these cloaks are going to hide our wings?"

It will kinda. Just try not to open them so it doesn't look like a bulge. I think you can tie it a bit more around the body. Here is a rope. I'll help you tie it around. *tries tying the rope around the torso*

"I'm going to go on ahead to the cliffside looking over the village. I'll watch for any trouble, but in the event trouble occurs that I don't see, send a sign up into the air." Nocturna explains, trotting out of the cave to the cliffside path.

Alrights thank you Nocturna. Alright ponies, let's move. Hope it goes well.

"yeah lets hope you being there doesn't cause any unrest" he commented looking nervous

Yea. Let's hope for the best.

*walking on the road, starting to see a small village*
Wow. Can't believe the buildings look like this 1000 years ago. Well... let's do this. *manning up*

maple takes a deep breath"yep lets " walks in front of  keeper so the village sees him first

*while looking around* Ah, that must be the produce stand. Hope these clothes help out.
*approaches the counter*

The green pony is adding some apples and potatoes on the shelf, looking as if calm. She then looks towards the group with a face that seems normal and descent, but also tries to check for any appendages or other clues of being a pony other than earth.

Hello. What would you like?

"Hello there me and my compatriot friend here are looking for some vegetables for a stew ,what do you have in stock" he asked in a kind of friendly manner

*Looking closely at Maple, and calms herself down from suspicion. Hmm... we got carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, and cauliflower. They are 1 bit each. For carrots, it is 3 for 1 bit.

looks over at peace."what do you think?"

Hmm... well for Gracie we can take potatoes. We do chips for her and probably fries as well. We can do stew as well. We got like 15 bits on us. Well... let's also take a couple apples, too.

"alright sounds good ill take 5 potatoes,3 apples and 2 carrots" he finishes handing over the amount of bits

*Taking the bits and hands over the items* Thank you sir. Have a nice day, and watch out for those other ponies out there. Those pegasi like to steal our produce. And those unicorns can be sneaky as well. Oh, and be really aware of that vampony. She is a danger to us all.

"I'll be watchful thanks for the warning" he smiled at the merchant turning  around and heading back to the cave

Hmm... guess the ponies of other types are mean to each other. And what she said about Nocturna. She said she is a danger to everypony. Hmm... Not sure if that is true or just don't give her a chance.

Well... for now we have the supplies. We can now eat up so we can finally go to that ruins, or castle in this time. I really miss our time.

"I don't know this place is kinda cool"

Yea, it kinda does, but too bad it is hostile here. Well... I mean I wish to help, but I don't want to mess with the timeline.

*approaching the cave* Well... we are here.

Out of nowhere came a green and yellow blur that tackled Peacekeeper, more specifically the sack he was carrying.

"Yay! You're back! What did you bring me? Why did you leave me behind anyway? I promised that I wouldn't flap my wings all over the place like I normally do. Wait... right! I didn't like that old cape and hiding my wings and all that bad stuff! I followed you anyway, though, but then I got lost, so I just came back and waited on top of the boulder! So did you bring me hayburgers? Where are the hayburgers? You promised me hayburgers! I'm so hungry, I could eat a bear made out of hayburgers!"

Gracie continued shuffling through the contents of the bag, not finding hayburgers.

Breaker, who had attempted to keep up with Gracie's mile-a-minute speech pattern in an attempt to... not be in her eyes a "meanie", turned to his brother in confusion. "What in Platinum's name is a hayburger...?"
Illusion gave him a knowing look. "Future junk food I'm guessing. Less healthy, more fattening, that sort of thing. Speaking of which..."

The smaller unicorn brother's horn glowed green as he pried Gracie away from the bag that had their food.

"Miss Gracie...? I'm afraid I have some bad news. You may want to take a seat..." He said, his expression unreadable, though judging by the hesitation in his speech, whatever he had to say couldn't be good.

He waited only for a few seconds before continuing. "The bad news, kiddo, is that... Well..."

Illusion paused again, trying to find the right words.

"There is no such thing as hayburgers. Not now, and probably not for a LONG time."

Nocturna walks over to Peace Keeper. "Who sold you the produce? Decent deal it seems," She inquires.

*To Gracie* Sorry there are no haburgers. I got some potatoes that we can make fries and chips with. We just need to squeeze the oil from those nuts in the tree and put em in a bowl. Then we boil it up, and pick it out tith a spatula. And there you go. Well... Maple is gonna help make stew with the potatoes carrots and apples.
*checking the products* They look good. Too bad I ca't hide my horn. I could find the better ones if there were. Oh well, lemme get those nuts so we ca have the oil. *walks to the trees, levitating down nuts*

*Then hears Nocturna and responds* Uh it was a green mare. She kinda looked like she was staring at me. She was comfortable with Maple, but yea she sounds liie she don't trust any pony other than earth, and said especially the vampony, which I guess it probably be you. Why did she want us to be super careful from you? You don't seem mean at all.

"yeah I was going to ask the same thing" he commented as he searched the supplies in the cave for a pot

"N-no hayburgers?" Gracie questioned, her ears drooping sadly. She looked at the food that Peacekeeper brought, wondering why there were no hayburgers and what she should do about it. Suddenly, a brilliant idea popped up in her head. "Ooh! I know! I know I know I know! Let's invent one! I'm a pretty good inventor and I think I remember what a hayburger taste like, so we just need to reproduce it! The first ingredient is probably hay, since it's called a hayburger... but... it doesn't look like you got any hay. Where does hay come from anyway? I think they mentioned it in school, but I forgot... but other than that, we'll also need two buns! You didn't get any bread either, though!"

Gracie began eyeballing the ingredients suspiciously at this point. "What exactly are we supposed to make with this food? Are these just snacks or something, because I've never heard of a dish that uses apples, carrots, and potatoes. Maybe a... uh... a salad? Without the lettuce, of course... Err... That apple could really use some caramel! And and that potato! I could make a potatoburger out of that! It just needs some of that... red stuff that kinda tastes like tomatoes. Why didn't we get any tomatoes? Ooh, what about--"

Gracie spent the next few minutes talking out loud to herself about her food theories and preferences.

"Potatoes, hm? I could make something out of that..." Breaker said. "What about salt?" Illusion then asked. "Everypony knows you shouldn't eat potato raw or without anything on it, after all."

"...Greenlight..." Nocturna says angrily, fangs out. "I remember that mare, and I know why she says that." She continues, her face in a scowl. "She deserved all of it.." She adds, slightly quieter.

Maple looks up senseing hostility in the mare voice the pot in his hoof

Wait... what do you mean? Did you do something to her that made you public enemy? Or did she do something to you that you got revenge?

*Coming back into the cave* These nuts look good. Well... we could try reinventing the hayburger, but we can't tell it to anyone if you don't want to mess up our future. Also if we gonna make bread, we could have brought some.
*Squeezung the nuts between two grinding rocks* Well what you like, chips or fries? or we can do hash browns. Hmm... theres a little bit, but good enough for everyone to eat.

Nocturna remains silent, going outside the cave to the nearby cliffside, overlooking the land. She lays down with her tail around her, sadness now present in place of the anger, tears running down her face.

Gracie was becoming more and more unsettled about the items that were bought. "How come you didn't buy more apples? I wanted a whole apple to myself! How is this supposed to be enough to feed all of us? There must be like 8 of us sharing all of this, and this will only last us until like... lunch time! Unless we already passed lunch... can I just have an apple? And a potato too? And maybe even a carrot? Just one of each!"

Oh... okay... guess you don't wanna... say... I guess. We call you when the food is ready.

Inside...
Just hold up. We got enough for us, just give us some time. Sorry, but this is the best we can get. We didn't brought much money. Besides, we conna make you some chips and fries, or hashbrowns if you want.

Alright, got the oil done. Kinda has crums in it, but good enough. Hope none of y'all are allergic to nuts. Guess we can get a rock to put over the fire so we can heat it and start cooking. *gathers a flat stone and some thick broken branches*

"Starbright..I'm so sorry..." Nocturna laments, looking around, knowing one of them will probably come looking for her

Greenlight..I'll never forgive you..

"Nocty's been acting a bit funny... And not in the ha-ha variety." Illusion muttered. He turned to his brother. "I'm gonna go see what's up. Make sure your new friend doesn't devour all our supplies, okay?" "She's not-" A hard glare shut the larger unicorn up as he sighed. "Fine. Go, do what you need."

Illusion nodded, and without a word, he walked off in the direction he last remembered Nocturna going off to.

*A little later...*

Illusion wasn't exactly one for eavesdropping. Even though it was somewhere in the job description that he needed to be good at doing such things, he didn't exactly have a taste for it.
Even now, hiding behind a tree near the cliffside, he couldn't help but feel ashamed for spying on someone he should consider an ally, especially when they seemed to be in sorrow.

Starbright...? Sounds like a unicorn name... A lover, perhaps? Would explain the lamenting. Then again, they could've just been friends or even acquaintances... I can't just outright ask her, though. That would be just plain rude! Er, more-so than the whole eavesdropping thing... Maybe...

Shaking his head, he emerged from his hiding spot. Maybe he could act as if he'd just arrived? With this plan in mind, he cleared his throat, silently praying that he not give himself away somehow.
"Hey, Nocty? You alright there? I was getting worried. I mean, it's not safe for anypony to walk off all alone, not with this little group we've formed... On another note, you feelin' alright? You're looking a little down."

"Depends on your definition, I suppose. I apologize, that mare fuels an old fire within my soul, from the wound she created within it." Nocturna says, beating around the bush noticeably. "Shouldn't you be helping the others? I won't be much help."

Placing the bowl of oil over the fire being held by branches, Peacemaker places the chips and fries in it waiting to boil.

Alright every pony, y'all gotta be careful with the bowl. It is super hot and you can get burned badly. We will wait it a few minutes for it to finish.

Peacekeeper looks around and sees Nocturnal and Illusion and lays somewhere near them to overhear the conversation.

Illusion waved away the question. "How many unicorns could they possibly need? I'm not a chef."

He simply sat there for what seemed like hours, the tension becoming thick to the point one could probably cut it.
"Look..." The unicorn said. "I'll be blunt... I can see from the dampness on your face that you've been crying. I can take a hint, so I won't pry. I just want you to know that if you ever need anything, anything at all, we'll be there to help. Or at least I will."

Gracie Sky hovered over the bubbling oil, wondering what exactly was going on in that bowl. She could tell it was hot, but that was about it.

"Why does this oil need to be hot? Why did you put the chips in there? Aren't they going to get burned? Is this really how chips are made? How did you get oil out of nuts? Can I taste one? Eep!"

Some oil from the bowl splattered out, almost causing a drop to splash onto Gracie. Thankfully, she was able to evade it in time by jumping up and flying. However, the experience made her even more curious, since she didn't know why the oil splashed out at her. She quickly resumed hovering over the bowl intensely.

Nocturna sighs. "Starbright was my foal, and despite her name, she was actually a Pegasus, though she acted somewhat like a unicorn. Greenlight, whom I trusted at the time, said she'd take care of the foal, and keep her safe, as I could not. I come to find out that Greenlight had purposefully gotten Starbright killed, as she didn't care like she said." Nocturna shudders, a frown on her face. "I retaliated against her, wanting her to feel the same pain I felt. Sadly, the protective force of the village received an anonymous tip of what was going on, so I couldn't do much before they found me. From that point, I ran away. Happy?" She continues, tears threatening to escape once more.

While the unicorn's expression did little except form into a slight frown, a strange darkness had passed over his upper face as he bowed his head slightly, somehow hiding said upper face from view.

The shadow cast over his face disappeared a few seconds later as he looked the vampony in the eyes. But what could he say to her after all that? He was at a loss.
"I... I have no words. What this pony- Nay, this... Fiend, did... It... It's unforgivable! I-I'm sorry, it was never my intention to make you relive such painful memories..."

"You simply showed care and wanted to talk to me, no wrong did you do. You did what was right, even if this did occur.." Nocturna replies. "Now you know that though, you're one of the few I've trusted with that." She continues, looking around again, feeling as though they're being watched.

As Peacekeeper listens, his heart dropped of the loss, though he sometimes hear of the losses from home, but the pain is worst when it has happen to someone he knows.
Wow. I didn't know ponies were more barbaric in this time. Probably the last time I come to shop her store.

Meanwhile in the cave...

Careful Gracie. That oil can burn badly. The reason it boils is cause it is super hot. Like water when it gets too hot it boils. I wish we had canola or corn, but nut is thebest we got. Might taste a bit different.

The fries and chips seem done actually. *checks the bowl* Yup. It's ready.

Peacemaker gets a spatula fork made with a couple twigs and branches and scoops up the fries and chips , shakes off the excess oil, and places them on a plate. The fries and chips look golden brown while steaming hot. The smell is about as familiar to a fast food restaurant of the future time.

Give it some time to cool cause it is super hot. Hope you like em. Guess now we can do the stew. We just need a bigger bowl.

