I can't believe I haven't tried floating/flying in a lucid dream.
It sounds fun and interesting. Do you actually feel the thrill of flying around (almost like riding a rollercoaster or a fast airplane), or do you basically not feel it at all (like walking)?

This appears to be an over powered OC. He also doesn't seem to fit in with other ponies from Equestria.

Allow me to explain.

The first troubling thing about him is his tortured past. I don't even know what happened to him in his past, but the usage of the word "torture" automatically derail him from the My Little Pony theme of Friendship is Magic. I highly doubt even the meanest of ponies torture each other.

Second, his uncontrollable rage that nearly destroyed Equestria. Exactly how is this possible? He doesn't even have a cutie mark yet and he can go berserk and leave a trail of destruction in his wake... as an earth pony, so there isn't even any magic involved. Is he a monster of some sort? I've never seen even the strongest of earth ponies being this... dangerous.

Swords, I'll never agree with them. Ponies do not wield swords outside of visual gags. Same with guns and anything else that requires hands to hold, although I'm specifically disapproving on things designed to injure.

I would love to see you make a... happier OC.

Actually, Apple Bloom has used fencing foils before, so ponies can actually hold things, despite their hooves. As for injuring, most cartoons that use swords do not actually cut other people. Basically, weapons in cartoons are designed to just make someone fall down or move them backward. I do see you're point with torture, though, I can turn it down to "rough" or "hard".

It was meant to be exaggerated, as backstories from outcasts are never 100% true, but I'll  add more detail to his "rage" that made him that "dangerous." Hopefully it'll make sense for you when it's finished.

I decided to take a stab at creating my fist pony OC,at six in the morning, tell me if I'm missing something or you have any suggestions. I'm pretty tired right now, so I don't know if I have everything.

Name: Charred Flame (Nicknamed Char for short)
Race: Earth Pony
Gender: Male
Favorite Food: Sliced Chocolate Cream Pie
Appearance: Black pony with a red mane, in Pinkie Pie's style, red hoves, and red eyes. (See my Ponytar for an example)
Cutie Mark: Sword. Char's special ability is swordfighting,fencing,cutting, basically anything that has to do with a sword.
Resides: Ponyslvania, not too far from Fillydelphia.
History: Char had a rough past, and almost everypony knew who he was. Many years ago, he had uncontrollable rage that nearly destroyed a town in Equestria. He was banished to prevent any harm from ever happening again, and to this day he hides as an outcast in Ponyslvania, hoping to restore his honor.
He obtained his cutie mark after using one to protect himself in the dark alleys of Ponyslvania. Eventually he was trapped in a corner by the Dragonsburgh Stealers, and he realized the only thing he could do is stand and fight. It took a sheer amount of luck for him to be able to use a sword so skillfully, and it was the only way he could've survived, and not by running. He proudly displays his sword cutie mark like a badge. After learning his true swordfighting skill, he named his sword Fireknight.
