I am doing a small project on fear, and I would love to hear what you all fear most.
And I don't mean things like spiders or snakes. For example, What I fear the most is the inability to control what is happening.
(Feel free to have more than one fear)
My baby brother's health. >.< Being around trees in the dark, I had a night terror where I was in the forest at night and a hooded figure was walking around while a bird sang eerily. That exact thing happened one night when I was getting my cat inside.
if i had to fear something it would well actually i dont fear that much. im not even afraid to die. but i guess cougars.

I've seen some cougars that I could punch and they probably run away. I don't fear much as long as I have my .22 rifle.

I fear the unknown.
I believe I have a phobia of giant human faces/heads, disembodied or not. I say this because nothing in my entire life, not a single thing, has terrified me more than the moon from Majora's Mask. That thing, essentially, traumatized the entirety of my childhood; to this day I still have the occasional nightmare about it.
It just looms over you the whole game, staring at you with that look of hatred; Even when you go inside, you have a nice clock to tell you that it's still getting closer. Then at the end, when you call the four giants.... That's easily the most horrifying moment of my entire life.
Normally when something scares me, I apply real world logic to it, and that normally helps. But you can't apply logic to that moon, the whole concept is illogical in itself; I can't trust that it abides by what I perceive to be correct physics, it's a massive irate face that wants to crash into you for no reason other than the fun of it.
I'm sorry I ranted a bit there, but I could go on for hours about the rest of Majora's Mask and how it reduces my sanity to a puddle.
Insects (Don't care what type they're all gross)
Natural Disasters
Heights
And almost anything really.

I agree, it quite possibly IS my favorite game because of the effect it's had on me. Games don't do that often, especially at that magnitude.
Anyway, I fear the thought that the events of the story: "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" may happen one day. :x
I fear falling. Any time I'm somewhere high up and I'm afraid, that's what it boils down to - falling. I figured it out when I realized I'm only scared when there's a possibility that I could fall from that height, so I stay away from the edge.
As such, I hate, hate, despise those towers that have glass flooring along the walls. Every time I look at someone, even if it's a photo, standing on that glass and staring out the window, I just wanna scream "Are you crazy?!!!" Even if I'm reassured that the glass won't break, I'd be terrified to look down because it'd look like I'm standing on air. :c
Also, I sometimes panic when I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. It freaks me out, and depending on what the situation is, I may get frustrated, cry, or both.
I fear dying, but only when i haven't said all i wanted to (like to my friends), or doing what i wanted to :'(
In another way, i fear the changing of status quo of the planet, like some epic war start or epic cataclism happens, or aliens comes D: But in some way, i would like the last option ... :')

The possibility of dying without stuff left unsaid used to scare me too. Easy fix: write (but don't send) a bunch of letters, then leave them in the care of someone you really trust, with instructions to distribute in case of untimely demise.

Me too. It looks so ridiculous o_O
My fears a bit odd, I guess it doesn't seem like a normal one, I'm actually afraid of getting old not so much being old itself but more or less the chance of not being able to move when your old
I can't imagine being old and unable to walk around it feels like something stupid to be afraid of, X3 but I am afraid of it to the point where I'm going to make sure I exercise my entire life in hopes that I won't lose the ability to walk by keeping legs arms and such in shape.
Another fear I have is outliving relatives/friends It's probably another dumb fear to have, and I guess it happened after my Grandpa and Aunt died
12 or so years ago since I was close to both of them.
(Hopefully I'm not depressing anyone, I'm an optimist so I generally don't let things get me down but these are some of the fears I have.)
I have a very irrational fear of puke.
That's probably my biggest fear to be honest.
I am also scared of giant bugs... and small bugs for that matter.
And the afterlife.