"If there is someone listening to our conversation, go ahead and come out. Might as well deal with it now, instead of later." Nocturna states, looking around the direction of Peacekeeper.

Peacekeeper comes forward, with a mourn look on his face.

Sorry, I was just so curious on what ya guys were talking about. Didn't know it was something really sedimental. I... I know it stinks to lose someone. I would really hate to lose someone I love. Now I am just as worried being here.

"I... I see. You really trust me that much...?" Illusion briefly felt an odd sensation in his chest, but that feeling quickly vanished upon noticing Nocturna glancing around, her gaze stopping at one particular location back in the forest.

Naturally, his gaze also went there as well. Right when the Pegasus that was Peacekeeper walked out. The unicorn let out an annoyed sigh. "And I thought I was bad about eavesdropping... Did anypony follow you?"

No, just me. I just came here curiously, is all. I can leave, if you want. I just go back in the cave. *moving back slowly, turning to the cave*

"I do indeed, as you have actually shown care, assisting me in dealing with Breaker and such." Nocturna states. She sees Keeper coming out, and looks crestfallen for a moment, before adopting a neutral expression once more.

After hearing what he had said, Nocturna responds: "I assume two who know are two to keep an eye on eachother, three is when pain is inevitable. Leave not, Peacekeeper, we might as well converse amongst ourselves, now that more is out there." She continues, yawning a bit.

Well... I just didn't want to be rude. I mean it is really sad stories and... and... I try to stay happy. I feel super sorry for what happen... uh... *looks down*

"I appreciate your sentiments, though an old wound needs not treatment but time to be forgotten," Nocturna states, wiping her face from the tears that have dampened it.

"If you have questions for me, now is a good time to express them. Otherwise, we should go back to the cave before questioning of our whereabouts occur." She continues.

"I only have one thing..." Illusion said. "We know this cretin resides in town, yes? Pardon me for saying this, but... I'd have thought you'd be jumping at an opportunity for some sort of revenge."
The unicorn shifted, slightly uncomfortable with what he was saying. "Considering what she'd done, there's very few ponies that would allow such a deed to go unpunished, emotional wounds or no."

He paused for a second. "...Is that why you're not going after her? To let the proverbial wound heal?"

"Revenge was on my heart for a long time past, though I can't do so at the moment." Nocturna says. "It's for the same reason you were almost killed, among the other members of the group." She continues.

"If I would have got my way all that time ago, we probably wouldn't have food currently, so I suppose it's not all bad, currently."

As much as I really want you to have revenge, I think that is the worst thing to do, especially of it were any of you.

Maple had been trying to find the others to tell them the food was done which was when he walked on to there conversation

Gracie eagerly waited for her chips to cool, even though she only got like 4 chips. She didn't really want chips today, but she couldn't tell anypony that! She didn't need to be picky when this was all there was. She sniffed her chips a few times to gauge whether they were fit for consumption. She had honestly no idea what to look for, so she just counted to twenty before chomping down all four of them, loud crunching noises and all.

"*munch munch munch munch* ... ... Hey! These chips have no flavor! Are these plain chips? I like the cheese flavored ones! Or even nacho flavored! ... Oh! Wait! I know! Apple Chips! What if we put the apples in this oil? Will it turn into chips like the potatoes did? Can I try? Please? Just one apple!"

Gracie had already grabbed an apple in her teeth and had it dangling over the bowl of oil.

"I imagine they'd need salt." Breaker said. "Simply frying something does not always give it flavor; it usually needs seasoning of some sort. In this case, salt."
Seeing a precious apple in danger, the unicorn grabbed it with his magic and yanked it away. "That's not how you make them. If an apple is to be made into anything like those chips of yours, and still be edible, it will need to be sliced into pieces and heated until those pieces dry up. And if we had cinnamon or sugar on hoof, we could use that to add some flavor to them."

*Elsewhere...*

"Normally, I would be inclined to agree, Keeper. If the world functioned off the saying of 'an eye for an eye', then all the ponies of the world would be blind. Taken to the extreme, it's a never ending cycle of pain and misery. But... letting somepony go unpunished for so heinous a crime...? Having to do that would leave a bad taste in anypony's mouth."
After saying his part, Illusion's ears twitched as he heard movement. Maple apparently hadn't even tried to be sneaky.

"Let's continue this conversation some other time. Privacy is apparently something we don't have."

Maple walked in looking very relieved that he fond them"ah there you guys are if been looking everywhere" he smiled at the group . But as he looked over the group he noticed something was wrong with them as if they had been crying or talking about something that was sensitive but he didn't let that realization show.

Sorry we didn't brought salt. Fries do need salt, and the chips, so they are plain.
*takes one fry and eats it* They are okay. Kinda tastes a bit like nuts cause of the oil. You could try deep frying an apple, it will taste crunchy and a bit like nut, but inside it is the same apple. Lemme slice one apple slice for you. If you don't like it, you still got the rest of the apple you can eat. *slices a wedge and gives it to Gracie* Just be careful how you put it in. It is better dropping it low. Drop it too high and the oil will splatter.

Outside the cave...
*To Illusion and Nocturna* Okays we stop
*To Maple* Hi Maple. How's it going?

"oh just wanted tell you that the foods done" he replied

"We should head back to the cave then," Nocturna says.

Ah okay. Thanks. *Follows back to the cave*

As they passed maple his smile faulted as he walked behind them. Something was up and he intended to find out

Gracie brightened up when Peace handed her an apple slice. Without even thinking, she snagged it and gobbled it up, completely forgetting about frying it in the oil. It didn't seem to make any difference to her, though, as she evidently enjoyed eating the apple slice regardless of how it was prepared.

"Yummy!" she excalimed, "That should hold me until lunch... dinner... whatever the next meal is, that is! What are we going to do now? Are we going to Canterlot soon? If we don't head back soon, I think I'm going to miss the weekly storytime! It's the best part too! The matron always gets the newest Daring Doo book and Daring Doo is about to the Pyramind of Tartarus to retrieve the Focusing Triangle so she can pinpoint the final Lost Key in order to... do something important I reckon...!"

Peacemaker was shocked at how Gracie just took the slice and eats it.
So you full already? It doesn't seem that one apple slice is gonna keep you going for long. Have the whole apple so you don't go hungry.

Peacekeeper comes inside the cave.
*Sniffs air* Ooh I smell plain fries. What else we have here?

"hmm smell good in here" maple smiled as he walked in looking at the fries

"Haven't smelled proper food in quite awhile, interesting to smell." Nocturna states, hungry.

We got fries ready, and I am making a little mix of mashed potatoes and carrot slices. We got some apple slices. The potatoes and carrots should be ready soon.

Ooh neat. (Ugh... carrots in the potatoes. Yuck! but it is pretty much we can eat. Uung.)

As the others ate maple slipped away and headed towards the town hopeful to find the mare that had warned him about nocturna. As he got there he spotted her"excuse me my name's maple you sold some vegetables to me. I was hoping that you could tell me more about this vampony?"

Illusion, who had hung back behind the other two ponies, had ended up witnessing a certain other pony sneaking off. Frowning, he pulled his cloak's hood over his head, hiding his horn (via previously explained enchantment woven into the cloak) and half his face as he followed. From a VERY safe distance.
He immediately grew suspicious upon noticing he was going back to the town, as far away as it was. Maple wasn't going to rat them out, was he?

The unicorn in disguise was thankful that he wasn't exactly a wanted pony in town. Despite the scuffle he'd been in earlier today, there was no real crime he could easily be accused of.

Breaker wasn't eating the food provided, stating that he had yet to become peckish. Instead, he seemed to be growing increasingly anxious.
"Where is Illusion?" He eventually asked. "He left not too long ago searching for you, vam- Nocturna. Why is he not with you?"

"He was, however I believe he stepped back outside once more." Nocturna states, a bit confused herself.

((Btw I don't know what greenlight is going to tell me so I've kinda backed myself into a corner  X3))

*comes close to Maple* Come closer. The vampony is a curse, an evil curse. They are a burden to all pony kind, worse than the other races. They are dangerous and attempt to bite your magic. She had a younger pony with her, also a vampony, and with that I grew worry that they will grow larger in numbers and threaten all of Equestria. The little one I have seen bite numerous times at other ponies. So I had a chance to eliminate the younger one before it can take a chance of biting others to gain magic.

*showing the scar* You see this? That is what that other vampony did to me. I manage to shoo it away from me quickly. Now she lurks somewhere out there, waiting to strike again. Beware of that vampony, eliminate it if you got the chance. Don't let it bite you.

Meanwhile at the cave...
Hmm... good question. Not sure if Maple was gonna eat. He is probably outside then.
Hope he doesn't go too far. He don't wanna miss out on the food.

"thanks fir the info" maple smiled as he walked away. On the way back he bought a circle piece of glass to replace his bad one

"They sure are taking some time," Nocturna states, growing a bit suspicious of why their other group members aren't back. She hasn't eaten, just standing around.

You're not gonna eat? We got some left for ya so you can eat well.

I'm sure Maple will come back and eat.

"I will in due time, it's more important for those hungry to eat instead, in any case." Nocturna says, her stomach growling.

You sure?... o-kay then. *contitues to eat*

I just wonder how all lf you can survive here. It is hard to trust others, so how do you guys gather the food, find a home and make a living?

"I survived off of not trusting any of them. I was forced to survive on my own, so I tend to make do. The others I don't know." Nocturna replies.

"If I had to guess though, they survive off one another without thinking about it. The trust between them reaches the breaking point, yet still they subconsciously assist eachother with survival. It's a very weird circumstance." She continues.

As maple reaches the group he stops talking to himself and brights up" hey everyone I'm back"

Gracie's ears twitched to the sound of a greeting coming from Maple. She loved being greeted, even if the greeting was aimed at her specifically. The first thing on her mind was to politely return the greeting. She ran over to where she heard Maple coming from and bombarded him with her greeting... politely, of course.

"Hello! Hello! Welcome back! Where did you go, anyway? I didn't even know you were gone! Did you bring me anything? Wait! I know! I bet you brought back more apples, because we could definately use more apples around here! Or maybe you brought hayburgers, because that would hit the spot right now! Or... or... appleburgers! Eeeeeeeee!"

Without even waiting for a reply, Gracie began uncontrollably jumping around in pure excitement at the concept of eating an appleburger.

"Hello again Maple, I trust you had a pleasant time, leaving without a word," Nocturna says, eying him suspiciously. She decides not to mention the other absent pony, just in case there's a reason to his absence.

Hi Maple
Hey. Were you've been?[/color]

After the pony known as Maple entered the cavern, the other pony that just so happened to be Illusion entered about maybe a minute later. And he didn't look entirely pleased.
He gave Nocturna a glance, ever so slightly nodding his head towards Maple, hoping she'd get the hint something was up.

"So, brother... Enjoy the scenery?" Breaker asked. His brother turned to him with a sheepish grin. "Er, yeah... Wandered too far and kinda got a little lost for a bit, at least until I found Maple's tracks leading back here."

"It's good you got back safe then, Illusion." Nocturna states, nodding her head at Illusion, suspicious herself. She makes a note to talk to him later on.

Ah finished. Though I don't like carrots much, guess I got no choice but to eat em. Hope it was a good meal for all of you. So... when do you think we should start heading to the rui... eh castle?

Hold up, still eating. Besides, it is dangerous. It is not easy, even for them here. Come on, it's about as dangerous out there as it is at home in the bad neighborhoods.

"could  anypony here  please help me place this replacement glass into my eye?" he asked looking around

Eh... I'll help. So how do I put in the lense?

"it's simple just screw in the new lense , of course checking to make sure there's no debris in there " he chuckled

Oh okay. *wipes lense with his cape and attempts to screw the lense back in*
I'm surprised there is glass for the lenses, unless you crafted this yourself. Either way it is neat.

Alright. It feels it is in there well. Hope it works well.

As the lense clicks into place the screen lights up bathing the cave with red light."feels right to me"

Wow, that thing is bright. Good to know it works.

The light quickly dims to a good brightness"wow you guys look different than before"

Nocturna goes to talk with Illusion away from the others. "What happened?" She inquires.

Illusion, getting the hint on wanting to be spoken to, cleared his throat. "If you'll excuse me, brother, I believe Nocty wants a talk."
Breaker simply gave him a look. Suspicious, annoyed, the smaller unicorn really didn't know. "You've been speaking a fair amount to her." He'd said.

The tension grew for a moment. "You're quite sure you're not-" "Not at all!" Illusion denied, knowing right off the bat what he was going to say.
His brother raised an eyebrow at the hasty response, but simply sighed, letting him go off and do whatever.

Before long, he found himself speaking to, of course, Nocturna. Even being a little distance away from the others, he still felt paranoid. Giving them a quick glance, he answered the vampony's question in a hushed tone.
"Maple knows; ran off and spoke to the green one. Might want to set the record straight when possible."

"Swell, glad to hear that we now have someone like that in the group," Nocturna states, annoyed. "He should've minded his own business. Let's let him play his little game, I'll be the one to win it." She continues, a smile upon her face showing her fangs as she laughed, quietly.

