Now, I know this is early but wait!

I'm not going to post my gift for you all just yet! ;)

I just wanted to let you all know, I got something sweet planned.

I'm sad to say it's not all of it is original work of mine (Except for Pinkie, she's getting an extra gift!... But that will come a bit later), yet that doesn't make it any less sweeter. :)

I can't wait for you all to see it!

Great news! Part of this little yet ambitious project is done! :D

Here's an update.

Remember that surprise I told you about? Well it's actually three surprises.

If all goes well, they should be ready by tonight or tomorrow at most. And with that, one major part of this project is done. :)

I think some of you are going to freak out when you see them. :D

One is ready, and it made me make a face like this. :3

That was a complete win.

Second surprise won't happen, sadly. It's no big deal though. It's related to one of the gifts however, so I won't be revealing what it was just yet.

And finally, I shall start working on the third surprise today (In about 1-2 hours). If all goes as planned, it should be ready by tonight.

Then I start working on the only gift that's left. The tough one. I'm kind of waiting for somepony to answer me something before I start. B)

As I said on my DA, there's more than one gift.

The image will feature a few select ponies, so that image won't exactly be a gift to everypony.

However, the other gifts definitely are for EVERYpony! ^-^

Neither Jenzy not I have finished.

We talked a bit and decided to deliver the gifts on the 31st, as a late Christmas and New Year's present! :D

Eww, I hate laptops with broken screens.  I bypassed that by setting up remote desktop control of my laptop from my main computer(so I can run my ts3 server on it).  Hope he can get it fixed soon :(

Yesterday in the morning, while reading the roundup on EqD someone asked for a song based on the featured cookies.

The image has many ponies. Jenzy made the background in Photoshop. I need to have the layers from Jenzy's file in order to place ponies like I want, and to fit them in there.

I've been searching all day long (When I wasn't asleep!) and basically, I have to download Photoshop and/or Illustrator. Luckily it works with the trial, the bad news is those two are heavy as buck, and this will take a while. :l

Not to mention, I've no idea how many layers Jenzy used, and you have to work on individual layers to get your SVG in the end.

And to make things worse, not only do I need to finish a couple of ponies, I think we're going out soon.

I'm.. About... 60% done with this pony more or less, and then it's off to the last one! :D

Wow... I just realized I'm more efficient with my vectoring when I do it from a toilet. lol

Did It really take you hours to finish vectoring your ponies head.  It's taking me less, I think.  But that's probably because you have the hat and stuff and I'm probably just not paying attention to the time.  Anyway I can't wait for this to be done.

My first one? Yeah, took me hours. Lots of trial and error, and details like you mentioned.

I had te rewatch tutorials a few times and I kept taking breaks. :P

Okay, well I finished layer head and am on layer glasses+eyes+ears.  I'm probably going to draw the full picture of Spellsworth.  And then I will find the front of some random unicorn ponies face and make one exactly like it for Spellsworth.  Anyway.  Hi.

And we never, ever run out of hot water, so I can take my time. Longest I've spent while taking a bath has been 5 hours. Why, yes, I do believe that's an academy record. ^-^

A kind of picture

A vector, to my understanding, is basically taking a picture as a base, and then editting that (giving it alternate colours and such).

Anyway....

It features twenty ponies, all related to a person on the Legends Of Equestria Forums, with the exception of the lovely Derpy Hooves and the wonderful Spitfire. Do you love the ponies? Thank me! I will be posting the individual ponies as well, if you feel like downloading the images but also want the vector of your pony alone.

As a bonus/surprise, I'm going to send this to EqD! If we're all a bit lucky, we'll get to see our ponies featured in EqD!

Now, I know what you're thinking. Those are only twenty ponies and these were supposed to be gifts for everypony, right?

Well... Do you know about this lovely voice actor called Anneli Heed? You do? And you also know she made a song for us bronies as a gift in early December, right?

Soon as I heard that I HAD to cover it. Not only that, but I asked for her permission to do a little something extra special. I asked if it was ok to sing with her, and guess what she said?!

THAT'S RIGHT, my wonderful friends! And you know what's the best part (for me)?

The original idea included roughly thirty-something ponies, I think almost 40. I barely made it in time, and there's almost no room for any other pony. :\
