One of the mane six ends up being asked to star in a movie, so they end up going to Los Pegasus! But that pony keeps having to do publicity stunts and gets all sucked into the celebrity life.

Or the other five enjoy the pony's stardom and stuff, so the pony starts wondering if they prefer the high life they're getting from being friends with a celebrity more than being friends with her the way she was before all that.

For example
Rainbow Dash: It really is amazing, and I love it.
Twilight Sparkle: Then, why are you so sad?
Rainbow Dash: It's just... I feel like you guys are starting to like the special treatment more than you like me. Like, you like me more as a celebrity than a friend or something.
Rarity: Oh, don't be ridiculous, darling! You'll always be our friend above all else!
Rainbow Dash: R-really?
Applejack: Sure as sugar! You didn't really think we'd let this fancy lifestyle get to our heads, did yah?

Applejack needs a solo song the most, indeed! She also needs an episode to herself where she doesn't get overshadowed (Derpy talking/Pinkie berserk over broken promise) or have to share the episode (Dashie wants cider).

RANT:

Derpy is not "an insult" to disabled people. I actually DO have visual disabilities, and my brother is mentally retarded, as in the medical term. Neither of us are offended, our parents aren't offended, none of our family is offended...so are the "offended" paranoid or trolls? Still, the show leans towards them at stuff like Derpy, and if they try Derpy again, they might get sued by those jerks.

And I'd really like to see more of Derpy though I don't think that will ever happen again...
And of course more catchy songs (I'm pretty sure Pinkie Pie will do her very best on this one)...
And a high pun per episode ratio would really be appreciated.
