Resolved Issues / Re: New Boards

Boards are created on topic popularity, if there's demand to talk about these things then Perry will put a board in for it.
And, in the mean time, the off-topic board is the place for anything and everything else.

I don't think this goes in Video Games,

Yes it does.  :l

Looks interesting. I haven't signed up yet, but I will probably take a look at some point.

Though, next time you post something in the wrong forum, please use the report function rather than editing it into your post... And please go easy on the font size.

INSERT RYO RANT HERE
No seriously be warned this is a rant

Spoiler: show
Right I'm going to drop my opinion on the whole I am leaving for _____ Reason. (Mostly because I'm board and I have a comment for once) Personally I think some of the farewell threads are good like say a pony will be missing for X amount of time so there RP's will be on hold but again that type of comment can be said on their RP's.  As for those who leave due to reasons of saying there getting a lot of hate in their life and are leaving for personal reasons I genuinely feel bad for you but again there is good where there is bad.

As for those leaving because they are not enjoying the forums because 1) Nopony talks to me 2) I get a lot of negative comments or 3)No pony reads my posts.
Now I know those 3 examples are extreme but remember 1) if you're not enjoying the forums that's fine maybe you just haven't found your section. 2) if you're getting negative comments on your posts or being harassed  then inform a moderator they are in place for a good reason. And 3) if your posts go unread then it's just bad luck but personally I don't think it's a good reason to leave.

And the final point ill make is if a Pony is leaving because a Moderator dislikes them then the reason may be because you have not followed the rules or done something that is controversial to the site remember they are doing a job for free ill add. There job is to make sure the rules are followed so that all can enjoy themselves and this site stays safe for all the users.

Reposting this "rant" so that if you missed in on the first page, you get another chance to read it, and consider the many valid points it brings up.
To add to number three however, you simply need to post think more when posting... It's a matter of though and practice. If you post something interesting and thoughtful, someone will read it.
If no one else, us on the moderation team will. Because we have to.
Bet no one thought of it like that. ;)

Am locking this topic now. I wasn't sure that I should have left this open, clearly I was right.

Tumblr isn't exactly a family friendly website.
I'm not just gunna trash this topic right now, but I'm not exactly happy about these links here. If anything worse is posted, the chances are someone else is gunna make this topic vanish, so watch what you post.

I've removed the video, as per section 7d and 7e of the rules.

I'm leaving the thread open, do not let me catch any more material of this nature in this thread.
Thank you.

Ergo: 2+2 - 9/2 = 5

Two plus two is four.
Nine divided by two is four and a half.
Four minus four and a half is minus one half (-0.5).
This is called a rounding error.

Quote from: Captain0Ron on 2012 Jul 02, 05:20:29
(a-b)(a+b)/(a-b) = 0/(a-b)

1-1 = 0.
0/0 is still dividing something by zero, which does not result in a tangible number.

Pretty much every part of your workings here is wrong.
Did you use a calculator? If not, I suggest you use one to double check your logic.
If so... Then you need to look into the subject more. And perhaps find a new calculator.

I'm going to lock this thread as it's straying off topic. Next time I see a mathematics thread, I'd like to see it more on topic, and with less wild guesses at what the answers are.

Are Sega bringing it to Europe/America? As excited as I am for this, taking into consideration the language gap and high pings, I think I might just be able to wait a little for it.

...If not on the other hand, I think I'll be grabbing it shortly.
I used to play PSO split screen on the GameCube, and have always wanted to get it online. I didn't even have internet at the time though, unfortunately.

- and, I don't really want to be a pony

Seconded. If I could be anything, I'd be a computer. But that's beside the point.

Also, third on the list is already possible. And I'd rather fly with a fixed wing than having to flap them like a bird. That must be so exhausting.

Merged two threads here.
All Minecraft building projects go in this thread.

Starfox adventures:I love starfox ,but this doesn't need talking what happened to starfox 64?The flying the shooting the barrel rolls!I wanted that instead of a basic beat em up game with its own language.Begining of the game:auay djoeil sjduey krazoa palace.

Oh, you just reminded me I have a half played game of Starfox Adventures awaiting me.
Playing this game back... And this time, without cheats... I've actually grown to appreciate it a lot more than I used to. I get a stick to hit things with and some nifty little puzzles. What more do you want from a game?

Most sonic games:I say this a lot ,and I mean ALOT ,but sega had the best games ever thanks to sonic such as sonic 4 ,and sonic heroes ,but then they suddenly got drugged ,and made the sonic story book series which I am certain is just because they ran out of money to make actual cutscenes ,and they turned sonic into a werewolf WHY JUST WHY?!?!?What made them think it was a good idea to turn a fast hedge hog into a werewolf?WHY DID YOU GIVE UP AND TURN IT INTO A BEAT EM UP GAME?

If Sonic Heroes is your example of a good Sonic game... Then I have to tell you there's a lot more Sonic games out there that you've probably never even heard of.
That said, Sega seems to have ups and downs while annoying all of the fans simultaneously with each release. Though the fact they seem to be "Soul searching" with each release certainly does not help remedy the problem.

I personally don't like the idea of picking fault with game series as they progress... Though sometimes it is nicer to see games end in a blaze of glory. Gex for instance. Great games, but I haven't heard of any coming out for the modern platforms. Gex went out with style, and as much as I'd love to see a new Gex game, I'm happy that there's no bad sequels ruining everyone's memory of it.

I'd also like to see more gaming companies try something new. Surely that's better than listening to the sound of disappointed fans?

It's all but open source. One of the freest games around!

McSleuthburger has explained the situation his explanation is exactly how it works, and arguing with him isn't going to get you anywhere, he (like myself) has no authority to change the system.

I've logged on your warnings that that you forced me to step in when McSleuthburger tried to explain things to you.
The scope of the topic has been noted, and really does not need to continue.

My Little Fortress is easy mode. I've always prefered playing Kobold camp, although, I don't update all too often, so I've still got a really old version of Slaves to Celestia sitting about.
I've actually been able to work on mini mega-projects with ponies, they're that tough... Though the pegasus ponies always end up getting stuck up on a building roof or somewhere they can't get down from, but they're good for hauling.

If a pegasus(we'll call her "X") were to jump off, say, the Grand Canyon(silly filly...) with her wings opens, she would have only a matter of seconds to start flapping before the wind force snapped her fragile wings.

Quote from: Crystal Chaos on 2012 Jun 02, 23:06:12
If she were to jump with closed wings, she would have less than a second to open her wings and flap before the wing force traps her wings to her side.

May I ask what sort of dynamic KPa you're expecting this poor filly to experience within these few seconds?

I'd also like to point out that by extending her hooves, she should be able to sufficiently lower the dynamic KPa to a point where she can extend her wings.

Skyrim topic. I don't play the game. I haven't bought it. I've not even tried it. So, please, don't expect an introduction from me.
But considering the number of posts in this forum about it, I'm pretty sure most here won't need an introduction.

So. Skyrim discussion goes in this thread. Any out of thread Skyrim discussion will result in a warning.
