The Adventures of the Royal Guard, a New Beginning (Sign-up RP)

Infinity just looks at him. He felt so much like saying something, but held off.

"Of course you can't just sit around! Now drop and give me a hundred!" the Drill Sergeant barks at Lunar.

"You look like there are words waiting to escape your mouth, out with it," He states to Infinity before hearing the next statement.

"Ah, there's the instruction I was looking for," He replies, before doing as commanded.

Infinity just looked down at Lunar.

'Yeah my push-ups are WAY worse than yours.' thought Infinity.

"If you're struggling with fifty push-ups already recruit, then maybe you should do fifty more to get your strength up!"

(I'm going to stop the push-ups soon, I'm just buying time in case anyone else joins.)

Upon completion of his 100, he spreads his wings and does a few aerial flips to cooldown.

Quick Silver finished her push up, panting a little as he steadied herself, standing upright again. She flicked her head, tossing a few loose strands of her mane away from her eyes.

'Is this pony trying to outdo everyone here?' thought Infinity to himself.

[Chibalt]

Chibalt had already gotten halfway through the 150 pushups, sweating and breathing heavy but looking to be holding up quite well, the stallion exhaling a little, blue flame at about his eightieth pushup, oddly seeming to perk up again a bit after that. As he finished up he stood back up again, slightly shaky but still standing, oh he just loved how his flames worked, they didn't even need to be visible to fix things such as tired muscles, not that it made him any less tired, it just felt less like his legs were about to fall off as he stood and watched the others, brushing some of his now sweat-soaked mane to the side, the cold now that he wasn't actively doing anything demanding, was quite refreshing, if a little chilly in his opinion.

(He's still tired, his flames just mitigate the physical effects somewhat.)

Infinity get on his two front hooves and does 50 push-ups. He gets back up and grins.

[waaaaaaah]

"Ungh." Book Keeper collapsed at the 101st pushup, breathing very heavily, sweating buckets.

[annosrules]

"If you are all hoping for a break now, well too bad! Time to run son laps." The Drill Sergeant takes the lead and begins the run at a steady pace.

Lunar starts his own run beside that of the Sergeant.

"So, how long have you served the Royal Guard?" He inquires.

[Chibalt]

Chibalt huffed, giving his legs a quick stretch before following, keeping relatively steady pace but keeping behind by a good deal. Sorry about the extra pushups. He muttered to the collapsed, sweaty mare as he passed her during one of the laps.

Not able to spare the energy, Book simply gave the cobalt pony a nod. She slowly picked herself up off the ground, then began a slow trot, intending to pick up the pace when she had recovered somewhat.

"As long as I can remember! Though that's not saying much given all the trees I've crashed into."

"I understand that," He replies, chuckling.

"Ever dealt with other batponies, and/or the Lunar Guard itself?" He asks.

Quick Silver sighed, and began with the laps. She was aching badly already, and struggled to keep at the same pace. She took deep and heavy breaths as she and the other recruits ran.

[waaaaaaah]

Huffing and puffing, Book managed to start run at a  respectable pace. Soon, she passed a recruit that was having trouble with the laps; she decided to keep pace with her.

"(huff)  Hey, it'll be (puff)  alright," Book tried to reassure the unicorn. "You can (gasp)  do it!"

"Of course! Who do you think does all of the night shifts?"
