Rush hesitated at the treeline, looking over the beach to make sure no danger lurked ahead.

Chrome chuckled. He was warming up to this stranger who had randomly asked to walk with him. "There aren't that many ponies that walk around looking translucent and shining in the light, though."

"And you're fine. You are more likely to have an interesting story than I do." He said, glancing over at her.

"I come from the far north, the Crystal Empire to be exact." Chrome said as they continued. He seemed to be lightening up, bit by bit, as they spoke. His previously dulled colors had even begun to brighten.

Rush nodded and stood up.

"Let's go, then." He said, moving quickly in the direction they had come.
72
Rush frowned.

"I really hate reality warpers." He said, looking at Joy. "So, what now?"
73
Chrome didn't speak while he and the mare walked, but he was secretly was glad to have somepony walking with him; it made him feel less awkward in the crowded streets.

After she asked her question,  he turned his head to face her.

"I'm just exploring around. I just happened to end up here today." He said, turning his gaze back to his front.
74
Rush raised an eyebrow.

"But a hex is a hex: an evil thing that is easily undone with the right tools." He said calmly. "And I have the tools to counter your hexes at will. So by this point, unless you have some sort of trump card, we are at a stalemate."

He sighed and sat down. "Do you want to play? Well get your game on, let's play."
75
Rush raised an eyebrow at the necklace, but said nothing. There was some bad magic pouring off of it.

Sorry, typo.

As the light cleared, the hexes on both Rush and Joystick had seemed to vanish.

"Was it friend?" He smiled.
