Technically this cat isn't my pet, it's a stray cat. But it likes to come into our house very often and we feed it and all that

She's very likely older than me  It meows very loudly when it wants attention until one of us starts stroking it. When I would abruptly stop it would look at me expectantly because it wants more wub

Haha. I love dogs too, but I grew up with cats. That, and my dad doesn't want a dog.

Meet Boye (pronounced as boy)

This magnificent bast beast was my very best companion during my early days.
From birth till fall 2000 we ate dog biscuits together, (yes, you read that right, i mean theres a bowl of edible looking things infront of you, your dog eats it, so naturally you crawl over and begin to put them into your mouth My mom didnt like it that much tough... wonder why)
slept in the same basket (yes i prefered a doghair filled basket over a nice and comfy bed)
And played in the forests together.

But allas, sadly no one is immortal,
   he passed away at the age of 7.5

we havent had a dog or any kind of pet ever since...

  well we did have several fish and "stick bugs"
can those thing even be considered pets?

Oh god... I-I miss my kitties.  I've had, in all, six cats. I've loved each one even more than could be deemed possible. It's been two years since my last cat, why am I still crying over my first?

I was informed next year I may be getting a dog. Everyone settled on an Australian Shepherd. I'm really excited, since s/he'll be my first puppy.

Oh god... I-I miss my kitties.  I've had, in all, six cats. I've loved each one even more than could be deemed possible. It's been two years since my last cat, why am I still crying over my first?

I was informed next year I may be getting a dog. Everyone settled on an Australian Shepherd. I'm really excited, since s/he'll be my first puppy. 

Oooh, good luck. Be ready for lots of hyper and perhaps some herding.

My mom once said she was going to get me a puppy, and then she came home from Walmart with a trunk full of groceries and a kitten on her shoulder. That kitten grew up to be Rose.
