Introductions Archive / Hello, I am SimLeek/Clock Form

I a Simulator Leek, or SimLeek. My pony name is Clock Form.
I've reported several bugs, and made a few suggestions on the forums, but I've apparently failed to introduce myself.
So, I'm SimLeek. In real life, I'm a roboticist with a job in robotics and a hobby in robotics. However, I also occasionally write fiction (http://www.fimfiction.net/user/ArtichokeLust), make music (http://selfreference.bandcamp.com/), and whatever else I feel like trying at the time. I don't think I've found many fields I couldn't get good at with practice, but I can't do everything I want whenever I want if I want to get things that I want... I have to choose!
Right now I'm majoring in computer science as an undergraduate junior, am involved in the robotics club, have a robotics job, and I'm hoping to advance the field of robotics. I'd love to send in my resume and apply to help out this project, but I kind of have a problem with putting too much on my plate. So maybe I'll help temporarily during the summer, or maybe I'll volunteer after I graduate and get a job.
Also, if I sign up for/create a group in the Herd/Guild forum, does that mean I'm in that Herd/Guild in the game? How do the Herds/Guilds work? I think I want to make a new herd/guild about general science/engineering, but I'm confused.
Edit: Most of the examples of my work I gave are somewhat old now. I should have improved since then.

This has already been submitted in the bug report forum.
It is a problem with unity, and tends to occur on older computers, if I remember correctly.

Resolved Issues / the Friends list should also be accessible via the website.

I had to create an account with this forum to test out LoE, and while testing, I found a few friends. 
Now, since the information in the game is already somewhat linked to the website database via the account, it should be possible to alter the database for this forum to have a friends list on it instead of just the game, then add some PHP to access the list.
That should make it so nobody loses their friends after the open server weekend. It shouldn't be too hard to implement, should it?
