"Let's move out recruits!" Sgt. Match barks as he points towards the gate. Drill Sgt. Turnip takes the lead.

Infinity starts marching toward the gate following the Drill Sgt.

Book executed a perfect textbook march as she followed everypony towards the gate.

Chibalt followed with, his march not really perfect, but with few flaws regardless aside from having to do so slightly slower, his size and all making his steps a little longer than regular.

Lunar marched in perfect cadence with the Sergeant, with a blank expression of military bearing present upon his features.

Infinity marched with dignity and matched the Sergeant's ever step. He was going to show them how serious he actually was.

Autumn Leaf takes to the air, and Match Stick vanishes in flurry of fire and ash. Lt. Turnip leads the group away from the base, but also away from the narrow valley that served as the only valid entry point into the badlands. This rout took them down the winding mountain side, and into the forested area composing the base of the mountainous wall that stands as an ever watchful guardian against the terrors that lay beyond them.

Infinity was humming a tune in his head. He really liked walking. But he had to stay on task, because he knew that he was about to be tested.

Maple simple sighs and follows the group questioning his decision

After walking for about twenty minutes, the group comes across a waterfall-fed river that blocks there path. "Looks like you're going to need to find a way across, recruits. Have fun!

Chibalt sighed and rolled his eyes before walking forwards, snapping off a branch from a random nearby tree and trying to use it to feel both how deep the river was and how strong the stream was. I swear, if it turns out you can just walk through this river I am going to be so disappointed in that pegasus.