I don't wanna see someone puke. If I find puke, it doesn't stink to me. But if I see someone puke,
then it stinks to me. It's weird. It's like I'm immune to a lot of stinky smells. Even if I do smell them, they usually don't register as "stinky", just "weird". So I don't really get all the fuss about stuff like skunk spray and formaldehyde "stinking."
And, Trege, I hope you're good at swallowing pills, especially anti-inflammatory ones. Arthritis is such a hassle, and a lot of younger people who don't have it underestimate it. The immune system causes inflammation in certain joints, which causes swelling, stiffness, and pain. Usually, that pain can end up pretty bad. If it's in your knees, you don't wanna walk during flare-ups.
Needless to say, I don't really fear most pain at all. Too much experience with dealing with it has dulled my fear of it. The only kinds of pain I can think of that I do still fear are
1. Breaking a bone. I broke a toe once, and that actually hurt pretty bad. Bigger bones hurt even worse, which is a scary thought.
2. Medical needles.
Can't believe I didn't remember to list medical needles before. It's mostly out of childhood trauma. Getting a shot, I can handle rather fairly. It's getting my blood drawn that really gets to me. Without a doubt, I end up gripped with fear while having my blood drawn. One time, I felt like I was about to have a panic attack.
Don't underestimate the lasting effect things have on children.

It's not just other people puking, I hate puking myself, I can't even describe how terrified I am of it. Like, if I start to feel sick, I get panic attacks. I am petrified of it.. >A<
I'm afraid of pain.. and seeing blood. But only in person. I can handle TV blood, and movie blood, because I know it's fake, (for the most part anyway unless it's excessive) but seeing blood in person makes my stomach flip. Which them brings me back to my fear of puke.
I've never had to get blood drawn, and I hope I never have to... >.< (although I know the chances of that are slim.)
I'm not afraid of pain or death really, just not being able to walk when I'm old, (It feels odd being bothered about age related injury since I'm only 20, and probably won't have to deal with any of it for a long long time, which is why I said the fear is a bit odd.) ovO
I broke my leg and my arm once breaking bones kind of dulled lesser pains for me, I broke them when I was younger, although getting blood drawn was kind of creepy when they needed it after I broke my arm.

Ah. Hopefully you won't end up with your arthritis focused in your knees like mine is, then. It makes it hard to walk when you have a flare-up. And before anyone starts wondering, no I'm not old. I'm 19. I've had arthritis since the age of 3, but it's in remission now, which means it's dormant.

Probably because you can't breathe while puking. :c I hate puking too, but I'm not afraid of it. I rarely puke anymore, though, ever since I discovered mind over matter. If I start feeling nauseous, I just think to myself over and over "I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm not gonna, I feel fine, I'm not sick, I'm fine, I'm not gonna" So unless my body feels a massively important need to puke, the mind over matter works.
And yeah, the chances of never having blood drawn are kinda slim. Doctors have to test blood to diagnose quite a few things. They also have to test blood to check on arthritis. >:/ And vitamin and mineral levels, which reminds me, the doctor I've been seeing wants me to have a checkup in a month or so, so she can draw more blood and check on my Vitamin D and iron levels. Son of a

Fears, eh?
I fear a grat many things, such as all buzzing bugs, walking alone in a dark small space, walking on tall manmade things, and also the odd one of tools getting near my toes.
Well, that's most my fears, though the worst two are the buzzing bugs, and the tolld near toes, I get a panic attack whenever I'm exposed to any of the two.
The other fears are more things that I'm very uncomfortable with.
I'm not particularly tough with regard to pain, but needles don't bother me much. I'm told that upon receiving my first shot (while I was still a baby), my only reaction was to glare quietly at the nurse. I may not be now, but I was kind of cool as a bady. :/

Meh, I always do that...but...that doesn't stop my sickness. :x But I only do that when I KNOW I'm going to puke, however I get nauseous a lot, but don't puke much. (thank celestia)
And I dunno about that.. everytime my friend goes to the..ehem..lady doctor, she has to get blood drawn. o_o I'm hoping that's just her doctor though, mine has never said anything about needing to draw any. *deep sigh of relief*

I think they usually give the shots in the cats' and dogs' scruffs, so it hurts a lot less. But my cat Rose didn't take her shot very well, since she seemed in pain afterward and just wanted to lay in my lap and not move. Poor baby. She made her weird angry "Meh nyeh mn mn neh!" noises at me any time I needed to move her.