Great to know it is finally working. Just be careful showing that to ponies here. Here there is no technology, so what you have would put us in danger.

Yea. Best you hide it as much as possible. I know you can see better with it, but yea we can get in trouble.

"right that is a good idea"*places cloth back over eye*

Nocturna heads back over to the rest of the group. "So what were you doing, Maple? Anything to assist in 'our' goal?" She inquires, masking her anger.

 As his eye scanned nocturna he could see her heart was beating very fast" yeah with this eye I can see  100% better then normal pony, I also bumped into that mare agian "

"Really? How interesting..." Illusion had said, popping up out of seemingly nowhere behind Maple, flashing an eerie grin. "She provided pleasant conversation, I'm assuming? A simple walk would calm anypony's nerves, but I'm surprised she would come all the way out here to take a stroll..."

His tone was perfectly innocent, but something was off about his words.

"well now that I think about I had to go buy this glass piece" he replied starting to feel something was off but not showing it

Wait... you went to that same one? The one who has a grudge against others? The one that sold us the food? Hopefully you didn't do something to endanger us.

. Did you get a marefriend per-chance? That'd be a great thing to bring back to your homeland. Or some information for your future buddies? Oh, but that wouldn't be pleasant conversation to do, given that we're of the past." Nocturna says, looking right at him.

"I don't now I I should tell you in front of everyone" he replied looking nervous about something

"And why's that?" Illusion asked, his grin fading slightly. "Come now, we're all friends here, are we not? There shouldn't be a need for such secrecy... What could she have possibly said to warrant such hesitation?"

"not telling " he smirked

"Silence speaks a thousand words of betrayal, Sir Maplewood." Nocturna states, looking at him with severe seriousness.

"yes it does yet you seam also very reluctant to tell us yours " maple says deciding to back up

"A story of a dark past is of no relevance, a story of possible betrayal in the present is." Nocturna counters, going forward as he backs up.

"and why would I betray ponies that are going to help me get out of here" he backed up even more

"That's what I want to know myself, which is why I'm saying as such." She responds.

"fine do you really want me to tell everypony here what that mare said?" he asked

Gracie was sitting around on the boulder, studying important things like the texture of the rocks. She was slightly bored, since the others were talking about things that didn't interest her. Thinking back on it, they sure did do a lot of talk and not enough playing.

However, while Gracie wasn't particularly paying attention to them, she did notice that their voices were starting to get louder and possible even hostile. This disturbed her greatly. She hated when other ponies argued.

She glanced from the top of boulder, trying to get a good look at the others. Sure enough, just from glancing at them, she could sense the unease. She glowered at them for a moment, contemplating what she should do. It was only a moment's comtemplation, though, since she had a very predictable reaction to arguing ponies.

She quickly swooped down to their level and landed next to them, her eyes clearly indicating that she wasn't happy, "Heeeeey! No being mean to each other! We're all friends right?"

I think I have an idea of what she said. Probably a warning, but pretty much expected from a pony who has aprejudice from other ponies of other types.

*noticing Gracie* Huh... Gracie... uh...Unsure of what to say*

Peacemaker hears from near the group, but as he notices the young pegasus jumping in to a hostile conversation, he keeps and eye to see if there would be any harm to her.

"Yes I would, Sir Maplewood. As would the rest of us." Nocturna responds. Noticing Gracie, she adopts a kinder response for her. "Hello little one, we're just having a discussion. It'll be over soon, trust me." She says.

maple looks nervous as he continues but does"well she said that you had a foal and that foal was also a vampony and so that why she had to......dispose of it, she also showed me where you bite her"  after finishing maple turned around and walked back into the cave

"So you snooped in on a conversation held in confidence, and dishonorably went behind our backs to a possible enemy, to converse with her about me. If this is how this is going to continue, I find no reason to continue to assist any of you, as long as you're within this group, Sir Maplewood of the 11th Royal Cyborg Special Militia of Future Equestria." Nocturna says, an icy tone of diplomacy.

"Picking on a young mare that only wants to be of assistance, you monster." She continues, staring at him, stopping his further movement.

((A bit of a sub-plot to add to the sub-plot, you could say. If you don't want what I stated, we'll rewind to before I said as such.)

*In total shock*
Wait... she did what to a foal? No wonder she has a total grudge on vamponies.

She's more than just a grudge. Crazy you Maple went to see her. Imagine she saw your eye, you probably be next. I wanna know who started first?

"how is looking for information bad"

"You're trying to use what I'm saying against me. Looking for information is great, betraying trust and going behind our backs is the opposite of your directives, and the opposite of what we need here." Nocturna replies. "I could've elaborated if you truly cared about getting information, but the fact you didn't ask me leads me to believe there was more to it." She continues.

"yes but I was still curious by the mares warning so I wanted to know more" he still had his back to them ."do you really think there's more then one of me?" he asked giveing a simple chuckle

It felt like they didn't even slow down after she told them to get along! Of course, maybe if she understood what they were talking about, this would make more sense to her. However, all she could feel was the distrust emanating from Nocturna and Maple. Gracie stepped backwards a bit, trying to formulate a new plan to get them to stop fighting. It seemed her initial idea of yelling at them wasn't effective at all. She already suspected a long time ago that she wasn't exactly the best at solving problems. She knew she was far better at making them worse.

Still, she felt obligated to try anyway. With nothing coming to mind for the time being, Gracie staggered around, thinking about taking a step forward but immediately deciding against it. She quickly glanced around to see if she would find something nearby that would give her a clue. Ah! She remembered she still had that half eaten apple Peace Keeper gave her! It's a good thing she decided to save it for later! Back at the orphanage, no matter how upset Gracie ever was, being given a free apple always seemed to brighten up her day!

Convinced by the ill-founded logic that an apple would solve this quarrel, Gracie ran between the two ponies and tried talking with them again. "Wait! Look! I brought you an apple that I was saving! I want to give it to you as a gift, but you have to promise that you'll be nice to each other! Please! We're all nice ponies, right?"

Illusion gave a glance to the Pegasus filly, made to speak, but soon shook his head.

Before long, Breaker decided to interfere, pulling her away from the quarreling pair of ponies. "Gracie... They aren't going to stop for an apple." The large unicorn had said to her upon doing so.
He remained silent for a moment. "...Do you even know what they're arguing about?"

Breaker was tempted to just tell her outright what he knew, get it out of the way. But... It just wasn't the sort of thing you could just freely tell a little filly, and he had a nasty habit of being blunt, and his attempts at sugar-coating often just made things worse.

But what good would hiding it do? If she wanted to know, if she asked, he'd tell her. Simple as that.

"Considering I've seen the whole of your militia before, and escaped from them, indeed I do." Nocturna replies. She looks at the filly, but opts for not backing down at the moment, and turns back to Maple.

"then your mistaken I'm the only cyborg out there I was built as an experiment"

As Gracie was trying to reason with the two arguing ponies, Breaker grabbed her and pulled her away from the conflict. She objected to being pulled away, but then a few things were explained to her. She wasn't following what Breaker was telling her, since her mind was still occupied with trying to stop the arguing, but she did catch onto that reminded her to ask what they were arguing about in the first place.

All it came down to now is if Gracie wanted to know such information. "Yes! I mean... no! I mean... it doesn't matter! I don't understand adults! They always seem to argue and disagree! They're like bullies to each other and I don't like bullies! And look everytime and see when ponies are mad and yell a lot, they're always sad afterwards. I don't understand why ponies want to be sad! It makes me feel sad too and I don't like being sad!"

((So much for a fun little sub-plot for character development, I suppose. Where should we go from here, since my idea got skewered, and I have very little in terms of transition now to the main story?))

A group of ponies of unknown race walk on a trail near where the camp and cave are located.


WAIT!!! I can feel a couple ponies coming over near here! Everyone hide! Close the boulder! We can't be found.
*Surprised and scared* What!? Uh... alright!
Hastingly, both brothers rush over trying to cover their tracks and seal the door as quickly and silently as possible.

As they hid maple made one last comment "of course that's what they told me so who now's"

Breaker took a few moments to decide how to word his explanation. "From what I understand, Nocturna, the grey vampony, had a foal. One day... Another pony, who I think whose name is Greenlight, she..."
"She promised to look after Nocty's kid..." Said his brother, who, believing he could play no further part in the argument, returned to Breaker's side. "Thing is, the moment Nocturna left the two alone, the pony Greenlight hurt her foal, hurt her real bad and effectively took her away from her mother, and did so in a way that she'd never see her again."

Illusion had been about to elaborate what that had to do with the argument when the unknown ponies were detected. That didn't stop him, though, as he lowered his voice to little more than a whisper while breaker rushed to seal the cavern entrance with the Peace brothers.
"Short version: Bad pony hurt Nocturna and her foal, Nocturna retaliated and got chased away, cyborg named Maple goes behind her back to speak to bad pony, Nocty gets angry about it. Bad pony also hates non earth-ponies, and Maple's speaking to her has apparently put us all in danger."

Gracie suddenly found herself being led back into the cave with Breaker and Illusion talking to her about the scenario regarding Nocturna and another pony named Greenlight. Unfortunately, 90% of the story went over her head, but she cheerfully nodded as she was being spoken to. The 10% she did retain was the word "foal" and "mother".

Gracie wasn't even sure why they all were walking into the cave. However, she was glad that finally on the move, even if they were simply going back to that wierd cave. Hopefully they weren't going in there just to argue more!

They finally closed the cave and sealed the cracks as best they can to make it incospiquous.

Shh... let's quiet down

From outside, sounding closer.

... like the camp has been there for a while. Wonder who lived there?
Not sure. Hopefully it isn't a spy. They said also a vampony be hiding in the woods. You think this is that camp?
You may never know. Some other ponies hide like that. Hey, you noticed that one pony with pieces armor around him with the covered eye?
Yea. That new Earth pony that came in?
Something seems odd about him. Also that blue pony with him and the filly. their clothing is like a strange material.
They probably from another village.
Probably. I just have a feeling that pony is hiding something under that cloth. I can tell, just like those pegasi. They think they can take our stuff with their robes. Locked them up in our dungeon for their crime.

The only thing going though maple mind was how she has known about the 11th battalion

"This is what happens I suppose. Give me a reason I should continue to assist, Sir Maplewood, and I may be able to get them away quickly." Nocturna states.

The ponies outside approaches closer.

Yea. But I just wish some pegasi were actually nice enough and not too demanding. They are all super egotistic.
I hear that. Just comes to show... wait...
The pony looks around the cliffs, hearing some rocks crumbling from the top.

*whispering*Let's talk it normally so they don't suspect us.
*back to regular* I think I just remembered to help miss Meadows with the shop. *walking around, walking around to the cliff*

Yea! I think, uh... WOAH! Ow, hit myself, need help. *trying to sound sarcastically*
Oh... what happened?
*whispering* I found some tracks.
*normal sound* I just hit my flank on the rock. Well... let's go back up.

Inside the cave...
*concentrating on sensing magic and whispering* I am sensing two of them. They are around us right now.
Hopefully they don't find us.

Gracie was sitting next to the Peace brothers, still trying to ascertain what exactly was going on and why she was brought back to the cave. She was really itching to go do something adventurous or at least in the general direction of Canterlot. She overheard one of them whispering about two ponies outside and not being found by those ponies. It was interesting enough to her to merit her own inquisition into the matter.

"Why are we hiding from them? I wanna go meet them! I bet they're good ponies!"

*whispering* They don't sound like nice ponies to other races. They said the locked a pegasus up for trying to hide their wings to take their stuff. Pretty much not pegasus-friendly at all. It's best to stay here till they leave. Then maybe we can go exploring.

Illusion had his head almost pressed against the rock that blocked the entrance, trying to hear what was going on outside. Were his eyes opened, they would've widened after hearing one of the two ponies "hit themselves".

"They know...!" He whispered as loud as he would dare. "Brother, how can you-?" Breaker tried to ask, before being interrupted.
"You know I've been a spy a lot longer than you, brother. You tell lies as often as I do, and you tend to be able to spot the bad ones...!"

((sorry for the absence))

*Mystic wakes up from a long sleep* "hey whats going on guys..... I think I over slept... sorry about that *she whispers to peace keeper and maker*

(Oh darn she woke up.) *whispering* Right now we are covering things up because I hear bad ponies outside.

Gracie frowned, still unsatisfied with hiding in this cave from the two ponies outside. Unfortunately for her, she had no idea what she could do about it. The most rational choice was to just sit by idly and wait to see what happened. However, Gracie felt a combination of restlessness and danger flood her thoughts. What exactly would happen if they were discovered? Why didn't the two ponies outside leave by now? What were they doing here in the first place? It seemed the only thing the group knew about them was that there were two of them and something about not liking Pegasi. This didn't sit well with Gracie as a means to judge these ponies as a threat. After all, she was able to recall yesterday, when she was a stranger to the group and they treated her as a threat. Now they (hopefully) knew that she wasn't threatening at all, and that there was the possibility that they weren't either.

