Since most of the posts contain multiple favourites I guess I'll go with my top 3 off the top of my head:

Spoiler: Dragonite • show

Spoiler: Blastoise • show

Probably because I spent the most time on them back on Red.

I don't really care too much about any others apart from the original 151.

I found it to be a decent game but sadly it was quite short.

Going to go with some League ones here followed by their in-game splash art for comparison.

I don't really like using desktop backgrounds and things like that unless I've created them myself, but the colour scheme and style of this fits in very well with my current set up.

ive been playing lvl 30 games since lvl 10 (all my friends lvl 30) so yeah... HARSH learning curve for me. Im ok as a ganking mid malz. an ok jungling rammus. an anoying as hell morde. im learning: Rumble, kennen, Olaf, heracrim and now ezeral (pulsefire!)

used to main veigar but... malz is just that much better!

oh yeah and a quote.

"suffering is magic"

yay pony refrence!

"used to main veigar but... malz is just that much better!"
Just... let me....

Really is that a chalange? I pool, supresses. ingnite and veigar will probaly be dead even before the supress. I can just flash out of the stun. dark matter is an eazy doge and  i ave a silence for tha tnasty little ulti... oh i forgot to tell you my extra items on malz after i can almost 3k  health with one ulti is tanky items
.... good luck veigar... i will amke your a gmae a living hell... i call it the void

still i like to play as the little guy once in a while

Although I do think Malz is somewhat underrated, there are FAR more situations in favour of Veigar in that matchup, also Veigar is much more useful when it comes to team fights.

You're forgetting Veigar's ult scales not only off his own AP but also his opponents, so while you're building damage Veigar could build a QSS, cut off your ult and ignite and then slam you with his ult because you built damage.

Flash out of the stun? A good Veigar will make sure you are on the edge of it when they put it down, you won't be flashing out of nothing then and you'll be blown up with his combo before you can do anything at all.

I'd really like to know if I'm the only one. o_O I'm not, right? I'm pretty sure I'm not. See, sometimes I get emails from Microsoft (though my inbox says it's from Xbox). I got one with a promotional code in it, which I can use to get 160 Microsoft Points for free to put toward getting the Dawnguard DLC for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
I'm pretty sure it's legitimate. What I'm wondering is, how and why did I get it? x3

Most likely whoever has skyrim, gets the points.

I have Skyrim for Xbox but got nothing.

They must be randomly picking people IF it's legit.

Well, at the very bottom of the email, it says
"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim®: Dawnguard™ ©2012 Bethesda Softworks LLC, a ZeniMax Media company. All Rights Reserved.

... Oh. "Promotional one-time-use code valid for named recipient of this email in the 50 United States (including Washington, D.C.), aged 17 years or older." - Where do you guys live, and how old are you? x3 Might affect whether or not you get the email.

Ah, the location will most likely be the reason then, lucky you.

Speaking of promotions... I decided to check again just now incase it was actually there and I found a Sims 3 Promo email which arrived less than an hour ago...

QuoteNow that you've signed up for The Sims VIP Newsletter, make sure to redeem your 100 free SimPoints to use at The Sims™ 3 Store.* Use this code to claim your SimPoints.

Has my Xbox GT (my old one, but I only changed recently) and a code for 'Sim points'.

Strange really considering I don't own Sims 3 or remember signing up for a 'VIP Newsletter' as mentioned in the email.

I wish I could give my own opinions on the games you mentioned, but...

I played the old Legend of Zelda's but haven't played any of the newer ones after Wind Waker, the peak was Ocarina of Time though (imo).

I haven't even played Starfox 64 let alone this newer one you mentioned, one of the better games I missed apparently.

Banjo and Kazooie 1 was amazing, 2 was good but I feel like it wasn't AS good as the first one, haven't played the newer one you mentioned.

Played almost every single Sonic game since the early '90s, the last one I played was Sonic Unleashed (there is a few before this I didn't play though) but I only played it for a couple of hours. I really liked Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 (battle) and all of the older ones but sadly I don't think these types of games appeal to the larger audience these days.

---

Resident Evil is a good one I can relate to though, played it since it was first released in 1996 and it is probably my favourite game series.

The first one was amazing and had me terrified lol.

The second one was also really good.

The third one was perhaps my favourite due to unexpected attacks from Nemesis throughout the game.

(skipping the games between 3 and 4 here and sticking to the main numbered ones otherwise I'll be here all day)

Now the 4th... a lot of people consider this the 'peak' of the Resident Evil series but I consider it the downfall. I HATED the fact they took the survival 'horror' element out of the game (I could argue this point all day, it was gone in this game no matter what anyone says) and replaced 'zombies' with Las Plagas and a completely different story, it killed me to see my favourite game series take this turn. Good for an action game, but leaving their roots and jumping genres like that while taking a big name with them was extremely frustrating.

Resident Evil 5... I actually liked this game a lot for an 'action' game, but again it didn't have the survival horror element which Resident Evil was known for.

Resident Evil 6 promises to go back to its roots and give it back the survival horror element, but that isn't out until October I believe, so we'll see.

So yeah, I can see where you are coming from with this topic but it really does vary from series to series, but developers are far too focused on genres such as FPS these days, it really is sad to see such drastic changes in the gaming industry from back in the day.

Some more!

So much creativity following all of this, I've never seen so much good work come from any community like this before, it really does amaze me still.

I could seriously post hundreds of good pieces I've found over time, I guess I'll just keep contributing to this topic here and there.