This is slightly off topic, but, my dogs got their shots in the flank, or well.. the hip? haha and they flipped out. One of them tried to bit the nurse. (but that was because the nurse was super rude and he could sense that she was a meanie and that made him uncomfortable.) and the other one had an allergic reaction or something and his whole face puffed up. ono
To stay on topic~
I am also afraid of war... knowing all the terrible things that've happened in history.. I never wanna be alive during a war like WWI or II... ((I would say I never wanna be alive during a war at all, but there is always war. :I ))

Eugh, yes.
The last time I tried to give blood, the person inserting the needle hit the wrong place on my arm... not only did it hurt a lot, it made the area around it swell up until it was huge, and they weren't even able to get more than a few drops of blood. And then they told me I couldn't give blood for another two months, just on the technicality that they got a tiny bit from me that time... >:/
The 'usual' stuff that humanity fear too. Like being eaten alive, drowning, not finding love, things like that.
I hate rollercoasters. I could list everything small that I fear, but I'd be here all day. On the note of shots, I got a shot in the mouth when getting some cavities filled and the dentist didn't even bother to warn me. She just called it numbing. It wasn't that bad, but when I felt it pierce the skin I knew it was a shot and it freaked me out a bit.
I have a fear of heights and the sky. My fear of the sky kicks in if I'm in a very wide open space or up in a high place, doubling how bad my fear of heights is. It's sad really. I tried to look a the night sky through a telescope my dad bought for me and my brother but got too scared and ran inside. :'(
I suddenly realize I have a horrible fear of death... that is all :\
I fear that the ringing in my right ear drives me crazy.
My ear has been ringing for 4-6 years.
Being stuck. At least, that's the common thread in any and all bad dreams I have. It doesn't necessarily have to be cement or quicksand, but sometimes it will be something like Shen Yu (from Mulan) and his mongol hordes surrounding my grandpa's house. They can't get in, and I know that, but because I'm stuck, I'm really, really annoyed.
Last night is another example. Dreamed I was an American spy in Germany (WWII era) and escaped. My family was (it's a dream, it doesn't have to be logical) vacationing there, but couldn't take me back. So, I was stuck in Germany, until I could figure a way out. And, when I did figure something out, a cat totally ruined my plans. Bad cat! So, I would say that the idea of being stuck, more than the actual physicality of being stuck, is what hounds me most.
I have a fear of elevators. I also have a fear of being in a place with too many people.
One day when I went to London on a holiday, my hands kept on twitching when I went into a shop that had to many people in it. I felt like screaming and running out the exit. I kept on asking my sister if we could leave the shop, but she kept on saying 'in a min'. It felt like hours. I also have a fear of getting angry, I don't know why....

Also, anything that buzzes. It doesn't matter if it's a wasp, fly, or even a lawn mover. My brain thinks that it MIGHT be a wasp or a bee, even if I know it's not. It started when a wasp got stuck in my hair and stung me. I'm told that wasps and bees only sting when you smack them or when they get stuck, but hey, ever since that thing with the wasp happened, I don't trust them anymore. Bleh. I hate buzzing things. >:(
I don't fear spiders at all. 'Cause we don't have any kind of Spider that attacks you here in Sweden ^-^
I have a paranoia issue that mostly pops up after I've watched a scary movie or creepy videos.
Though, that paranoia pops up in a silly way sometimes because of Minecraft. o.O Instead of "If I open this door... will a zombie/mutant/demon be on the other side?" it becomes "If I open this door... will a creeper be on the other side?"
I forgot to mention, I also have a fear of the dark. Not like "in my house and the lights are all out" kind of dark. I mean like "In my Arizona house where there living room has massive windows looking over the property and it's pitch black outside, and I have to go outside to do something and the flashlight happens to be almost dead" kind of dark.

So many people have Arachnophobia.
I own a HUGE TARANTULA named Herbert/Hurbert
The funny thing is that most tarantula aren't poisonous, their one of the least threatening arachnid out there. The only thing you have to watch for is that they can flick their hair into the air which can get into the eyes and hurt.

I'm quite afraid of some supernatural stuff and certain places with dark rumors about them. Why do I mention this while quoting this conversation? It reminded me of a haunted bridge that seems to possess dogs.

People've witnessed dogs that actually make it down. The dog will actually climb back up, walk back onto the bridge, and then jump off again. They'll do it over and over until they can't anymore.

That makes little sense, and it doesn't make it any less creepy. DD: It may not actually be paranormal, but it's still sad and creepy, and it confuses a lot of people.
What if one dog smelled something, another dog smelled him, etc. etc.?
I... I don't know. Dogs usually stand there and sniff until they're satisfied, don't they? That's my experience with walking a dog. Those dogs must be insane if they're going "Hey, I smell a dog here. He went this way. *Leaps off the bridge* Owww! Let's try that again because I don't see him here. *Crawls back up and leaps off* Owwww! Let's try that again."

