My DVR didn't record the new Steven Universe episode, so I had to find it online to watch it.
Yes, I could've set it to record the rerun and waited until then, but I would've had to avoid certain groups in order to avoid spoilers. I actually almost read a spoiler before I realized it was Monday.

I had this problem with the latest episode of My Little Pony, i'm not sure why my DVR didn't record it either, it's on the 2nd list of most important to record with Star Vs The Forces Of Evil at the top but that show doesn't run enough to interfere with Mlp recordings...

I have such a bizarre since of humor. Tonight I was assigned the (mind-numbingly boring) job of standing where the conveyor belts merge and watching to make sure nothing gets stuck and back up the line. Most of the boxes have the company logo on them, but one line had boxes that were just blank with the words "CORN DOGS" printed on them in black letters...I couldn't stop laughing at it.

That's not even the least bit funny! God, I'm weird.

Going out for a burger at the crack of dawn because it's dinner time to you and having no clue why everything is closed. Went to 3 places and got frustrated with everything being closed and tried to think if it was a holiday or something before finally realizing "Wait, it's 6:30 in the morning."

Our cats keep getting on my laptop's keyboard! I walked away to make a sandwich and came back to find a cat on my keyboard, and the video I had paused was playing!

Hey, anything to pass the time, right?
And...I laughed at just the mental image, so you're not the only one. X3

When someone pulls some derp on me, gets scott free, then everyone loves them so they rub it in your face unintentionally with their "Hey, look what (said person) did! Look what (said person) said! Isn't (said person) so awesome?" while no once notices me just awkwardly in the corner whenever they become the subject...
This is a recurring theme in my life.

Of course...being the sweet person I am...(Or at least that's what people say)I just let it happen...
So these people get away with these things because they can't own up to what they did and I refuse to bring to light what they did...it's not my place to.

Of course...if they were brought to light I know everyone in my life would side with them.
Is it any wonder why I live online?

One thing that annoys me, a consistently running theme, is people believing those with a motive to lie.

In every situation where an adult is not around, when me and my cousin, or my cousin alone, screws up, they believe his version of the events, that make him innocent of everything. He's been known to lie and deceive, and he has a motive to try to lie to help himself out. With me, I blame myself for everything, I admit my shortcomings, when I'm an idiot, when I have done something stupid. Whenever I tell them anything, they think I'm trying to shift the blame or lie, when I have no motive to!

The lying scoundrel who's the same age as me, have hidden far more than I ever have, who has smoked vapor cigarettes, is known for causing trouble, and doesn't care to even stay in school, apparently is more reliable than me, who hasn't done any of that, cares to try to maintain Straight A's, and has no motive to lie due to the aforementioned points.

It's ridiculous, but I suppose that's to be expected, I'm just the stupid crap that spends his time helping people online and living his life how he enjoys it, that makes me an unreliable sack of garbage to my family it seems!

When people complain about things that could be fixed super easily if they just stood up to there parents a little, i mean like there will come a day where the child has to stand up and take responsibility for there own mistakes or successes but if they don't stand up toward there parents they will just turn out to be obedient dogs or something

Why does Danger Dolan never seem to narrate his own videos anymore? The vids just aren't the same when they're narrated by that American dude with the world war 2 drill sergeant's voice.

Some parents are extremely harsh when it comes to punishment and become overly angry about their kid standing up to them.
And some parents are abusive, and it's a bad idea for a kid to try to stand up to their abusive parents. :c

Some parents will actually lock the front and back doors of the house at curfew, so if their kid comes home late, even just a couple minutes past curfew, the kid has to sleep outside. This actually counts as neglect, and the parents can get in trouble for it. It's extremely dangerous to lock your kid outside at night, due to exposure to the elements, any animals that might be wandering around, any creepy strangers who might be out, and any parasites they could pick up sleeping on the ground.

My friend's parents aren't abusive or neglectful, but if she tried to stand up to them about certain things, they'd probably get mad. She has anxiety issues and can break down crying if anyone yells at her, so she'd rather avoid being yelled at.

And then there are the kids whose parents ignore everything their kid says just because they think they're right and their kid is wrong, so the kid feels there's no point in trying to stand up to them because their parents will never listen.

So, the Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep opening music video has a bunch of parts where colors get grayed out and stuff.
I discovered that the Japanese version of the opening music video (as in, the version from the original Japanese game) doesn't have that! That stupid "Let's gray out random colors for no good reason" effect isn't in the Japanese version!

Why did they do that in the American version?! It's so dumb! >:/

I can already tell having a credit card has made me looser with my spending. It's an odd psychological effect credit cards have. I mean, if I just had $500 more sitting in the bank it wouldn't make me want to spend more, but having a credit card with that limit makes me feel like I have a buffer. Like I'm not really spending the money I put on the card.

...what I really need to buy is a freaking bed. I've been sleeping on an air mattress for 7 months now.  >:/

So... as some of you know I'm trying to get into music making...
So... as some of you know I can't play too well, so I'm starting off with just a vocal cover and moving up from there...
So... as some of you know... I don't get a bit of privacy at all...ever...not even in our only bathroom.

I hate this, I want to get this thing done, I've been trying to for 2 weeks but I never can due to no privacy...
this is just the tip of the ice berg for my derp...ugh...

I already stood up to my parents who were also very abusive but afterwards the abusing stopped cause they knew i would not take it anymore with out fighting back a little

honestly though standing up to an abusive adult is one of the most frightening things i have ever done especially when your so small compared to them and feel like they could get away with anything at anytime but given my own experiences i truly believe you just HAVE TO stand up to them no matter what might happen next

I have personal experience in that regard. I stood up to my abusive mother by completely leaving to live with my Dad, and my attempts to cut connections with her. Trying to pack up everything and get away from her wasn't too easy.

In regards to during my time there, even saying hi caused her to grow violent and start yelling and berating, so fighting against what she said or thought was right was terrifying.

Nowadays though, it was worth not just standing by and letting it happen. If anyone here is going through a situation like that, and needs someone to talk to, I'm always here for you. Contact me on here, Skype(ninjachase1), or Steam(cyrocker1, display name Raven³).
