I need a mean, green, fire breathing machine that will scare the non-existent socks off anything or anyone foolish enough to stand against me. Kickstarter runs through the forest jumping and climbing on everything in her path. The little filly does this all the time and her parents trust that she won't get in to any trouble. She has always loved see the world around her ever since she born, it's a wonder how she hasn't got a cutie mark for it yet. A dry dirt patch appears infront of her with one noticeably big crack.

As the ponies take a look at the ginormous dragons outside, Kickstarter travels close enough to the barn to make out what the sign says.
A place where you can buy a pet dragon! That sounds soon cool! But my parents never buy me one those expensive creatures, and I can't possibly save up enough bits in my piggy bank. Ohhh but I really really want one...A idea comes to mind. She runs up to door and, with her hoof covering her "higher than Nieghgara Falls" mane, slowly opens the door and takes a close look inside. She was about to lose a visit from Santa Hooves, but what could he give her that could be better than this?

Vestroya grunts playfully at the guests.
"Well as I said before, price is no object, and I need all the firepower I can get!", he exclaims heroically.
Azure looked around untill he came across a small, snow white dragon. Its eyes were blue, and its scale were reflective, like gemstones.
"Wow, you're cool..."
Reaching in his pouch, Azure found a book on dragon types. After a little bit of scanning, he found this particular dragon:
"Prismalis..."

Lt. Turnip continues his interrogation and assessments of the various dragon breeds, but isn't showing much direction or knowledge in just what he is looking at.

A rather strange looking pony with a loaded saddle pack trotted into the shop. It was hard to tell what exactly this chestnut-colored creature was. For the most part she was a deep, earthy brown with white patches on the sides of her face, splotches of white on her legs, and white strips along her hindquarters that went a little bit past her hocks. There were plenty of ponies with strange markings and colors to go around, but this "pony" had big ears that turned outward, two little horns on either side of her mohawk, a tail coated in short fur, like her coat, that ended in a tuft of hair, and cloven hooves.
Seeing that....She grabbed a small square of paper from her saddle pack, looked at it for a good moment, and then tucked it away. Seeing that the pony she assumed to be Fifi was bust with a small crowd of ponies around her, Imani decided it would be best to wait. She walked over to the small circle of ponies, then turned right and walked a few paces away, where she watched Fifi try to make a sale.

Azure almost didn't hear Fifi because he was reading about this dragon. Just in case, he got out his savings: 800 Bits.
Mean ones aren't always the strongest.

I only have one like that, it is 800 bits. Fifi turns to Azure. Thank you. Fifi says as she exchanges the Prismalis dragon for the 600 bits.
"Then bring it forth so that I may test it's mettle!"
She pulls out a weird flute and plays a melody from it.
The dragon that Match desires approaches him.
The purple stallion stands firm as the large green dragon steps forth from a doorway guarded with two iron doors. The beast appears aggressive towards the fearless stallion that seems to be staring it down from behind his oversized helmet. Finally reaching the stallion, the dragon stood on it's hind legs and towered over him, it's scales shining like emeralds in sunlight. Accepting the contest of wills proposed by the unfazed stallion, the dragon returned the stare with eyes like orbs of molten gold.
"Thank you."
Azure turned around to see the Prismalis sitting right in front of him. On closer inspection, the dragon tilted its head. From its shape, it was clearly female.
"Heh...now all you need is a name..."
He tried to think of one; she was small (for now at least), her scales were quite reflective, and as far as reptiles go, she was quite pretty, like a...
"...Gem. You like that name?"
The dragon nodded, suprisingly.
Shade snapped back to it. "Shadow. Shade. DARK!"
"Oh, sorry. Sometimes my mind drifts off."
Take care of them, they are like children.
Growing weary of their battle of wits, the dragon lowers its head to that of the stallions and breaths a quick burst of flame onto his shielded face. To the shock of the dragon, the stallion seemed unfazed the fiery onslaught. Seemingly satisfies with the dragon, the stallion turns to Fifi and says, "I'll take it!". All the while, the stallions' helmet is charred black and the tip of his tail is on fire.
That one is 900 bits, also your tail is on fire.
"What?", he declares while turning his head to see his tail. "Aaaaaaaahh", he screams, running in circles for a hit before rolling on the ground and putting the fire out.
Now on fire, Lt. Turnip walks over to Fifi, the dragon following close behind. "Now to settle payment", he says while reaching into his saddlebags and from them retrieving a large bundle of pristine turnips. "A value pack of my family's triple-a award-winning secret breed Super-Turnips!"
Gem's head began surveying her surroundings, and soon she was staring at the large Dragon that had set a stallion on fire.
They do like turnips, you got a deal.
She takes the turnips and let's Turnip have the dragon.
Lt. turnip then turns to his dragon and begins rubbing it's belly, something the dragon actually appreciates. He then starts saying things like: "Oh, who's a good dragon? You are, yes you are!"
I can help who is next.
Shade walks foward.
"I would like a dragon," She stated.
Ok which kind would you like?
Taking his dragon outside, Lt. Turnip tries to begin training his companion, but instead keeps ending up just playing with the creature.
Fifi smiles at Lt Turnip playing with his dragon.
Gem suddenly jumps out of Azure's hooves and ran after Lt. Turnip.
"What? Gem, wait!"
Fifi catches Gem.
Now now, you listen to your master.
She sets Gem down and pats her head.
Gem looked around, confused, before looking upward in a dignified manner.

