My opinion with it is... "ok". I mean, it's an average J-RPG, with some retro reminiscences wich will make standar fans of the genere very happy, and it has some nice art resources and nice themes on the OST so not bad, but i neither see anything cool enough or interesting to tell "Ey, this is "Great", so i guess in my personal case, it is ok XD.

I just saw how "Ubisoft" redifined all the "J-RPG" genere with "Child of light", so i guess i've been influenced by that game when i make my valoration about "Bravely" XD

Started playing X again to raise some pokemon for fun, right now I'm working on an all-eevee team. It'll mainly feature the first three, leafeon, espeon, and sylveon.

Ultimately I want to complete the dex but since that's virtually impossible legitimately I'm waiting to see how pokegen will handle this game. I've never completed the national dex on any pokemon game before.

I completed it on "Red" when i was a kid, and never again, is just a ton of work to get them all, specially if they keep getting released on exclusive events XD

I managed to get the download cd from the gamecube years ago and currently have 3-4 ready to toss out. Any more than that I can do, but it will just take a bit due to all the trading/swapping involved to get it up to current gen.

Send me one and i'll make you fan art XD (Or you could just send it to me for free  )

Ah I see, if I have to team up with people that often I should probably stay away then >_>;

Then again if there's hardly any challenge now, I'm guessing you're saying that solo-ing is possible?

Again I'm not one of those "I'm too cool to work with others" type of folks, I just like to unwind and escape whenever I log onto an MMO, often enjoying the atmosphere.

I think that's why I play Tera so much, just riding on horseback on long stretches of land is good enough for me (I still do quests, but I stop and smell the roses essentially)

Then you should try GW2, you can literally solo the whole thing without having to look for anybody in particular, since the rewards and exp are shared between everyone that hitted the same mob or participated on the same event without partying 

And yeah, Mabinogi is now pretty much solo-ing possible, they readjusted the whole thing and quests to make it more "Newbie" friendly and allowing people to do things by their own. Not the kind of game i usually like (I'm more of a "party" kind of guy you know  ), but you could try if you feel like doing it perfectly

I used to play, but when i hitted lvl 40 i was so bored of the questing and PVP than i decided it was about time to stop there and do something worth with my life (yeah, still stuck there, but i'm trying  )

Anyways,

The only thing I liked about Terra was the combat system. The lvling and char systems could learn something from Mabinogi and the quest and social systems could learn something from WOW.

If you just want something light to fool around in Terra is your game but if you want something you can sink 1000+ hours in and still love I'd recommend Mabinogi. Any game you have to read a book about just to play is worth it.

Those are pretty interesting :O

The art for Mabinogi looks quite nice, but I'm not sure I like the 3D models also I dunno if I can be THAT dedicated to an MMO (outside of LoE I mean ;D)

WoW I'm sure is good, (it's popular for a reason!) but my only concern is that I would become one of those people whose lives were ruined by that game (I...kinda have an addictive personality haha)

Dang there was another game I was gonna ask about but I forgot what it was

I spent like 4 years on Mabinogi, it was (was being the key word) so cool, i'm a bit hardcore gamer and i found the combat system and the balancing on the mobs pretty ineteresting, you had to party with people for everything... i even had to party to kill some outside town wolves on my first attemp of playing the game XD (so much good old memories of dying and losing my stuff by murdering bears  ).

Now they turned it into a pretty average MMO with some japanese fanservice here and there and no challange at all

I did, it took 3 days untill somebody decided to trade my lvl 1 female Snivy for a Whimsicott, that's why i was asking here, not because i didn't want to use the GT 

Pokémon - CoroCoro Reveals

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming movie, Diancie & the Cocoon of Destruction. This reveals the details of the Diancie event. It will be distributed in theates in Japan from July 19th to September 30th. Diancie is Level 50 and has the moves Diamond Storm, Reflect, Moonblast and Return. It's holding a Normal Gem. We'll bring more details as it comes.

Eh... why a Normal Gem... Shouldn't it be holding a Rock or Fairy Gem?

Weird decission there indeed, i don't get why she comes with such item 

Any info about when western public will be able to get this pokemon?, i don't wanna think we are going to have to trade it from japanese users again

all I remember is the garbage games that square-Enix puts out like FFXIII & FFXIV

Yep, is pretty sad to see how the quality of the work from Square has been downgraded since the fusion. Though, there are some games i still like from them, but i just can't see the same amount of pasion for what they are doing as they used to have in the past.

And i have to say that i was surprised to see how dissapointing was the second release of FFXIV, i didn't noticed any improvement since the first version, no cool mechanics or anything worth to mention, it is just grinding all the day, with no even a good story to accompany it, i wonder what they were doing all that time, the didn't repair the server issues or most of the bugs

Something I've been wanting to share ever since I found out (thanks to one of my friends from another community):



I can't believe I didn't notice this sooner!

They look like a same layout of the area except for certain obstacles and item locations and not to mention the signs too.

One of the main appeals for this gen, and the reason i actually bought it after not getting a single Pokemon game since gen 3, were precisely that kind of references and tributes to the older gens, specially gen 1. It brings back some old gaming memories.

I liked it too, but I guess they're not bringing it back because of how repetitive it was.

I heard it was mostly because of the "Cutscenes". Apparently someone on the developing team wanted that scenes to be something special and unique for players to see, but when they were laked into the internet, everybody was able to see them and it destroyed his dream... or something like that, it's actually a really silly reason, but wherever you search, you won't hear anything logic for not including a mode like that again XD.

Here's the declaration of Sakurai:

"Unfortunately, the movie scenes we worked hard to create were uploaded onto the internet. You can only truly wow a player the first time he sees [a cutscene]. I felt if players saw the cutscenes outside of the game, they would no longer serve as rewards for playing the game, so I've decided against having them."

Depends. Are they bringing back something like Subspace Emissary again, or will it be something like SSBM's adventure mode (if anything)?

Yeah, there are going to be "Bosses" and even some Collaborative  stages to fight giant enemies as we could see in some screenshots, so i guess there's gonna be a somekind of "Arcade" mode, similar to the first game, since they already said there won't be anything like the "Subspace emissary", for reasons that doesn't look very convincing, but they are not including something like that again apparently.

As always, i don't actually like the shiny color pattern for this Pokemon. They could try to make it better, not just a "Darker" version of her (which is ironic being a "Shiny" version XD)

I'm still wondering why there's no secuel to that game, the mechanics were interesting, and it was overall a very cool diferent way to play super Mario.

You know, "Mario Sunshine", "Brilliant". Shiny and "Brilliant" are synonyms. It's a joke XD
