Zap Catcher is the pony in charge of putting the lightning in storm clouds. because of this his yellow mane is frizzy and burnt. he is a somewhat fast flier and enjoys the wonderbolts, but does not want to be one. he enjoys racing his friends, though but isn't too competitive. he doesn't have much motivation and just kinda lays around a lot. because of this ponyville doesn't get too much lightning storms.
