Messages - Shadechaser

1
Shadechaser nodded as she continued to stare at the trunk of the tree. She felt that if she said another word she would fall to the previous power that consumed a part of her. She looked over towards the area of the Tree of Harmony, seeming to be a random direction, and pointed. The words would be helpful, but they can hear all. Shade returned her sight back to the trunk, for she had no place to say any more about anything.
2
"If you want to know, a while ago... I was trying to see through the shadows... the target was not with a welcoming feel. The target was a minion, and it corrupted me at the time, I was not really... myself." Shade paused as the purple shine flashed. "If you could feel what was in my mind, you would be dizzy. I fear..." she paused again, "that the lost are not truly lost. I fear that my mind is becoming something it is not. Logic within the land... seems to be fading. If I allow it to speak, then it won't stop." The shine flashes again. "... If we can get one who knows how to purge the corruption again-" She stopped mid-sentence as the shine flashes again not a moment after. "I shouldn't speak any longer." She turns to the trunk of the ancient willow and went silent.
3
Shade looks toward the sound of Bane's voice, then looks up toward the tops of the Ancient Willow. "This has yet to have happen before this time. I am uncertain about the comunication through the shadows, without making a solid link. I wish to learn more than I already know, but time is short, his power grows, and the shadows grow weaker with every part he takes away from the light. Even the light within every being helps the shadows hide in peace." Shade pauses for a moment and looks toward the center of Avalon. "If the light remains within this land, then the shadows should remain. If this place were to fall into his claw, I am uncertain what it would come to."

[glow=purple,2,300]Any sign of the point of interest? Not yet, though I think there might be... Any hint of this point? It appears to be. The point seems clouded, and the light that was never there, is still not there. That brings hope. And you know something of this... hope? It is the only thing that keeps me from turning to that side that you saw.[/glow]

A moment passed where there was a dark purple shine in Shadechaser's pupils. When it passed, she looked up to the sky. "What has this world done to my mind? What is this feeling ... of turmoil? Why does it feel like I am drawn to the center of the land of chaos..." Shade continues to stare at the sky as she wonders what these emotions are.

Spoiler: Explaination of the Purple shine • show
Shadechaser's mind, as I previously noted, is fractured. Parts are more likely to be corrupt, others not as much. Shadechaser accidentally targeted one of the six minions and got corrupt by the chaos. As they were removing the corruption, her mind changed the fragments around. The corrupt fragment was not fully cleansed, and that is the dark purple shine's original point of ignition.

When Shadechaser reached the Ancient Willow, she looked up to watch the wind, even the very faint, moving the edges of the branches and leaves. She walked closer to the trunk, ignoring any creature nearby. She curled up next to the tree then looked to the sky. [glow=purple,2,300]Some time there will be a use... for everything that was before... every time I think of it... the hope only returns... One cannot hear the hidden, but the hidden will hear them. Talk nothing of the topic and the hidden will spare a spot for you if you know of them...[/glow] She looked to where she left the wagon. [glow=purple,2,300]I cannot begin to imagine what pain he was in, but the thought only hurts me. ... Something seems to make me want to return to his being...[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]Bane... If you are awake... come to the Ancient Willow. Your presence is where I feel at home.[/glow] Shade said through the shadows.

[glow=purple,2,300]So much knowledge, years have past, and to think he lasted this long... So much... illogical sights... So many spirits... of the bad feelings cause by the one who now holds this land within their claw.[/glow]
5
Shadechaser walked down the well-crafted paths, stopped near the 'throne room,' and dropped the wagon. "I hope this decision is not my curse," she stated as she turned to walk to the Ancient Willow. "Nothing will find me if I lose sight of the light, so why do I try to leave it...?" Shade muttered to herself.
6
Shadechaser and Bane were close to the edge of the hidden land when Shade said, "If the last of the First is my only friend... then that is a start. He should rest as much as he needs. Sometimes, rest is better than anything else." She stopped at the edge of what she could sense as the hidden land to look at the path she traveled. "If one can only know the hope that every being needs to feel... a friend that will always be there... a true friend,... then every thing would be better... every being feeling hope... every day... waiting to see the sun, once... again..." She turned back to the path and started to push forward.

