from what i understand, yes. All the ponies who originally woke up on the Solar Arrow were the cryosleep ponies meant for rebooting the Equestrian race.

maybe the cryosleep ponies were all spread out across the different ships or something? So then if one got attacked you wouldn't lose all the VIPs.

All of our OCs woke up from said cryosleep (with the exception of like, 2 or 3), so adding this in pretty much breaks the canon.

F1r3w0rks has just informed me that he will be taking a hiatus from this RP. Due to the stress from college, work and life things, he hasn't had much time or motivation to post. Somewhere on the outskirts of the city, a train from Manehattan pulls into the station, as many ponies file out of it's cars. Among these ponies was a young mare by the name of Sparkle Chord, who was visiting Canterlot for the first time. As the young mare stepped off the train and followed the crowd into the city's gates, she took a deep breath. This was it. Her first day away from home. After 17 years of living in Manehattan with her parents, she was finally heading out to see the world. Taking in the sights of the sparkling city, Sparkle marveled at the pristine white buildings and golden spires of Equestria's capital. The whole place gave off a regal aura, filling the mare with a sense of excitement. Taking a moment to search through her saddlebags, Sparkle pulled out a map and quickly examined it. Assuming she was reading this thing right, her destination was on the other side of town. Letting out a sigh, she began walking in the direction of the magic school she was supposed to attend. The walk would be a long one, but with every step her heart grew lighter, the excitement of attending a school specially for magic building within her quickly.

I think there's been a bit of confusion ^^;
I could be wrong, but from Onyx's post, it seemed like Selle wasn't aware of the presence of Sparkle and Nightlight, which would imply she's in a different room, since she literally would have to have walked over Sparkle to get to the freezer, since she was standing in the doorway. Though it's impossible to reach the freezer without going through the kitchen, so either Onyx made an error or we did ^^;

Glad to see so many people are interested in the subject ^^ for awhile I thought I was the only one curious about this kinda thing ^^; I actually ended up writing a short essay type thing on DeviantArt about unicorn magic based on a random idea I had one night xD if y'all are interested you can check it out here:

TL;DR I came to pretty much the same conclusion you guys did xD my guess is that unicorns could probably learn as many spells as they want, but their power level is what either enables or prevents them from performing spells. The rest relies on the individual's desire to actually learn the spells. The article has a lot more detail

well, for starters you might want to fill out the sign up sheet ^^;
other than that, i'm pretty sure Onyx's ship is still docked on the Solar Arrow (our ship), so you could probably just walk in from the other ship xD i'd recommend checking with Scarlet and Onyx on that though ^^;