MUCH LIKE LIFE ITSELF ovO
If it was supernatural, wouldn't the dog just be barking; maybe running away with its tail low?
((I piece to together what I know))
After some - by some I mean a quick Google search and a click on one of the first, most believable looking links - research, I found this explanation:
A dog does not fully comprehend the nature of a bridge. If it cannot see what is on the other side of the railing (solid stone in this instance), it will assume that what it sees is a wall, and that the ground on the other side of the wall would be level with the bridge surface. If something attractive to the dog (a sound or scent) is on the other side, there is a risk the dog will leap over the edge to investigate. In the case of Overtoun Bridge the lure may have been the scent of mink, but the same basic principle could apply anywhere in the world.
Source: I would put the source, but the link uses a term that the rules of the forum isn't all too fond of, so google: bridge that dogs jump off. It should be the second one, if you really care at all about the credibility of my source.
I'm not proving/disproving anything, I could care less really, this is just some half hearted, 1AM explanation. Also I may as well throw out that this is getting just a wee bit off topic.

Ever have a dream based around the short story: I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream?
Not fun.... :l
Mine are usually based around personal concerns and fears.
Mine are usually just random, confusing, and ADD as buck.
I don't really have nightmares anymore, and even when I do have one, it's actually rather mild. Unless I have a dream involving a spider being in my bed or coming after me, leading to me waking up with my brain going "Get it away, it'll kill you!!" or "It's about to bite!!" That results in the awful feeling of jumping awake.

I don't understand people who can go somewhere like the Grand Canyon and stand right by the edge of a cliff or sit on a cliff! You're all insane! >:O
I get lightheaded when I stand near the side of the grand canyon, yet I can ride the desperado roller coaster no problem. :P

I absolutely hate that feeling. It makes me feel like I was teleported off the edge of a cliff. Leaves me with a high heartbeat rate.

It's worse when you're already asleep, so you're dreaming, you fall, you actually feel like you're falling, so you jump awake, thinking it's real.
I fear no man..but that...thing...it scares me.

Been there, done that. Its worse than real life.
Except for the part where you wake up. Sorta feels like its a second chance when you think about it enough.
My dreams.
They are random, uncontrollable, and make me wonder if I'm secretly being drugged or happen to be insane.
They are incredibly awesome things and sources of inspiration though.
I fear Pinkamena from the Luna Game series since she would scare me to death whenever she would pop in the game. I know it's a game, but if you play the game at night with the lights off, it's scary as hell. Sometimes i even have a hard time sleeping when i have Pinkamena in my dreams and it's one of the reasons why i have a hard time sleeping sometimes. Pinkamena has to be one of my worst nightmares i ever experienced.

Well looks like i won't be sleeping tonight :o
let's see... heights, the dark, insects, any sort of worm/grub, mold, anything to do with rotting...
Insects and spiders FREAK ME OUT :'(
Oh. :c I'm creeping myself out by imagining a fanfic where Applejack finds the rest of the mane six zalgofied.
They end up showing up at her house, so she, Big Mac, Applebloom, and Granny Smith lock themselves in the house. Applejack tells Applebloom to sneak out, get Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo, go to Twilight's library, and get Spike to help them find a book about what's going on and how to fix it.
Pinkie: Are you abandoning meeee? *Creepy head tilt* Let's partyyy.
Twilight: Let's learn a lesson.
Rarity: I must be prettyyyy...
Rainbow: Look at me...
Fluttershy: Just.. love me! Think I'm a pushover, do you?
*Shiver*
anything to do with rotting :]
Waking up to find myself looking down at me, especially if I (they?) have this one smile on their face.
I have only one fear. Fear of being forgotten in the future (after I die) ovO
Being put into one of my own stories.
I use them to vent my emotions, so I basically torture my protagonists.
Apparently they're great to read.
I just realized one... being buried alive

enclosed spaces, or limitation to movement

eeyup.
oh, and I fear being abandoned. not being alone, but being abandoned.
Being given the 'gift' of living forever.
Oddly I would not care the cost of living forever as the only thing I 100% fear is death :I even thou I come from centurions/centarians... I have no clue how to spell it... I come from a family where most of us this day and age live to be over 100 years old
Reason I fear living forever and not dying is because death shuts off all mental functions, you're just nothing, so nothing afterwards can do any harm to you.
Living forever? The mental stress of everyone else dying would get to you before the boredom. After the whole species dies off, you're still there, all alone. If you're literally unable to die, then after the world ends, you are truely forever alone. Living forever is a lonely thing.