Frustrated, Gracie glared at Peacekeeper. "How do you know they are bad? Maybe they aren't that bad! We're not even giving them a chance! If they don't like Pegasi, then maybe you can talk to them instead! We're just as suspicious as they are if we're all hiding in this cave. I don't like this! I don't! Maybe they're lost or need help. Even if they aren't all that good, we gotta at least try! If you don't want to try, then I will! Even if they don't like me for being a Pegasus, I can still try to change their minds!"

With that, Gracie attempted to move the boulder out of her way with her head, but the things are far too big for her to even budge.

*nods*  oh... ok she whispers to keeper

A great thud is heard from the rock and the rock nudges a few centimeters.

They found us.

As much as I really want that to happen, it really is dangerous to meet them. I wanna keep you safe Gracie.

Everyone, we hide or teleport?

The rock thuds and nudges again, now showing light from outside.

"Teleport us to the path to the castle, we'll start going that way. I already know what we need to do, I'll explain it when we arrive," Nocturna says quickly.

Maple began to think about his current situation like how did she know about that group or even better was she from this time period at all

Alright, but I can only take a couple, and I have to lock on to a pony's magic to be able to teleport. I got an idea. When they come in, we throw the tarp on them to cover them. Then we all run as fast as we can.

Alright. *Flies to get the tarp and returns as quickly*

Aaahhh
Aaahhh

The boulder is pushed to a side, revealing the entirety of the cave's entrance. There appear black and teal earth ponies, both somewhat large. They seem to be guards for the village of the nearby town.

The Peaces throw the tarp to quickly cover them, but plan failed as the ponies leaped back to escape from the trap.

"hold it you two" maple places himself in front of the entrance

Breaker stared at the other unicorn for a moment, before rolling his eyes. "I have a better idea..." He'd said to himself. Looking to his brother Illusion, he jerked his head towards the entrance before making a motion across his eyes with one hoof.

Apparently, Illusion got the message, and gave a nod in response.

And the moment the "tarp trap" failed...

"Brother, NOW!"

The next thing anypony knew, a bright white flash of light coming from Illusion's horn blinded everypony who had the misfortune of glancing at him or so much as having their eyes open at the time.
But that wasn't enough, apparently. Breaker, who had the foresight to cover his eyes, took the tarp with his magic, and forced it onto the two earth ponies, using it to hold them down with Illusion's assistance.

By this time, everypony's vision may or may not have been returning at this point.
"We'll hold them back!" Illusion was heard yelling. "Don't worry about us, we'll be fine! Just get out of here while you can!"

Peacemaker levitates Mystic on him.
Alright let's run out.

The Peaces run out the cave as fast as they can.


The ponies under the tarp are still blinded by the light and are struggling to get out the tarp.

Nocturna runs out as well, nodding to the Spells, catching up to the Peaces to lead them to the castle path.

Shortly after witnessing the blinding spell from Illusion, Gracie began scampering around blindly in a confused panic as a result of mysteriously losing her eyesight within an instant for reasons beyond her understanding. She eventually ran face first into the boulder, which momentarily stunned her. It was very likely somepony would need to carry her in the current state she was in if she were to keep up with the others.

Nocturna looks back and sees Gracie, running back to the cave to get her and carry her to the path.

*Mystic holds on to Peacemaker and stays quiet*

The two ponies under the tarp power themselves out.

Looks like a couple made a run for it. You go after them. I'll take care of them.

Alright sir. Won't let you down.

The teal pony races out towards the direction of the others.

Making a stance, the black pony pulls out a special net, specifically designed for unicorns to supress their magic.

So we did have spies around. You all are to be put away for good.

He spins the net and hurls to both of the ponies.

"On what charges?!" Illusion demanded as he jumped to the side, displaying impressive reflexes. His heart almost stopped as he saw his brother struggling with that enchanted net. It didn't look horrible, but it would take an uncomfortably long moment to separate him from the thing. Were it another time, he'd have commented on the fact that a unicorn had to have enchanted that, but he just wasn't in the mood for being smart.

Besides... I doubt they're really guards at all.

"The princess would have your sorry flank delivered to her on a silver bejeweled platter if you dared try." He said, not with the tone of a threat, but rather the coldness of fact. There was no mistaking this for a lie; Platinum, or at least somepony of importance with the unicorn tribe would be very unhappy. "Especially considering the lack of evidence to our supposed crimes, beyond that of daring to go seeking shelter. But, then again, such blind idiocy seems to be par for the course for an earthen one!"

The temperature seemed to drop several degrees as the unicorn stared coldly at the earth pony, fully expecting retaliation for his insult and forming a plan to counter said retaliation.

In his mind, the situation for his foe was lose-lose. Either the pony attacked and he gives a sound thrashing while claiming self-defense, or the pony wastes too much time, allowing breaker to free himself and forcefully remove this obstacle.

The unicorn was concerned for the safety of the others, but re-assured himself with the thought that they could surely evade or subdue one earth pony. And if the worst happened to them, he was fairly certain it would be child's play to break them out.

Supposid crimes? You resemble of the hooded pony from day past. Who were you harboring in here, or are all of you spies as well? Give me a reason why I shouldn't arrest you?

somewhere in the forest...

Someone is following us!

The teal pony, running very fast, nears closer to the group.

"And if you'll recall, that hooded pony was attacked without warning nor even reason. In fact, you remembering said pony implies you were part of that little posse responsible for the assault... Why don't you give me a reason why I shouldn't arrest you?!"

A dreadful chill went down the earth pony's spine as Illusion stepped closer. Something was wrong...

"Let me put this in a way you'll understand. Either you move aside, or I make sure you're going to have nightmares about this moment for the rest of your life."

*sweating in partial fear* It's always the unicorns. Y'all can attack with whatever special magic tricks. It is y'all that force us to do your whim by threatening us with magic.

You take me out, the village will learn of your actions, and it is you guys that attacked me first.

"I never said I would 'take you out', earthen one..." Illusion said in a suddenly cheerful(?) tone as he began to grin, and that horrible chill from earlier intensified.
"One last time, then..." The creepily grinning unicorn was almost right in the earth pony's face at this point. "Move, or be moved."

"It appears we do indeed have a follower, everypony, hide, allow me to communicate to him." Nocturna says calmly and swiftly.

The black pony gave a brief pause. He goes kicking dust towards and throws a stone before proceeding to run towards him.

In the forest
You are crazy. You serious?
We aint gonna leave you. Keeper, stay with Mystic and Gracie. I'll keep an eye

Peacemaker levitates Mystic onto his brother and both split directions. They both hide from sight.

The teal pony starts reaching closer, and sees only one pegasus in his sight.

Stop there you!

"Big mistake." Illusion said as the stone just barely missed his head, his grin turning quickly into an angry frown.

It was then that the unicorn, for the first time in who knew how long, opened his eyes. Bright green, but that wasn't important right now.

What was important was that they were glowing yellow. The instant the earth pony's eyes met the yellow glowing ones, the stallion's body froze up on the spot.
A glare. That was all that Illusion needed to hold the stallion in place, said stallion forced to look into those eyes by an unseen force. For reasons unknown, looking into those eyes caused the earth pony an incredibly amount of fear despite himself, his heart racing and his adrenaline running high.

If one were to describe it, they would likely say it was similar to looking into the eyes of a cockatrice.

As this was happening, Illusion's horn began to glow a light green as a similar aura surrounded the pony, lifting him off the ground and placing him into the back of the cavern.
"Now, you will sit there in the corner, and you will THINK about what you've done!" He all but shouted, hitting the stallion with a bolt of magic that, at first, seemed to do nothing.

When the unicorn turned away, however, the effects became clear. The earth pony could not move from the spot he was placed, as if his legs were glued to the ground.

"The charm should wear off in an hour or two. Maybe half of one, if you're lucky. Until then... Well, start thinking."
His eyes once more visibly closed to the world, Illusion proceeded to the entrance, and finding that his brother had escaped his predicament, gave only a nod.

Soon after, the large boulder was shoved back into it's place, sealing the earth pony in almost complete darkness.
"Will he be able to-?" "Earthen ones are strong enough. He'll have a hard time, but he should be able to squeeze out when he gets free." Illusion interrupted.

"Allow me to deal with him!" Nocturna snaps, heading forward to the rushing pony. "Greetings, I take it this is not of a friendly meeting, no? Do tell, what brings you here?" She asks him.

I want to know if you are a spy, hostage or trapped. Seemed like you all were hiding in the cave and covered us to escape. Hope you are not those up to no good.

"Spies? I doubt that we are Spies, for we have no purpose as such. I'm pretty sure we're not hostages either, as we're free, same goes for trapped, unlike how you two were," Nocturna says, feigning a sweet tone.

Then why you guys were hiding in that sealed cave? *in a confusing tone*

"Hiding? Us? We were simply surviving, living in a forest is no easy feat, I can assure you of that. I bet somepony like you would have no trouble though, hm?" Nocturna continues.

Gracie finally managed to come to her senses and rose to her feet, feeling a bit disoriented. She noticed that she was hidden beside some bushes and from what she could tell, there was a conflict nearby. Yes, she could see both Peace brothers (unconfirmed) and Nocturna confronting this Earth Pony she had never seen before.

Not considering the situation any further, Gracie bumbled out from behind the bushes, but tripped and fell forward. Thankfully her wings caught some air and managed to keep her from falling on her face. After some more bumbling, she made her way to Nocturna. "Are we on an adventure yet? Who is the wierd pony here? Why are there sticks in my mane?"

Well... with a little knowledge survival is more likely, but I know it is never easy. Even I wouldn't want to live in the forest alone.

*from the bushes whispering to himself* Gracie! no!

*sees a filly coming out the bushes* Oh? Weird? I'm not weird. That hurt calling me weird. Hopefully it isn't because I am an earth pony.

Well... I don't mean any trouble, I am just on a patrol looking for spies and the vampony the village dreads. My name is Combo.

Still Nights walked calmly into view of Nocturna and the others, hood back over his face, hiding his feature from view again. He took a moment to glance first at Nocturna, then the Earth Pony, Combo, before looking at Gracie. "filly, come here. Try to be less obtrusive in situations like this," he told her, ignoring any inconsistency his actions had with what he was saying, and sighed slightly. "...and let's get those sticks out of your mane while we're at it."

"A name holds both a thousand truths and a thousand lies, so don't be offended by me not offering my name in turn. I heard that there was a Vampony over near a forest clearing, nearby the cliffside. Perhaps there would be an excellent place to look," Nocturna responds, letting Nights handle Gracie.

Ah. Tye cliffside from near the cave. I have seen the hoofprints that lead you all of you. It does have a good vantage point of seeing. Let's go

behind the bushes...
Peacemaker gives nonverbal hoof movements towards his brother to follow behind them.

"I must stick here, for I'm currently assisting a poor traveling party. Find a bush with a purple mushroom, from there it'll be on your left the path of the Vampony. That's what I was informed of, in any case," Nocturna states, not mentioning said left of bush leading to here.

Gracie was visually upset about being led away from Nocturna and being refered to as obtrusive... at least it sounded like a word she didn't want to be! Regardless, she didn't want to oppose Radiovid's wishes, so she allowed herself to be led away, although she did have a few words to say as she was leaving. "But I just want to be helpful! I promise I can be helpful! What's a vampony anyway? Is it like a batpony, because I know a lot of batponies!"

Maplewood had slipped off during the chaos and was now trying to find the castle maybe he could talk to some pony there

"You'll have to mind the young filly, she's quite curious about what everyone talks about," Nocturna says, laughing nervously, hoping he doesn't connect what/who she's referring to, her fangs partially showing, but she being unaware.

A certain pair of unicorns had been hiding nearby for a while, now, one in a nearby tree, and the other in some conveniently placed bushes.
Both were keeping a close watch on the earth pony, and the one in the tree, who upon closer inspection one would see it was Illusion, seemed ready to jump him.

They were both waiting for something, likely a reason to strike, or a signal of some sort should someone friendly notice them.

Okay thank you miss. It's okay that the filly is curious. Most fillies are... wait... those teeth? Are you the vampire pony of ponies speak?

"A Vampony? I'm quite offended at your accusation. You can see clearly I'm a pegasus, and second, why would I help you if I was who you say?" Nocturna replies, mock offended.

It is the teeth that look unnaturally long. I heavily assumed that you are a vampony. I grew up hearing the stories of vamponies and how the suck their magic. It is that for which the village grew fear of them, and the idea to cleanse them, from what I hear from the green pony.

All I got to ask... what are you really? How are you a vampony? and is the filly a vampony, too?

"Heh, what a question, young Combo. Before I answer, a question you must reply to. A question that will dictate the future of our conversation," Nocturna explains, flashing her fangs fully. "What do you plan on accomplishing by knowing as such?" She continues, laughing.

