"Ooookayyy, fiiine," Hazy harrumphs. "But i want the one with the little crunchy things in it!"
Hazy Skies trots upstairs to find his Lil' Ursa. He digs around in the sheets on his bed, and retrieves a small doll resembling an Ursa Minor. It's worn, but the enchantment on it still sparkles with twinkling stars and a constellation lining the tail.
He calls out from his room, "I'm ready!" and trots back down the stairs to the living room, floating just a bit more with each step. Everything's gonna be just fine!

"Maaaaa, do I have to go shopping?" Hazy whines. "It's all weird out there, I don't wanna go"
Hazy rubs his hooves together, giving Cloudy his best puppy-dog eyes.

Heya Cloudy Skies! I just whipped up the newest member of the Skies family. Let me know what you think!
Name: Hazy Skies
Race: Pegasus
Age: A little colt
Appearance: uh... I'll figure that out in the character creator
Going to look a lot like Cloudy Skies, so grays and whites. Maybe less contrast, to make him look all vague and hazy?
Cutie Mark: Vague bird shapes behind thin, wispy clouds, eventually. Not now.
I'm thinking some kind of clairvoyant ability wherein he reads the winds. He doesn't currently understand his abilities, so he is often nervous when these instincts start kicking...
Character: Oblivious. Always has his head in the clouds. Wise beyond his years, but often has trouble expressing himself clearly.
Background: Youngest son of Cloudy Skies. Goes to school in Cloudopolis. Struggles in flight athletics classes, and could never quite clear the skies fully. Highly sensitive to weather, just can't quite shape it the way he wants.
No hobbies at the moment. Give him a stick or a piece of cloud and he's good.
I love making little filly and colt characters, apparently. It's my childlike nature

Original Characters / Baby's First OC: Coronita

Hey everypony! First off let me say I adore LoE and many of the people I've met there have shared some great times with me. This OC developed quite naturally off the experiences she's had in LoE, and I think I'm at a point I can call her my mane pony. Pretty much a self-insert in many ways - I am not an actor, but I do want to play this role, so I'm trying to keep it simple for myself.
Getting on with it:
Name: Coronita - This is a play on the sun and the beer. It comes from... uh, Sponish? Heh. There's the burro influence. More on that in a bit.
Race: Unicorn.
Age: A very young adult, has had her cutie mark for maybe a week.
Appearance: Lots of yellow. Very slightly greenish, mostly-light-yellow coat. Her mane is styled in a short mohawk, bright yellow with orange-ish yellow shadows. Lime-green eyes.
Cutie Mark: A half-sun half-lime. She very recently got her cutie mark after teaching a Judo class (actually I want to change the name of this martial art to something more ponyish) for the first time. Whatever this mark specifically means I can't actually figure out - it's really just based on the name. Her personality might help me figure that out though? Her story still is in progress...
Character: A warm, energetic pony. Cares and worries for her friends. She's the type to slow down to give a pep talk to a runner that's falling behind. Competitive, but not for the sake of winning - she just wants to become the brightest pony she can be, and wants the same for everyone around her. She falls somewhere between Kindness and Honesty, if we're thinking about the Elements of Harmony. Her life is a balance between playing guitar and practicing martial arts. She does both without the use of her horn - she often feels insecure about not pushing herself hard enough.
Background: Grew up bouncing back and forth between Manehattan and a small Burro village in Mexicolt - I've taken a page out of the fanfic author kudzuhaiku's worldbuilding here.
Ehm... that's all I got for now. What does everypony think? Am I missing some things, or should I keep it vague to give myself breathing room? Any other tips? I want to start making OCs that are a bit less like me, too, and playing their roles.

Hey everypony! Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Holiday Cheer, you might remember me as one Coronita who has been online quite a bit recently. I just want to say thank you for all the infectious positivity you put out there!
And those lyrics! Something about seeing someone I've met expressing their creativity makes me itch to do the same. So thank you again for helping fill my Recommended Daily Amount of inspiration this day!
Also: Hi Sapphire, Jet Black, Wordsmith and all the regulars out there! Sorry if I left anyone out, as I get to know you folks better I'll stop being so rudely forgetful
Cloudy Skies: Martial arts, eh? I recently found my old Judo instructor and have been so delighted to have such a powerful influence of mine back in my life. I feel like I have balance again! (no pun intended
So, yeah. Keep it up! It fills my heart with joy to see others practicing any martial arts. It's so good for you!
