Dark Hooves has mastered elemental magics and feels he is ready to give his knowledge to the next generation of unicorns. He posts up flyers around Ponyville giving the location of where he is holding the classes at. He eagerly awaits for the students to arrive at the park. He asks for no money, he is doing this to help make pony kind more resilient, more specifically the unicorns.
Peacemaker arrives at the park reading the flyer with his little brother.

Roots looks down at the flyer in his hoof and reads it again before looking ahead once more.
"This looks to be the place... I hope I will learn more here," he quietly says to himself before proceeding to approach the two ponies that were already there.
Yes, I am Dark Hooves. Welcome to elemental magic 101. Let's start with how well you can control your magic.
Control magic? like levitating things or do like a spell?
I mean your mana, how well can you channel it? I also want to see which nature your mana is.

Peacemaker looks around to see what to levitate. He finds a medium boulder near where he stands.
He levitates the boulder with some struggle at a height just above his head and lets it down, giving a 'phew'.
Roots reaches the two of them just as the red Unicorn lowers the boulder nearby.
"Hello there, I'm not late to the class am I?" he asks. "This is the right place right? Is there a... uh... Is somepony known as Dark Hooves here?"
A dark colt with red and yellow hair is dropped off by his parents. He walks up to the school slowly and grudgingly, like he would rather be somewhere else.
Excellent, but it isn't just about brute strength. You have to find balance between focus and strength. This is magic's true power. He sees another dropped off by his parents and another ask for Dark Hooves. Welcome to Elemental Magic 101, both of you. I am Dark Hooves, nice to meet you.
The dark colt replies, "Hi.", but never raises his eyes from the ground.

Why so glum?
Match remains silent.
What is the matter? He reaches out to him.
Match keeps his face downcast and replies,"Can we just get this over with?"
Roots sighs in relief, glad that he is at the right place and looks at Dark Hooves.
"So you're the one who advertised the class. I am known as Roots. I for one can't wait to see what you'll be teaching us."
Yes I am. I think you'll enjoy my class a lot, both of you once we start learning.
Match sighs and waits for further instruction.
Roots notices the newcomer sighing and turns to face him.
"Say... I didn't catch your name when you arrived. I know I just said mine, but who are you? Since we'll be in the same class and all."
Roots extends a hoof towards the dark grey Unicorn as a friendly gesture.
Match looks Roots in the eyes and says, "I'm Match.", his expression removing all doubt of his disposition towards being at the school.
Hi Match, you don't look happy to be here.
Roots swallows and quickly breaks eye contact with Match.
"I- I see."
Roots puts his hoof back on the ground and returns his gaze to Dark Hooves.
*-whoops. Been away too long.

Hearing Dark Hooves' question, Match's gaze falls downwards once more as he replies by saying, "I don't want to talk about it."
I see, well lets start. Roots, can you show me your degree of controlling your mana. Everypony else except for Peacemaker since he's shown me already.
Roots nods his head and takes a deep breath.
"I shall do my best sir."
Roots quickly looks around and finds a small patch of dirt devoid of grass just a few hoofsteps away. He begins to concentrate on the spot and soon a few blades of grass begin to appear, but it is clear he is struggling. He stops and sighs, letting the grass recede back into the ground and he hangs his head in defeat afterwards.
"So close yet so far..."
A good effort, I'll help you control it better as we go through the lessons. Match, you're up.
Match's horn glows orange with magic as he easily levitates a book off a nearby table and flips it before returning it to it's place. "Satisfied?", he asks, obviously annoyed.
Peacemaker still ponders on the words Dark Hooves told him
("Find the balance between focus and strength". I thought I did that. It was a heavy boulder and I focused enough to lift it. What does he mean?)
His attention was caught by Match demonstrating his magical abilities.
Roots nods towards Dark Hooves and he quickly finds a spot next to Peacemaker. He too watches Match perform his magical abilities rather well.
"Hrm, perhaps I should have performed a levitation spell instead... Where did you obtain such skill with the art of levitation Match if I may ask? I- if you wish to share of course."
Roots pauses momentarily and he begins to think.
('Match sounds like he obviously doesn't want to be here... but he has such skill! I wonder what else he is hiding underneath all of that... hostility.')
Peacemaker didn't care much of Match's attitude, but gave a vertical nod for his attempt. He turned to Dark.
What you mean by focus and strength? I don't get it.
Match looks at roots and shrugs, "I just use it a lot."
"Interesting. Well as the saying goes, practice makes perfect I guess."
Roots looks over at Dark Hooves and waits patiently.
"I guess."
"WAIT UP",The voice comes from behind the practicing group of ponies as a young stallion comes bounding up to the group panting and carrying on his back what appears to be an oddly shaped guitar.The Crimson colored unicorn quickly recovers his breath and looks upon the group with his one exposed green eye that isn't covered by his long silver mane."Sorry im late,I've never been here before and I got lost"Explained the crimson pony sporting a guitar"By the way my names Kato.......i umm need help recovering my magic".The unicorn who called himself Kato gave the group a slight smile and brushed the silver mane from his eyes"Until recently I could use very high level magic,but lately in having trouble using magic at all"
Roots turns around to meet the newcomer.
"I know how you feel, I remember when I first went to Canterlot and I had a hard time getting around. How are you doing uh... Kato right? Did I say that correctly? I'm known as Roots." He extends a hoof towards Kato. "It's always a pleasure to see a new face, but what was that you said before? Something about... recovering your magic? What happened to it?"
A look of concern appears on Roots' face when he asks the question.
*turns to Kato* Oh... hi
Hi Kato, I am Dark Hooves. Nice to meet you.
"its a pleasure to meet you roots"Exclaimed Kato reaching out and shaking the kind pony'a Hoove"Its a pleasure to meet all of you"He added looking to the other two ponies still wearing a smile.Kato decided right away he rather liked this group of ponies.He had been the slightest bit nervous upon coming to Canterlot for the first time but that nervousness had all but dissipated now.Kato again brushed his silver hair from his eyes and looked up as if pondering roots question"Well as i said not to long ago I was fully able to preform high level magic spells.Ive always had a natural talent i suppose"Explained Kato wandering off topic for only a second"But around the time i visited a little town outside of phillydelphia i suddenly lost my ability to perform much of any magic"

Kato pondered this question for a second before shaking his head his silver mane swaying from side to side as he did"I dont think so,i had a gig in town and afterwards i decided to explore.....i ate at a cafe,visited the orphanage and played the children some music,i visited a creepy little antique shop run by an old zebra,then I left and realized soon afterwards I had lost a good portion of my magic".Kato sighed and once again brushed his mane out of his face"I dont quite feel myself without my magic,its a part of who I am"
If you did, it has the effect of disrupting your mana flow.
Kato shook his head his silver mane swaying from side to side as he did"The only weird thing that happened to me was when the old zebra blew some blue powder in my face and mumbled something under his breath"Proclaimed Kato recalling the abnormal moment vividly.

It's not magic, it is a flower which the pollen plays pranks on the pony that gets it on themself.
It's a flower? I didn't knew flowers can do that. So the poison from it does a prank on a pony. That's crazy.
As Zecora says: "This flower doesn't breed wrath, the flower only wants a laugh."
But how is Kato not doing magic funny? I don't see anything funny on him either.
The flower has weird sense of humor. An herbal bath will cure that. Zecora can help you with that.
Kato was a bit surprised to learn the seemingly harmless blue powder was poison joke"Oh ,thank you"Kato replied realizing he was a bit out of place here.But he supposed his elemental magic could use a bit of work,and the pony before him was a master after all"Well since I'm here....i would be honored if you could help me polish my elemental magic"
Of course, you should go find Zecora to get cured of the poison joke first though.
Then, a strange yellow aura appears out of nowhere, just floating there for about 3 seconds. After those 3 seconds, Blazing Sun seemingly teleports in. "Uh, is this the right place for me to train my abilities?" She asked, not knowing much about where she was.
Kato had taken the ponies advice and set off to find Zecora,after receiving directions to her cottage in the woods and receiving the cute it did not take Kato long before he could once again feel his magic.Using an advanced teleportation spell he was almost instantly back where he started beside the helpful instructor pony and now this new yellow aura pony.

It isn't all about strength and it isn't all about focus. It takes perfect balance to mastering magic.
Perfect balance? Can I do one magic trick to see if I am doing it right?
Sure.
Kato listened carefully to what the instructor pony was saying,it made sense he supposed as Kato had never really had to work for a magic balance.....it always seemed so easy for him.He decided it best however to apply this knowledge and watched the yellow aura pony as she prepared to attempt a spell curious as to her preferred magic.
"This will be interesting." Blazing Sun thought out loud. "Even though I wanna show you guys what I can do, I'll let him go first."
Peacemaker concentrates and his horn emits brown aura. He then emvelops himself in magic and starts to rise from the ground.
I learned to levitate myself and fly. I don't know if that's what you mean by balance.
Try this. He surrounds his hooves with his golden aura and starts walking up a nearby tree.

*decends and stops his magic*
*Concentrating*
*Magic encases his hooves and walks in front of the tree*

I have long since mastered balance between focus and strength. If either focus or strength are too low you'll fall, if either are too high you'll push yourself off the tree. He stands upside-down on a tree branch.
I can only do that when I levitate myself, but that doesn't count.
*Concentrates again but harder and hooves begin to glow*
*Places hooves on the tree and falls again*
*grunts* I can't do it!
Blazing Sun was trying to pay attention to everyone at once until her eyes were stuck on Peacemaker. "Oh, so now we're climbing trees? I don't know why, but I've never tried that before." She said to Dark Hooves after going up to him. "If you know anything about me, then you've seen me on the news. Mostly because I train in my front yard for extended periods of time, everyday."
((By the way, I know where the "Climbing trees using only your hooves" thing came from, but I won't tell.))
I'm teaching control of your mana, which takes both strength and focus. Mastering of this takes time to achieve the perfect balance.
Peacemaket doncentrates much harder and his hooves start to glow. He then places his hooves on the tree and this time he doesn't fall. He starts walking up the tree.
Hey! I did it!
Maintain your focus, otherwise you'll come down again.
"I see. But, have you ever heard of Ki? I'm good with standard magic, what I need practice with is ki."
Peacemaker takes a few more steps and stops at the branch.