I am just a guard protecting my village. If you feel like fighting me, I understand. I will defend myself at all costs. We are in very thin connections with other races relations are very hostile. I really hope you aren't evil as what they village expects.

"Evil, such a fun word. I can assure you that all I've ever done is in defense, though I'm not sure you nor the rest of the village believe that, since Greenlight has given you all a false impression. Let's just say my foal was murdered, and you'll get the idea," Nocturna explains.

You had a foal? I will guess that you bit her back in retaliation. I just hope that you are not going to bite the filly as well, or the other ponies that were in there.

"I have no reason to, now do I?" Nocturna replies. "As I said, I do what I must, not what I don't," She continues.

So... you are a vampony, and you have no reason to bite the filly. I just hope you say the truth. I would hate to lose a foal, no matter what the race is.

Maple was now walking though the forest still trying to come up with an idea of what the hay was happening of course he wasn't paying attention and suddenly fond himself falling of a cliff into a river ."oh sweet celestia"! he managed to say before he landed in the  water

Listening to the two go back and forth, Gracie had the feeling that Nocturna and Combo shared mutual distrust, which troubled her greatly. She still couldn't comprehend what they were talking about, only being able to gauge the tones of their voices to come to her conclusions. What would happen if this continued? Was there the possibility things could get violent? More than anything, Gracie did not like seeing ponies fighting.

But what could she possibly say? The context of this converstaion went over her head and saying something silly could make things worse. Still, it was in Gracie's nature to at least try her best!

"I hope you're not being mean to each other! Don't you know the rules? You're only allowed to say nice things! Even if something is wrong, you forgive it and try to make it right! If you don't follow the rules, you have to take a time out!"

He sees the pegasus filly attempting to stop the fight. He takes a short pause, exhales, and drops his stance.

*sigh* You are right little filly. I know encountering this pony felt unsetting from what I learned, I shouldn't take it to hastingly. And after all, it is bad actions I don't want to show foals. I don't want to fight in front of you, and I hope this pony will do the same.

Having made it out of the river maple soaked to the bone trudged though the forest a string of curse words coming out of his mouth he only stopped when he stepped into the clearing where nocturna and combo where fighting

Still Nights chuckled lightly at Gracies' annoyance at being called away from the argument, then calmly listened to her reasoning. "And you can be helpful if you want, just give those two some space to do... whatever it is they end up doing," he told the filly as he got to picking the sticks out of her mane while Nocturna and Combo argued, listening in, but otherwise remaining silent. When Gracie spoke up again, causing the Earth Pony to back down a bit, he smirked lightly. "There, you see? You can be helpful from over here, filly."

Maple coughed sending his eye batch flying off bathing the area in a red light from his eye "oh horse Apple's"

*he sees the light* Wait... what was that.

He takes an offensive stand and sees the light from the direction of Maple.
I warning you. If this is a threat, I will take you down by defensive force.

"At ease, Sir Combo!" Nocturna barks at him. "The light is but a trick of the eye. In any case, you should be focused on the case at hand, like a good guard," She continues.

Are you sure? Do you know this pony? Wait... this is the pony from the morning with the covered eye. So Double Edge did knew something was suspicious.

*-Alright guys, this is it for me. I am going to be off for a few days to study for my finals. Hope ya guys can carry the story along well. Make sure you use the OOC to communicate. "It seems we've come to a fork in the road. Either I'm honest and you don't believe me, or I'm dishonest and we leave with no hostility. Take your pick," Nocturna explains to him.

"Honesty, preferably. I'm sure nothing you say will be any more unbelievable than what I've heard in my days," Combo responds.

"To each their own, I suppose. To give you a base summary, he's a cyborg, I'm a Vampony, the one that led the filly away is a Batpony, and we're heading to the forest castle," She explains to Combo, a serious face upon her. Combo ponders all of it for a bit.

"I see. It's quite amazing all of you are able to join together and adventure as a unit, you don't see that around here any," He replies.

((Decided to do a good bit of dialogue, now it's time for others to do stuff xD))

Maple just sat there looking miserable "I'll show you a trick of an eye" he grumbled

Gracie puffed up her cheeks angrily when she was so nonchalantly introduced as "the filly that got led away".

"Heeeeey!I was just being helpful from all the way over here... in case bad stuff happen, since I don't like being near bad stuff. But bad stuff isn't happening now, right?"

Gracie shook her head vigerously, trying to remove any excess twigs from her mane, so she could be more presentable. Afterwards, she happily troted back over towards Nocturna, since it seemed that the tension had lessened significantly. She definately wanted to introduce herself to Combo properly, but she also managed to blurt out everything that was engrained into her (thankfully) short term memory.

"I'm Gracie Sky, and I'm from Canterlot! I just fell out of the sky and made all sorts of friends and something about time, magic, and chips! They promised to take me back to Canterlot before I get in trouble for getting lost (an incorrect assumption), but I'd like to make many more friends on the way!"

"An energetic filly, I remember having all that energy," Combo says, chuckling. "In any case, I'll leave you all be, but I must warn you that the village is becoming increasingly more restless, so be careful if you are to return to there," He explains.

"Thank you Sir Combo, be sure to tell Greenlight that the one that she hurt says that she hopes that she's happy," Nocturna tells Combo, as he trots away.

*gets off of Peacekeeper*  i sure am glad that ended well X3 ...so where to go now..? she wondered

"Oh, thank Platinum. I thought he'd never leave!" A voice was heard in a tree branch above, before a familiar unicorn that you probably know to be Illusion, dropped down as the Earth Pony known as Combo left the vicinity.
"Indeed. It would've been less than ideal if we had to use more force than we already have." Said Breaker, as he emerged from the brush nearby.

"Yeah, he's going to be in for a nasty shock if he checks the cave again. On the other hoof, nopony got hurt! Aside from possible mental scarring..."

"great it's the goon squad" maple sneered still dripping wet

*-Kays I am back. Thanks for covering for me Nocturna with Combo. Well... seems things are getting into order, we can continue

He kinda does. Well... now that he let us go, we can go ahead and go to the castle.
Yea. Let's really be careful cause I don't want to run into something like that again. Freaked me out. I thought I be dead.

They move to the direction with the trail while inside the woods.

"I-I wasn't scared! See how brave I was back there?" Gracie boasted, twirling once in place. Satisfied with her performance, she merrily skipped about behind Peacekeeper as she followed him around.

"We should make haste, the morning guard should be rotating soon," Nocturna explains, quickening her trot.

Uh... okay? Let's move then.

"Oh right, forgot to explain. Effectively, there's different shifts. The Night Guard and Morning Guard rotation is when they are most vulnerable. Luckily, we're on time to reach them during it," Nocturna states, apologetically.

Heh that's good then. Better to do it when no one is looking.
I just hope we can finally get back home.

"Back to your time of peace and harmony.." Nocturna mumbles, looking a little downcast.

Huh? He wanted to know what she mumbled, but didn't want to interupt.

A voice is heard from a long distance.
Edge! Edge, where are you!?

Sounds like that same pony.

"Looking for his companion it seems. He shouldn't be much of a bother though," Nocturna says, as though she didn't say anything prior.

Didn't he barged in with him earlier, the black one?
You know what yea. Not sure if it is the same one he is calling.
I wonder if he is partners with him. They sounded like friends.

Upon hearing the voice, Gracie bravely hid behind Peacekeeper, since he happened to be the nearest to her at the time.

"He's saying Edge, but I only remember a pony named Combo. Maybe Edge was the name of that other pony! What happened to him, anyway?"

Just to be safe, Gracie bit onto Peacekeepers tail so she wouldn't get seperated from him if this other pony were to meet them.

Illusion looked to his side while he walked, whistling nonchalantly as he put all efforts possible into looking innocent.
"Paralyzed, hooves frozen to the ground, and sealed into the cavern." Breaker spoke up, causing his brother to look at him with shock. "However, the spells should be wearing off now, and with effort that boulder could be moved on one's own."

"flipping unicorns" maple grumbled under his breath his eye

As they near the location, Nocturna starts to look a little different, a little crooked smile appearing. "We are coming close, we are still making fairly decent time," She tells the group.

Wait... you did what!? So that pony that was with him you sealed in the cave. You better hope you didn't mess up making the situation worst if that guy Combo found out. He just let us go... and... *rubs his face*

Nearing the location...
That's the castle? Wow... looks so much beautiful if it... looked like that right now in my time.
(Almost slipped that out.)

"Okay everyone, we need to move around the back, there will probably be a single guard there, but that one isn't usually very equipped. We can easily knock him out. Once we do, we need to hide him. I'll perform the rest when it comes, and explain as we go," Nocturna explains.

Alright.

Alright. You go. We'll try helping if you need some.

Gracie happily bounced around Nocturna, impressed by her intelligence, even though she didn't realize that she was talking about sneaking into a castle.

"Wow! You must come here a lot if you know all that!"

Nocturna's face darkens as she gets into position. "Now!" Nocturna says, motioning to knock the guard out.

The Peaces run out to the castle.

Nocturna looks over the wall, attempting to locate the opening area.

*runs in with the peaces* oh...goodness this all just happened so fast

Maple simply walks in not really caring about other guards though he checked the one they had knocked out

Gracie was in hot pursuit of Peacekeeper, being sure not to be left behind, since she sensed they were all in a hurry. However, she did take a second to pull out a band aid and put it on the spot where the knocked out guard was hit.

Nocturna manages to sneak in through the usual pathway, seeing an old "friend" who she escaped from before. "Well, well, well, look who do we have here? The escapee?" The pony asks.

Illusion was the one who had knocked out the guard, with Breaker serving as the distraction while he'd teleported above, allowing gravity to bring him down, and slammed down on the guard's head.
He'd instinctively winced at the impact when it happened, knowing that hitting any harder would've done more than just knock him out.

Idly noting Gracie's attempts to mend the guard's injury, they rushed inside, making sure to stick to the shadows wherever possible.

"I escaped indeed, after I got what I needed," Nocturna says. "It's a pleasure seeing you again, Lunar Dusk," She continues.

*-Wait... is it...?

"Friends I'd say not, though he was a guard I managed to convince to let me go, and got him to be..silent," Nocturna says, deviously.

Maple looked unhappy about this new pony

Gracie shyly waves at the guard from behind Peacekeeper. Ponies in armor always did intimidate her for some reason, especially ones with stern looks. In fact, this whole castle business was visibly making her unsettled. It was just so... cramped here.

"I think we're looking for a book. Do you know of any books here?"

*-Ah. I tend to use '*-' as OOC. I got used to using it X3
*-I was saying that if it a reference to the user LunarDusk. But then he doesn't have OCs with the same name as his username. Oh well.

That's right. We need to find the book to get back home.
We should start moving if we want a chance to head home.

((Actually we're locating a room that has the material to cast the spell, and I was unaware of a user by that name xD))

"Indeed, we should.." Nocturna starts, going over and knocking out Lunar Dusk. "Now we can," She finishes, pulling a key off of him for the spell room.

"Pfft..." Somepony was heard trying to prevent laughing. "Wow, you REALLY suck at your job! Whatever it was!" Taunted the voice of Illusion to the now-unconscious guard(?) that was Lunar on the ground, as the owner of that voice was walking in.

"Disgraceful. What sort of stallion were you, allowing yourself to be laid out like that?" Asked breaker, who accompanied, shaking his head at the sight.

"Perhaps I'll tell you the story of our first encounter later on, for now let's start heading that way. The only thing we may have an issue with is the 24/7 watch upon the spell room. The guards are a little..off, to say the least. I never figured out what/why," Nocturna explains.

So it is gonna be hard. I know after this ya guus are risking your lives trying to break in, unless you all gonna travel with is to our time.
Another risk of messing up the timeline, but we really thank ya guys for helping.

"I'm helping until the end, Sir Peace. I'm not one to give up on those I'm with, alongside the fact I have nothing more left in this time," Nocturna responds, a tone of definitiveness in her voice.

Gracie's eyes widened, "Risking lives?! Are we doing something dangerous? I thought we were just looking for a book! Why do we have to break into a castle just to get a book anyways? Can't we just ask to borrow it? Why is the book we're looking for in a castle in the first place? Shouldn't it be in a library?"

As Gracie's suspicions about the situation rose, her behavior began becoming more irratic. The thought of just running away crossed her mind and she started staggering backwards, half in panic.

"Gracie," Nocturna begins in an uncharacteristically motherly voice. "We're here not for a book, but for a location containing both the book and other items. We're here to bring you and the others home, so that nobody gets in any trouble, alright?" She continues, soothingly.

Don't worry Gracie, we will protect you. We thought it was a book. It is a cool room we are going to..
Once we finish, we can take you home, and maybe take you to Canterlot.
(Oh my gosh Keeper. She's not our friggin kid. Then you gonna be stuck with her. It's gonna be the same with your nephew. argh!)

"We must be moving quicker and quieter now, as we're near the room in question," Nocturna states.

While Gracie did seem to calm down slightly, it appeared as though something still troubled her. Regardless, she did want to go back home, so she relucantly resumed following Peacekeeper, still biting on his tail to make sure she didn't get separated.