Same here in a way. Because the second non-existance happens to you (conciseness death) technically without the ability for a brain to process time. The end of the universe instantly technically comes. with the end of everything. Or at least thats what I fear that it may be like... which seems pretty extreme.

I think of it like this
For all we know, we just died. It is impossible to prove if you are dead or not, when YOU are the one you are talking about.
One day, you just won't continue going on, having reached your limit of doing so.
It's also possible that upon finishing this I will hit that. You could die for any reason at any time, so why worry so much?
I fear being alone. That's 99% my ADHD, hence my constant need to post in forums regardless of it's topic.

Ohhhhhh....... you mean phobophobia! ^-^ They must have lots of phobias which would give them a fear of having more scary things to fear. I also have that problem.
I fear hights, falling, death, non-existance/death, vampire bats, insects, spiders, scorpians, the dark, being alone, blood, and phobias.
And fearing phobias means you fear fear itself.
But I am not scared of ghosts for a reason nobody else would understand.
I watched a video of someone playing Slender a while ago. And just now, I had to go to the bathroom, but then I realized I was gonna have to walk down a dark hall, past a dark room with an open door, and into a dark bathroom...
I didn't wanna turn on the hall light because the switch is loud and I didn't wanna bother my mom. So I looked at my mom's cat, and she looked at me, and I picked her up and hugged her tight all the way down the hall. ovO
Being alone in the dark when my imagination keeps running away and creating monsters is scary. :'(
That moment when you drop you phone and it's batteries fall out and you just have to get them in as if they are a beating heart, and if you don't your phone will be gone forever. He you realize you did not check the screen. So you slowly turn it over hoping for dear life it's not broken.
The area above our oven is making this weird noise nonstop, and it's creeping me out. >.< We don't know what the noise is! My mom doesn't seem alarmed by it, but I'm kinda scared.
What kind of a noise is it?
I'm scared of the ocean.

I don't remember the only time I've ever been to a beach. I was a little bitty kid. As soon as water rushed onshore and splashed over me, I ran away screaming that I was going home, but I was many miles from home.
Weeellllll... I can't swim well because I'm terrified of drowning.
Does I have 2 fans on it? He thing above your oven I mean.
No fans, I don't think. The only things above the oven are the part with the temperature dial and the timer we never use, and a cabinet. And the ceiling. But it's sounding like it's coming from directly above the oven, in the area of the thing with the temperature dial on it.
[Edit]: I just ran down the hall, squealing "Pinkie, save me! >A<"

Now THAT would be funny. S'ok, my cousin, whos just a lil less skinny than me but shorter, she cant float or tread water too well. She can freestyle real well though, which I really dont understand coz it makes no sense what-so-ever.
Ha, I almost forgot about my fear of open water. I almost lost my brother one day when he drifted out too far. My mom had to go in after him, screaming at me to run home and get my father, 1/4 mile away. 12 years ago and to this day it still haunts me.
1 1/2 years later I broke through the ice, on the same lake, so that didn't help me get over it.
Teleportation.
If we make it rip a hole in space we could destroy the universe.
If it shifts space, same thing.
If it takes us apart and reassembles us at the molecular (or atomic, or further down) level along with us still being alive, we'd die every time we teleported. The us at the destination would be, for all intents and purposes, us, but it's not US.
I actually forgot that I'm pretty afraid of water as well since I'm not a strong swimmer and haven't been swimming in years until recently since my cousin wanted me to go to the pool and going on the the river vacation that was awhile ago, I can swim underwater fine but I cannot stay above the water unless I doggy paddle which wastes way too much energy to last long, for some reason I just can't tread I'm not sure why myself if I ever fell in deep water I could probably help myself but only if a shore is nearby as I can swim underwater for about a minute or so if I had chance for a deep breath.
The vacation I went on reminded me of this fear. :c
(The irony of this fear is water is my favorite element yet I'm afraid of deep water.)
Spiders
Having no friends
Not being loved
Darkness
Friends being hurt
Not being able to be useful
Losing friends
Pyros
That's about everything...This got me all sad just typing it... >.<
Murky water. You can't tell how deep it is.
I've lived in the house I'm currently living in for about.. 12 years, I think. My bedroom door has a long vertical mirror on it. One day last year, I walked into my room, and I saw a shadow on the wall next to me move toward me, so I panicked and ran to my bed. I stared at the wall like "Oh my god. Oh my god. What was that? Hello? Oh my god."
It was my reflection's shadow or something like that. :l I was actually... literally... afraid of my own shadow.