Very good, now maintain your focus and see how long you can stay there.
I feel like I can stay here forever, but it's because I am actually levitating my hooves. I'm not really walking on the tree.
He starts drifting away from the branch upside down slowly. He stays in the air for a bit before slowly descending to the ground, dangling his body from the hooves.
I still don't know how you do that.
Well focus on both the tree and your hooves, maintain strength and focus equally to have your hooves stick to the tree.
Kato had spent a few minutes watching the ponies attempt to walk up the tree thinking to himself that he could swear he's seen this before somewhere(yes yes,nice reference).After contemplating it for a moment Kato decided he should attempt this new way of using his magic.Steping up to the tree Kato breathed in and out deeply and focused on his hooves before closing his eyes.They began to glow a faint blue color and before he knew it he was slowly walking up the side of the tree.It was only when he opened his eyes did he realize he was actually doing it.But being aware apparantly made him lose all focus because he almost immediately he feel back twoards the ground,at the very last second Kato teleported onto a nearby pile of hay softening his fall"By celestia.....that was a close one"Kato remarked stepping out off and shaking off the hay that covered his body.
A good try Kato. You'll get it. Try to find your balance of focus and strength.

He takes a breath and concentrates again. He tries to think of a spell similar to what appears to be walking on a tree.
(I know a gravity spell, but I'm not sure if he has like sticky hooves spell or magnet spell or something.)
He stands next to the tree and focuses a gravitational spell onto his hooves. Giving more concentration, he places all hooves on the tree and starts walking. He takes light steps as to not fall horizontally from the tree and . He approaches the branch and concentrates his magic to pull upward. He takes a step and begins to stand upside down. He stops there to prevent falling up the tree into the sky.
This is as close as I can get. If this isn't right, then I don't know what you mean.
You are very close Peacemaker, it isn't a spell at all. It is changing the mana flow to make you stick to the tree. All living things have mana in them.
*grunts* I don't even know how to do that!
He changes his gravity spell to levitate himself softly to the ground. He clenches his head with his hooves in frustration and lays his head on the floor, still confused.
Finding the perfect balance isn't easy, it took me several years to master it. It's alright though, we have all the time in the world.
Roots was deep in thought. He had been carefully watching Peacemaker attempt to make his hooves stick to the tree just like Dark Hooves and was also secretly impressed that Kato had almost done it on his first try, even though he fell. He watches Peacemaker make another attempt but he returns to the ground shortly after.
(Balance between focus and strength... not a spell... changing mana flow!? I knew that everything in some way has mana, spending time with trees taught me that, but I wonder if Dark Hooves is talking about... about attuning one's mana flow with another. Maybe... maybe I can do this with enough time and patience. I just hope I'm strong enough.)
Roots gulps and he makes his way over to Peacemaker who had covered his head with his hooves.
"It's alright Peacemaker, I know that you'll be able to do this, that we'll all be able to do this. I'm going to try it myself now... if that is alright with you Mr. Dark Hooves," Roots says and looks up at Dark Hooves.
Of course it's fine Roots.
He pops his head from his hooves breathing hard from frustration, except his eyes were different. His eyes changed red with three dots around the pupil. He has activated his sharingan from frustration. He tries to calm down, taking deep breaths and his sharingan is rearranged again to regular brown eyes.
*talking to himself* So life has mana. Try to channel the mana from the body to the mana of living things.
Roots nods and he makes his way towards the base of the tree. Taking a couple of deep breaths, he closes his eyes and begins to concentrate.
(I may not have been strong enough to grow grass... but I believe I can do this.)
His hooves begin to glow light blue like the colour of his eyes and he reaches out towards the tree, gently placing his right forehoof on the trunk of the tree. At first, he couldn't feel anything, but soon enough he began to feel the tree's own mana.
(Alright... strength and focus... strength and focus...)
Roots slowly begins to pour some of his own mana into the tree and slowly attempts to walk up it, he succeeds in making a couple of steps before suddenly stopping. His strength had begun to wane which was causing him to tremble, although his focus had not wavered.
"I... I don't think I can make it!"
A good start Roots, perhaps you have the focus, but are lacking the strength.
So how do I feel the mana of other living things?
You should be able to see mana with your sharingan.
Roots sighs and steps away from the tree for a brief moment, deciding that he will try again shortly. He could sense the tree chuckling at him internally because Roots hadn't broken his connection yet.
But I don't think it does that, does it?
*activates sharingan*
He tries to focus his eyes, but is careful not to look at other ponies eyes to prevent petrifying them.
I still don't see it. I'm looking at your magic channeling through your hooves, but I see nothing.
I'm not channeling it on my hooves at the moment. I am on the ground. He focuses his mana on his hooves and starts walking up the tree again.
He tries to focus on the magic, trying to sense any sort of sensation of magic flow.
I still don't see it. Maybe if there is more concentration of magic, maybe I can sense it?
Dark Hooves pours more mana into his hooves, the ground starts to crack.
I can feel the ground shake, but I still can't see it or feel it. I guess my sharingan can't see magic then. All it could do is petrify ponies. *deactivates sharingan*
Match quietly walks to a nearby tree and sit's down under it's canopy. His horn glows a soft orange as he carefully manipulates his satchel and draws forth a book from it's depths. The cover depicts an armor-clad pony with a saddle-mounted lance charging a dragon. Match opens the book to his bookmark and begins reading.
Perhaps I'm getting sharingan mixed up with byuakugan. He releases the mana. I can sense mana, but I cannot see it.
Byuakugan? I heard of that before, but I don't have that.
He still thinks of a way of how to sense magic. He levitates 5 small rocks from the surroundings while wondering how to sense magic.
How do you sense magic?
Part of my special talent is sensing mana. I can detect that you are using too much mana for that.
Really?I don't feel like I'm using much at all. I do this a few times when I'm bored or stressed.
So if that's your special talent, then that means I can't do it.
He starts twirling the rocks around in an atomic-like pattern, trying not to bump the rocks together.
Calm your mind, that will help not use excess mana.
Yea. That's easy to say.
He drops the rocks and breathes a bit. He then screams a bit throws his hoof on the ground in rage to release his frustration. He sits down and closes his eyes.
Looks like we found what is keeping you from mastering controlling your mana. You need to let go of the pent up rage you have.
Roots turns around and makes his way back over to Dark Hooves and Peacemaker. He sees Peacemaker on the ground and decides to leave him be ever since he heard him yell.
"Mr. Dark Hooves, I wish to become stronger, no, I NEED to become stronger. Strong enough so I can... I can..." Roots' trails off and he quickly looks away before suddenly looking back at Dark Hooves again. "Is there... is there a way?"
Yes there is, training is required to build your magic power.
"Training sounds fine with me. I do well enough back at the academy, so I'm ready to make some extra progress. They won't mind me being gone for a few days. I've shown you what I'm currently capable of, so what's next? I wish to learn your ways, Mr. Dark Hooves."
Waiting to see where the others are at with their magic and mana control.
"Of course. Like you said we have all the time in the world." A grin comes across Roots' face before he lies down on the grass. He closes his eyes and enters a deep meditative state, letting his magic flow lazily around him.
"Well I would've shown you already if you weren't ignoring me." Blazing Sun pointed out, somewhat angry that Dark Hooves has been ignoring her almost the entire time she's been here.
I haven't ignored you, I saw what you did. You have full control of your mana, so you'll start with the basics of changing your mana's nature.
"Well okay then, sorry... But what exactly do you mean by that?" She wondered.
I mean changing it to make it elemental magic.
Peacemaker was oblivious to what Dark Hooves told him and everything else around him since he was angry being unable to sense magic. He opens his eyes and seems calm now. He gets up and leans to the tree. Closing his eyes, he focuses his magic and wraps his aura around the tree, trying to sense whatever bit of sensastion of mana.
Let go of your anger, that is preventing you from sensing mana.
*grunts* I'm concentrating.
He stops concentrating on the tree with no luck.
Gosh I hate when ponies tell me that. Just leave me alone. I was already calm and you had to bring that up. *starts walking away to another tree*
Ok. He leaves Peacemaker to find perfect balance.
He sits in another tree away from everyone else. He stares at the rock near him like if it's waiting to move. He breathes a bit before making his hoof glow. In another short scream, he slams the hoof on the rock, shattering it. However, he hurt his hoof a bit by the small twitching it makes, but was more satisfied of breaking the rock. He then lays his back on the tree, calming down again and looking at a lone cloud in the sky.
After Blazing Sun thought for a while (Which is until now), she woke up... In a way, at least. "Oh, sorry, I was stuck thinking about what you said." Then, she felt a vibration in the ground, and looked in the direction that it came from. It was Peacemaker, shattering a rock. "Well, most of us don't punch rocks nowadays, but for me, it's just simple strength and pain resistance training. Shall I demonstrate?" She asked Dark Hooves. "Don't worry about getting hit, I'll be facing a direction away from all of you."
He throws a pebble at Blazing Sun.
She then pretty much teleports her hoof straight into the pebble. Although, it was really just high-speed movements she learned and used over the course of her 7.5 year training. "Boom."
Do that again, that was perfect balance of focus and strength. I barely even saw that it was so fast.
"I can do it even faster using ki, which I mentioned before. True, I haven't mastered it yet, but I think I'm pretty good at it."
Now completely relaxed, he looks back at the tree, just wondering again on how to detect magic. He then looks back towards the group. He gets up and walks back to the tree near the group, limping slightly from the punch he threw. He lays down and looks towards the group training.
Do that again please.
Match continues with his reading, thoroughly enthralled by his book.
"Okay, just throw a big one, and I want more to watch me this time."
Everypony, come watch Blazing Sun.
Match sighs, puts his book away and walks over to Blazing Sun.
Peacemaker watches carefully and activates his sharingan. He moves around a bit to get a better look.
Roots breaks his meditation and he quickly stands up, his magic returning within him as he did so. After a few quick stretches he walks over to witness what Blazing Sun was going to do.
"Okay, throw a big one." Blazing Sun then went into a deeply concentrated state, closing her eyes. Seconds later, the same aura from earlier appears again. "Let me show you my highest controllable power." Her aura turns white, with small bits of yellow lightning flowing within the aura itself.
He tosses a large rock towards Blazing Sun.
Blazing Sun waited until the rock was one foot away from her face, and then punches it hard enough to create a big, easy-to-see shockwave. Afterward, her aura turned back from white with yellow lightning, to yellow with no lightning, to gone. "Too easy. Not that it wasn't good enough, of course. True, I have much more power than that, but I sometimes lose control of it if I go any higher."
Now let's start with changing you mana's nature. He gives Blazing Sun a special piece of paper. This is to find out which element your mana is.
Not bad. He deactivates his sharingan and returns to think how to sense magic. He sees a pony listening to a radio. Then he remembers back.