"Remember that legend we heard a while back?" A stallion states as the group nears a small group of guards. "About how on this date something big happened that changed everything? Something about the flow of time or something?" A mare replies. "Indeed, such is why we were sent back to this time period. We must be on watch, or there will be trouble," The stallion responds. Nocturna slightly curses herself for leading their group within earshot to this, but hoped that they wouldn't assume anything.

Maple using his augmented ears manages to pick up most of the conversation and starts to circle around away from the group

Wait... what? Time period?
What is it Keeper?
They said something about time travel and... I think they heard our plan.
Oh crud.

"We cannot take them by force, this much is true," Nocturna says. "However, we can trick them and lure them away. They're very jumpy, they can easily be thrown off. We need enough time to utilize the spell," She continues.

So how do we trick em?

"Could you create an illusion in their eyesight of a pony running and screaming?" Nocturna pitches in, curious.

Gracie's ears flickered as she listened to Nocturna's plan. A simply marvelous idea popped up in her head!

"Wait! I got an idea! Instead of an illusion, how about a real pony running and screaming! I am an expert at running and I can also scream a lot too when I want to!"

"Then they'd chase after you, then even I don't know what would happen," Nocturna replies, swiftly.

I got an idea. I know instant transmission. I can run across, then teleport to you using instant transmission. The cool thing about it is that it doesn't make a poof sound. It is silent and won't know I even disappeared.

"That sounds like a hassle." Illusion had said. "Plus, hello, Illusion's my name! It wouldn't be any trouble for me to lead them on a grand, merry chase! Just say the word, and I'll have them running!"

Maple having circled around poked his head out right in front of  the guards

"sir why are you hiding behind that pillar?" one asked curious

"No better time than the present," Nocturna tells Illusion.

Illusion nodded, a devious grin on his face while horn glowed, as he worked his magic. This was going to be entertaining.

[glow=blue,2,300]"Is it not obvious!?"[/glow] A voice similar to Illusion's all but shouted, as a pony clothed in dark blue and wearing a large brown wizard hat, hiding his face in shadow, slid into Maple, knocking him flat onto his rear (In reality, some somewhat cleverly concealed telekinesis).

[glow=blue,2,300]"He is admiring it. It is a rather nice pillar, after all."[/glow] The faceless pony said, nodding in approval towards the pillar.
One of the guards opened their mouth as if to speak, but he interrupted. [glow=blue,2,300]"Ah, I know what you are about to say. Who am I, you may ask? Names are unimportant, but you will know me as the colt who traveled through time! Oh, you have already heard of my deeds, but are you willing to see for yourself?! No? Too bad!"[/glow]

The guards were, of course, suspicious of this supposed time-traveler being so open with his intentions. One turned to their comrade, who shrugged, before turning back and advancing on him.

It went something like this. Guard asked "Big-hat" to stop his nonsense, Big-hat refuses, guard threatens to use force, Big-hat dares them to try. One last time, the guard tried to get him to surrender, demanding he get down on the ground.

The response? Breaker coughed loudly (and it was odd how the guards didn't hear) as the pony was making his retort, but one got the impression he said something highly insulting about the guards' mothers. (If asked, Illusion would claim he'd made big-hat call them hamsters). Oddly, Illusion's hooves went to cover Gracie's ears when big-hat had said whatever insult he'd thrown.

Let's just say the guards took exception to that comment. With little warning other than a scream of rage, Big-hat was jumped, hooves flying everywhere as a cloud of dust was kicked up by the scuffle.
Before long, however, the ruckus died down, and the target of their wrath was nowhere to be seen.

[glow=blue,2,300]"Hey, blockheads!"[/glow] The voice of big-hat called out. Looking towards the source of the noise, they saw him standing not too far away. [glow=blue,2,300]"You missed!"[/glow]

He then took off running out of the vicinity, letting out a strange noise... Of the "woop woop" variety, if that somehow makes any sense.

Being somewhat sore, and incredibly, INCREDIBLY angry towards him, it was no surprise that the majority of guards took off after him, paying barely any attention to maple.

Maple watched this with complete anger and face hooves as the guards fell for it

Nocturna manages to sneak into the room during the chaos, seeing a very vibrant area of varying symbols and housing books of immense power. Her sinister smile appears again before disappearing, as she gathers the necessary material for time travel.

The Peaces follow behind.

Good one there. Looks like we are in the clear.

"Indeed. This room holds exactly what's needed," Nocturna cryptically says. "I believe I have everything, now we only need to utilize it," She continues.

Gracie Sky pranced around Nocturna as she was explaining these things. Even though they were in a castle, which she evidently wasn't fond of, this particular room was so curious! She had never seen anything like all these runes and materials that were scattered all over the place. Since Nocturna seemed to be the only pony around that was familiar with this setting, Gracie began directing her powers of suggestion (baby doll eyes), in hopes that something cool would happen. Eventually, she just couldn't contain herself any longer.

"Wow! This place is all glowy! Is like like a magic room or something? Look! There's a book over here! It's really thick! Ooh, another book! Wow! There must be at least ten books on this shelf. How come they are all so big? I'll never be able to read this! What are these strange looking letters on this book? I wanna take one of these wierd rocks home with me! Can I, please? I just want one! This one is my favorite looking one! See how it glows green? I really like green!"

"Sadly, we need that 'rock'," Nocturna states, her smile faltering a good bit. "In any case, once the rest get in here you'll see what the 'letters' are," She continues, setting everything into place.

So this is the room. Wow, really does look like a good place to teleport.
So how would it work to return home?

"To travel within the vortex of time, an incantation must be read, with a spell keeping the stability of all runes within the room, alongside the orbs of reality, that Gracie misunderstood to be rocks. Then it's a matter of the one reciting the incantation to fling those present in the room to the desired period in time," Nocturna explains, suspiciously knowledgeable of all the factors of time travel

Okay, so how do we know what part of time should we enter? I pretty much don't know about time travel except accidentally jumping into this time.

Suddenly three nets, with magic supressant, are flung to the room.

"Do you remember the timeframe of when you existed?" Nocturna inquires before the nets are flung.

"Oh great, it's the bloody cavalry," Nocturna states sarcastically, watching as the peaces are caught within them.

((Feel free to tell me no doing that, it's simply something important for a later sub-plot, not an attempt to try to create a "Mary Sue"))

*-It is intended to catch the unicorns Peacemaker, Illusion and Breaker., also the nets cannot be affected by any magic. Though they are just ordinary nets just coated in anti-magic, simple physical means of escape works, like cutting it.

*-I'll let ya do something for a subplot, just bringing something that will add suspense into it.

One of you showed no mercy and no remorse to sealing my best friend in the cave. If I wouldn't have found him, he would have suffered till he can't bare no more. Now you better apologize.

Maple was now behind the stallion and looked at the others then with a swift smack to the back of his head
The stallion fell with a thud

*from the ground* I knew you were goin to do that, and my friend kinda sees about your special eye, since I got a good check on it. He's right to not trust you, and your cheap trick clinches your true motive. And I let you all go in the name of unity and trust only to know ya guys will eliminate anyone in your way, even my best friend. I think ya guys are the bad guys. *tearing in anger*

Wait... you're Combo. The pony from before.

"I'll do what's necessary to get home " maple gave him a stare

Anything, even eliminate me and my friend. Some way to start unifying the pony races together. Its mutiny. All you gonna be causing is more mistrust cause of your hypocracy.

Look, all I want is a sincere apology from the unicorns who trapped my friend in the cave. I threw the nets cause I fear retaliation from you all for appearing, but especially from those two from what my friend told me.

"Now hold on just a moment, here!" Illusion all but shouted in indignation. "I showed plenty of mercy dealing with that ruffian you call a friend! The one who attacked us first!"

He just stood there, his face slowly turning red as the whistling of a tea kettle was heard. One could almost see the steam coming out of his ears by the time he blew up into an uncharacteristically angry rant.

"I could've done so much worse! I could've broken something, I could've petrified him, I could've stuck that rock there for good, and I could have broken his mind into MUSH! All at once, too, probably! But no, I didn't, because I knew you would get all uppity about it! I even went through the trouble of making sure the charms would wear off after a while so he could escape himself if you were too incompetent to find him! And did that work? Nooooo, nevermind the effort I put into keeping him alive and well, nevermind my work to keep tensions at a low point, nevermind what I go through to keep the tribes from tearing each other to pieces overnight, nevermind the trouble I put myself into just by visiting a friend in your stinking mud-hole of a village! Oh, don't look so freaking surprised, Mr."In the name of Unity"! And then, I get attacked by ruffians while visiting said friend, but clearly my fault, don't do anything to stop it like you're supposed to! And then you two show up when we're oh-so cheerfully going about our own business, and what's the first thing that happens when one of you two sees me and my brother?! A NET! His tirade seemingly finished, the unicorn simply stood there for a moment before straightening up and idly rubbing his throat. There was an uncomfortable silence as his brother stared at him, eyes wide as if Illusion had sprouted a second head.

Eventually, Breaker recovered, clearing his throat. "Better now?" He asked.
"Much." Illusion responded. "...But I'm not apologizing."

Mystic hides behind Keeper to afraid to say anything she keeps quiet

"how long where you kepping that in for?" maple asked surprised by the unicorns big outburst

"That was a very informative rant, Sir Illusion," Nocturna begins carefully. "In any case, Combo, I don't quite understand how you're in here, mind explaining that?" She inquires, curiosity plaguing her.

Even being a not serious kind of vulgarity, it's still considered one, hence, why it fell into the category and not be considered friendly from a site that is inspired from a child show.

As soon as the nets were thrown and a lot of words were thrown, Gracie took cover under the nearest table she could find. This one was covered in a tablecloth, so it completely hid her from sight, although it was very unlikely that she got under there before anypony could see her, especially since her tail was still sticking out. She was trembling in apprehension, which made the table tremble as well. Whatever they were arguing about was uncomprehensible to her, since the sheer volume and hostility of their voices scared her.

"Gracie, you can come out, we're fine for now," Nocturna says to the tail sticking out of the table.

Double Edge has told me how you spared him. However, I was lucky to find him when he was crying out for help. He is able to escape... except he got injured while trying to escape. He would have been trapped there forever! I thank you for sparring him but I hate you for sealing him. You could have at least left it open. Besides, you petrified him for a good time for you to escape to another village! And my village you say. It is corrupt as tartarus for crying out loud. I did not fall into this, this... wretched winds of hatred. You lack respect... but so is Edge. He is bought into this hatred. Me and him were friends, but the only friend I can make. Nopony respected me but him, and he supported me. He raised me tough, but I did not got raised to hate. I do my best to help him buy in to unity, so that there can be a better future. I try showing unity to the foals, which is why I showed great mercy when I saw those fillies. I please you all to try to not show these fillies the violence and hatred of the ponies.Edge also told me that he was a fool for being too aggressive and not thinking straight but anger.

*stares at the ground, then realizes* Oh, and to answer to you Vampire Pony. I have noticed before finding Edge, you were heading to the castle, so after finding out about my friend, I chased after you all into the castle.

"A Vampony to be specific, but whatever I suppose," Nocturna says. "Also, chasing after us? Really?" She continues, shaking her head. She hears the banging of some of the guards heading back.

"Fertrey, trotonica, le linaseo!" Nocturna shouts, creating a magical barrier around the entrance to the room, a web of chains within it.

I have heard you Vampony of your whereabouts, but this is feels too unorthodox of you. I must know why are you really here for?

"A purpose? The question is not whether I'll tell you, the question is can you handle as such," Nocturna states.

As long as it doesn't endanger the lives of others, especially these fillies.

"This room is one of immense power, allowing one to create and travel through a Rift in time. This room is going to be used to travel to a certain period of time," Nocturna explains, vaguely.

Time travel!? My guess may be that you are not from this time. So... these may be your time-traveling friends as well I presume.

"Me, I am from this time, though memories always bring haze to my mind. The ones that have travelled to this period in time are those," Nocturna says, pointing to the future ponies. "The rest of us simply are assisting them, perhaps to help ourselves..escape from the troubles of our past and this time period.." She continues, trailing off, shaking to recover from whatever possessed her near the end.

You are future ponies!? So you are from the future?...

... So perhaps that may explain why you were helping each other. Is no wonder. If I would have known that, I would have assisted you as well. And by looking at these different races together tells me there is hope for unity in the future. It is very hostile, and I believe that you future ponies are in no well condition to handle our time. So go return to your time before it is too late! These ponies can break through your barriers with the correct tool.

Combo throws a hook and uncovers the nets off.

"Yes..let's do so indeed," Nocturna states, laughing menacingly.

"Turenkadis, tufraleous, si corruptica!" She shouts, causing weakness upon the group. "I appreciate the help, my fine fellows, though my plan for time travel was to bring me back in time, to save my foal from that horrendous pony," She says, her fangs out in anger, insanity clouding her. "Almost everything is in set now, finally it can all be done," She continues, tears in her eyes, from what she doesn't understand.

