She's been recovering after that procedure she had done today. Nothing yet, I'll show her when she feels better.

I smiled knowing that her procedure went well. Don't know the results yet, but I'm hoping the best for her.

I mean... Unknown voice actors won't get hired if they're not known. You gotta put yourself out there to get chosen for a role. They need to audition for tons of stuff, and leave a lasting impression on the directors. That's it. Known voice actors get hired because the directors KNOW their voice, and know their capabilities. Same with acting, directors cast because they know that the actor can do it.

However, some directors don't even give new VAs a chance. And I think that's totally wrong, because you've got to start somewhere. Even as "guard #5", that's a start. That's putting yourself out there. Unknown VAs just need to GO and AUDITION. That's it. That's the key! Start small.. And get big.

I meant to post this the other day.
Having the opportunity to visit friends from out of state is amazing. I'm so happy that I got to visit an awesome tree and a puddle of ink.

And last night was awesome. I stayed up late with one of my very best friends ( @Itty Bit ) and watched silly movies and shows. Then, before bed, I got to stay up even later talking to the most amazing dude ever!!!! He won't believe me when I tell him, but he never fails to make me smile.

1. I don't have that kind of tech.
2. I'm not that great of a voice actor.
3. Even with a bunch of tech, how am I supposed to voice the female characters?

It's totally understandable not wanting to voice your own characters. Sometimes characters have a very specific voice, and you hear it in your head but just can't make it come out exactly right.
That's why people hold auditions, or just contact friends that remind them of the voice of their characters.

I mean.. I've been voice acting for 3 years and I can't do every voice I hear/ see. It's hard! Some characters have a difficult elasticity to their voice that one cannot easily capture. I get it if someone doesn't want to voice their own characters. It makes sense.

I can be so impatient and it bothers me..

But waiting also bothers me.. Especially if it's for something really important.


Also: People who take 2 hours to reply to a very simple message. That's dumb and annoying ._. .