Shade pet the black dragon on it's forehead, where there was a blue gem. She pulled out a pouch of bits.

Gem then walked up to Shade. If anything, she was curious about everything. Azure closely followed her.
Fifi uses the downtime to feed her butterfly dragon Bugsy and her apocalypse dragon Vestroya. Both growl happily when they start eating.
** As everyone is busy playing with their dragons and browsing the shop, a new pony strolls in. She wears chrome armor on her shoulders and head, and has long silvery mane.

Hello! I'm looking for someone who re-plates dragon armor, mine is getting a bit thin... she said as she turned around to see Fifi and her accompanied dragons.
You don't happen to do it yourself or know someone who does? You see, I'm dropping in to this town for a rest before I continue my journey, and heard that the only dragon shop around was here in these woods.
Shade walks out. "I'll call you Blitz."

I'm sure Constellation is getting impatient out there said to Fifi, realizing that Connie might have gotten into some sort of mischief by now. If you do, could you bring it outside? I think I better check on her real quick.
Celestial Force ran quickly out the door, not excited to see the mess her dragon probably made. Although Constellation was in her late juvenile stage, she still acted like an overexcited wyrmling.
Fifi drags a 90 lb bag of dragon food.

Awesome! Says Celestial Force. She hands over blue bit purse to Fifi, then brings the huge bag of food to Constellation. The hungry dragon quickly levitated the bag with what looked like dark purple mist and poured some of it into her mouth.
Is it good girl? Asked Celestial. It was almost as if Constellation was talking back to Celestial, the way the two were looking at each other, except not a sound was uttered by the dragon.
I don't want another word out of you about being starved! Said Celestial to her dragon with a frustrated tone.
Seriously, I feed you four times a day, and don't even get a thank you! Then after a moment, Celestial smiled, hugging Constellation's head. I know she said.
I have two that I call my own. A butterfly dragon named Bugsy, she is very protective of me and an apocalypse dragon named Vestroya, he's still a baby. Fifi approaches Constellation after picketing the 90 bits. M. you're a pretty girl. She reaches out to pet Constellation.
Gem decided to climb on Azure back, finally used to him.
That is, until she spotted Constellation, and sprinted over to her.
Constellation looked at Fifi oddly at first, but soon became quite friendly with the new pony friend.
Constellation is a rare kind of dragon, a Televere. She specializes in mind magic, and has mastered telepathic communication and telekinesis. If she likes you enough, she might speak to you! Explained Celestial Force.
Constellation looked at Fifi intently, focusing on making that first connection with a new pony. Suddenly, Fifi could feel a cold pang I her mind, and heard the dragon's voice clearly.
Hello she said. I'm Constellation.

