I know the filter can be hard to make conversation with right now but right now it's doing it's job more than it is impeding others. It is a pre-alpha quality chat filter and we all need to be patient with it.

Its been a while since I've tried this. I did check out your original test months ago, however I cannot remember, is my log in for the forums the same as the game, or were they different.
I must make it only if mcsleuth can help me in time for 3 o clock tommorrow

Keep trying! I know it's frustrating, but the situation with the log in server has improved for most players since we opened up on Friday.

My other sister (I have 4 sisters, one is a baby) had the email problem but she recieved it after doing Missed activation email thing twice. And we want to meet on capriole so can you other players let us in? And tiger,m do you want to meet be so we can have a race or hide and seek or something?

Actually, if it pop-ups "couldn't log-in: 508 unused" or an real long message it makes looks non-sence, it's because the server might be way too full, and it can't take more log-ins from players. In other words, it's a way to keep some players away logged-in so it might doesn't cause so many disconnects or lag (There is lag, I know, but it's not that much, except on PonyVille).
So all you might need to do is:
1 - Wait 'til most of the players log-out or
2 - Attempt to connect any of the servers.

Okay so I downloaded the game and my dad and I are confused that the game itself won't load.... And this seems really complicated with the 7zip stuff and neither of us can figure it out. Also we downloaded the game and kind find the file anywhere even though we saved it to downloads.

step by step:
1.download the game

4.Log-In with your account in forum
5.select server (there is 3 servers)
6.Create Character

I just started the other night, so it's kinda short for me :P
Whenever I try to connect to any server, it tries to load for a bit, and then gives me the following message:
"Failed to connect. Failed to establish connection - no response from remote host"
Is anyone else able to login but is unable to connect to the server? This has been happening to me for the past half-hour..
No 508s... just says couldn't login. What message does it display when the servers are closed?
It gives me the really long message/string of code, whatever it is.
That's only happened to me once before, though, the rest of the time I get the connection error.
This sums up my response.

Also, Piaffe seems to be lagging heavily for me, the animations and the stamina bar is delayed for about 30 seconds. Not sure if that's just the amount of people playing.

Still doesn't help at all.... Also it won't download in Firefox because that question mark isn't there!!! So I used Internet explorer and once it got done downloading it jut didn't save it to my files and I don't know what happened. And we don't know how to "extract" files. D:

Right click the LoE exe file and select "Run Program as administrator"

Is LoE even working for anyone right now? It still won't connect to any server for me.
and suddenly it's easier to login... probably because more than half are unaware that you extended the duration of this event....
For some reason, when I downloaded it, it just became a link to an internet page (it looks like a piece of paper with the internet explorer icon on it, i'm not sure what thats called) and it just sends me to the downloads page when I try to open it. Anyone know whats wrong? I really want to play but I don't really know what I'm doing X3
If anyone knows how to fix or explain, please do :D (Oh, I'm using a windows seven computer, if that helps)

It does that randomly. I too get it, sometimes. You just gotta keep trying. Remember that the game is still in Alpha, so there is a lot that still needs fixing, building and polishing!
I've been seeing some responses to those who have been trying to get on. They get told to just keep trying. Keep trying?! There are those like myself who have been TRYING for four days and still can't get in. I have at one point been trying to login for four hours straight and nothing. I have read that someone from your team got fired for trying to suggest more servers and that someone complained about how it would cost more money, well that should have been thought of before creating the game in the first place don't you think?

You have thousands of fans including me and excite us and make us hyped up and saying "OMG i wanna play so bad!!!" then you get tiny servers that can only handle like 50 people at a time and use a lame escuse: "It's in pre-Alpha." I went to the library on the first day to download it only to discover it only comes out at night. I went back home. I went to another library a second day and downloaded it. I was stuck on the login screen. On facebook you said "Keep trying!" Still didn't work. Went home, didn't go again. And I think after this horribly dissapointing "Open server weekend" event, i cannot find more reasons to follow this game anymore. I won't be coming back here. For a long time. Those of you with internet and nothing else to do with your life, enjoy the game. Goodbye.

Well, I know the reason for a Pre-Alpha release is to find problems and fix them. I found one right off the bat. The Game freezes my computer upon starting it up.
I might miss this by like, an hour. I am sads. (Just registered)
I at least got in on a Backy party before the open servers closed down, was fun if your the type of person who enjoys setting up dance lines/shapes while reading the chat box and having conversations.
So it's been 10 minutes since the supposed shutdown and I'm still in. O.o What's going on?

Oh well, too they might have shutdown the log-in servers. It would be too ironic if the servers was still up to log-in if they're shutting it down.
Also, you're only logged-in on your current server because all they did at the moment is: Close the log-in servers.
They are down, I just logged out and can't log back in. You should be able to stay in the server until restart I believe. I'm not 100% sure though.

My Opinion About The Alpha V2:
The secound version of the Alpha was great enough for me. The Community is a wonderful thing, the game have wonderful things too. Even after those bugs and glitches, it was fun to play Legends of Equestria.
I still remember the day when I heard of it on Equestria Gaming, I mean, it was the best thing I ever commited by visiting Equestria Gaming to see the news. I saw the post about Legends of Equestria there. That's how I arrived here.
It was just a bit sad when I lost my character, Woona on a glitched map, but afterall I could get her back, even if they closed the connections.
This game. This game was fantastic. Simply fantastic. I have no words to describe how much I liked this alpha.
When I heard about the V2 Alpha, I was happy like there was no tomorrow. I made an note for myself so I could remember the day it was going to release.

Don't worry, it's very unlikely. LOE will not be using any of the canon characters, so any Cease & Desist would be unreasonable on Hasbro's part.

We're extremely sorry to hear that, but they can't just keep the game open! It needs work, so the next time they open the game to the public, it'll be even better! :D