I HATE spiders...
I was gonna post a picture of a mess of webs between two cars with dozens of big venomous-looking spiders in the webs. But it says "Would you rather walk through this or _______?" The second option is mildly inappropriate. :/ Having to do with a homeless man.
I don't care how gross the second option is, though. I'd rather do that than walk through and anger dozens of big venomous-looking spiders.
The horror....
If my car was the one on the right, I'd get into it through the passenger door ('casue I live in America, and here, the driver's side is the left side) and scoot over into the driver's seat. But then, I'd be pretty afraid to get out of the car. I'd probably try to take a route that'll let me go fast, so I can make all the spiders fall off.
"Hope you like 60 mph! GET OOOOFFFFF! >:O *One crawls on the windshield* Please? >.< *Turns on windshield wipers*"

I removed him after like two weeks, during which he was slowly moving deeper into the shower.

The spiders that come into my house. Most of the time, they're most likely wolf spiders, but I'll never take a chance on any of them possibly being a brown recluse. Nuh uh, never. You're not rotting my flesh with necrosis.
Lately, though, I've seen like.. two with long legs, walking in a super terrifyingly creepy way that seems kind of threatening. The second one was tiny. The first one came out of nowhere on my desk and climbed up my microphone. It wouldn't quit walking with its front two legs waving around in front of it. >.< Seemed dangerous and freakish.

By the way, has anyone ever seen or heard of a black spider with a red spider-shaped mark on its back?
I swear, don't say it was a black widow because you'll sound dumb. Every time I've asked someone, everyone has said "black widow". Black widows don't have a red
spider-shaped mark on their
back, they have a red
hourglass-shaped mark on their
belly.

Exactly! I've tried to search for it before but found nothing. I've seen one before, but only once, and it was kinda big and really scary, and me and other kids were afraid. But this one kid walked up and stomped it. I was like O:
I used to have a pet spider, I kept it in a jar and feed it live worms that I dug out of my grans garden, and sometimes a dead fly or two, which I picked up with the help of my grans gardening gloves.
I'm only scared of spiders that aren't pets or the big ones we can find at my stupid spider infested house.
So many spiders... in the bath, on the loo seat, in my bookcase! >A<
Sweet Celestia, get your house gassed. >.<
Not all spiders are that imposing; my house has quite a few of them, but they're all relatively wimpy. I worry more about accidentally knocking them onto the floor than anything.
I've been bitten in my sleep twice. Both times, the bite had to be lanced. It hurts a lot, so I'd rather spiders not hang out in my house, venomous or not. Unless they're daddy long legs. Those guys can't bite yah.
I am afraid of common fears I guess like...
I am afraid of spiders of any size
I am afraid of heights... not bad on planes though
I am afraid of .. I guess rejection... not really been an issue

This doesn't happn too often, and it freaks me out when it does coz I usually die in a dream I'm having when it happens, but the first couple of times I remember, the same freaking spider wove a web between me and my bed-covers.

If it's any consolation, even if such an awful mishap did happen, the chemicals they put in dead people would ensure that you'd die in your sleep and not have to wake up in a coffin, which would really suck. :D

For a while, I was afraid my house was haunted because whenever it would storm at night, our phone would dial 911 by itself. :I For those of you who don't know, 911 is the emergency number that we dial in America to call for police, ambulance, or firemen.
It was so creepy, though. A really bad storm would come during night time, and then after a little while, some cops would come by and tell us they received a 911 call from our house and they were checking if we were ok. I wondered if there was a ghost that kept reliving the last night of their life, in our house. DD:

I once woke up with total amnesia. I still have no idea why. I woke up, and I wondered "Where am I?" I opened my eyes. "My room." I just laid there because it felt like my bedroom was the only place that existed in the entire universe. I was alone, the only person in existence inside the only small box in existence. But then I remembered one of my friends, so I got out of bed, and my memories slowly started coming back as I went through the day.
I really don't want that to happen again because it felt so weird. But I don't know why it happened, so I don't know how to prevent it.

