Mist Chaser chuckled at the mention of children. He wasn't too sure about the subject, seeing as he didn't ever have a marefriend. Seeing as everypony was okay, he launched himself back into the air, circling up towards Cloudsdale. He was going to be thinking about finding one since he was nearly a stallion!

Mist Chaser spotted a pegasus crash and flew over immediately to see if he was okay.
"Are you alright?" He called. Hey, all pegasi had wipeouts. Wind currents were tricky sometimes.

Mist Chaser managed to untangle the flag from the pole, and did a hoof-clap on the air in victory. He hovered over the other unicorns and groundponies, shouting, "Hello there, everyone!"

Mist Chaser dove towards the ground, just above the rooftops, tilted his wings up, and did a few loops in midair around a higher flagpole, making the flag wrap around the flagpole from his wind.
"Oh, oops." He hovered near the flagpole and tried to untangle the flag.

The RP thread is a lot of fun! There's so many interesting characters! 

His relationship with his pet is a very good addition to his character.

As for his special talent... it's actually pretty viable. It may be a bit difficult for me to believe a cool-headed pony who doesn't like leaving his comfort zone (or so I believe since he doesn't like speaking to other ponies) would race his pet bird in a Lightning Storm. It would make more sense if he was in there to help try to clean up the weather, since he's a weather pony of exceptional skill according to the story. The ability to absorb and utilize electricity itself may require a bit of scientific explanation, as it is not common (or maybe even unheard of) for a Pegasus to actually benefit from being struck by Lightning.

Oh, I should have made it more clear that Mist Chaser's personality became more assertive and risk-taking as he grew older and gained more pride for himself. By cool-headed, I meant he didn't lose control of his emotions easily. But he still loses control from time-to-time, like during that lightning storm, which is why Namid looked at him strangely. Being a blank flank for so long and the pressure from all the other pegasi had thrown him off his sanity-rocker. A race like that could've killed him.

Mist Chaser recently got his cutie mark, so I think he's still trying to master his skill and find a job ^^
My theory is that all pegasi have control over the weather to a small extent, which includes lightning. Mist's pegasus-magic can change the lightning's heat into energy. It's like a photosynthesis for lightning I suppose. Still, Mist can be overloaded if he absorbs too much electricity and the energy can harm him if he doesn't release it in some way.
It's a dangerous skill to practice, but Mist enjoys challenging himself!

"Can I call you anything, though?" Mist Chaser asked. He was giving to give him a nickname at this rate.

He looked at Aqua, his ears lowering a bit at her tone of voice. He took another bite of his doughnut. He felt a little bit left out, but everyone had their own problems to figure out.

"Hey, I'll buy you all doughnuts! Doughnuts make everything better!"

"Oh, well, you looked kind of lonely and I wanted someone to talk to." Mist answered, slightly sheepish. He was given his hot chocolate and doughnut. He took the doughnut with his hoof and dipped it into the hot chocolate. He took a eager bite out of it.

"Hello there!" Mist said cheerfully to the hooded pony with a full mouth, happier now that someone else was joining them, "I'm called Mist Chaser! Who are you?"

Mist Chaser trotted into the tavern. He sat besides a grey pony and asked for a hot chocolate and a doughnut. As he waited, he looked to Aqua and said in a friendly voice, "Hello there! My name's Mist Chaser! Who are you?"
