No Talk/Add Friend/Other Buttons

 When I click on an NPC or even a player, there are no buttons available to talk or add them as a friend. Because of this, I cannot begin the first quest. I can't speak with ANY of the NPCs, or add players. No buttons show up at all. Can anypony please help me? Ive really been looking forward to this game and really want to play it.
