I'm gonna try to give a hoof at this, I never really fully scripted my OC.
Name: Prismatic
Alias: "Zero" or Prism (depending on who knows him or not)
Normal attire: Jumpsuit with thin steel plating underneath.
Age: Unknown
Gender: Stallion
Race: Crystal
Military Rank: Criminal (Crystal Empire)/Lieutenant (Canterlot)
Cutie Mark: 'Even he doesn't know what it is'
Special talents: Can bend light in a crystalline state, otherwise has better perception and slightly better than normal vision (in particularly of the color red)
Bio:
There wasn't a whole lot known about his childhood. He grew up like regular crystal ponies of the era and discovered his special talent being able to bend light through his body. It wasn't anything sporadic or random and it had to be a bright light for it to work (the streets and crystalline grid don't trigger this nor does moonlight). Did mostly well in school and during the seasons before Sombra's takeover enlisted in the Crystal Empire Royal Guard simply because he was not keen on continuing the family business (which is unknown at this point).
Since he was not too terribly strong but exceptionally agile he was put into recon and eventually made his way to being one of many trained to engage in covert operations. Along the way with the takeover by Sombra some of his group were separated and declared traitors by Sombra and not only were they enslaved but were expelled from the Crystal Empire once the empire was recovered. Some, like Prismatic, were no longer attached to the crystalline grid.
Seeing that it was in his best interests to start anew he moved down to Canterlot and attempted to live a normal life. It was difficult adjusting to the Canterlot way of life but eventually earned enough being a guard to live and open a small storefront on one of Canterlot's less busier streets. Being only open certain mornings he spent most of his other time trying to recover what he lost. His Cutie Mark is never seen between the armor or his jumpsuit. He often refers to it, if asked, as a mark of shame. For the most part the new life has left him mostly optimistic (particularly in that certain gems and his prospecting are a 'Rarity' down there save for a white unicorn) and yearning to find what he's missing in life.

It's always fun finding new places around here. For those that don't know...I'm Prismatic...Yes...that Prismatic.