Gem just stared at Constellation, before slowly walking forward, and lightly tapping her claw.
Azure would have moved to get her, but he didn't want to get too close to Constellation just in case she was weary of strangers.
Hi Constellation, is it alright to pet your head? You're very pretty.
Of course Constellation replied. She slowly lowered her regal head and rested it on the ground for Fifi.
Gem was very close to the other dragon now, and Constellation could feel her right next to her foot. Reaching her tail to where the little dragon sat, she picked Gem up and placed her next to her face.
Hello little one she greeted warmly. Would you like to see a trick?
Fifi gently rubs Constellation's head with her hoof.
Celestial Force smiles
She seems to have taken to you she said to Fifi
Gem nodded, before suddenly breathing white smoke on the floor. When it faded, there was a very fine layer of crystal on the ground.
Constellation slowly levitated Celestial Force, a bag of apples, and a barrel of dragon treats.
Don't you dare Constellation! Shouted Celestial Force as she felt herself being lifted into the air. She had taught Connie this trick with balls and boxes, but the dragon preferred to show it off with living objects.
Constellation focused even more on her display, starting to move them in a circular motion, almost like juggling.
Put me down right now or so help me! I... I-wi... Celestial Force couldn't hold it back any longer, she started to laugh. The feeling of being levitated kind of tickled, and she liked being in the air. It was Connie's way of playing with her pony, and although it looked peculiar it was quite fun.
Still giggling, she could hear the other ponies around starting to laugh at the sight of her floating upside down.
Fifi smiles seeing the strong bond between dragon and dragon master.
Celestial Force smiled back as she was set back down.
What are your dragons like? She asked Fifi
Gem decided to jump from Constellation, landing on Azure's back.
"Oof!" He grunted, before smiling. "You can breath crystal?! You're amazing, Gem!"
She looked up with a proud expression.
"Hopefully, I actually have a friend now..." Azure thought to himself.
In reality, Azure was allowed to come here. He'd been working for the Changelings for a little over 4 years now. The 900 Bits he had were his life savings, and because of how long he'd been there, Her Highness had allowed him to venture out and buy a pet. But Azure knew about how dragons weren't just pets. They were companions, like other ponies. Seeing Celestial Force and Constellation's bond proved that.
Bugsy is very protective of me, but she is very nice. Vestroya is still a baby.
Lt. Turnip is unaware of the activities of the other dragons, but instead continues to play and train with his yet-to-be-named dragon.
"Blitz, will you let me ride you?"
The dragon bent down, and Shade hopped on.
"Thank you."
She steered him to a meadow with a quaint house sitting at the edge of it. She got out a slab of meat, a fish, and a carrot.
"What do you like to eat?"
What kind of magic does Vestroya specialize in? I've never heard of a apocalypse dragon before... she asked Fifi.
Meanwhile, Constellation kept an eye on Gem and her mysterious owner... something was strange. He didn't look like all the ponies she had met.
(Just so you know, Azure IS a pony, just forced to work for the Changelings)
Azure took Gem off his head, before noticing Constellation. He stepped back a little.
"Um, e-excuse me? Your dragon is staring at me..."
I don't know. He breathes fire, other than that I don't know.

Interesting... Said Celestial Force. Maybe she will show signs of different magic, I know Constellation did! I thought she could only levitate until she started showing signs of telepathy.
Turning around, she saw her dragon watching Azure intently.
Constellation, what did I say about staring at strangers? It's super creepy! Scolded Celestial Force, walking over to Azure.

Vestroya jumps down and walks towards Gem. He playfully grunts at her and shows off his fire holding it in his clawed hand seemingly immune to it.
Gem looked at Vestroya's claw, then right at him. Then, she breathed suddenly, covering his face in diamond dust.
Vestroya gives a pouting face at Gem not liking the diamond dust on his face.

Gem began prancing happily around Vestroya, amused by his reaction.
Vestroya brushes off his face and chases Gem playfully swatting her tail.
Lt. Turnip's dragon Verdigris watches the other dragons, waiting to see if the conflict escalates.
Gem appeared to be having fun, running away and hiding behind Azure.
Vestroya goes around Azure and pounces at Gem.
Verdigris's muscles tighten as he watches Gem and Vestroya fight, himself wanting to join in the fray.
Azure backed up a little as the two dragons wrestled. Gem soon got away and jumped onto Azure's head again. Clearly, she was having fun.
Vestroya flies upward getting at Gem's level and inhales sharply.
No no no! Fifi throws water on Vestroya's face making him stop. He lands giving Fifi the pouting face. You're a bad boy. We only battle dragons, not ponies. He looks down still pouting.

Vestroya rescued me from timberwolves a while ago. I don't remember much aside from being engulfed with a golden aura right before we escaped.
A turquoise unicorn stallion with ice blue mane and tail and eyes of green while carrying travel bags strapped to his back, comes walking toward the barn store and sees the dragons out on front of the store and the sign that reads dragon hachery and smiles to himself.

