Kain Highwind of FF4 is said to be the son of a Richard Highwind, though he also says his father was the leader of the Baron Dragoons.
Richard Highwind in FF2 has a son named Kain.
Mysidia, the city of mages, AND the Tower of Mysidia are in both games. However, in FF4 the Tower is a part of the town itself. The two world maps also show Mysidia in a different geographical center. In FF4 it's said that Mysidia had already been around for hundreds of years and seeing as it still stands at the end of After Years, it could exist for hundreds more, possibly thousands.
Yet if FF2 and FF4 happen one generation separate from each other, how did Mysidia's location change so drastically so fast? My only theory is that FF2 happens a LONG time before FF4, that Mysidia changes its location to be centered around the tower, and that a Baron Dragoon named Richard knows of the old tale of FF2 and in the spirit of things names his son Kain.
What do you ponies think?

However, the loop hole in this is that the Tower is surrounded by water. I mean, an axis shift wouldn't create a continental shift like this would it? So does that mean a HUGE land-changing event happened between the two games?
(If you turn the FF2 map counter-clockwise, you can see a similarity in locations btw. A different comparison if you flip the corners of Deist and Elban with Mysidia's and Fabul's surroundings being similar.))

Resolved Issues / Cleaning up or derezzing everything?

I'm not exactly sure where this post would go but since it concerns the forums in general, here we go.
As of late I have noticed that the moderation of the forums has become quite slenderman-ish. It all began when the newest batch of forum mods were instated. I received a warning from an anonymous mod that used the forums to PM me instead of stating who they were. As their warning was about an erroneous perception of my thread's purpose, I wished to PM them back and explain it but I could not.
After that incident things were pretty quiet. That is, until the forums were redone with different categories. Not only was Gen Discussion eliminated but most threads in the forums were completely deleted when they should have just been placed in Retirement. After all, those threads did not violate the rules - they were just old.
This turn of events concerns me. Has there truly been such a shift in moderation techniques that I can no longer trust in the mods to protect anyone's threads much less my own?

E-Daily featured in their webcomics an amazingly detailed and long comic by someone on deviantart. It had Twilight on a train explaining to her daughter what Equestria was like before the sun and moon moved normally in the sky. It was about how the unicorns started magically controlling it all themselves and that over time they just kept doing it until Celestia and Luna took over the position.
Basically, it said that outside of Equestria the sun and moon move normally without needing unicorn control.
Does anyone remember who that was by or even have a link to it?

Of the Elements of Harmony I'd be either:
Loyalty - I don't trust easily. I have allies and companions but rarely friends. I don't SWEAR Loyalty to anyone unless we have a mutual respect that goes beyond the stars. Heck, I don't even worship anything. But that means when you DO attain my Loyalty it's one of the most precious treasures. Ever. I naturally protect people no matter how well I know them, however, since it is part of my very nature to do so. However, for a certain reason that fits in more with Honesty than Loyalty.

Honesty - If I said I never tell a lie that would be lying. Telling the truth is not exactly the same as being honest. Above all you have to be honest with yourself. I feel what I am meant to do and I do it. Period. I am so in touch with myself that I am sure of myself and my actions. I do not do regret. It is this feeling of what I am meant to do that makes me jump in front of someone to save their life at the cost of my own, challenge anything I see as wrong, and do what's wise even if it isn't smart. However, being like this means I can't lie to or deny myself. It's a gift and a curse but I'm fine with it nonetheless...most of the time.
It's because of the above that I often challenge authority. If a leader is WRONG that means they're NOT RIGHT. One reason I wouldn't survive the military is that I'd yell back, especially if I'm not the one being yelled at.
I don't go with the concepts of Good and Evil. I go with Nobility and Corruption. Evil CAN be noble just as Good CAN be corrupt. It's all in the way and reasons why you specifically do things.
If you know what my avi is a reference to you're sick in the head. You also are awesome in my book.