At a school science fair with his little brother when they were younger.

So that's how it looks like inside? Cool.
*reading from a card next to the part of the radio* The radio uses electricity to send a signal. The electricity goes to the antenna and spreads the e-lec-trical signal. The antenna can also recieve signal by ab-sorb-ing the electricity. The electricity can make the antenna like a magnet, absorbing the electrical signal and is sent to the re-kei-ver?
Receiver
Receiver and sends it to the speaker to create sound. Here's a button here to try.
Peacemaker presses and holds the button, which the speaker creates a white sound.
We can also use the button here on this one.
His little brother presses the second button of the second antenna, and the speaker made a beep sound. Intrigued, Peacemaker lets go of the button and his little brother tries it again, this time no sound.

He turns the knob, but nothing
Oh, forgot to turn it on
He holds the first switch and and dials the other. The speaker produces different sounds when the dial is moved. His little brother reads from the card next to the knob.
The antenna can sense different signals. This knob makes different sounds because it makes different fre-que-cies. The antenna can pick up many electrical signals, even radio stations from far away.
So that is how a radio works? That's crazy.
*To himself* Wait... A unicorn sends magic through the horn. What if I make my horn a receiver and pick up their magic? He also said that every life has magic. So if I can make myself like antenna, I could probably detect magic.
He gave a good smile in a bright sense of solving the problem. His smile then turned mellow when a thought came up.
*to himself* So how do I make my horn like an antenna?
"I don't think I even need to look at this, but I'll hold on to it anyway. So my name's Blazing Sun just so you know. But here's the thing. My name has 'Sun' in it. what does the sun create? Light. Plus, most of my best abilities are related to either light or the sun itself. So I think my element is Light." She then realized she might be talking too much. "Wow... Was I talking too much?"
The paper shines brightly as if bathed in light.
So your elemental nature is light.
"And apparently I was right! So, how do I do this... Elemental magic conversion thing?"
Focus your mana, then think of the sun shining brightly. Your mana should change it's nature to that of light.
Peacemaker plays around with his magic to feel an opposite effect of taking in magic or absorbing magic. He closes his eyes and concentrates on making his horn a magic antenna. So far he feels nothing, but still concentrates in picking up some magical feedback.
Dark Hooves looks over at Peacemaker and sees him making his horn like an antenna. Thinking. Very clever Peacemaker.
Match seems very disinterested in this whole ordeal.

As he tries to adjust his magic, he suddenly feels something. He opens his eyes and the sensation disappeared.
Woah. I think it worked, or maybe it was something else. I guess I could try it again. Maybe I did it wrong or something
He closes his eyes and concentrates again.
((In my defense, I didn't 'take control' only inform you of a situation, not your reaction to it. None the less, I will inform you of any other actions done onto your character by mine before I post about it.))
What Dark Hooves said echoed through her mind. "Focus your mana, then think of the sun shining brightly. Your mana should change it's nature to that of light." After thinking about that one line for a little, she decided to try it. "Focus. Picture the sun." Blazing Sun said to herself quietly once her eyes were closed. "A brightly shining sun. Match focus and strength. She then said 5 times "Shine brighter, raise focus." The result was an magic output about 1.7 times it normally is at half-power. True, it was a little bit unstable, but it worked rather nicely. "Oooh, that's nice, I think it worked!"
*-Okay, now I understand. I kind of read that "He receives a strong feedback". Not really what I was planning to make him feel yet, but I could work around that.

He concentrates and he feels the same magical input again. However, he feels another magical field, but the sensation is from a different direction.
He turns his head in the two directions, peeking through and seeing Match and Blaze. He was very pleased with the result.
Wow. So it does work. I guess it works when a pony is outputting magic. I wonder if I use more magic I could feel others.
He concentrates more to try to sense magic from more sources.
Excellent, both of you. Peacemaker, hold onto this paper. It will react to your mana, depending on what nature it is.
Peacemaker hears Dark Hooves and stops concentrating. The sensations disappears and he opens his eyes. Now happy with his newfound ability, he happily walks over to Dark Hooves. He places his hoof onto the paper and awaits further instructions.
Seeing no further purpose in his presence at the magic trials, Match starts moving back towards his tree.
Ok, focus your mana onto the paper.
Focus my mana to the paper? I'll try.
He concentrates trying to focus his magic to his hoof instead of his horn. His hoof starts expelling brown mana.
The paper bursts into flames.
So you are connected to the element nature of fire. Interesting.
Really? That's probably why I like taking hot baths then.
Blazing Sun walks over, the elemental aura still on. "How hot exactly?"
I don't know, but I come out the bathroom with steam coming out of me.
"Then it's over 100 degrees Celsius. Just a guess."
Nah. It doesn't boil. That's TOO hot. It would burn like hades. It's just really warm water. My brother says is my bath is like volcano water ha ha.
"Eh, good point, but I don't think it's that far below."

"I know. It's also a little unstable, but I like it."

So far, I still trying to find out how to sense mana from the tree. I'm getting close. I just need to find a way to sense all the magic around me.
"Well, it's hard to explain, but you can watch others to see how to do that. I felt you grab onto my energy before, do it again, then search for the energy coming from my horn." She stops her elemental magic, then activates her sensing ability. "Go ahead."
I thought of it like an antenna trying picking up magic everywhere. But it only works when someone is releasing magic, maybe a lot. I'll try then.
He stops concentrating on the paper and concentrates his horn again to sense magic. He adjusts his horn until he dan feel something. He again feels the energy coming from Match, but nothing else. He tries adjustg his magic a bit and giving his horn more energy to get a stronger sensation.
Hmm. I still don't feel anything other than Match's.
"Then what if I try sensing everything at once? might be hard, as I've never done it before, but I'll try..." She then expands her sensing ability, starting to struggle about 7 seconds in. "Okay, try now."
What happens is a unicorn has to release magic to sense it..
He adjusts it more and feels another magical source, which points towards Blaze's direction.
I'm sensing you. Can you sense me?
"Easily. Do you need time to figure out how magic sensing works or no?"
Yea. I'm trying to sense magic of everything that lives.
He adjusts his magic again, but no change.
Hmm... what if...? Wait, I think I was doing it differently.
He adjusts his magic again, this time different from his previous attempt. He suddenly feels more sources around him.
Oh wow. I can see more.
"More what? Did you figure it out?"
I can sense more ponies' magic. I can only see them when they are using magic. I'm getting closer. I just try changing my magic and imagine trying to change the color. I thought of a magic that feels like white, and then all this magic came out of nowhere.
"That... May or may not have happened to me before, I don't know. My memory is quite bad."
Just imagine you are a radio. Try to change your magic like changing the radio station. You probably have to play around a bit until you feel something.
"I like using my own magic to feel around and find others to tell you the truth. In fact, that's how I've always done it."
You probably did not felt it cause or that. Ahhh! Just try to change your magic a bit. Maybe you did it differently before and you don't remember.

To me, this style works for me. It's like I see color balls of magic lighting here and there. Pretty crazy.
"Oh wow... That does sound crazy. Now I wanna try it, but I rather stick with what I'm doing now." She then realizes that she's already broken her energy limits. "Oh wow... Again... I just realized. I've been keeping up with the maximum power I can put into sensing for a while now."
Be careful. Don't overuse your magic or you burn out. Yea, That's what I do. You could try my style if you like, but if you feel that your style is better, just stay with it. I still need to know how to feel the magic from the tree. But first, I should try making myself attach to mana so I could try walking. Wanna help me?
"... Okay, first off, I know. I just somehow went beyond my energy limits and held it longer than I ever have before." She stops sensing. "Second off, that's what I've been doing this entire time. I want you to learn how you sense magic the same way I do.
Alright. Fine. So... how do you do your style?
"Basically I just use my magic to feel others' magic by releasing it, then while I can still control it, I move it towards another living being. As soon as the two bits of magic come into contact, you can feel it's magical presence. Although, if you do it in a certain way, which is usually the wrong way, the being, whose magic you are feeling, can feel yours too, which is bad in a battle situation."
That sounds tricky. So release some kind of magic and move it to a living being to sense their magic and connection... I'll try.
He focuses some magical orb near himself. He moves the orb near Blaze.
Is this right?
"Seems right, pretty close to how I do that, but is that your energy? I can't tell."
Yea. Now do I put it on you or what? I don't want to do something wrong and end up hurting you.
"Well it has to be your aura. Magic auras are invisible, but ki auras are visible. that's the reason you can see my energy, but I can't see yours. Oh, and by aura, I mean the energy that's always around you." She uses her energy sensing again, but this time only at quarter-power. "Okay, now touch my aura, which should be visible now, with your ball of energy... Oh, that almost came out wrong." She giggled a little, then created the yellow aura, thinking that the other, more powerful one might overwhelm her.
He moves his orb onto Blaze. He then feels some connection from the orb he created to his horn, mhich may be Blaze's aura reaching him.
It feels kind of strong. It's stronger than my style.
"Well I do show examples of my skill and power, but feeling the energy yourself is the best way to know the strength of somepony."
It's strong, the connection. The only problem is that I can only feel yours when I touch you with my magic. My style I can feel every magic at once. Plus your style uses more magic to sense others.
He stops his magic and gives a sign of relief.