I used to fear mirrors because I always thought it would suddenly scream when I looked at it and it would scare me to death. and by scream i meant the image of me would suddenly stare directly at me and scream at the top of its lungs.

Apparently, the Bloody Mary thing happens because if you stare at anything long enough, your brain decides to start slacking off, so it'll stop noting a lot of details and simplify it. There was a wolf spider on our kittens cage and my sister was worried it would bite them and she didn't want to smash it because jumping spiders freak her out not to mention they are venomous so she had me smash it needless to say I'm bothered by jumping spiders now after having to smash one. o_o I've never been bitten by a venomous spider before and jumping spiders only increase that chance and it seems they are becoming more common where I live now so I'll likely run into others, I guess I fear getting the injury more then the spider itself the ones around here supposedly can make you have a similar wound to a brown recluse which turned my grandmas toe bite a little dark for awhile, until she treated herself with neosporin.
Wolf spider bites aren't that bad. Well, at least, they're not deadly. The bite just swells up and gets kind of painful. I'm not sure if they're jumping spiders, since they act different than jumping spiders I've seen. Mostly, they just wander around and eat bugs and other spiders.
The only reason I ever fear a wolf spider is because I'm uncertain of whether it really is just wolf spider or if it might be a brown recluse. >.< Wolf spiders are pretty helpful, though.
I don't really fear most other bugs, and I never understood why people do. I'm not even afraid to pick up a caterpillar. But I am afraid of bees, wasps, yellowjackets, hornets, and ants.

FUN FUN FACT: Insects and arachnids are full of protein. America is one of the few countries where people do not intentionally eat insects and arachnids. Yes, scorpions count, as they're related to spiders.
You can have a cricket burrito, or a baked tarantula, or cooked grubs, or scorpion. Scorpion venom stops being deadly after the scorpion dies. Then, you chop off the tip of the stinger to avoid injury. There are places in Japan where they eat live scorpions that have been stunned by being soaked in sake.

Talking about eating insects reminded me of those wilderness survival shows on the discovery channel, Man Vs Wild etc, I doubt I'd ever have the stomach to handle doing that consciously but it is slightly interesting.
(Unless I was on the verge of starvation or something, then again the show also showed tons of edible plants, even part of a cactus is edible if you find the right one.)

Eating cactus is a gamble, though, since a lot of cacti will give you diarrhea, which can cause you to become dehydrated. :c
I think I could handle eating quite a few insects, mostly if they're properly cooked/prepared. Crickets, spiders, grasshoppers, grubs, scorpions. However, I don't think I'll ever be able to stomach snails.
I let a wolf spider live around where I work and it would keep a beautiful web running which caught all of the annoying flying insects. The best part is that it would live in the ceiling and crawl down to clean or eat so I didn't have to always see it just chilling there.
Eating insects strikes me as kind of impractical just... well, because they're so tiny. You'd need a ridiculous quantity to get a decent meal.

Cricket burrito. :3 Though, the thing is, insects have a lot of protein. A lot. It's kind of weird.
Bear Grylls specifically mentions that being the reason they help with survival you have to keep hydrated and keep your protein levels up, and some insects are freaking huge in different areas, so I can see why they help in a survival situation if I had to I would probably eat some if I couldn't find any other food at all anywhere. ovO (Usually you have other options though if you know where to look.)

Better to give them rib bones, worse to give them chicken bones. Never give a dog chicken bones. Those bones splinter.
my dog eats the chicken bones and they seem to almost splinter...

I'm actually not sensitive about gore. In fact, I'm apparently rather

I for some reason fear slighting others whenever I'm doing something. For instance I'll wave cars through at stop signs because I'm afraid I'm delaying somepony, or I'll go out of my way to open the door for somepony, etc.

My mom's pre-diabetic I'm not entirely sure what that entails but she used to have issues with high and low blood sugar, but low blood sugar is the most dangerous if I recall. She usually keeps a small amount of candy of some sort with her in case her blood sugar starts to get low. She also cut down a lot on soda and other sugary products to prevent it from getting too high.
I worry sometimes about my Pomeranian as they also have low blood sugar issues I actually had to give my Pomeranian a tea-spoon of maple syrup because she started shaking for no reason and wasn't walking well usually shaking is a sign of low blood sugar.