((There's the final conflict for the current roleplay, from my end. It's meant to be a quick, emotional one, and no, we're not really going to be travelling back to that time before the end of it. Perhaps we could do a sequel of this RP, post-returning to the proper timeline. If you want me not to do this, then I suppose I can modify it, though that would mean all the build up was for nothing on my end, lol.))

"I knew I should have never trusted you witch" maple sneered trying to break the spell

The table Gracie Sky was hiding under shook violently as the filly inside hit her head on the top of it. Gracie poked her head out from underneath the tablecloth and her eyes were immediately drawn towards Nocturna. Her eyes confirmed what Gracie could feel from the tone of her voice, great pain. Gracie could not comprehend why she looked so sad, but Gracie could not bear to see a pony so sad, so sad that they were also angry at the same time. But she could sense that this situation was far more dangerous than anything she's been recently confronted with. What was she to do about this? The only thing she knew: anything she could.

"N-nocturna! W-what are you doing? Why are you so sad? Please tell me!" Gracie shouted, hysterically worried.

"Wh-what...?! Nocty...!" Illusion gasped before collapsing to the floor in a heap, his brother following suit after letting loose a muttered curse.
They wouldn't stay there, of course. Even through the curse of weakness, they struggled to stand. Well, Illusion struggled, Breaker was glaring at the vampony responsible for the predicament.

The larger brother's horn glowed dimly, muttered phrases being just barely audible as he focused on the curse's hold on him. Whatever he'd do, though, it would surely take time to do while he was cursed, and that was if he could pull it off at all.

"Nocty... D-don't do this!" Illusion "shouted" as loudly as he could in desperation, his eyes open to reveal the bright green that was previously hidden. And those eyes were tearing up...
Legs shaking violently, he tried to stand, only to collapse again with a whimper, as the effort of standing with the curse's effects literally caused him physical pain.

How could this have happened...?! I trusted her... Took her side...! I even... I might have even had...

"No..." The unicorn slammed a hoof on the ground, only to be rewarded with absolutely nothing.
Barely able to even crawl now, he could do nothing except attempt to reason with the Vampony. "N-nocturna... Please...! I beg of you...! This... This isn't..."

*struggling and whispering* This one is gonna... bite us and take our magic. I ain't gonna... get stuck here. I'm... gonna...
He pauses and looks down in exhaustion.

"so that's why you accused me of those things, so that I would be out of your way when it came down to this" maple asked his face showing the struggle of the spell on him

"I don't plan on harming you all.. I do plan on using this room, with the energy present, to save...her....my poor foal that I couldn't before.." Nocturna says, crying. She goes over to her materials, still audible. "I have nothing left.." She chokes out, shaking.

"None of you know what it's like, being shunned away from your own by a factor outside your control, and being betrayed by one you held dear, none of you!" Nocturna shouts at them.

"No! There's something you still have!" Gracie shouted back, somehow sympathetically, "You have us! We're you friends! Or at least I'm your friend, even though we only met each other like a day ago. But if you have a problem, it is always better if you ask for help, so we can work together on it! That's what I learned in Ponyville, where everypony is nice to you and helps you out! I might not be very useful, but if there's something I could do to help you save your foal, I would do it! Wh-what's your foal's name, anyway?" Gracie seemed very interested in knowing, if only in the interest of not refering to it as Nocturna's foal.

"..it was Sunset, she always enjoyed it when the sun set to begin the night," Nocturna says, a small smile on her face. "She always enjoyed coming up with different ways to celebrate it," She continues.

"Oh, wow! That's very interesting! I love sunsets too, although I have to watch them from inside the orphanage, since I'm not allowed outside after dark."

Gracie shook her head, realizing that she was digressing. Although maybe digressing wasn't such a bad idea. Gracie had some more words she wanted to say, but it would be better if she were closer to Nocturna, so Gracie left the table she was hiding under. It was at this point a certain important factor concerning Gracie Sky was revealed. She was covered by one of the magic nets that was thrown earlier. Apparently she intercepted one accidentally, which spooked her into fleeing under a table. She was under that table hidden since then, so her net was not collected. Since this net was designed for adult ponies, she managed to fit her head, wings, and legs out of the net, but she was still hoplessly tangled in it. Although Gracie hasn't realized it yet, the net supressed the weakening curse Nocturna used earlier, so she wasn't in a weakened state. On the other hoof, she couldn't exactly walk and fell over after only a few steps.

Regardless, she kept trying to get back up and make her way closer to Nocturna. "You should let us help you save Sunset! We're all nice ponies... even Breaker! After all, you helped us all out too, right? So don't think that nopony is on your side!"

"S-stay back!" Nocturna says, seeming as though she was about to speak the incantation again, though hesitant. ((By the way, it's going to be a matter of convincing Nocturna that doing so wouldn't lead to anything good, and that Sunset wouldn't want her to do so))

It really brings me to heart for you... to help little filly. Terribly sorry for the net. Her mission is to save her filly, but I feel some dread into it. Hope she really isn't planning to eliminate Greenlight. If that is true, it is barbaric. I trully feel sorry for the loss, but that is the past. I know it is unforgivable, but going back in time is not the best solution. I lose my fellow villagers to other tribes and as much as I want to terribly fight them, it doesn't bring them back. That is why I want to pursue to teach unity for the foals so that the future no longer leads to hate and loss.

Besides. You can mess up the future if that were to happen. You eliminate her, the future changes, possibly for the worst. It may cause never-ending hate and Equestria won't even exist in our time at all. We won't exist, and this plan would have never happened, and you would have never go back in time to take your revenge. I really sorry for what happened. You aren't the only one who loses a foal. I hear news of it, but in time. From what I learned from my family, the spirit of our loved ones still lives in our hearts. Your foal may still be with you.

We can help you solve a better solution. Just prove everyone vamponies aren't bad at all. I'm from the future, and vamponies are welcomed in Equestria. So someone had to spread the fact that there is nothing dangerous about vamponies. Even batponies are welcomed, and all it took was proof of being innocent. You can help start it. Start a unity.

Nocturna stands, frozen, listening and pondering the spoken words. "Yet with the words you speak, all I am is nothing to you all, due to my actions of present. All that will happen is that I'll be alone again, no matter what.." Nocturna says, quieter, sobbing.

It was pretty messed up having to weaken us with a spell. I really believed that you could help us. The reason you are alone is you using everyone like a tool to help protect you, only to do your bad chores.

If you were to stop your actions and hiding, no pony will ever see you as a bad pony. The village has a platter of you when they find and get rid of you. If there is hope for you to live among the group, you need to show that you care and like that pegasus said, you have to prove that you are not a bad pony from what the crowd thinks of you.

I just feel bad for you and your foal. Honestly, if you were to take your revenge on that pony, you will forever be labled as a bad pony, and for the future nopony will ever trust a vampony ever again. I know somewhere out there, Sunset is watching over. I bet she wants you safe. She wants you happy. And I believe she hates that pony so badly. But I think she will believe that avenging will make you end up in the same fate as her. You had Combo believe you have hope for unity.

I let all of you go in the name of unity. I saw that you were friends and I like that. Just stop this nonsense. For sure they will arrest you, but with my help, and probably the others, they will give you a much shorter sentence. Just testify that you are just innocent. No need for violent actions, no need for hostile words.

"..I never said I couldn't help you, that much was true. My intention was, then I was reminded of Greenlight by both the traitor and those going for supplies," Nocturna begins, her eyes growing softer. "Yet, I see what you mean, and the truth before them. I shall not go for a sentence, yet I shall utilize this room for the purpose it should've been since square one," She finishes. "Retractica, le trapido!" She shouts, undoing the weakening spell. The guards have given up attacking the prior enchantment, in confusion.

"I'm not so forgiving though or I'm I just a traitor to you" maple said as he looked at nocturna with anguish

"You and I may not be of good terms, Sir Maple, though I respect your rank in the division nonetheless. Whether or not I view you as a traitor matters not to the goal, now does it? If I wanted rid of you, I could've done it a while back," Nocturna states, organizing the rocks in a tent shape, and organizing some rune blocks.

"then you speak the truth"

Thanks for undoing the spell. Just promise me one thing. Don't do things so hostile next time, please. Almost doubted you again. You scare me, and perhaps what that pony again said, if it is true, that perhaps you can set a trust for the vamponies for the future.

From the hallway, a black pony, with a fabric tied around his shoulder and thick magic-resistant armor charges at high speed.

*gasp* Edge, it is all a misunderstand...
Double edge pulls out a baton and aims towards Nocturna

No! Edge! *Leaps towards Nocturna, pushing her out*

A heavy blow was given to Combo with such impact as if hitting a large drum and he is sent flying towards the wall with a thud.
Combo!

Gracie yelped when Double Edge barged into the room and smacked Combo across the room. In her panic, she attempted to make more distance between her and that violent pony, but since she was tied up by the magic net, she immediately tripped. Thankfully her wings stopped her from hitting the ground, but she was very disoriented. Her wings had a hard time keeping her up, so she was swerving and ended up flying into the base of a nearby bookcase. The collision caused her to fall to the ground and also caused the bookshelf to being falling down towards Gracie! Gracie wasn't aware of this, however, since she was facing away from the bookshelf as she tried getting to her feet.

Two things happened at this moment in time, as the two unicorn brothers took different actions.

First to take action was Illusion. Now that his magic had been returned to him, he teleported to Nocturna's side after she'd been shoved aside, seeing if she was alright.
Letting out a small sigh of relief upon seeing no visible injuries, he held out a hoof to help her up off the ground, offering a warm smile.

He couldn't help but glance at the pony responsible for this attack, though...

The fact it was a familiar face did not improve his mood. He was sorely tempted to remind Edge of the "Time Out" he'd been given, but held his tongue. For now, he was just focused on offering Nocturna a hoof.


As for Breaker, he'd already begun attempting to cast a barrier spell on the vampony, trying to protect her from the attack that never hit. With the danger passed, he made do with glaring at Edge, ready to take action at any moment. Physical action, if necessary.

At least, until a certain filly's crash into a bookshelf caught his attention.

The larger unicorn's eyes soon widened upon seeing the disturbed shelf wobbling so precariously... "GRACIE!" He ended up yelling, and with all thoughts of magic leaving his mind, he dove after her and snatched her out from under the dangerous object at seemingly the last second.

Now mostly out of danger, Breaker let out a sigh of relief as he stood to his feet, setting the filly down. "Are you alright? Anything hurt?" He'd asked, genuinely concerned and worrying that his somewhat rough rescue had caused injury.

This I feel... that is true. The pony kind seem to get along.
So... maybe... all of these stories and rumors of the races. Perhaps they are wrong. Perhaps we can get along.
I always... had hope... for a better future...to get along. Starting with these ponies... they showed unity... and being from the future... it proves that they can... get along together.
Probably the reason they disguise themselves. Nopony trust other races. It just takes trusted members to convince that they can be trusted. I just don't get if they are actually spying to get our weakness and strike at a perfect time.

*he turns to the other with a stone hard face* ... very well. I shall spare them in your word, Combo. You all tell me the truth and swear an oath that you shall never cause any more problems. If I happen to find the slightest lie in your oath to cause any harm or spying, I promise you, it will be the last time you will ever see Equestria again. Understood?

Maple sat off to the side feeling that for once he wasn't needed to help anypony he still hadn't realized that his eye glass was broken

"Double Edge, your attack was rude and highly unnecessary," Nocturna began, smiling at Illusion for helping her. "Besides that, I think we need to get this started before more can go wrong. I'll be over here casting preliminary incantations, don't mind the feelings you may feel during so," She continues, heading to her triangle of runes and materials.

((I'm so glad you didn't try to save her with a telekenisis spell, remembering that she had a magic net on!  lol Extra points for you!))

Gracie got suddenly tackled by Breaker and saved from the falling bookcase. Gracie took a moment to get up and answer his questions. "Yup! I'm perfectly fine! Thanks!"

Gracie glanced around the room and saw that the ponies weren't fighting anymore. She really didn't know why, although she was happy about it. Deciding to inquire, she tried moving towards them, but the net was still on her and impeded her. In light of that, she tried flying again, but the net disoriented her just as much as last time. She swerved once again into yet another bookcase, causing it to teeter. However, this time, Gracie remained in the air after the collision and began drifting in another direction, colliding with a bookcase on the opposite side of the room.

There were probably no more standing bookcases by the time Gracie was done here.

Don't blame him. It's...
I know. But I assumed you were up to no good. How am I suppose to know you weren't doing a sacrifice? Besides, I also wanted Combo safe. I was afraid I was gonna lose him to you. I really don't know you much other than the stories of my village. Hope what Combo saying is true. I am a serious pony. I would hate to lose anyone, especially Combo.

Combo gets up and walks to the group.
*Speaking softly* That's Edge for you. He really is kinda overprotective. He is also my captain and the captain of my village's guardians. It is gonna take time for him to believe you, but just don't play words with him and break promises. Inside, he really does care for others. You can be friends with him, and he will have your back.