"No problem. Although, I can sense more than one being at a time. It takes about the same amout of energy for me to sense just one of anything, but to sense more, I need more energy, which is why it usually takes more energy, because I try to sense everything."
I realize about my style is that I think of a "white" color and all the unicorns' magic are sensed. When I wanted to think of a "yellow" color, like yours, I only see yours, but it's more stronger. I guess it's a good way to cheat in hide-and-seek.
"Wait 'till you see me cheat. I go invisible... Wait a second..." She thought for a second. "Oh, right! How did you control gravity earlier?"
Well... I just concentrate my magic on my body. From there, you have to make the magic force it's way in a direction, but it has to be as strong as the gravity. So when I put half my body, I adjusted my magic to force in the direction of the tree, and it kind of felt like walking on a bridge. The only problem is that if you miss your step, you will fall sideways or upwards.
"Sounds like one of those 'easier said than done' things..."
Yea. There are some things I find myself.
"Yeah, of course. Besides, some things you just need to figure out on your own."
I need to learn more of my sensing style.
He concentrates again using his sensing magic. He feels the multiple sources again. He then tries to lock himself to Blaze's magic by concentrating the color or element of his aura.
I kind of feel like there is tension between me and you. Like if I could pull myself to you.
"Wait, what is that in this case again?"
Reaching his destination, Match once again retrieves his book and starts reading.
I am right now concentrating my sensing magic to only see your magic by thinking of your color. When I think of white, I can see everypony's, but when I think of a color, I only see that one color. I thought of your color magic, but I can feel more of your magic and it feels like you are a magnet that I can pull myself to you.
"Well, that's interesting. Are you able to do anything with such a feeling?"
((I'm finally eating breakfast... that took a while. :)))
I don't know. Let's see what happens when I pull myself to you with it.
He closes his eyes and concentrates using his magic to "pull" himself.
He suddenly disappears and reappears closer to Blaze.
*Opens eyes* Did you get closer to me?
"Uh... It would be the other way around, but yes. What even happened anyway? It's like you teleported by pulling yourself to me. Interesting."
Really? Wow. Maybe if I go farther.
He starts walking to the tree were Dark Hooves walked upside down on. He concentrates again, locking into Blaze's magic. He pulls himself again, and suddenly disappears again and reappears near Blaze again.
Woah. This is crazy.

He thinks to himself on what he can do with his new magic. He plays around with it by using his magic to sense the magic around him and trying to lock on to them. He locks to Dark Hooves' magic and pulls himself. He teleports near him and then links himself to Match. He teleports again next to him and attempts to teleport to Roots. He teleports to him and now tries to return to Blaze. He teleports and now starts to hold his head.
Ugh. my head. Shouldn't have done it too much.
"Maybe you can do that thing where you walk on the tree using a similar trick, you just need to lock on to the tree itself."
But I still can't feel the tree's mana. Plus I feel like I am teleporting, not... um... sticking to others.
"One, that's why I said 'similar', two, think of the color of nature, which is I think green."
Okay fine. I'll try it.
He concentrates looking for the tree's aura by thinking of the natural color of green. He tries, but cannot sense the tree, only the ponies that have a greenish aura.
I feel or see nothing. Maybe I need to concentrate more.
"Eh, maybe. Although, there might be a book that tells the magic color of many things. True, for us it's usually different, but it might be a set color for plants."
Hmm... maybe. I should try different colors from plants. Maybe that works.
He concentrates on a few colors in hopes in sensing the tree's aura. Nothing worked until he tried sensing brown. He feels the aura coming from the direction of the tree bark.
I think I got it!
"Nice! Now... Walk on that tree!" Blazing Sun laughed a little.

Okay. Hopefully this works out.
He attempts to pull himself to the tree. He teleported, but not next to the tree. He finds himself across the street inside a store in line next to a few ponies for their ice cream.
What? (Ugh. I locked to this darn pony. He was the one with the brown aura.)
He tries to lock back into Blaze, but does not know where he is from the multiple yellow aura sources. He walks out the store, and tries again. He finds Blaze and concentrates on his magic. He teleports right next to him.
Darn. It was another pony that was in the way of the tree. I thought I had it.
"Darn. And it really seemed like it."
I know. Dang it! Well, you have the book then?
"Well, not with me, but yes. I didn't plan for any need for it. Sorry."

Whyeee? Oh well. I guess I have to play around with my magic just to see how to get the aura.
I just realized I can teleport into buildings to someone. I could trick my brother with this ha ha.
"I don't need to directly 'pull' myself to others thanks to my ki energy at least, as all I need to do is sense, then teleport. So, I might join you on that one!"
So if you already know how to detect nature, how do you do it?
"Simple for me. I just use the same sensory magic to find the tree. It is made for all types of magic, after all. Although, Speaking of magic, really just elemental magic, can I convert my ki the same way I convert magic? I'll have to ask him over there, the one who's teaching. I... I forgot his name." She closes her eyes in embarrassment.
Dark Hooves. So you just use your style to sense the tree. Hmm. I'll try that then.
He concentrates on making an orb again just like Blaze's method. He moves it to the tree. He finds nothing, but plays around with the orb a bit to try to sense the tree. Then he feels something strange. He senses a type of magic different from what ponies have.
I think I feel it, and it feels different. I think that's the reason why I couldn't sense it with my style.
"Okay, good. Think you can try walking on the tree now? If you want, try it real fast while I go ask Dark Hooves what I need to ask." She said, walking towards Dark. She activates her elemental magic again to get his attention.
*To himself* Hmm. How do I do this? The way he walked up was like he had magnets on his hooves. What if he made his magic like a magnet to attach to the mana or the tree?
He tries concentrating the magic to his hooves, but now loses his spell of the orb.
Crud!
Now with his hooves with aura, he tries the orb again with success. He puts it on the tree and thinks for an idea.
So... I cant really pull myself to the tree like my style, so what I think happens is that I change my magic to make it magnetic to the tree.
He places one hoof to the tree and concentrates on his magic to change to something that can attract to the mana of the tree. He happens to find the repelling force for the ground when his hooves feel like leaving the ground.
What the...? How I did that?
Still unsure on what he did to repel himself, he concentrates again and loses force from the ground. He continues to concentrate.

Very good Peacemaker, try walking up the tree. He turns to Blazing Sun. You should be able to do that.
He tries his best concentrating lessening on of his hoof's magic output, but starts to feel less attraction from the rest.
Oh shoot. Gotta keep concentrating. Ugh this is hard.
He concentrates leveling the output, but he had to lose his sensing spell. He maintains his attraction to the tree.
Should be easy now.
He again concentrates easing the attraction force and takes a step. He applies more magic to secure his step. He takes his other hooves a step again with little effort. Step by step he makes it up the trunk and looks up towards the other ponies.
Now try hanging upside down from the tree branch.
He stops onto a thick branch. He places one hoof on the branch and increases his output. He places his second one and focuses more on that until he feels confidence the force will hold. Finall he gets the rest upside down and takes very slow and small steps under the branch. He somewhat struggles to output his magic sinse he needs more magic than usual to hold himself upside down.
Mane! He makes it look so easy. But then again I never done it like this.
Nicely done Peacemaker, now that you've got concentrating your mana down. We can now proceed with changing your mana's nature. First grab this paper and concentrate your mana onto it, it will react to your mana's nature. Depending on which element it is, the result will vary.

He concentrates sensing Dark's magic to pull himself to him. He focuses on his color and pulls on the source, teleporting next to him.

He places his hoof on the paper and starts concentrating.
"Oh ponyfeathers!"
A sea blue Unicorn comes running towards the park, dirty blonde mane flapping against the wind as he runs

The colt closes his eyes in a vain attempt to run faster.

The paper reacts to the mana and erupts into flames.
So your mana nature is fire, it can give warmth, but can burn if used carelessly. Lets see if you can do this. Nigred Pyre. He casts Fire onto a log which starts to burn.

He starts to concentrate, but his attention is caught by the blue unicorn colt running towards them from a distance.
I see somepony running to here. Maybe he came to learn, too.
He goes back to concentrating. A small glowing dot forms on the tip of his horn. He aims towards another log. A light popping sound is made and the dot flies rapidly to the log. A small explosive is made on impact. The log rolls a bit, but is left a smoldering mark.
Nope I can't. Maybe more magic?
You can do this Peacemaker, keep at it. He looks to the running pony. It is risky running with your eyes closed.
Okay.
He focuses another energy dot. He fires again with a pop sound and rapidly flies to the log. A very slight larger explosive was made, but like a firework. The log rolls again, but is now smoking with embers glowing on the log.
Nope. Getting close. Actually, let me do this move.
He charges another dot, but glows fiery yellow and red. He launches it, but moves slower. It lands on the log and the log stays on fire.
There we go. That was kinda easy.

Blazing was stuck in thought, just staring at the ground in front of her. She, of course, snapped out of it. "Oh! Why did I not think of that? Dark Hooves, do you think I can turn my ki into an elemental energy the same way as I did with magic?"

Peacemaker feels relieved putting out the fire and is gaining confidence. He looks around to see Blaze and Dark Hooves next to each other. Then he sees Match with a book and was curious on what he was reading, and realized he wasn't very active after giving the demonstration.
He walks up to Match and moves around to see what he is reading.
Hey. What you reading?
"Who me?", Match replies skittishly. "It's nothing.". Match levitates the book behind himself, trying to hide the cover.
Uh... okay. I saw your magic. It looks pretty cool, and you do have a lot of magic when I was sensing it. How did you learn to have a lot of mana in you?
Match lowers his gaze and remains silent.
Kind of reminds me of my little brother. He stays quiet.
So it's a secret then?
"No, I just don't like talking about it."

Blazing finally started concentrating on creating the 'elemental ki' as she would call it. She did the same thing as with her magic, just the sun image in her mind was dimmer as a precaution because she isn't as good with ki as she is magic. About half a minute later, she finished, her ki's power having increased by 55%. "Oh, awesome, I think it worked."
Oh. Fine with me. You wanna practice with me magic? I still got to learn a bit on my fire element, and I need some help trying to get my new teleportation to work well.
"Okay."
Peacemaker levitates a wooden log from a pile and places it on a rock.
I guess what the teacher is saying is that I have to burn the log using a spell.
He concentrates and his horn glows bright yellowish. He fires the spell and slowly arcs to the log like a gentle toss. It misses the log and lands on the rock behind it.
Ah darn it. I missed it. So, yea that is something I am trying to do. How do you do yours?
"I don't know if I should."
You gotta at least try. Maybe just a little. A itsy little shouldn't hurt.
"Okay, okay." Match takes a stance, closes his eyes, andtakes a deep breath. In a flash he opens his eyes, raw mama flowing freely from them, and unleashes a fire storm upon the log. "Oh no, oh no! It's even worse than the last time!"
*In surprise*Wow! That looks cool.