Well i have plenty to choose from. By the sound of it, you want a female. Follow me. Fifi leads Light Sound down a hallway marked with a sign with a pink dragon on it. Might I suggest the Diamond Dragon. She plays a tune on the dragon flute. The dragon runs to Fifi.
Um... I like her and she is beautiful but I just can not go for the first one without looking at a few more baby dragons, may i look at three more female baby dragons so I may choose one from the four?
Fifi nods and plays 3 different tunes on her dragon flute.
A nature dragon, ice dragon, and electric dragon approah Fifi.
Light Sound says "I have made my choice I will buy your baby nature dragon as my companion please" "also what does she like to eat?"
She is an herbivore, so it isnt hard to feed her. Just be careful we she grows up. She will be a life long friend. You get to name her, it completes the bond between her and you.
Light Sound says to the baby dragon in front of him "Um... Your name should be a name that complaints you um... now lets see how about Jessie?" but the baby dragon shakes her head no two times.
Light Sound said to himself with a hoof to his chin: "okay she did not like that name umm... she is green with yellow eyes and has vary pretty flowers on her with little pink, purple, and blue wings um..."
Might I suggest Petals as her name.
"Hmm Petals... Petals! I like that name."
Light Sound is now in front of the baby dragon: "hey girl do you want me to call you Patels?" at that moment she jumps on his back jumping up and down happly.
"She loves that name so much hee hee hey that tickles."
She will be your life long friend, she will listen to you when youve had a bad day, good day, or whatever day you have. She will also protect you.

Now she is sitting on light sounds back enjoying the view.

Light Sound hands fifi the pouch of 15 bits and takes the dragon chow with him and says "think you very much". while petals sits on his back and he trots out the door where the other ponies are.
Vestroya follows the new dragon trainer wanting to play.
Petals hopes down from light sounds back then neges he's leg wanting to play.
"oh what is it petals?" she then runs and hids behind a bush cloes by, but leaves her tail exposed and waging to play while peeping through the bush to see if anyone sees her.
"Oh you want to play hide and seek okay."
Vestroya lunges towards the bush where Petals is hiding and tackles Petals pinning her down on her back.
Petals pushs Vestroya to his back and runs off then turns around to face Vestroya a few feet away staying low waging her tail having fun being cheased.
Vestroya gets up looking at Petals, he walks over and helps her up thinking he hurt her by accident. He nuzzles Petals.
even though Petals is not hurt she nuzzles Vestroya back then she sees a butterfly that lands on a flower and cheases after it for a while, then the butterfly lands on Vestroya"s snout so she stops to look at the butterfly on Vestroya snout.
Relieved that Petals wasnt hurt he smiles as Petals chases the butterfly and sneezes when the butterfly lands on his snout.
Petals giggles at Vestroya sneeze and walks to light sound and hops on his back as they walk toward the other dragon trainers.
"oof you had fun huh petals?" she smiles up to light sound as an answer to he question he smiles back at her Then he says "are you hungry Petals?" she nods and puts a claw at her tummy. Light Sound levitates out the food from his bag and hands a hoof full to her "here you go Petals have some of this." she sniffs the food at first then start to eat the food off he's hoof as he is smiling seeing her eat off he's hoof.
Vestroya returns to Fifi and nuzzles her foreleg.
Nap time little boy. She picks up Vestroya.
Petals finishes the food and light sound trots closer to the others.
Vestroya falls asleep in Fifi's hooves.
Light stops and has an idea and starts looking through his bags, Will looking through his bags says to hiself um... let's see what you can do Petals I think I have a book about dragons in here somewhere um... Ha fou... Ha! nope that not it its for dragon treats aw stomps hoove on the ground for not finding the right book. I well still use that book
Vestroya snores softly in Fifi's embrace.

Vestroya wakes up and runs around LightSound wanting to play.
Petals see Vestroya and sees another dragon an top of a ponys head. Curious she hops off of lightsound back to walk over to the other dragon and the pony.
Vestroya follows Petals still wanting to play.
Petals sees Vestroya and starts runing away Vestroya and towards the dragon on top of the pony's head and around the pony with makering on his body.
Vestroya jumps and flies towards Petals and Gem as if to tackle them.
Petals see this and digs a hole to make a mud mound in front of them to stop Vestroys landing that would have tackled gem, pony, and petals.

As Patales rolls around on the ground making cute giggling sounds
Vestroya lunges and tackles Petals pinning her down. He starts blushing when he realizes that Petals is female.
Aww, that's cute. I think he likes her.
Petals clavrly moves her tail to Vestroya's shoulder and taps it three times and moves it back down quickly to distract him, so she can tackle him.
He looks over his shoulder seeing the tail move away. He is clearly distracted.
Petals takes the chance to pin him down and lets go but not before booping his snot.
He growls playfully and chases Petals.