[glow=purple,2,300]Touching. You seem to be growing attached to that creature in the wagon. If you only knew what I have been through... I know what you have been through. If only you knew... Did you hear me? ... Some things the shadows cannot detect... The shadows can see all. All that is shown by the light. The endless dark can only hide the truth.[/glow]

Shade thought, [glow=purple,2,300]These sounds are ... calming, and soothing. If I knew such a melody, the lord would have less outbursts. The residents would be more talkative. The whole of Oblivion would be more calming. Such thoughts shouldn't be, but if the land is what it appears I might have enough energy to scout the ends of these lands. I might do that later, but now, I need to bring him to the sanctuary.[/glow] The melody continued to play at the will of the shadows, along with a few winds that attempted to soothe Bane's pain.
8
"Can't leave a... friend behind, can we?" Shade said as she hooked up the wagon to the saddle she put on. "I will try to keep steady." She started to pull the wagon in the direction of Avalon. With a slow pace, they were off. Shadechaser was cautious of the bumps and dips, and still was alert to the potential threats.

Bane looks towards Avalon, then to Shade. "If you.... wish to, I would..... appreciate it. Though I wish..... I would not.... strain you because of..... me."
"I would rather injure my horn to get you out of harm's way than remain in harm's way as it passes." Shadechaser stated as she conjured up a wagon. The wagon seemed to be summoned in pieces. First, the wheels, then, the holding unit, then, the structure, then, the 'leads', and finally, the saddle. The 'wooden' wagon sat slightly higher than the average filly, with two wheels. The saddle to draw the wagon looked comfortable. The bed of the wagon seemed to suddenly have soft hay for a smoother ride. "Do you have enough energy to get in? If not, then allow me to help you in."

((This is the first time Shadechaser actually conjured up a wagon...))
10
Shadechaser walked to Bane's side and said, "To be honest, this is the first time I have ever helped anyone physically. I was never certain how the darkness would react to a being of light touching its kin... But even so, you helped me... return from the daze..." Shade looked from Bane toward Avalon. "Some things come and go, some remain from the beginning, some never come, and some shouldn't. Anything that is done affect everything throughout the land. Every action... every word... every thought..." She stopped talking for a moment.

"Would you rather be walking, or should I conjure up a wagon?" She finally asked.
11
Shadechaser hurried to Bane as he attempted to stand. "Do you need help walking?" Her voice seemed more worried than her usual voice. "If it is too much for you to walk without help, then I am willing to help." She looked toward the Chaos Capitol, which was out of sight at the time. "If they learn... if they see... if they find... what can be...?"

[glow=purple,2,300]That looked and sounded painful. You have no idea what toll it could have taken... I might have an idea. He is the only one you can connect with. The only other being that has seen the same, if not more, quantity of problems. It also seems like he has one of his own. Only if we learn the ways of our enemies, we will be closer. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer...[/glow]
12
Shadechaser followed as she said, "I understand now..." Shade walked to a tree on the borders of the clearing, and took a seat at its trunk. Slowly lowering her head, she watched.

[glow=purple,2,300]Anything to report? I have found a cave near the peak of the mountain. Could you have been there in one span of time? It is possible...[/glow]
13
Shadechaser stops, looks at Bane, and notices the golden dust. "I need to know, what is the golden dust that just came off of you? If it is not suppose to be spoken about, then so be it. I only wish to know that you are able to stay within this world. I don't want to be left on an island, alone..." Her mane seemed to be blown to the other side of her neck as she said the last statement.

Chrysteel says, "[glow=navy,2,300][...] we should not have to worry about darkness, not oblivion darkness mind you shade, pulling us apart before we go our separate ways. [...][/glow]"

I think you are missing some posts, Omega_Khaos. Shadechaser and Bane are walking through the forest at this time. (Darkness of Oblivion... that is a concept that no one being has yet mentioned, on purpose that is.) Will be waiting for the correction, if it is coming. (In the mean time, I will be talking with Bane. He has some sort of aura that soothes my soul.)

