The series was made due to the refusal of major Japanese networks to air the original series, which was very popular on cable, since it wasn't produced in Japan. That's why this exists.

I would however recommend, Stitch! , it's a japanese cartoon show with Disney's Stitch actually finding himself in Japan with a new set of characters and the setting taking place 2-3 decades after the original show. I'm going to be looking into it, but sounds like a good show.

It really isn't that bad by Japanese standards. Of course, if you grew up on the original Powerpuff Girls, you might want to avoid this one since it can't really compare to the original.

Remember that this was only made because japanese networks refused to air the original cartoon, so they had to make their own "version", and that's where this cartoon comes ni.

We need to see a lineup, I'm a huge fan of Tom and space, but if it's just going to be same non anime stuff usually aired on Adult Swim or this powerpuff girls x series, it will be a huge disappointment.