He runs to the lake to levitate a ball of water and runs back to put it out.
Looks pretty good, but I could probably see why you didn't want to show it. That didn't look so bad. I think all you need is to help control it.
Blazing both saw what they were doing and overheard their conversation, but she didn't want to come out of nowhere. She then had an idea. Hey, why not I try it myself, but in my own way? She closed her eyes, putting her head down a little bit. Her pale yellow magic then surrounded her horn, creating a ball of light. Using this ball of light, she fired a small ray of light at a stick, but not before getting some water to put out the fire, incase it got too wild.
"Control the fire? I can barely control the mana flow behind it! Me practicing magic means that I am putting everypony withing a three mile radius around me in danger!", Match shouts, obviously disturbed by the deadly pyrotechnics he had just displayed.
Okay, but you don't have to scream it out. How about this, with the new sensing style, I could probably see how much magic is coming out of you.
Peacemaker concentrates, closing his eyes and tries to detect Match's magic.
Match's passive aura is still as strong as it was before.
She eventually managed to make the stick catch fire, then heard somepony shouting. She put out her fire and looked where it came from. She saw Match and Peace, but then turned back around. She started heading towards a nearby tree away from those two and sat town by it, looking really bored.
Wow. You are letting out a lot of magic. No wonder you having a hard time to control. I could sense it so much, it is like seeing the sun right in front of me.
"I told you I shouldn't have used my fire magic, it's like poking a hole in balloon!"
Okays, but can you change your magic without letting it out? Like can you try holding your magic just inside you?
"That's what I'm doing! I can only use telekinisis safely because I learned to use it before my cutie mark appeared. Any other time I try to use magic it surges out of proportion and wreaks destruction."
Oh I see. Hmm... what I was thinking is to let a lot of that magic out so you don't have all of that built up, but to let it out you pretty much will burn this entire park, or do it at the pond, but the water will completely dry up.
Hmm... this is hard. What you did earlier it didn't look that dangerous, just have water ready. Well... you said you can do telekinesis okay, so I am thinking try lifting something heavy and hold it there. I think that should use up the built up magic.
"I can't just use the built up mana, it's all or nothing. I'd just end up incinerating whatever I tried to lift."
what I could think of doing is launching it into the sky as far as you can so nothing is in the way. I would try like doing a firework like this...
He charges his horn, glowing brighter with every second. He then launches it with a loud pop sound. The glowing small orb reaches at a very high altitude well above the clouds, and explodes into a large firework. Peacemaker holds his head from using up a lot of magic
So... yea I was thinking of that, but just try aiming way up super high to the sky. But I don't know if you will make it rain fire.
"That's what I'm trying to tell you. I limited myself when I attacked the log. I dread what would happen if I were to open the floodgates and let all of my mana out!"
So you can limit yourself then. So if you just let a little out like before, you can probably go less.
"If I do what I did before, somepony might get hurt."
Ugh. There isn't anypony near here. There is a pond so we can put out the fire that is made. The rocks won't catch on fire. Don't worry, nopony won't get hurt. Just aim it to the wood at the brick walls, so that it don't go far.
"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you!"
Turning to what was left of the log, Match once again closed his eyes and concentrated on his mana. When he opened his eyes their was no mana flowing from them, but when he released the spell it was even more destructive than before. Scorching the wall and incinerating all of the grass between Match and the ashes that were once a log.
Blazing has been watching for a couple of minutes when she saw Match use the spell. That's impressive. I wonder if there's more to his power, though...
Dang! That's a way bigger one.

Peacemaker closes his eyes for a bit. He opens his eyes and his eyes color changed from brown to red with three dots around in a kind of swirling pattern.
It's called a sharingan. Nopony knows about it, not even doctors. All I know is that I can petrify others when I stare at them with it. I came here to know if the teacher knows something about it.
Hearing this, Match leaps away from Peace's gaze and yells, "Are you crazy? Put that thing away before you kill me!"
Don't worry, it can't kill. All it does is freeze ponies still, but I have to give like an angry stare at your eyes. It's okay to look at my eyes.
Still uneasy, Match slowly returned to where he was standing.
Peacemaker closes his eyes again and opens them, returning back to normal brown eyes.

Match seems to ease up.

Well... I showed you my sharingan, my... oh yea, the new trick I learned. You remember when I was sensing your magic. I found like this teleportation trick that you can kind of instantly pull yourself and transmit to a pony's magic.
"That is cool! Unfortunately I've never managed to teleport, and ever since I got my cutie mark and my magic went out of control, I've been scared to try."
Ya. It's cool. Don't risk it. Hopefully the teacher helps you find a way to control it.
I never tried teleporting myself. This is my very first time teleporting. The thing that is different is that other unicorns, they zap in and out to places. Mines is kind of silent, and I just disappear to the pony I am pulling myself to. Wanna see it?

Peacemaker walks about 150 meters away into the park, where he gets a clear sight on Match. He closes his eyes and concentrates his horn to take in any magical source or signal. He finds Match's large aura easily and focuses on only his magic, which grew brighter. He "pulls" himself to Match, teleporting to him in an instant without magical poofs.
*opening his eyes* There we go.
"That is cool. Do you need line of sight with your target, or can you move through walls?
((... No sounds? Kinda reminds me of Dragon Ball Z, where there isn't must sound, and no 'poof' either. Also, just letting you know, Peace, I'm having trouble keeping up with you on the other RP.))
She was napping by the tree at the time, which is kinda rare. When Blazing opened her eyes, she saw Peacekeeper, somewhere around 150 meters away. He teleported, not leaving much of any trace when he did so. Wait, where's the sound? There's no 'poof' thing either... Wait a second...! She suddenly yelled out. "What kind of teleportation IS that?! ... And why is it familiar...? I'll have to ask him when I get the chance." She sighed as she went back to napping out of boredom.
*- well... it is the instant transmission. X3 . I added that in my OC's bio somewhere, so this RP helps come up with his part of the story. From the other RP, I myself even have a hard time keeping up with it as well.

Well... I don't need a clear sight. I just wanted to let you see from where I am and teleport right next to you. I can actually teleport through walls, as long as I can sense a pony's magic from there. I found this trick out when I was trying to sense the tree's mana.
*hearing the scream* I heard someone scream. I guess they were talking to somepony else.
"Did you wan't to check it out?"
hmm... check out what? *looking puzzled*
"That scream you mentioned."
The scre... oh! Nah it's cool. It's probably some pony telling somepony in their magic trick or something.
"If you say so. Is their anything else you wanted to show me?"
Hmm... the self levitation, fireball, firework, sharingan, teleportation... sensing magic... I think that's all I can think of.
"Okay. Is there anything you wanted to do then?"
I was trying to sense the tree's mana. I got it before, but I kind of forgot how to sense it again. It's pretty tricky.
"Well maybe you should try that again."
Alright.
Peacemaker concentrates in sensing magic, feeling every source of pony magic again. He then plays around the sensations a bit to try to "see" nature mana.
All I could feel is your magic field. I think I need to move a bit farther to get a good feel.
"Oh, ok.", Match moves away from Peace and the tree.
Peace now attempts to change his magic to sense elemental mana.
I still can't feel nothing.
Struggling, he adjust whatever he can to sense the tree.
Darn! I can't find it anymore. *stops his magic*
"Is my aura still interfering?", Match shouts to Peace.
Don't worry about it. It's not your aura. I just can't find it like last time. I did it before, but now I can't beleive I forgot.
"Wait, are you still tuned to fire magic? Because trees have a natural aura."
No. I am trying to change my magic in every way to try to find the natural mana feeling. I had it before when I showed the teacher, but now I can't find it.
"Maybe the teacher helped you somehow?"
Well... the only thing he told me is to calm my anger down. Didn't really help me much but to tell my to sense the mana from the tree.
"Keep your anger down? So you have anger problems, right?"

Well... I don't like to bring it up cause I do get mad when someone tells me that. You saw me getting mad at Mr. Dark Hooves before. I came so close to using the sharingan on him, but I... uh... what's that word when you stop yourself from doing it? Well anyways, I do get mad, I just don't like to think about it.
"Ignoring an issue doesn't make it go away. It just makes you ignorant."
*grunting* Hey don't call me that! I know I get mad, but it's me. You want me to get mad!?
"Do you want to get mad? Because, if I'm not mistaken, you're the one in control of your body, not me!"
I know I do! *eyes change to the sharingan* Ugh! this is why I hate talking about my anger!

*Turns around, heavily breathing*
"I'm not your enemy right now, you are. And you need to get a hold of yourself and confront your problems."
Peace continues to breath hard, trying to ignore, but his anger overwhelms him and concentrates his magic on his right front hoof. In a shout, he throws a punch through a tree, making a hole in the trunk. He removes his hoof out of the three and his hoof shakes from the pain of the punch, and his breathing slightly calms down, staring at the ground.
"When you're ready to talk, I'll be under this tree." Match says, walking over to the tree he was sitting under before. He then sat down and levitated his book out of his bag and started reading.
Peace continues to stare at the ground, just trying to forget about the conversation. He gets up and walks over to the lake and washes his face to cool himself down. He stares at the water with sharingan still active, then stares back at the ground.
Match continues to read his book.
He finally breathes in calmly, changes his eyes back to brown, and looks at the pool. He takes of his blue Wonderbolts shirt and, using his magic, warms up a small portion of the lake and goes in, relaxing in it.
(Should have never said it. It was going good until that.)
*Looking at his scratched and bruised hoof* Mane it hurts. I didn't know I was actually gonna punch through it. Not sure if my magic got stronger, or the anger that didn't care if it hurt.)
*turns at the tree* (How DID I sense that tree before? I know I started with pony magic, then I changed it around and started loosing myself off the ground at one time. So that is the mana of the grass, the tree would be the same or different. I don't know, but it is somewhere there.)
Post Merge
After several minutes in the lake, Peace, finally calmed, gets out the lake and dries himself with a wind spell. He puts back his shirt and stands up.
He walks back to the tree Match is reading his book.
Okay, I guess we can forget about what happen earlier. I am just stumped that I can't read the mana right. I used to remember it, but I forgot about it. So, yea, sorry what happened earlier.
Looking up from his book, Match says, "Apology accepted. Now onto your issue with detecting mana.". Match returns his book to his bag and stands. "What do you plan on doing about it?"
What I did was that I played around changing my magic to sense whatever I can. Hmm... I think what I was trying to do is just focus on the color green like the grass and the leaves.
My special talent is sensing mana. So I understand that others have trouble learning how to sense mana.
Yea. You are the teacher. You know alot of magic. I am just wondering how I did it the first time.