"Our group... is just that, a group. Ones that wish to end his reign, yet there is a lack of communication among the individuals. I do not see the chance we have, but if our group does have a chance, it is hidden well." Shadechaser's shadow, if that is what it is, started to become more apparent. "We need to connect and find common ground. If we do not, then his royal pain would surely break any connection we had. No return... and no way of coming back to sense the feeling of what makes, nearly, everypony alive. We... are just drops of morning dew, waiting for something to make us fall to the lower grounds. A kite waiting to be disconnected from the land below, and sail into the sky above."

She paused for a second. "If we ever... see the sun again,... then life will return to harmonic status. The moon is something I long for, but this land provides little pleasure from the sun and moon."
16
"I would rather leave with a friend than leave alone. I am grateful that you joined me, Bane." Shadechaser said still focused on the path ahead. "I feel more comfort when you are near. Someone, who knows as much as you do, can see more in the land than any one else. ... I feel a cool breeze running through my mane as you stand near, and it soothes my mind."

[glow=purple,2,300]You can return to your search. Very well. Is that mech to be trusted? He has... knowledge. He can allow the dark progress into this land. Didn't you want to leave this land? I did at one time. It has less interest. The [glow=maroon,2,300]Dark Lord [/glow]will not be happy with your choices. If I am punished for my actions, I will only get what was coming.[/glow]

[glow=orange,2,300]This development changes little to our task of reuniting you with the rest of yourself, we must be ready to lose the group at but a moments notice...[/glow] with the message travelling along low brain wave patterns, it would be almost indistinguishable from the rest of Shadechaser's thoughts.
"[glow=purple,2,300]Understood,[/glow]" Shadechaser said through this connection. She seemed to be disconnected a little from the physical plane moments after this, until Bane said something of the shadows.

He finally looks at Shadechaser. "And as you have said before, I will speak with the shadows if they wish it so."
[/quote]

She started to walk into the forest as she said, "I wish to travel by hoof. It will give me time to recover from those past teleportations." She seemed to know what they were planning on doing. She noticed the magic following, if not slightly, from Asterian's horn. "As for the trust... I do not see a shadow trusting its fall to a lighter being. The light and dark have fought for eons. They are not ones to trust an enemy. Clockwork... seems to have something that resembles neither light, nor dark." She seemed to leave the topic open, but continued into the forest.
18
"[glow=purple,2,300]If you so desire, we can take this into the forest. It becomes more private if you follow me.[/glow]" Shade stated. "[glow=purple,2,300]A shadow's light is a vague illusion. I think we should know what is in store the next few moments, before we move.[/glow]"

Shadechaser emerged from Clockwork's shadow as if it was a deep puddle of water. "This land has more looking to those who are not common... those from the dark... and those who stand out in the crowd. No creature is safe in this world... of discord." She took a few steps toward the forest, then looked to Clockwork. She seemed to be waiting for something.
19
"[glow=purple,2,300]If you want, you can check who it is. I will stay within your shadow. Your every move is what I will follow. The shadows know how to mingle without controlling each other. At least, that is how I see it.[/glow]" From within Clockwork's shadow, Shadechaser looked toward the mountains, allowing Clockwork to do what he demanded of his physical being.

[glow=purple,2,300]The land lays nigh the end, art thou the land's revival? This land is no extend, but it may be the final. With nothing more than an end, a beginning will rise. Something more sinister, if not a prize.[/glow]
20
Shadechaser put the hood of her cloak over her head, and closed her eyes. Moments later, she faded out of sight. "[glow=purple,2,300]This will only allow me to talk to you as I follow your shadow. There is nothing I desire in controlling a being like yourself. It would not be kind.[/glow]" She said to Clockwork within his mind. "[glow=purple,2,300]If this world flows like another one did, peace will come. The end is as close as the mountains, but as small as a squirrel. We must not seek the next five steps, but the next two. The ruler is as capable to dismantle a plan as a filly is to walk. The plans that span a chasm will surely end at the bottom, but a plan that crosses a stream will reach the other side.[/glow]"