"ah the captain,well it's nice to see one that cares about his troops" maple chuckles sadly wincing from his bruise around his good eye

A rumble can be felt in the room as an incantation is stated. "Titario, la travido, ye concoctico," Nocturna repays as the orbs link with a line of magical energy. "We're ready whenever!" Nocturna shouts over the noise.

"wow that was fast " maple appeared next to nocturna

"Just needed to cast an inter-dimensional rift to travel through, no biggie," Nocturna says nonchalantly. She grabs her head as a migraine begins, a pretty hefty one.

"you ok there"  he asked looking worried

Ready to go home Keeper?
Yea. Pretty scary to be here. I thought we were finally gonna be done here.

"Let's go then," Nocturna says, shouting the final incantation, causing the castle to start crumbling from force, and the two groups of ponies((the sign-up crew)) to be taken into the rift for a time((final conversation of this roleplay, if that's fine. Not trying to rush it, but I like to make a good, strong ending, which is what I'm setting it up for, if you'll read my OC Post)):

Current time: 1001 A.B. (After Banishment)

The time ripple shines brightly, and the ponies reappear in the light as the light starts to fade to nothing. They appear in the city park. It was nightime, about 2 AM.

We are back!
Finally back home. Everything looks okay. Nothing has changed. Seems nothing much happened to mess up time.

Gracie's magic net disappears as soon as she rematerializes in the current time. She blinks a few times and lands on the ground nearby Peacekeeper.

"Where did everypony go?" she asked, her eyes searching the area for the others. "I don't see a lot of them. Our friends, I mean. That strange light didn't make them disappear, did it? Where are we now, anyway? This is certainly not a castle."

We are back home Gracie, to our own time.

((So much for my idea of the ending then, I was wanting a final conversation sequence to end it. Do you have something else in mind? In accordance with my OC Description, my character disappears into the vortex every time that her existence somewhere concludes, such as time travel(specifically). I was planning on having the roleplay incorporate that, then have everyone back to their own devices in the present time, and me appearing again in the next roleplay, without recollection. That, or I bring upon my other OC, one of the two. Either way, that was my idea, up to you though, Peace Keeper))

Maple stretched"man it's good to be back"

A note blinks into existence, a symbol of a TARDIS upon it. The note appears to be from Nocturna, who is non-existent with the group that's currently back in their time, or to the time that they wanted to be at.

((I'm also a bit bummed that proper farewells were not exchanged, but thankfully we both had the same idea to get around it, except I took it a little further. It'll make the scenario a bit more believable and would offer some much needed exposition on the matter.))

The note fell on Gracie's head, catching her attention. Shortly afterwards, a grey colored Pegasus also popped into existance, also landing ontop of Gracie's head. The two collapsed into a pile. After a brief moment, the two managed to get up and shake off the dust that collected. The grey colored Pegasus saw the note still on Gracie's head and grabbed it.

"Ah! There it went!" she exclaimed, "I almost thought I lost it back there, thanks for keeping it safe for me!"

Gracie nodded excitedly, even though she had no idea what was going on. "No problem! But what is that note?"

"Why, it's for you and your friends, actually! It's a letter from a certain somepony you might know. Due to some... "Time Restrictions", I was the only mailmare with the qualifications to deliver it to you! That note is part of a set too! I got a few more here from the same time line for you as well! Almost lost this slippery little devil in the time flux, but thankfully your time signature was strong enough for me to carpool in with the note! See, the note would be over a thousand years old if I hadn't been put on the job! That's how terrific it is!"

The mailmare reached in her bag and gave Gracie a few more letters. Gracie was super eager to read everything, even though there was this thought in the back of her mind that something about this mailmare... seemed a bit off balanced. What exactly did those notes read?

[Well, I was hoping for that final conversation, too. But I suppose I can made do with a letter... Here's hoping this is at least acceptable!]

Among the letters provided by the blonde-maned mailmare was an envelope addressed to "The Travelers", sealed with red wax and a black symbol that bore an uncanny resemblance to the marks of the two unicorn brothers in the past.
The only issue would be safely opening the thing without a blade of some kind. Or perhaps magic would be a good substitute?

Nocturna's note reads:

"To those of my journey,

These last few moments I fear are my last. For some odd reason, I remember everything, with the haze and all gone. The time vortex, it's taken its hold on me, it's ridding of my existence soon after this letter. This letter is made from Paradoxial Fiber, a product of the Paradox Machine, that can survive even when I no longer exist.

It's quite strange. What you knew of me was but a construct, yet who I am is an unknown. I don't exist, yet I do, ever-present, in my own way. I'm not even sure if how you saw me is my true form, I have no clue.

I thought the incantation would let us talk, yet I suppose this happened to avoid possible paradoxes to occur.

Thank you all, for everything. Even though the life was not truly mine, I feel as though it was, and my feelings towards all of you were very real, nonetheless. In the event of cross-time communications, I loved every second spent with all of you, and hope that Equestria continues as it should, to a time of peace and unity.

Goodbye Peace Brothers, Gracie, and Sir Maple. I did include something in here for all of you, in a chest. When you open it is up to you, it serves as my final gift to all of you. This is tied solely to this timeline, thus being why only for you three.

*-@Nocturna : Terribly sorry it didn't went your direction. Perhaps goes for everyone else. Sure wish to just turn back time. I didn't know that wasn't the final spell to open up time till yet. *sigh* probably messed up a good ending there. Wish to actually turn back the time so that the ending could come out better. Not sure if everyone would like to reset it back before the teleportation was made so we can have a better ending. The notes are pretty touching, but yea, it could have ended better.

((I'd be fine with a time rewind, myself. It'll be the same general thing, but it would be nice to have a better closure to our tale.))

[I'm actually not too sure about rewinding time like that. Sure, it's a darn shame that we missed the opportunity for a proper goodbye, but going back just to do that when we already had that thing with the letters? It just wouldn't feel right... It's your choice, though.]

*-I feel ya. We did our work into putting the notes for the farewell and would be a shame for making them useless. I know you put great effort into making a great thank-you and farewell note for us.
*-But I don't know if everyone will like the idea to make it into two different endings. It will just be an extended RP just rewinding stuff again from the previous point and doing double work to read off of two different endings.

((It's quite alright, you didn't intend for it to be rushed, it was simply an error. If I judged you for that, I'd be a hypocrite. As I said in the OOC, I've not been good much at all this roleplay. I did leave you guys with a cliffhanger to act on with a sequel to this roleplay though [emoji14]))

((It's a simple case of live and learn. We cannot learn from mistakes we do not make. It's not a total disaster, either. We can forage the ending we wanted or at least manage something close.))

After looking at all the letters Gracie handed one back to the mailmare. "I can't actually... uh... read that well. Does it say anything about me?"

"Of course!" the mailmare replied with enthusiasm, "Why it's clear right here that you made a lot of ponies smile! Nothing happens by accident with time travel; you clearly were destined to bring those smiles!"

Gracie giggled in response, although a thought just occured to her in that moment. "Right! My friends went through the trouble of writing me these letters! I should write one back! Am I allowed to do that?"

The mailmare put a hoof to her chin as she contemplated her answer. "Hmm... I'll tell you what. Write the letter and I'll hold onto it. I'll find a way to get it to them, even if I have to bend a few of the rules."

Gracie giggled once again. "Aww thanks! You're the best mailmare ever!" Gracie was given a paper and pen and began to furiously write her heart out. After she was done, she had a paper that read "THANKS!" followed by something that resembled her signature. She even drew her "self portriate" in a corner. Afterwards, she handed it to the mailmare, who safely tucked it away in her bag.

The Peaces look at the ponies with the letters and wondered of the message written.
Anything good in the letters?

((This is Nocturna, though my proper account instead of the one I utilized for the roleplay. I'll just put a message here to nudge this along a bit))

The box vibrates slightly, as though reacting to some magical force engulfing it. The Peaces notice the box finally, questioning its existence, since Gracie held the letters.

*Looking in confusion and caution* Who's box is it?
Don't know. It's like it just got there.  Whatever it is, it looks magical.
Wonder how it got there. Didn't see it till now.
I'll watch with ya. Better not be one of those that takes you back in time again.

Peacekeeper approaches the box, a little anxious and worried about the box. He takes little steps to the box while his brother watches closely. As he finally approaches, he goes ahead and very cautiously tries to open the box.

The box hums, yet doesn't do anything else, inviting the opening of it. The words "From Nocturna" soon visible.

Hmm? It is from Nocturna, in magical word form. Interesting.
Really? Guess it is for us. What's inside? Probably a message or a gift.
Probably. Let's see inside.

Gracie Sky hears the humming and turns her head in the direction of the noise. It seems to have been originating from the direction of the Peace brothers, who were near this intresting looking box. Gracie began to wonder what was inside and made no effort to hide that curiosity. She flew a short distance to the box. "Ooh! A box! I love boxes! What's inside? I wanna open it!"

Without even thinking, she "assists" Peacekeeper with opening the box by nudging the lid with her head rather forcefully.

Inside is a Raven familiar, instructed by Nocturna to guide and assist them, accompany them in her absence. The familiar wakes up when the box is opened, blinking initially in confusion. "Hello you three, you must be the trio of my prior Master's Direction. I wasn't aware I'd be trapped in a box, but I suppose I have no reason to complain now," The raven states.

((Feel free to give the raven a name for use in the next RP, alongside the end of this RP. It's up to you three for it.))

Both brothers are in surprise to see a raven inside the box. Their surprise is pushed further to know it can talk.

Oh, uh yes we are the three that traveled with Nocturna.
Strange you were in the box. Probably sent you here by Nocturna.

Peacekeeper finds a tag in the box. He wonders if it is the raven's name.

The Raven blinks in confusion, before realizing he means his/her master((With the name you can choose gender, female probably would work best)). "I would assume so, as she's my master," The raven replies.

After seeing the bird, Gracie Sky jumps up and down excitedly. "It's a bird! It's a talking bird! This is the first talking bird I've ever seen! I wonder how it managed to live in that box without any bird seeds or water in it. I bet you're hungry, aren'y you, little birdy? Too bad it looks like it's in the middle of the night right now, and I'm guessing the bird store is closed by now."

Gracie also noticed that Peacekeeper was reading a tag attached to the box. That must've had the bird's name written on it! Without delay, Gracie went next to Peacekeeper in order to read the name! She gave the nametag a good long look, wishing she knew how to read better.

Before asking, he is interrupted by Gracie, but doesn't mind. He then feels Gracie brush up next to his face looking at the tag as both feel the need to read the tag. He reads closely, but still wonders on what it means. Unsure, he now asks the raven.

There is a tag here that says Nightshade. Is it your name?

"I was never called a name by my prior master, though Nightshade is a fine name," Nightshade concedes, looking over at Gracie. "Also, I am a bit peckish, though we familiars don't eat much," She states.

"well that's neat" maple yawned

Gracie didn't understand what "peckish" meant, but it sounded very bird-like!

"So what now? Do I get to keep you now, since Nocturna sent you in this package? I guess I have to send her a present too! Ooh! I know exactly what she'd like! Some chips and fruit punch! Maybe even a hayburger! I don't think she's ever tried them, so I definitely need to send her some to taste! Should I use this box to send it back to her?"

"My master informed me of the fact I would not see her again, I think that means she's..gone," Nightshade informs, confused because she saw Nocturna write a letter stating the same thing.

I only seen here for barely a day, so probably she is still out shere. She probably going on some kind of mission and wont return. She can still be alive out there.

Peacemaker is unsure of Nocturna's fate, but instead of bringing dread in which he is sedimental to bad news, he wants to give light of hope that it's former master is still alive.

We are sure your master sent you to us to take care of you. I know she probably loves you and don't want you hurt or alone.

"Nay, master, it's but a fool's dream to believe as such," Nightshade replies, her wings extending in a stretch.

"Oh, and I forgot something," She states, flying back towards the box, jumping down into it to find a scroll.

"Use this scroll, you four, and I officially become your familiar. Otherwise, The Council will assume I abandoned my master instead of being reassigned," She explains, giving it to Peace Keeper.

"where are we by the way?" he asked looking around not sure of his surroundings

"To my knowledge, Ponyville City Park, home of the three primary races, alongside the minority parties," Nightshade informs.

*To Maple* We are finally back to our time. Finally home to our time.
Now I know how ponies get around back in those times.
It was pretty scary. Worst than our house. But it's crazy how ponies back then got to get together after that.
Yea. Ima miss them. Especially thank Nocturna for bringing us back.

Peacemaker happens to find the book about 3 meters away.
Hey. It's that book. The one that teleported us away.
Really? Wow. Guess we really got to our time. To be sure nopony would accidentally go back, we need to turn it to the princess.
Alright. Now that we are here, let's just go home. Was a crazy adventure. Ima just be careful what I read. Imagine another book does the same thing?
That would be crazy. I think that is the only book that would do that.