He starts walking to the tree and places his hoof on the tree. He tries again changing is magic all around.

He thinks back at how he tried getting up while demonstrating.

He changes his focus on sensing brown colored magic and changes his magic around looking for the tree.
With the teacher back, Match begins to shy away from the group. Preferring not to become the center of attention.

Peacemaker starts to concentrate more around shifting his magic, u til he starts seeing brown aura across the wood parts of the tree

He again shifts his magic, but slightly to try to get a better sense of natural magic.

Match lets out a sigh, knowing that he's been I this situation before and what help that brought.
So what is making it wahere you cannot control your fire magic?
"The fact that I have too much of it."
Dark Hooves uses his magic sense on Match.
I see it has built up from not being used, that's why you have such a hard time controlling your fire magic.
"It's not build up, this is my normal level. Peace can testify that even after use it quickly returns to this level."
I see well maybe you are trying to restrain it too much.
" You want me to just let it out? Have you gone mad?"
Well in a manner of speaking, yes. Trying to restrain your fire magic so much is like trying to tame a wild animal, it isn't possible. You must trust your inner flame in order to control it. He carefully creates a small flame and holds it towards Match. Carry the flame and keep it going.
Match's expression continues to be a mix of confusion and fear. "*Gulp* Alright, but I will not take responsibility for what will follow." Match closes his eyes and begins to concentrate on the flame Dark had created. The flame almost instantly doubled.is.size.and intensity as Match's mana flowed into it. Opening his eyes, Match sees the inferno he had inadvertently created and stopped his magic. "I told you!", Match shouts from behind his tears.
I see we are square one with you Match. You must learn to trust your inner flame, it is the only way to control it. Fire brings life not destruction.
"I've been through all of this before.", Match says, still crying. "I can't control something I can barely contain!"
You must overcome your fear of fire. He rubs Match's back.
Match's crying lightens as he feels Dark rubbing his back.
So why is it you fear fire so much?
"Because I can't control it. Because I can hurt others.", Match whimpers.
How's about a place where you won't have that to worry about.
"*sniffle* That would be better."
He teleport the group to a clearing far from the town.
Ok Match, less try again. This time slowly add your mana to the flame.
He creates another small flame and holds it towards Match.
"Alright, I'll try." Match once more focuses on the flame, opening his mana reserve to fuel it. But his reserve far exceeds its container and mana is blasted into the flame in far greater amounts than Match meant, causing the flame to increase in magnitude. But match held his eyes closed tight, waiting for an outside signal to tell him to stop.
Match feels a pulsing from the flame mimicking a heartbeat.
Curious, Match opens his eyes and as he does so a small amount of mana flows from the sockets and becomes fire. Now able to see the bonfire he was sustaining, Match cuts off his mana and all at ounce both Dark's fire and the fire emanating from Match's eyes extinguish. Still scared of his creation, Match's eyes are wide open and he's breathing heavily.
[Woooaaah] that's a big fire!
Alright Match focus on the flame annd tell me what you feel.
The flame continues pulsing with its heart like rythym.
"No, not again! I am not risking your lives any more."
Don't worry I have it under control.
"Well I don't!"
I will maintain control while you feel the flame's pulsing.
"'Flame's Pulses' what's that even supposed to mean? You know I've been to a lot of 'magic tutors' recently, and you have got to be the craziest one!"
*from the tree* He kinda is. But hey, he got me mad, but somehow he helped me remember how to sense tree mana again. Don't worry burning me. I take hot showers anyways. lol But I can protect myself. Let the fire go. There's nopony else to burn, so it's the perfect time to let it out.
"You wan't me to let it out? Fine! I'll let it all out!", Match growls hatefully. As Match spoke, raw mana started flowing from his eyes and his horn burst with flames. By the time he finished speaking Match's entire body was releasing mana through his pores and he was coated in fire. "Are you happy now?", he screams with a similar hatred as before, but now with fear and pain as well. And with a flash and a scream, Match's body vanished, leaving behind only ash and scarred earth.
*Running to the ash* Match!!!
... So that's why he didn't want to let it all out. *sits down in mourning*
Grrr! I should have listened to him, but why didn't he told me he will explode? He should have told me that!
He starts covering his head in anger and sadness as he lays next to the the charred area where Match used to be.
A small ball of fire appears a few yards away from where Match was standing. The ball quickly expanded and inside a silhouette of Match could be seen forming. Then as quickly as it appeared the fire dissipated, leaving behind the crumpled and whimpering form of Match. "*sniffle* I couldn't do it. *sniffle* I just couldn't!", he whimpers in a mix of pain and shame.
*Looking up* Huh? You're alive! *running to Match* I thought you were dead.
Match slowly stands up, with his head hung low he begins limping back to where Dark is standing and paying Peace no heed.
You need help? *tries to help Match*
Match stops and turn his head to Peace and gives him a blank look before continuing on his way to Dark.
Oh... okay.
Unsure of what to do or say, he lets Match walk to Dark before turning back to the tree learning to remember the natural mana.
I want to teach that fire isn't destruction, I wasnt going to have you go all out..
"I didn't, I stopped halfway through. I-I was scared. I'm sorry."
Im feeding the flame, all you have to do is place a very small amount of mana into it and you'll feel it's heartlike pulsing.
Still downcast Match says, "I-I can't. Can I go now, please?"

Dark Hooves looks towards Peacemaker with a solemn look on his face.
I wanted to help him learn to control his mana.
I know. I was just trying to help him let it out with confidence. I could feel he has so much inside that I think he just needs to let a lot of that magic out so he won't have too much built up. At first I thought he blew up, so I just leave him alone.
I got another trick for you. He grabs his sword which appears to have flames on the blade.
*getting scared* uh... w-what is that? What are ya going to do?
This is the trick, I infused my sword whicwith fire magic. He swings the sword up in the air sending a wave of flames skyward.
Blazing Sun finally wakes up with a yawn to see a flame going straight up. "Oh hey, that's cool." She gets up and teleports to Dark, once there seeing a sword that's on fire. "What is that? Well, it's clearly a flaming sword, but how did you get it like that?"
*turning to Blaze* Oh you awake. Dark said that to try to fuse your fire aura to the sword so it can be on fire.
*to Dark* It's kinda dangerous, but cool.
It can be dangerous, but I've mastered controlling my mana.
So just fuse your mana to the sword? Sounds a bit easy.
"There are some things you shouldn't underestimate, like that for example."

He tries to grab the sword with his mouth so he doesn't risk doin something wrong if levitated with magic.[/color]
Before you can infuse an object with fire, you need to master changing mana nature.
Master changing nature mana? I just barely learned how to sense nature mana.
He thinks about what it means to change nature mana, but decides to give a bit of magic to the sword to see if anything happens.
Finally reaching his tree, Match once again sat down and took out his book. But he didn't read it. No, he didn't even open it. For his failures once again overcame him and he began to cry.
Not changing nature mana, changing mana nature. I mean to make your mana take on an element such as fire. I can conjure a flame out of thin air just by combining my mana with heat from the sun.
Oh okay. So I change it to nature.
He concentrates his magic on the sword to take in the form of fire.
Seeing fire flare from atop the hill, Match wonders whether he should go back up.
As he concentrated, the sword bursted into flames and Peacemaker let go of the sword before it burned his face.
Woah. Mane this is dangerous. How do I do this without getting burned?
That was too much mana Peacemaker. Here hold this flame and maintain it's size. He creates a tiny flame.
Hmm okay.
He grabs the sword again and tries to feed it a smaller amount of magic to keep the flame from going out. The flames at times bursts and almost shorts out.
Gosh this is hard.
Remember fire brings life not destruction.

He changes his flow slightly and tries to hold the sword steady and comfortibly to concentrate better. The flame steadies, but still flares at times.[/color]

Filled with a self-loathing he hasn't felt in a long time, Match lashes out and sends a pillar of fire into the air as he releases a soul-wrenching scream.

Seeing his former teacher approach him after his outburst, Match was filled with shame for his actions. But not wanting to bring himself further shame by refusing Dark answer, Match says meekly, "No. I've searched, and I've searched, to no avail. I might as well be trying to light a campfire with a volcano!"
Mystic Bliss sees a group of ponies and approaches them while levitating the flyer

Peacemaker finishes sucking on his hoof and attempts to keep the sword still on him again. The sword begins to flame again, but softly. He concentrates the flow of magic.
(Hmm... what if I think of another thing while holding the sword? I think that can work to help me think of lifting and put magic to it.
He tries to think of cartoons and other things he did in the past while keeping flow.
Very good Peacemaker, I think draining the excess mana constantly will keep it from going out of control Match. Alright Mystic Bliss try levitating a rock.
Match lets out a heavy sigh at Dark's request, but none the less honors his attempt to help by attempting to create such a flame. But in the attempt of doing so Match created too large a flame and cut its life short, refusing to let it get out of control once more.
Well I do have something that can help, it is a headpeace with a fire ruby in it. It will stabilize your fire magic. He holds it near Match.
"I don't need stability, I need restrictions!", Match shouts, obviously become upset again.
ok... let me try she starts to concentrate oh lifting the rock *horn starts to glow* the rock starts to shake and slowly rises into the air come on i need to focus....fooocccuuuussss *grunts* the rock stays in the air a few more seconds before wobbling and falling back down breaking the ground a bit when it hits h-how was that she pants and sighs as you can see i still need some practice heheh she smiles slightly chuckling
Peacemaker opens his eyes to see what the others are doing. He see Dark Hooves helping Match train but Match becming more upset, Blazing napping under a tree, and Mystic learning levitatin.
Wow. She's pretty young filly. She could already lift it just a bit. I think she will learn fast.
He goes back to concentrating, and now stirs the sword around while trying to keep it steady.
Very good, but you need to maintain that focus Mystic. Here hold this cup of water with levitation without spilling it. Match this will keep your magic from going out of control.
Match sighs and takes the ruby circlet. Unsure of what it is or how to use it, Match stares at in and tries increasingly ridiculous ways of wearing/using it.

