Pony name keeps getting changed?

I'm a returning player from years ago, and I'm attempting to make a new character. Each time I try to name him, only the first part of his name will actually stick. I change both first and last, but when I actually enter the game, it changes the last part back to whatever word was randomly generated. Is there any way to fix this?

Had the same problem. It's a strange naming bug. Not sure if it will work for you, but I did it this way after many attempts and it worked for me. Try entering your pony's first and last names in the last name column with spaces

Example        Leave blank ->  [ First Name ]  [ Star Swirl ]  <- both names with space

If theory is correct this should work if it's the same bug
