Bronies in a sitcom context

Yeah, that's kind of old and it still annoys me.
They really should've done more research. If they had, they would've known that the vast majority of bronies cosplay as human versions of ponies. The ones who cosplay in fursuits are the minority.

I think they pegged it pretty well. They captured why people enjoy the show; the positivity, mostly. So what if they make fun of the minority that cosplays? They exist, and it's ok to poke fun at things.

True. I suppose you're right.
And having him use a fursuit made it especially awkward for his date, more than cosplaying a humanized version would.

As long as he's a normal character in other respects, I don't really see a problem. At least he' not a fedora-toting spaghetti factory.

Well about the fursuit on television they have to exaggerate because they want an emotional reaction out of the audience. But I think the way he defended himself was dead on how bronies do respond to opposition.