"Oh", Match says bashfully, placing the circlet on his head.
That will limit the power of you magic to 10%.
"How exactly does it accomplish this? I've tried restraining magic before, with mixed and often hazardous results."
The fire ruby absorbs the fire magic only letting the wearer use 10% of their power.
"Do you truly believe that this stone is capable of containing the amount of magic I produce?"
Yes it will. Now shoot a fireball at this log. He kicks it upwards.
Match almost instinctively launches a fiery bolt at the log with unbelievable accuracy. However, the gem seems to be weaning under the intense pressure of Matches innate magical reservoir.
How do you feel?
"Weak, but more relaxed", Match replies honestly.
Now lets sure you create and maintain a small flame.
"Okay", Match says with renewed vigor. Match uses his magic once more and causes a small fire to light on the tip of his horn. However, unbeknownst to Match, the ruby begins weaning once more from the extreme amount of magic it is trying to contain.
oh ok i will try my best she said with determination and more confidence ok i need to concentrate really hard this time and try not to spill the water she thinks to herself starting to concentrate and lift the glass ok focus she slowly and steadily lifts it up trying to be careful

Match gives Dark a confused look as e questions, "You keep ensuring me that this ruby will hold, is there something that I should be aware of?"
The elemental gems have magical properties.
"Okay?", Match says, curious of Dark's obvious response.

"Sure", Match replies, anxious to use his magic now that he can control it.
Dark Hooves cojures up flaming flowers which float around serenely.
Look but no touch. They will burn you.
Match looked at the flowers, but showed obvious confusion as to their purpose.
Watch this.
He launches 12 logs skyward and sends the flaming flowers at them reducing them all to ash.
The spell is called Phoenix Flowers.
"Why is it shaped like a flower?"

"Oh, okay", Match says, slightly disappointed with such a lackluster answer.

"I'm not sure I can. My fire magic is more chaotic and fluid than other pony's. I think it's because of my elemental affinity, but it could also be related to the amount of mana I have making my magic innately axiomatic."

Match continues practicing with his fire magic, the ruby still weaning under the weight of all the suppressed mana. His flames begin taking shapes, increasing and decreasing in intensity, and moving about the air with no visible source.
*Marble Focused and gently placed the glass of water on the table without spilling a drop*
Alright, now to try to levitate it
He concentrates on levitating it from the handle to prevent throwing magic to the blade which would make it burst. The flames sporadically charge at times but not as great as before. He still holds it onto himself so not to levitate it completely.

Match's fire seemed to burn without stop, as Match produced magical energy faster than the relatively small spell could use. Content with his newly found control over his magic, Match decides to attempt the translocation he had done before. But after a few failed attempts it became apparent that he couldn't, for the fire ruby simply did not allow the vast amount of mana required for Match's unique method.
Well that is an unexpected problem Match. Hi Sparkle Chord, first off hold this paper, it is a special paper that reacts to your mana. The reaction will be varied depending on your mana's nature.
//what element you want, fire, ice, lightning, or water?
"um, alright" Sparkle said.
{Sparkle Chord levitates the paper, focusing all her energy on it}
((ice or lightning would be fine. Ice is preferable, but either one would work))
The paper freezes.
Ice eh, not the easist to use. Best way to use ice magic is to think of cold things and use the words nigred zer which are the magic words to cast the basic level ice magic.
As Peacemaker concentrates further, he thinks of having a sword on his horn, and right away, a flame starts burning near his horn.
Cool, got it. And it doesn't burn me, either. Hmm... let's see if I can do...
He concentrates into a more thinner flame and becomes more uniformed and straight, taking a shape like a double-edge sword.
Hmm... I think I can cut things with this. He he, a lightsaber.
{Sparkle looks at the paper, then at Dark Hooves}
"ok, i can do that!" Sparkle said cheerily.
Marble : how do i get rid of all this water i flooded the place...
Don't worry about it Marble, the ground will soak it up. Next time don't use so much mana. He looks at Sparkle. Go ahead and try it.
"ok... here goes...." she says a bit nervously.

If done correctly the amount of water should be roughly 3 buckets worth. For the ice spell it should be some frost and small shards of ice.

Peace stops, and looks to find two more ponies that joined in. He noticed both have elements linking to water or cold and wonders.

It took me years to master all four elemental magics.
Oh no wonder. It really takes a lot of learning. Hmm but I don't feel like waiting. I probably just stick to fire. More easier for me to do, even though is still hard.

Oh you want to learn the level two elemental magic. Ok fira and watera. The magic words are nigred pyra for fira and nigred hydra for watera. Both spells require more mana than the level one spells.
Marble : these spells require more magic then usual i dont know if i could handle it
It will take practice to learn it.
Match's magical fire has been slowly growing over time, and is now a quite sizable flame. It jets and puffs every so often as Match's new limitation prevents him from controlling it's entirety.
Uh... okay? Not sure if is the words I am getting wrong or that I really am fire element.

A flame flares out of his horn.

Marble : i learned it from a spellbook about Dark Magic
I do posess one dark element spell it is called Demi, Nigred Voida.
For a short instant a small black hole appears, collapses on itself and disappears.
Marble : hmm how about this *she levitates a spellbook* hazum Metrion Virtus!
*suddenly a huge ring of fire forms around her*

Match seems oblivious to the time bomb of magical fire that he is swirling around, for the flame continues to grow out of his control.

Once he finds his concentration, he now proceeds into lifting it with his magic near him while holding the flame steady.
Marble : lets see *she glows her horn and makes a ball of water and a ball of fire* lets try this... *she puts both of them together but it causes an explosion*
Natura heard the explosion and comes toward Marble. "A-are you alright?" she asked.
Marble : wowee so thats what it does ! yea i.m fine ah think...
Peace gets surprised by the explosion and the sword almost flares out of control.

You misunderstand, we ponies cannot breathe fire. Controlling our breathing during use of fire magic makes it stronger than normal. One of my twin daughters can conjure blue fire.
Match practices his own magic again, the magnitude of which being highly reduces by the fire gem.
Blue fire? Then ponies have that special where they can do different fire color?
He thinks and wonders in confusion.
Then how did you make it come out of your mouth? If we cant breathe fire, then why show off that and say its impossible. I know we cant breathe fire. Its a spell, but to make it come out of the mouth I want to know.

He tries blowing again, but the fire came from his horn again, but the fireball was hollow from the center, like an inflated ball. The fireball rises slowly and disappears as it cools.
That was weird. Never seen fire like that.
It didn't come from my mouth, I just exhaled sharply as I casted the spell.

Match slows his breathing, entering a meditative state. The fire he created has calmed to a flickering flame similar to that of a candle, and the flame turned near colorless.
So... if you concentrate breathing, you can make fire come out?
Peace decides to take deep breaths.
Nigred Pyra. (Saying this spell every time sounds weird.)
A burst of fire blew out of his horn when he took deep breaths out, but dwindles when he was surprised by it and looses his breathing concentration.
Woah. Thats a big fire. Would be burning houses down if I was near one.

Match launches his flame into the air, where is suddenly explodes outwards with all of the compressed energies that the flame held.

He continues to say the spell and fire comes out as he tries to blow it out. After a couple grunts of the spell, he just quits trying to breath out fire, but instead realized his fire in fact is controlled by his breathing. He takes slow deep breaths and...

Looks at the ball and focuses on it and sourrnds the ball in Purple magic from his horn and levitates the ball up to the hight if his horn slowly while moving his head up and holding it there for three minutes. than let's the ball fall from lack of magic being used up and trys it again this time he hold the ball in the air for three more minutes but the magic holding the ball is flickering and cuts of the magic.
Thats pretty good for one so young. Here, try to lift this. He sets a 5 pound weight near Light Sound.
um okay ( now let's see umm I will need to use more magic this time) he then suronds the wight with magic and lift it slowly to half his hight and hold it there for one minute then trys to lift the wight a little higher but it is getting heavyer and harder to mantan his magic the more he lifts. so he keeps the wight at half his hight and trys to feed more magic to keep the wight up for two more minutes but ends up feeding to much magic that the wight cracks a hire thin line and he cuts off his magic huh huh oh no I feed the wight to much magic huh huh how was that dark hooves? huh huh he says in semi short breaths and sets down to sigh

um that sounds fun and hard Then goes back to his focus practice for a few hours and with every lift he lifts the wight a bit more then half his hight inch by inch, while taking brakes every now and then so he does not taire out (a few more lifts and i all most got it to the hight of my horn come on all most there just a few more inches, two more inches, one more inch) starts breathing heavily (one, more, lift, there) but the magic cuts off and end up lining down on the dirt and falling asleep on the spot with a smile on his sleeping face
Dark Hooves smiles seeing Light Sound try so hard to get better.

The flame comes out again, but maintains control much more quicker and easier. The flame looks smooth like a small blowtorch or a candle fire but larger, as big as his head. The heat isn't as intense as before and is comfortable enough for ponies who feel cold to gather near him. As he holds his flame and breathing, he continues to watch so he can figure to double task. This will help him to control his fire as easy as breathing sort to speak.

Light Sound wakes up with a ywan (that was a good nap oh yaeh I did it I lifted the 5 pound wight to the hight of my horn) with a ^-^ (oh that lifting made me hungry I will go see what I have in my bag to eat) trots to his bag and opens it to seach for something good but then puts a hoof to his chin ( umm is it lunch time?) instead of pulling out a full lunch to eat he pulls out an Apple for a snack and closes the bag with the apple in he's magic and sits down to eat his Apple and whatch the other ponies do their magic spells

Third-level firaga? Is it as hard as the spell to walk up the tree?
It's harder, by power level fira is 50% stronger than fire, firaga is twice as strong as fira. They are equally more difficult to cast and cost more mana. Same applies to the other elements. It took me years to master the third level fire spell firaga. Breathing control is crucial to be able to cast it. You have to simultaneously maintain focus and breathing control to cast it.
Years huh? And all it takes is a lot of breathing and focus...
He looks up to his horn still having the large candleflame-shaped torch on him consistent in size.
Probably shouldn't be that hard to do.
It's not as easy as you think, if either breathing control or focus are out of sync you won't be able to cast it. He flies up into the sky. I'll demonstrate it for you. Just watch. He steadies his breathing and focuses his mana with the highest possible degree. Nigred PyraGA!

His prediction came true as he threw it, he mace the shuriken flare up. Though getting good with magic, his aim was really off the tree, not even hitting the bark.

I have notes on the nature element from reading a book in Princess Twilight's castle. I took notes on all the elements before opening the class.

Light Sound trots to where he was before and sits down in front of the 5 pound wight lights up his horn to lift the wight to the hight of his horn.
Holds the wight there with not as much magic for one minute. As he hold the wight it is slowly going down as the one minute thirty pass he say to himself (oh no in need to feed more magic into it) his horn glows a little brighter and the wight goes back to the hight of his horn and hlod the wight there. As two minute thirty pass by but as the three minutes come up he feeds more magic into the wight and lift the wight more higher than where it is to be and says to himself. (ugh err ow oh no that is to much butter feed less magic on to it, ugh ow my head it hurts I better lower the wight back down ow) put less magic and lower the wight back down to where it was before. As the three minutes pass he lowers the wight to the ground while cutting off his magic so he can rub his head with a hoof.
(rub rub rub Ow my head that hurt and aww this is getting harder to do the more I hold it up and if I hold it up with less magic it starts to slowly go down but if I put to much magic on to it goes higher than where I went it ow rub rub rub rub head)

We have a finite pool of mana, using our magic depletes it. It builds back up if we rest and not use our magic.

Peacemaker continues to toss the shurikens to the tree and is now getting the hang of making them on fire. He looks to everyone who is also practicing their magic. He attempts to try to catch the attention by aming the flaming shurikens at another tree that is farther away. He begins to now toss them harder, however that also means lesser accuracy and some shurikens miss, and some hit the tree, but don't stick and just fall to the ground.

I'll show you, but first a lesson. Magic is not all about offense, defense is needed as well. It takes a different mind set to use defensive magic. He focuses his mana and thinks of a turtle hiding inside its shell. A spherical barrier of mana surrounds him.

Marble : is the shield always the same color as the mana?
Aura color is hereditary. Usually from either the mom or dad. I'm unique though my aura color is connected with my special talent. Its gold during the day and crimson at night.
Then mines would probably be brown or blue cause that's my dad and mom's color. But my eye color is brown, so I think I will make a brown shield.
So... how do you make a shield?
Light Sound leave the twin sister's ying and yang to try to cast a sheild so he trots to where the others are at but then thinks to himself um.. I am I ready for this spell oh and I also have the note my mommy give me he trots to his bag and levates the note to him and sit down to read it.

He puts the note down and says to himself lightra quntma orbitra and a little ball of white light not to bright apperss in front of him for seven seconds and in that time he feels happy then the ball of light disappears iam I ready for the shield spell...
You have to mold your mana into a spherical shape while also maintaining focus. An unstable focus makes an unstable force field.
Marble : hmm well...i have no clue what mine's would be...so i guess i.ll just give it a shot...*she attempts to cast a forcefield*

She then looks straight ahead, and closes her eyes. The barrier started to form, but it seemed a bit unstable. Not from lack of focus, but because of a different and new energy being mixed it, turning her magic color from gold to orange. It seems stable enough for the time being.
((I hope it's fine. It's a bit of a fusion between powerup and power source, which is based on Undertale's determination. It's still called determination, of course. Besides, If I can have one reference, why not two?))

Mold a spherical shape? So basically a ball.
Peacemaker now tries to make this spherical shape aura. As he tries concentrating, his horn is making a ball of brown magic, though probably more glowey than a solid ball. As he tries more the sphere gets bigger. He feels the magic concentrated up to his horn, knowing it wasn't right. He attempts to bring the orb back in, but actually gets bounced off of his horn thrown up and across for a couple meters. The orb he made wasn't a shield, but a simple light orb that shines.
Peacemaker looks up and sees a light orb sitting and wonders to himself
How the hay am I going to do a force field?
Very good Blaze and Marble you both got it. Maker you need to focus and mold the force field around yourself.

Blaze looks at her forcefield from the inside, and realizes it's not the usual gold color. "Huh, that's weird. My aura changed color somehow. It's usually gold, but now it's a light orange..." She checks within herself to make sure nothing was messed up, and notices a strange power mixed with her magic and ki. She knew that there had been differences in her power, but she never looked into it until now. What is this energy? How did it even get here? It seems to have a light red color, so that explains the color change...
((Blaze was 17 during the release of Undertale. That was also when she figured out what it was, thanks to the game. I believe she's 13 right now, So it'll be unrecognizable to her for another 4 years.))
Peacemaker tries to concentrate a force field by charging his spell. He then thinks of making his magic in a way he would try holding a hoof in front of him as is he is holding a shield. The aura now emanates through his horn, but he still can't see something happening. He puts his right front hoof forward to act if he is holding a shield forward. However as much he concentrates his magic forward actually releasing his magic, he sees nothing happening. He continues to concentrate hoping a shield would pop out.
"Hmm I can see this is not easy for a first try..." Natura said
Marble : lets try this again *she casts a shield*
umm so a ball that is a shield that protects me... I will try here goes Closing his eyes to concentrate on his horn as this is happening his horn is glowing bright lime green in a shape of a ball on the tip of his horn, but feels it pushing away from him then growing bigger and surounding him.
Suddenly he is pushed back by this and tubles backwards on his butt, notcing what happen he looks up and sees a little ball of lime green light where he was standing before will that was not what I wanted *hoof scofs on gound whale light disappears*

I have to make it surround me Like a ball or a shield? his horn glows with lime green magic he can also feel it at the tip of his horn and concentrate on making a ball surround him but a thought comes to him of a turtle hiding in its shell so he sticks to that thought as he can feel the magic start take shape.
as the shell is one qurter of the way but still link to his horn he opens one eye to see the shape then the other but he is so surprised that the shape wobbles and fails.
*Marble glows her horn once again and eventually manages to cast a shield*

Marble : well i didn't work at first for me
Light sound closes his eyes to concentrate on the spell as he is doing this he can feel the shell taking shape little by little but also feels it Resisting to take shape of a turtle shell so he peeks to see how for he is forming the shell and sees it is almost half way, so he pushes a little more to get the shell half way and cuts of the flow of his magic.
By now he is whorne out from the mental force of that spell.
*Marble casts another shield on herself and light sound*

Light Sound sits down to rest for a bet to replenish his magic while inside of Marble's dome sheild

He stops concentrating and relaxes, feeling successful on his shield being active
Light Sound stand up and still inside of Marble's dome shield and concentrats on his turtle sheild. Making the shield small enogh that he can raise one hoof in front of him to touch it, works well that the shield is all the way to the gound.
He opens his eyes that the sheild is complete.
Light Sound ask to dark Hooves what do I do now? still puting furth mans into the sheild so it does not wubble and Fade away.
Marble : when do we learn fighting spells?
Light Sound stops he's magic and sits down still in marble's shield waiting on what to laern next

I can livatate a few small itmes that wigth less then five ponds for 10 minutes and that's about it that I know of about miagic so I am new to it. *looks away to livatate the donut in front of him and takes a bit off his glaze donut* oh... do have this little orb of pretty light that I can do want to see?

I am more of skill, but you seriously gonna train us in something that will be dangerous? I know our magic itself could be dangerous, but if you gonna put us in something dangerous, I am not for it. Would be better to just stay up where the teacher was training us where it actually is safer.

Marble : hmm i like that *she glows her horn and suddenly 3 red orbs appear in the air* go ahead...try to catch it...
Okay i will try to hit the two blue orbs lightSound moves a few feet away to stand and face the two orbs to hit them with a burst of magic from his horn. *He lights up his horn* then points to the orbs and fires the little burst of magic flys toward the first blue orb hits, *then explodse with a satisfying sound*. So he gets ready to hit the other blue orb. So he goes for the second one but miss. trying again but that time miss and again, again, then this time hits it but no exploation. Aw why it did not go boom?
Marble : this is not good...they weren't supposed to explode they were supposed to turn darker blue once you hit them
I think his magic changed the orbs to make them explode when they turned blue. Hmm let me try using one of the orbs.
He concentrates his magic, using the same technique to see magic around him to be able to walk up the tree. He senses the orb's magical energy and now concentrates to "pull" himself to it. In a silent blink different from common unicorn teleportations, he vanishes and reappears near the orb's position with very little sound.
It works on these, too.
*Marble attempts to hit the sphere but it suddenly turns red she tries to disable it but the blue sphere makes Clones of Marble Lightsound and maker*

LightSound: Sorry i still need some control over my magic, but i did hit the blue orb though, also i did not mean to make it go boom then he looks at the clone of himself then looks at marble and says um that is so cool but i think i will stick to hitting the orbs, so can get use to hitting them in different ways
Marble : then try this *she taps the ground and suddenly dosen orbs appear around lightsound*
Peacemaker watches from a side seeing Lightsound training with the orbs.
LightSound hits a few of the blue orbs with his magic, turning them darker blue around him. But miss most of them as he keeps trining. He miss fewer and fewer each go around, that he only miss six out of the twelve orbs. At that time he starts to feel weak from using to much magic so he stops to rest. Letting marble know that he wants to rest by saying marble I feel weak may I take a break?
Marble : good idea..do you want a drink or anything?

*Marble focuses and suddenly a barrely appears on the ground*

Peacemaker sees the orb reflected out of nowhere. He turns around to see where it came from but sees nothing.

Light Sound: oh neet he goes back to finsh off the other six blue orbs, but keeps missing the last one. So he stops and drinks the last of the juice waiting.

As light Sound is waiting and watching the others. He reambers that he also learned a force field spell, so he gets up from laying down and focuses on himself in a dome sheild wider and taller than himself. At first it does not appear so he trys again and again, but failure and by the 10th attempt it appears just for a short time so he trys five more times and the Dome appears for a little longer. That he can touch it and hit with one hoof an impact the dome wobles and he breaks the dome that he is push to his flank. with a wa oof,

Peacemaker continues his new spell. He starts from scratch every attempt to focus magic sensation from pony magic and the magic of other entities. He doesn't "pull" himself to the sources as he knows it is the simple trigger to teleport.
*Marble throws the clone at the edge of the map but suddenly the clone jumps back and Charges back at Marble*

Better. I could sense magic spells being used like using telekinesis. I could also sense magic from other stuff too but has to be like "magic" magic.
"Better, but not mastered it yet. When you've mastered the magic sense you'll be able to sense another pony regardless of weather they wield magic or not. All living things are composed of mana, in the three equine species the mana manifests itself differently in each of them. Like the earth ponies have great physical strength. The unicorns have magic and strong minds. The pegasi can fly and manipulate the weather."
